thinking of a scene idea in season three when the gang encounters aphrodite. and one of the experienced half-bloods like thalia or zoe or grover are explaining to bianca how aphrodite's physical form is unique for each person. beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. and the camera just pans over to percy whose overhearing this conversation and staring at aphrodite. and its revealed that aphrodite has taken the form of annabeth in percy's eyes. confirmation for the audience and for percy that his feelings for annabeth are a little ways past friendship.

headcanon!!

percy was looking for bianca for 14 hrs straight. everyone else gave up looking for here after around 3-ish hrs. they had to physically drag percy away from the wreck. when they finally did manage to get percy away from the wreck he passed out 30 seconds later. percys hands were also completely shredded and ripped. you could see the bones and muscles. there was blood all over them. he had bandages on his hands for at least three months afterwards. he does not remember any of this. he remembers looking for bianca longer than the others and he remembers his hands getting at least a bit injured. he does not know the extremes of either. his hand is covered in scars and stitches because of this.

zoe’s the one who stitched him up.

Anyways, in my AU the RBA recruits have graduated and become teachers at RBA. They will be mentor / older-sibling figures to the Terrans.

it's no coincidence that zoe died staring at the stars. and no doubt did the stars stare back, offering her a warm welcome and a light to guide her home. it's no coincidence that silena also died staring at the stars. a skylight opening and revealing beckendorf, her guiding light home. but this begs the question. as thalia died atop half-blood hill, was she too staring at the stars? did she long for an end, for the sky to open and the stars to welcome her home like she had always read about? and does she now like awake at night, staring at the stars, long for the peace her newfound immortality has now made inattainable? because i never stopped thinking about it.

Redraw of one of my favourite moments in Succession because Roman's my favourite and I wanted to practise drawing him but then I got too involved and turned it into a whole comic and I don't even really like how it turned out but I spent too long on it to not post it 😭

I used to headcanon that Nightshade and Hashtag would also play this game and they are both very good at it.

After season 2A I realize Jawbreaker would actually also be very good at it.

I posted something awhile ago wondering about how constellations work in the Riordanverse when there are multiple myths on stars spanning different pantheons and how some myths would contradict eachother cause they used to be animals/mythological figures

And someone suggested that the constellations are like apartments and they just share.

So now i got the cute idea of it being like a mini realm in the sky, where the living constellations can watch the earth from above and visit each other

Like the Pleiades sharing with and taking care of Freya's hens, Zoe visiting them (the Pleiades are also daughters of Atlas)

Maia (Hermes' mom and one of the Pleiades!) watching over her son and tutting about her rebellious grandson.

Zoe shooting the shit out of Orion (I know he's alive in HoO but its fucking funny)

Callisto still visiting and becoming close with Maia for taking care of her son (in some myths Hermes gave Arkas over to Maia after Hera convinced Artemis to shoot Callisto)

I dont know that many star myths for other pantheons.
