okay so based off of haymitch ripping his house phone out of the wall, i think he's had several incidents where he's broken certain important things in the house and. did not fix them. the clock's too loud? there's now a knife splintering the middle. looking in the mirror is too much? they're all covered minus the bust-level ones. some are broken! he doesn't own a microwave because the beeping is god awful! the washing machine is in a designated room because if he hears the sound it WILL set him off! like yes he is rich but lavish living doesn't concern him because he is in his own personal hell and money cannot fix what the mentality is tormented by. no, he's not going to see a shrink unless he's forcefully tortured. and all of that is painfully old school.

Podcasters always think that their show has to have more sound effects and voice actors and music and eventually get monetized and promote other shows and I just wish they would go back to the format of some guy reading fucked up shit into the mic for 20-40 minutes and when you google that guy it takes you to the podcast website where you see that his day job is something really random like store mannequin maker or baker at the all night cookie place. Maybe by s2 you can't hear traffic in the background anymore

autism is autisming about Starfuckers, Inc. by Nine Inch Nails currently and god from what i hear abt the actual song I so wish i was able to hear it when it first came out

from what i can find (it may be wrong though, again, i was not even alive when this song came out so i do not have all the information) it's this huge diss track of its time to Marilyn Manson (Manson and Trent used to be friends but had a falling out for many many reasons), Courtney Love, and Billy Corgan (this info was found on Reddit cause im nothing if not a loser) but mainly Manson and like omgg i think it would have been so so fun to watch NIN basically tell the three of them to go fuck themselves irt

i think my favorite thing about the song is how it sounds so artificial. like the words are glitchy and jump to notes, especially in lines like

"My God sits in the back of the limousine"/"I am every fucking thing and just a little more".

it also is the perfect song to blast and actually be able to ignore both people and thoughts

Anyways absolutely. Soundwave is on earth a lot more frequently than Cosmos bc Cosmos isn’t very good on planets that aren’t low gravity (it makes him clumsy and sore and disoriented if he stays too long) so Soundwave is already well learned on the weird things of earth. Including the suspiciously boyfriend shaped and colored fruit.

Cosmos, during one of his infrequent and short visits to earth, comes across a watermelon and Soundwave makes an off handed comment about how he matches the fruit. Cosmos then loses his mind a little bit bc yeah, it DOES kinda looks like him. He thinks it’s the funniest thing ever, when did he start matching with a fruit? Soundwave quietly giggles beside Cosmos because Cosmos is so enamored with this organic thing! It’s so silly watching the spaceshuttle find so much amusement in this tiny fruit (he then realizes, standing next to cosmos and surrounded by his herd of elephants, just how *domestic* this all is. When did he become so soft?).

They then proceed to discover that 1) elephants can eat watermelon and 2) elephants LOVE to eat watermelon so Soundwave thoroughly enjoys watching his elephants happily munch on some melon while cosmos drapes over his shoulders and bemoans the loss of his fruit lookalikes
