Someone going through Sephiroth and Zack’s stuff after they died. Who had to clean out their homes?

That would be Kunsel. He cleaned out both. He currently has custody over all of Angeal's plants and has taken on most of Zack's assignments. He has a harder time cleaning up Sephiroth's place--Hojo confiscated all of Sephiroth's personal items but the apartment still feels incredibly spooky to him. There's a sadness in the air he doesn't really like. A...haunting quality.

He was able to find some of Sephiroth's old SOLDIER dogtags, including that of Genesis' and Angeal's (Sephiroth had kept them after his friends deserted). Along with some old photographs. Kunsel keeps them tucked away in a safe place. Not that Sephiroth will come back to claim them, but he feels those memories of a better time DESERVE a bit of dignified seclusion, lest Hojo come sniffing around for more things he can exploit on what remains of Silver Elite.

if you had to give Sephiroth a non-ShinRa career, like a normal-ish person career, what would you give him?

first of all let's establish that we DO NOT put this man in any sort of customer-facing role. Customer facing and autism do not mix.

Given that Sephiroth is very sharp of mind, I imagine he'd absolutely excel in those analytical roles, looking at data and gleaning information from it.

Just no lab work. We don't want to re-trigger that trauma.

How Concerned Citizens Drove a Neo-Nazi Out of Rural Maine

Christopher Pohlhaus planned to build a fascist training compound in the woods of rural Maine. The local journalists, veterans, lumberjacks, and policymakers weren't having it.

Pohlhaus, 37, is a former U.S. marine, an itinerant tattoo artist, and a hardcore white-supremacist influencer. He is loud and hostile, and proud to be both. His voice is pitched surprisingly high, and he has a slight Southern drawl. He has a large body and small bald head; a blue-black tattoo crawls up the right side of his face, from his chin to his forehead. Over the years, Pohlhaus has collected thousands of social media followers, who know him by his nickname: Hammer.

Hammer had been living in Texas for a few years when, in March 2022, he bought the land in Maine. He told his followers that he was going to use it to build a haven, operational center, and training ground for white supremacists.

I am intersex masc (but assigned afab) southeast asian and samoan. The amount og entitlement basically everyone ever in my life as a young person showed towards my hair was fucking maddening.

Mainly and basically exclusively from white women who were salty that their hair didn't possess the super thick, super shiny, and jet black qualities that mine did.

As if I chose to possess those qualities.

Keep in mind. I've been severely physically and neurologically disabled since birth. My complexion and hair are two of my only functioning/non negative body traits that aren't actively acting up.

And yt ppl have fetishized me and acted like if I dared to alter these parts I was ungrateful and sucked and took things for granted because I had "beautiful clear bronze skin" and "ass length jet black hair" (literally had the negative version of Sephiroth hair as a teen)

the thing about having long hair especially if you are a girl/perceived as one is people act like they will be personally offended if you cut it. INCLUDING! hair stylists who you are paying to cut it. double it if you have blonde/red/ginger/curly/etc hair. like the lack of autonomy ive been allowed to feel about my hair, even when its subtle still has me afraid to go to the stylist and ask for the haircut im paying to get.

sephiroth tries to make pasta for genesis and fails miserably

Sephiroth is not the best at cooking beyond very basic stuff. He's more prone to just catching his food and dragging its carcass back to camp instead of actually cooking a meal with everyday household ingredients.

He does his BEST to cook the pasta in accordance to his own personal tastes (pasta is one of his favorite foods after all), and ends up setting the entire kitchen on fire while Genesis looks on in shock, horror, and total awe. The only consolation prize Sephiroth can offer is his last box of Donbei. Which technically counts. So there.

Being very bi, I think there is such a thing as "conventional attractiveness" like there are people who most people are going to find attractive, but no one is going to agree on who the MOST attractive person is. Also, this is culturally determined to a degree that most people aren't aware of or comfortable with, and that's usually determined by markers of health and/or wealth. As in, a painting of a what is supposed to be a sexy lady from the middle ages is going to be different from a sexy lady from the 1910s is going to be different than one from today.

Also, personality/vibes and whether you freaking like the person matters a lot!

With all that in mind, there were probably a couple of boys in your high school who were just as physically attractive as those in whatever boy band was the thing at the time, but the guys from your high school weren't on tv now, were they? And you also had to actually, like, deal with them as people versus projecting whatever your fantasies were upon them.

Sephiroth is a very funny character to apply this to because I feel most of their attractiveness is vibes like I had a thing for this Sephiroth:

Like, without any context for the character they're just this androgynous, smooth person not so different from whoever those too smooth animated Chinese and Korean pretty boys that come across my dash every so often are.

In summary: this is a thing but fiction exaggerates it.

Maybe I’m just asexual but I genuinely think that the idea that some people are so hot that literally everyone wants them is a myth. I think some of those people supposedly everyone is attracted to are just rich or well connected

my guys. top and bottom are sexual preferences, not personality traits.

dominant and submissive are more closely tied to personality but let's not conflate dom and sub with top and bottom.

i'm only saying something because i have seen a LOT of this type of post lately, and it's concerning to me, because it's based on huge misconceptions about homosexual relationships and sexual behavior. there is a tremendous spectrum of sex out there and preferences are as varied and vast as individual people.

for example, there are a HUGE number of service tops who are sexually submissive, but exclusively tops and never recievers. there are an even huger number of dominant recievers who never top. there is everything in between and things you've never heard of or considered.

that's not to say you can't just prefer one character to top or bottom and write them that way to your heart's content. you absolutely can and should! always always always write a character the way you enjoy portraying them! never feel shamed into forcing yourself to make them either a top or a bottom or any other permutation based on popular fanon or social pressure or whatever.

just admit it's your personal preference and don't try to pigeonhole people based on homophobic ideas like "bottom energy" or certain personality traits dictating whether one is a penetrative or receptive partner.

speaking more narrowly, given what we know about Sephiroth, it's far more likely he's asexual than anything else. however, that's not fun for writers of smutty sexy funtimes, so we get to give him any sexuality we want to and make him fuck like crazy. that's our satan god given right as fan creators. let's just do it in a way that doesn't alienate people or perpetuate outdated biases.
