In honour of the menstrual pad question- how would ASGZC (+the Turks) react if they had to help deliver a baby? 😁

Sephiroth: Calm, precise, and surprisingly knowledgable while everyone panics. "Labor can last anywhere from a few hours to over a day, but based on her current dilation—" *Everyone stares* "…What? Hojo made me study reproduction extensively. I've assisted in three live births. Of course, they were all lab specimens, but I assure you the baby will not be taken away to be dissected."

After delivering the baby and ensuring everything is stable, he looks down at the mother and says "You will need to maintain your attachment to the child. Do not leave it unattended. Do not die mysteriously and leave it to be raised by someone else."

Angeal: Absolutely glowing. More emotional than the mother. "You're doing amazing, just breathe, you've got this!" Then the baby crowns. He starts crying tears of joy. The mother is screaming. The moment the baby is born, Angeal grabs the kid and insists on holding them for way longer than is probably acceptable. If you try to take the baby from him, he gets very defensive.

Genesis: Acts like he knows what he's doing. "Ah, the miracle of life. A creation more profound than any verse, a testament to the enduring will of—" *the baby crowns* *genesis violently faints* He does not get up until the baby is already in someone else's arms.

Zack: Wild mix of enthusiasm and sheer panic. "Okay! Okay! We got this! You’re doing great—oh man, that's a lot of blood—okay, breathing, right, we're breathing!" *tries to help but is mostly bouncing around like an overexcited puppy* Then the baby actually starts coming. Zack freezes. His hands shoot up like he's trying to surrender to the situation itself. "OH. OH WOW. THAT'S A WHOLE—THAT'S—THAT'S HAPPENING—WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FUCKING STORK??"

Reno: "I did NOT sign up for this. Wait, did I sign up for this? Is this kid mine? NO IT'S NOT." *Halfheartedly fans the laboring person with a magazine while mostly looking like he wants to escape* "Where is the doctor? Shouldn't a doctor be here? No? Okay, cool, yeah, let's just deliver a whole-ass human today." By the time the baby arrives, Reno is in full panic mode and has 8 cigarettes in his mouth at once.

Rufus: Has never been this close to childbirth and is visibly displeased about it. "There are hospitals for this. Surely one of you has a phone?" Watches Tseng do everything.

Tseng: Rolls up sleeves. "Very well." *Delivers the baby with expertise, ensuring minimal distress for both parent and child* When asked where he learned this: "I've delivered many children in my time." Refuses to elaborate further.

Cloud: The second things start happening, Cloud surprisingly is the calmest person in the room. "Alright, someone get me hot water, towels, and a sturdy knife."

*Everyone stares at him*

Zack: WHY do you need a knife?

Cloud: For the umbilical cord. Or for protection in case a spirit tries to steal the baby. You know, standard birth precautions.

Zack: WHERE? Standard birth precautions WHERE?

Cloud: In Nibelheim? My mom was a midwife at one point. I know what I'm doing.

Cloud, to the mother: You're doing great. Deep breaths. Just like we do in the fields. If the baby's born under the full moon, they'll have the be rich. If it's storming, they'll be a warrior. If a crow caws three times, you have to name them after your grandmother or risk a bad harvest.

Zack: That doesn't even make sense!

Cloud, ignoring him: But if it's born with spiky hair, they're destined to be a hero.

Zack, fist pumping: Oh yeah!

hi guys long ff7 idea rant/ramble below

I've seen this idea mentioned in a few posts here-and-there lately, but I feel like people really gloss over the inherent horror aspect of post-Nibelheim Sephiroth's body just, , being a projection. He's still there, yeah, but his true body has long since been dissolved in and eaten away by the lifestream.

If you think about the lifestream like the burning, acid-esque way we think of mako in ff7, then imagine how incredibly horrific and excruciatingly painful Sephiroth's death must've been.

WE NEED MORE FF7 HORROR GUYS PLSSSSS 😭😭🙏🙏 Because think about it: the image of Sephiroth being burned and dissolved alive when he falls into the lifestream, his real body not actually existing anymore, his "body" being a form that- hypothetically- could take any form he wanted, etc. etc. etc.

Imagine aus where him coming back again, and again, and again, and again acts like a purgatory he can't escape, and he's the only person who's unable to realize he's in one. An au where, miraculously, his physical body DOES come back but it's wrong. His body is inhuman, his flesh and bones are still dissolving, and he's nothing more than a crazed, lost spirit that Jenova refuses to let find any peace.

And think about Genesis!!!!! I see SOOO many fics completely gloss over Genesis and it's like NOOOO IT'D MAKE EVERYTHING SO MUCH MORE TRAGIC AND INTERESTING PLEASE SHOW HIS REACTION TO SEPHIROTH RETURNING BACK FROM THE LIFESTREAM FOR THE NTH TIME 💔💔💔💔 ESPECIALLY when he doesn't come back the same!!!!

For a while I've been tempted to write about this kind of stuff myself, but it's hard to find the motivation to write and finish something 😞 Anyways that's my rant ok bye xoxo 💋

Cloud: Obsessive about killing Sephiroth. He has to be the one who kills Sephiroth, or else he will have something of a breakdown. After Sephiroth is killed, he scours the world for traces of him and consumes them. He both hates Sephiroth with a passionate and loves him more than anything. He's a violent psychopath who wants nothing more than to rip Sephiroth to shreds.

Sephiroth: Sephiroth is more quiet and reserved. He has a certain dry snark to him, often making bored quips at his enemies. He still wants to destroy the planet, but he's less obsessive about it. He also has a bad depressive streak.

Christopher Pohlhaus planned to build a fascist training compound in the woods of rural Maine. The local journalists, veterans, lumberjacks, and policymakers weren't having it.

Pohlhaus, 37, is a former U.S. marine, an itinerant tattoo artist, and a hardcore white-supremacist influencer. He is loud and hostile, and proud to be both. His voice is pitched surprisingly high, and he has a slight Southern drawl. He has a large body and small bald head; a blue-black tattoo crawls up the right side of his face, from his chin to his forehead. Over the years, Pohlhaus has collected thousands of social media followers, who know him by his nickname: Hammer.

Hammer had been living in Texas for a few years when, in March 2022, he bought the land in Maine. He told his followers that he was going to use it to build a haven, operational center, and training ground for white supremacists.
