UPDATE. I FORGOT ONE. This one starts an argument every time I bring it up so clearly it’s the winner:

I don’t think the 3jimas are as close as most ppl think OR as interesting of a set as other character sets in the series.

Like. First off. Daigo’s only connection to the other two is through work. I really don’t think he’s as close to the others as most ppl think he is.

While Saejima and Majima are WAYYYY closer there’s still a 25 year wedge between the two that gets forgotten about pretty easily.

Also more generally I’ve grown a distaste for Majima & Daigo’s relationship, or at least the way fanon depicts it. I just think considering certain incidents (y4, DS substory) there should be more tension between the two

As far as being uninteresting goes there’s just… more coherent groups. The 3jimas feel very lumped together imo (it’s clear rgg forgot what to do w/ Saejima, and Daigo’s just kinda … there. + Majima’s overarching fan fav shadow) as opposed to cleaner groups (the judgement guys, the ichigang, so on and so forth)

What are your most controversial Daigopinions? (opinions about daigo lol)

oooooo . oh boy ok. i guess if i had to pick my major outlier opinions based off what i've seen around the fandom it would be:

I hc him as bi! i feel a good portion of ppl go w/ gay for him but idk. he can be into more ppl. as a treat. (+ i do also like the idea of him being ace or greyace but sex neutral/favorable leaning)

i. don't really understand the bear fursona assignment GJHEWQTWQ especially since it's very... teddy bear-esque? his Rage is one of my favorite aspects of him so seeing him defanged in fan content a lot bums me out 😔 (+ this is also why i go w/ deer for him! i was trying to think of an alternative & that's what i settled on. prey animal but still plenty capable of being a threat)

i also don't really get the daigo polycule stuff! i prefer shinadai platonically + ryudai as . whatever the weirdo rivals/guy & his bully dynamic they have. (+ i like aroace ryuji. for funsies.)
