He asked how, i brought up some stuff about persona, Akechi and Akira's thesis and antithesis, the reality (Like the ideal of Plato), accepting your true self as per p4 and the concept of death and memories from p3

He said we'll have a chat about more of that later, because he wants to know how much of it you get on your free will and how much the game tells you

This just to say how you definitely write a philosophical essay on the homosexual tension between Akira and Akechi alone and that's beutiful

I think a lot of the meta about Orym forgets that Orym isn't just an adventurer, he is a former bodyguard. His self worth is tied up in how well he can protect people and especially his loved ones. Thats why he sold his future to a hag, because its all he had left to give in order to be able to help.

Thats also why he seems so angry after FCG's death.

Otohan has killed his husband and father. Then him. Then he is brought back and told she also killed Fearne and Laudna. She killed Eshteross. She almost kills Keyleth. Now FCG has to sacrifice himself to save them all and kill Otohan and Orym was knocked out for it.

His job is to protect people and even with the added power from Nana Morri, it's still not enough. 6 years later and his loved ones are still dying and he can do nothing but watch.

In Bridging the Rift you can see her in the storyboards for season 2 coded in yellow (like her armor). This scene probably takes place when the chemtanks attacked.

We can see that the figure coded in red is likely Jayce fending off against a large combatant.

I think the figure coded in blue is dressed as an enforcer but just as a disguise to get at close range to Mel, because she's clearly struggling against them before being pushed to the ground.

By the end someone is standing over her with a gun.

I know people are on your ass about the dndads post, but I fully agree with you. I think people are valid in being hurt and not happy with what Beth said, it wasn't a great thing for her to do and they don't have to accept her apology. However, the situation and many that have come before it aren't as big of a deal as people are making it. Approaching the situation with such vitriol is way too much! This could have been resolved without name calling and page long hate posts on tumblr and twitter.

yes, the vitriol and hate are so unnecessary. almost never necessary. and yet, this podcast for grownups has a lot of people acting like they need to be talked to like children regarding who they look up to. sorry kids, your heroes are multifaceted people who can indeed advocate for mental health and occasionally say something shitty. now go take a nap and regulate your feelings about that
