Sky was resting with Viktor within the Arcane, it was exhausting helping to bring back the mind of Vander from within the beast Warwick. She needed to recharge, they both did. Which was why she and Viktor were resting within the Arcane rather than sleeping side by side with her using her body as she often did.

It was peaceful and relaxing. She wouldn't call it sleep but it was restful even with her keeping an eye on the commune. Everything was as calm as could be expected with the Noxians on their doorstep along with Singed. The scientist made her wary and she was glad that Viktor had resisted the temptation and sent the man away.

Then there was a disturbance. She lifted her head and turned her attention to it but didn't leave Viktor's embrace. She didn't have as strong of a connection with the Healed of the commune as Viktor did but it seemed that someone in need of help had arrived. They were being guided here for Healing.

She frowned at that and debated leaving for a moment to use her body to direct the newcomer to a place of rest for the moment since Viktor needed rest. She weighed her opens for too long it seemed since the person was already entering.

Her eyes widened as she recognized the feel of the person. Jayce. He was here and given his reaction to them speaking through Salo, she couldn't be sure what Jayce had planned. Especially since he was continuing to approach the spot where Viktor hovered in meditation. She tried to alert Viktor before reaching for her body just in case.

UPDATE 12/29: Can Anyone Spare $50+?

Hey folks, we're going to be short on rent again. What's worse, part of our rent early autopay went through & our bank account was over $500 in the negative for a few weeks.

Currently, we're the only one in the house with a job, but our first paycheck won't come in until next year. We're good on food thanks to food stamps. And we *should* receive another $342 from unemployment before the end of the month. Who knows with the holidays.

Rent is due on the 1st, but we'll need it sooner than that because of payment processing times over holidays. I think if we're calculating everything right, we'll only need about $50 as long as there's no surprises.

i have a headcanon where the reason Bass is constantly trying to fight and defeat Megaman is because she is actually a tomboy girlfaliure who can't express her emotions in a healthy way.

To be fair, the reason Bass is constantly trying to fight and defeat Mega Man is because "failure who can't express emotions in a healthy way" is actually canon.

He's a pretty typical edgy shounen rival, being a girl would add some interesting flavor and depth. "Angry Kid who keeps bashing their head against the wall in a fight they'll never win because they're a born loser but are too hopelessly stubborn to ever quit" hits a little different when that angry kid is a macho chick trying to prove that she's just as capable as any [mega] man. The daddy issues transcend gender, the personality and character traits work equally well either way, the fact Bass is overpowered (as a playable character) but always loses to Mega Man (as a game boss) same... but the vibe changes when she's the only daughter in the villains' skull-shaped lair, trying to out compete her two hundred brothers.

What motivated Dr. Wily to make his knockoff Mega Man a girl? Is this public knowledge, and if not, does Rock know? Did things go left when she manipulated her way into Light Labs to steal plans for Wily and realized that if Dr. Light tried to do any repairs he'd find out How does Bass herself feel about any of this, or is she oblivious to anything gender identity related, since her only concern is "who is the strongest"?

(I like the idea. But it is of utmost importance to me that any version of girl!Bass- whether she was built that way or transitioned at some point- looks and acts exactly the same. That chest armor works just fine, no sculpted tiddy armor please.)

On a related note, when MMX and MM7 came out in the early '90's, and quite a few people mistook Zero as a lady. Mostly because of the hair, but the boob lights did not help. I always thought Zero would've been a more interesting character that way.
