i lowkey hate when ppl post stuff claiming high alter counts are ‘suspicious’ or ‘a sign of faking’. yes, specialists will tend to look for symptoms of faking, with high alter counts being one of them. but thats INCREDIBLY situational, and specialists are trying to diagnose and treat people off of disorders that are under researched as hell, with most sources not being fully credible or being almost entirely speculative

not sure what exactly prompted this to come into my inbox but i completely agree, especially as someone with a very high headcount...

even then, a high alter count isn't something professionals look for when people malinger DID . they look for things like exaggerating alter features , change in reported symptoms , inconsistent abuse history , and overreporting symptoms, not a high alter count.

even evennnn then , malingering DID or any disorder or disability in itself is a disorder and deserves treatment 👍🏻

I’m no Hypno expert, but I’ve watched a fair bit of his decked out runs and streams as of late and can not think of what you would be referring to. I can not think of a time he has been rude about decked out, or Tango as the creator of it.
