((Earlier this morning, around 9 something in the morning, I had lost my dad today. At first he was fine and alright yesterday but.....now he's not here. My mom and I did call 911 to try and save him but.....we already lost him by the time I called. Died right in his room when my mom tried to wake him up thinking he was asleep but....I knew something was wrong after. So yeah.......I'm so sorry for not being on but it's been very painful for me, my mom, by brothers, and my family. And I hope you guys understand if my replies are slow or dead, I Just........need time. I'm asking you dears to bare with me for the following days. Right now, it's just...upsetting for me and I'm doing everything to distract myself from this.))

Saw on the bulletin board in my university .Thought it was cute. I think it was done by an individual student as it was the only one I saw, and the Palestine Student Alliance here would mention their association.

The PSA did stage a protest at the on-campus Starbucks last week. It was only about 10-15 students, but it's midterms week right now, and the Starbucks has a marked decrease in students. The line usually full of 20-30 people at any given time, and I've only seen about 4 or 5 at a time since the protest.

I know it doesn't seem like a lot compared to the larger protests in the world, but for Alberta - a province that only protests masks, vaccines, and pronouns - this shows that the students at least care and people are listening.

I like a vibey PSA. Or more a bulletin board. For Melbourne Op Shop aficionados, in the Outer East, there is this amazing op shop. It’s called ADRA on Boronia Road, Boronia and it has the most amazing stuff.

Importantly, all sales go to a well stocked pantry to serve people doing it tough. I’m on a no buy because I am moving but buy something!

Hiatus Announcement

So... it’s come to this. I’m going to be putting all of my OUAT blogs on hiatus for the time being. This is for a number of reasons, the biggest of which is simply the fact that I have absolutely no motivation to write for a dead fandom and it’s been feeling like Work instead of Fun for a long time now.

A combination of high draft count, very few active partners and a general lack of enthusiasm has meant I avoid even looking at these blogs - I don’t even scroll the dash anymore because it’s mostly just blocked posts from multifandom blogs anyway. I’d much rather be channelling my writing energy into something I actually enjoy.

I won’t say I won’t come back, but I also won’t say I will, because I don’t know. I love my boys and I love everything I’ve created for them over the last 5 years and I especially love the friends I’ve made too, so never say never, but... I just need to take a break from these blogs and this fandom for a while. There would definitely need to be a massive overhaul before I could even think of coming back.

On the subject of friends, if you would like to keep in touch I am much more active on d/isco than I have ever been and I am happy to add you over there so we can still talk etc. Feel free to either drop your handle in a private message or ask for mine!

I’ll schedule this to drop across all the relevant blogs throughout the next week or so, to make sure people see it. Thanks for understanding and I hope to still keep up with you all.

Maybe one of your friends left an inappropriate message on your bulletin board, and you are scared that the message will cause your dream address to get taken down well no need to fear because messages left by friends will not show in a dream, only messages left by player characters that live on the island will show to people in a dream I know this because I went to a friends dream where I definitely posted a message but in the dream it was not there at all, and they never deleted it

I’ve been thinking about leaving this place for good actually.

Now I know I’ve said that so many times before nobody can take it seriously but this isn’t a tantrum post over some drama, but something I’ve been calmly and morosely contemplating for a while.

The real big difference now that there never was before was there would always be this pull, this desire to come back but...honestly the pull has practically vanished.

Toxicity, treasured severed bonds, being pulled from one war to the next between opposing friends, hate comments, ship wars. You name it, I’ve done it all. I’ve always compared this blog to a toxic relationship; I could never leave it because there were so many more better memories that outweighed the bad. ...But that isn’t the case anymore. The bad overshadows it all and coming here either gives me indifference or sadness.

And honestly, I don’t get asks, I don’t get likes on my starter calls or many dms. I think I’ve kinda just faded into the background so in the end it probably doesn’t matter. If I stay I will be very very very selective on who I interact with for sure. If I don’t I’ll make sure I give out other ways to contact me to the people I trust. Given I do have a large following here for Hazbin content I might make this a Hazbin art blog when I decide what to do.

It’s all very up in the air right now. I just hope all the people involved in drama, be it recent or even from ages ago, heal. Leave if you have to. Stay if you want to. Do what’s healthiest for you.

            alright! so. at the beginning of august, i will be going off on my annual excursion into the wilderness. i will be headed up into the mountains for…about a week? and i won’t be bringing my computer. i will probably be available on d.iscord / k.ik ( if u want either of those, they are available on request by any of my mutuals, just hmu ) as well as my im’s — primarily in the evenings / late nights. overall very spotty in general, tho. this spottiness due to the fact that i’m gonna try and take this time as an opportunity to destress and unplug — try to recharge my creativity a little bit. because that always helps from time to time! because this site is exhausting sometimes lmao. while i am gone, i will have a small queue of things i’ve been lowkey hoarding out to try and keep y’all entertained. and i am def open to having some small back & forth on d.iscord or k.ik as well! make sure to drink plenty of fluids, take care of yourselves and see you all in about…one week!
