Toybox (She/It). shes a funky, fun-loving dark/fly (soon to gradually evolve into fly/run) chao who trips a lot and loves stealing chaos drives. gets pampered to and hell and back. Married to Dorcy.

Dorcy (It/Its). a very competitive, yet social neutral/swim chao who spends most of its time in the water. full embraces the sea beast it has become, would also probably bite you for fun. Married to Toybox.

Marionette (He/She). literally just born. isnt quite sure what he wants out of life yet but he feels a strong urge to make it everyones problem. daughter of Toybox & Dorcy.

Somni (He/They). a dark/power chao who wont stop sleeping. like seriously, i had to wake them up for photo. goes crazy for sugar, however. found them in hell, but temporarily staying in the mortal realm for flying juice.

Flowstate (They/Them). a hero/run chao who is always in awe of something, perhaps of the fact that they are the (self-proclaimed) smartest chao to have ever lived. they now seek to have a perfect balance of brain and brawn, by drinking a bunch of power drives. seeks to become god eventually.

Hopkins (Any Pronouns). a hero/swim chao who could probably be mistaken for a Hopkin's rose nudibranch. it always stares at you like its the end of the world but don't worry, that's just its normal expression. you will know if its stressed if it starts crying. which it does for literally no reason sometimes. it also has a desire to learn to fly one day. tails is currently on a mission to teach it how its done.

thinking about when my professor told me how the boards of companies/orgs/etc. will sometimes hire on a CEO/whatever who they know will basically take a chainsaw to existing infrastructure, let them fuck as much shit up as possible, and then promptly fire them as soon as they've accomplished what the board wanted them to do. then they can point the finger at that guy & look like they're the heroes and the problem is resolved because he's gone now. and they still get to keep all the changes they wanted that nobody else did.

anyway I think it's fun and all to watch the two most divorced men on the planet publicly divorce each other. and also. maybe keep that in mind, is all.

I think a lot of people are forgetting that on tumblr fandom used to be practiced very differently. now everyone fucks off to their discords or tumblr groups to discuss everything with a select few, making tags be nearly only used for posting some finished fanworks or not at all

a decade ago people didn't have tumblr groups. people didn't even have dms. if you wanted to talk to anyone about anything you had to make a post, or send an ask (which more often than not would get published and thereby become a post in the end too)

so next time you think "I have a fandom thought but I have to find a small group of hyperspecifically like-minded people to share it with in private" remember all the freaks you could be missing out on meeting by keeping the tags dead. use tags, make friends. fuck discord.
