It’s strange finding companionship in the darkest of places. Perhaps it was the mutual trauma and circumstances, all of them the lowest of the low shit-bags no one would give a damn had gone Missing. Humanizing, for lack of a better word, knowing others had made life altering and crippling mistakes now swimming in hopelessly overwhelming debt doing nothing but accumulating interest. There wasn’t a need to impress each other, all of their dirty laundry had been laid out to filth at the hands of the salesman and whoever ran this place displaying the recordings of their utter humiliation.

They weren’t so different from one another after all. Different reasons for being here and competing, sure, but they shared a common goal… until it began to unravel to selfish desire and greed, discovering the less people there were, the more money was added to the pot. Those that wouldn’t let such a place change them slowly banded together, creating groups in finding others they trusted, promises to leave together, to split the money fairly. Sae-byeok had somehow been included within the small circle of safe. Something she’d never had before nor anyone to protect her from others. Since detracting, Sae-byeok had been alone, nothing but scars left as a reminder why she kept going.

Her shadow spoke. Shadow used as a term of affection, Ji-yeong making it a habit to sit or trail behind like a lost puppy, chatting away to Sae-byeok who wasn’t particularly active at listening but was nonetheless. “You killed them? Or just cut off their hands?” Tone conveyed boredom, though curiosity tugged at the corners of her mind, imagination running wild with scenarios Ji-yeong might’ve found herself in. Petite, with an easy smile. Disarming from how open it was and her similar blunt attitude. Subconsciously, Sae-byeok’s hand found the scar on her neck — one earned for the price of freedom. A reminder when things got dark, touch bringing back the memories of when it’d been inflicted, along with the faces of her mother and brother waiting for her.

“Marks left behind make up who you are.” Stories to remember, foundations they built themselves back up from, phoenixes from ash. “If you ever want to, I’d want to hear about them. When we get out of here… that girls night, you mentioned.” Something Sae-byeok hadn’t ever heard of — a night that offered mojitos and a movie. A gesture that gave her more to look forward to when they both got out. Together.

You wake up to the blaring sound of your alarm at 6 a.m., groaning as you reach over to turn it off. A sigh escapes you as you mentally prepare for the busy day ahead.

Reluctantly peeling yourself away from the warm cocoon of your blanket, you head to the bathroom, splashing cold water on your face to shake off the remnants of sleep. After finishing up, you move to your closet, opting for something simple yet comfortable: a white boat-neck tee, grey jeans, and your trusty black Sambas.

The perk of being a freelance designer is the casual dress code—no rigid rules to follow. Quickly, you apply a touch of makeup, grab the closest jacket within reach, and stuff your essentials into your bag.

Before leaving, you glance around your apartment, double-checking for anything you might have missed—keys, phone, or plugs left in sockets. Satisfied, you lock the door behind you and make your way to the lobby. Your bike, chained under the stairs, waits for you. You place your bag in the basket, plug in your earphones, and brace yourself for the chaos of city commuting. But first, breakfast and coffee.

The familiar chime of the door greets you as you step into the quiet café you frequent. Felice, the owner, waves from behind the counter.

“Good morning, Y/N! The usual, or are you feeling adventurous today?” she teases with a warm smile.

“Morning, Felice. Surprise me,” you reply, smiling back at her excitement.

Felice and her husband, Jay, have been experimenting with new recipes to add to their menu, often using you as their unofficial taste-tester. Not that you mind—every dish is a delightful creation.

“It’s on the house! I don’t want your money, Y/N,” she calls out as she disappears into the kitchen.

You chuckle at her generosity and quietly slip a twenty-pound note into the tip jar, knowing she’ll try to give it back if she notices.

Finding a vacant table, you sit down and pull out your phone to review your agenda and upcoming meetings. Alongside it, your commonplace journal—a collection of ideas, sketches, and plans—makes an appearance. Pen in hand, you begin jotting down thoughts as the café’s calm atmosphere settles over you.

The door chime rings again, signalling another customer. Glancing up briefly, you spot a tall man wearing a cozy brown cardigan. You don’t think much of it until Felice’s voice cuts through the air.

“Harry! Your order’s almost ready. Jay’s just finishing it up now,” she says casually.

Your heart skips a beat. Harry Styles? You quickly lower your gaze, pretending to be engrossed in your notebook.

Felice calls your name, and you head to the counter to retrieve your breakfast.

“Thank you! Oh, this looks amazing. What’s in the sandwich?” you ask, marvelling at the colourful creation.

“Lettuce, tomatoes, two types of sauce, and pan-fried teriyaki-marinated tofu,” she explains proudly.

Before you can respond, the man beside you—Harry Styles—chimes in.

“That sounds delicious. Is it available?” he asks, his voice as smooth and familiar as you’d imagined.

You freeze momentarily, your mind scrambling to process the fact that Harry Styles is standing right next to you.

Felice, unfazed, answers, “Of course, Harry. Yours will be out in a minute.” She heads back into the kitchen, leaving you rooted in place.

Grabbing your tray, you quickly return to your table, doing your best to avoid eye contact with him. Meeting famous people always makes you nervous, and being an introverted designer who occasionally deals with high-profile clients doesn’t help. Plus, it doesn’t hurt—or maybe it does—that you’re a huge fan of his work.

You take a deep breath, push your straw into your iced coffee, and focus on your sandwich. To distract yourself, you doodle mindlessly in your journal.

From the corner of your eye, you notice Harry taking a seat at the table adjacent to yours. You keep your eyes down, bouncing between your coffee cup, your phone, and your sandwich, trying to act nonchalant.

When Felice calls his name to pick up his order, you resist the urge to look at him, knowing it would only make you more flustered.

Finishing your sandwich, you glance at your watch and realize it’s time to head to your first meeting. As you pack up your things, you risk a quick look in his direction. He’s taking a bite of his sandwich, seemingly enjoying it. For a brief moment, you consider asking if he likes it, but you bite your tongue and focus on leaving.

With your coffee in hand, you walk to the door, unhook your bike, and start to prepare for your ride. The door chime rings again, and you assume it’s Felice coming to say goodbye.

“Sorry, Feli, I’m in a rush—my meeting’s in 30 minutes,” you say quickly, only to stop mid-sentence when you see him.

It’s Harry Styles, holding your journal in his hand.

“Hey, you left this on the table. I didn’t want you to forget it,” he says, his voice kind and warm.

You freeze, your hand reaching out to take the journal. As your fingers brush against his, you feel a jolt of awareness that makes your cheeks flush.

“Oh, thank you. I didn’t realize I left it,” you mumble, embarrassed.

An awkward silence lingers as you both stand there. You avert your gaze, fumbling to place your bag in your bike basket.

“Thank you again, truly, but I need to go,” you say, finally hopping onto your bike.

“No worries. Have a safe ride,” he replies, smiling softly.

You meet his gaze for a fleeting moment before looking straight ahead, your heart racing as you pedal away.

As you turn the corner, you can’t help but replay the interaction in your mind, blushing harder than ever.

it was easy for leo to automatically stereotype you based on just finding out what cabin you belong to alone

he hated how loud the ares cabin was — it wasn’t like the apollo cabin where Leo could listen to its soft Melodie’s while he worked, it was loud thumps and yelling disturbing his work zone

that caused him to always be snarky and passive aggressive towards the majority of your cabin, grown some guts after going on a quest and finding out he can set things of fire

you were clarisse’s second in command always ready to defend your cabins pride at a moments notice

it was always when clarisse wasn’t around when Leo decided to pick a fight with you — saying some backhanded things about ares kids

don’t get Leo wrong, he grew out of hating all ares kids phase in the first few weeks of arriving at camp

he just started to hate you

and you had already hated him

that caused a lot of tension between the two cabins as a whole and especially got in the way whenever capture the flag was involved

it was nearly a crucial unspoken rule that the ares and hephaestus cabin never be on the same team unless you wanted to lose

until someone made the mistake of doing just that

“Oh of course, you know exactly what to do! It’s not like you’re known for your brains,” Leo taunts while you were making plans and putting on gear.

“As if you could come up with anything any better!” you retort, “The only thing you’re known for is spontaneously combusting.”

that wasn’t great for Leo though since he always mutters under his breath about how it’s getting tiring always having to argue with you and hating how’s he grown to get used to and admire the face that yells back at him

“Why do you even have anything against me?” you glare, walking around Bunker 9.

“¿Por qué me acostumbraste a tu cara?” Leo mutters back fiddling with some device in his hand.

“¿Cuál fue siquiera esa frase?” you remark blandly, seeing his shoulders drop in shock.

now Leo has to be extra careful about what he says when you’re around afraid that you’ll find out about the feelings he’s deemed stupid for you

however sometimes he forgets just how many people can understand you and him when these bits of banter echo across camp

so some campers have decided to take it upon themselves to translate every single thing Leo has said about you on a piece of paper and deliver it on your pillow — there were dates and everything

it seemed to be the one thing that caused you to try have a civil conversation with Leo with him actually returning your civility

“So what was this about you saying I have a pretty face?” you remark, flipping through the packet.

“That,” Leo pauses, “That was when the lighting was extremely good that day.”

“Uh-huh, yeah. Okay,” you nod along sarcastically.

the whole thing was extremely satire since both of you had too much pride to formally apologize to each other so it came in the form of not screaming across camp at each other

it was the best time your vocal cords have had in a while

not for the rest of the campers though

the yelling was practically a common occurrence and was a part of their daily schedule at this point so the silence that should’ve been comforting was now ominous

it got to the point where they all had a makeshift meeting where they had to figure out where both of you were and make sure nothing happened

until then they saw you walking out of the forest — presumably from bunker 9 — poking fun at each other and laughing good-naturedly

and so, the Aphrodite kids won the bet against the Apollo kids and gained a shit ton of drachmas

Things I do for my mental health that has helped a lot:

General:

A “makes me happy” list on my phone I frequently read and add to. The rule is that I have to be SUPER specific on each point. I can’t just put “the rain” bcs then I’d just write that 100 times🥹

I make sure to delete unhelpful apps. Tt hasn’t been on my phone in years. And red note is on its last warning before it’s gone too.

I do my best to keep an easy to clean space. So I have all the things that make me happy visually available BUT not to such an extent i can’t wipe down a counter. Cleanliness keeps my brain from shattering😅

All my favourite creative projects or favourite successes are visually available. None that are triggering! Especially post cards of good memories with family. I want to have more family photos this year but we have tension so I find looking at their faces triggering right now. Hopefully with a few more years that feeling will fade❤️

I go outside every day - even if it’s just in my backyard or something.

Animal treats✨ I keep sugar water for bees, nuts for squirrels, oats for ducks, and seeds for birds in my bag and at my windowsills. The squirrels often come knocking at my door for a treat. It makes the days I’m stuck inside less painful. And it’s always nice to know you are helping.

3 drinks. One for hydration, one for energy and one for health✨ (my energy one is usually my fun drink✨✨)

I have a “shut up brain” time that I’m trying my best to implement. Any thought after like 9 is mid and any after 11 is worthless😅 then it’s a race to fall asleep before 3 or I’m in hell✨✨

I always have peppermint and roasted rice tea in my cupboard. Roasted barley tends to work better for indigestion but I can’t really drink it anymore😑 but all are so easy to make ❤️ just buy some of the cheap dried bags and toast them on a stove. Then soak them in hot water till they mostly sink and the Color darkens✨

I write FanFiction or short stories. ✨✨ it’s how I process my own crap without having to journal and feel so raw. 😀

Ashwaganda - numbs you out - you still freak out but it’s far away. I only use it during a bad spell to avoid taking my panic medication🌝 (don’t do what I do) My mom uses it to help her sleep✨

Lions mane - you need to make sure the brand you use is good! But it’s helping my brain heal so much. That depression damage is no joke! I don’t realise it’s helping till I either do a complex task surprisingly quickly or I forget to take it a few days.

Turmeric - this is a blood thinner so I wouldn’t recommend it with ibuprofen. But helps a lot with my inflammation.

Vegetarian omega 3 or from small fish. Bcs I have a bad heart and blood - this is what my dad has taken for years to help his so I’m copying as I assume genetics?

Gingko - one my dad takes again for his vitiligo. I don’t have it anywhere but maybe my eyes - unsure as it’s fairly faint and I’m very pale😅. But vitiligo increases during bodily stress so if gingko is lessening that condition then maybe it helps with stress? (I copy what my dad takes as genetically we have a very close profile and he’s been chronically ill and neurodivergent his whole life without even seeming really to know or accept it. That man just fucking makes do even if it kills him.👀 he worries me…😅😅)

"URIEL WITH A MC WHO CALLS HER OUT FOR BEING 'RACIST' TOWARDS DEMONS "

The first time MC happens to point out that Uriel sometimes behaves in a racist manner towards the demon brothers or the RAD classmates, the warrior angel would glare at them and even if MC doesn't give a damn, they couldn't help but think that if it were not for some kind of celestial law, Uriel would have smited them already. As for the motivations behind Uriel's resentment towards demons, on the one hand it's because of how she was educated on the hellborn demons (like Diavolo), a bit like Luke at the beginning who didn't trust demons, in fact some celestial beings still struggle to accept the possible prospect of a truce with Devildom, on the other hand, however, there is a greater, deeper motivation for Uriel, namely having felt betrayed by those who once she considered superiors or even friends, seeing those same people break God's teachings that characterized her entire existence, her reason for living being broken and disrespected, affected Uriel deeply. Uriel once admired some of them, for example she looked up to Zuri, in her opinion one of the most beautiful, diligent and pure angels, alongside Lucifer, so when the 7 brothers and the others fell from grace, Uriel felt distraught, almost abandoned, and began to grow and hold back feelings of hatred and regret within herself, thinking about how things could have been resolved differently, if only they had followed the rules. Returning to the MC's reproaches, the first few times Uriel would respond in a rather cynical or dry way, reminding MC that even though those demons seem good, they are in Devildom for a reason and that they shouldn't forget it, given what they went through and risked in their presence, she would also add that quesioning God's will is a sin in the Celestial Realm, definitively more serious than her prejudice towards demons, which in her opinion is justified. As a warrior angel, not used to empathy, Uriel would need help and patience from MC and others (such as Simeon, Luke, Raphael, Nathaniel and Remiel) to overcome her block in accepting demons, however it wouldn't be impossible, showing Uriel that they're still the same people she once knew and that not everyone is necessarily evil would be enough. By improving over time, Uriel would also receive more praise from MC for her efforts, which she would appreciate. As for MC making a powerpoint to explain to Uriel why racism is a bad thing and how it also affects people in the human world, I didn't have time to make a quick sketch, but the graphic representation would be more or less something like this-

Fortunately, she arrived before Link had a chance to help himself to seconds. He glanced up, taking more than a few seconds to take her in. To his surprise, she seemed hot and flustered, but a little giddy too. She pleasantly smiled as she waltzed her way into a chair.

“Someone seems happy,” Link noted with raised eyebrows.

“Hmm,” Zelda hummed, focusing her eyes on anywhere but him. “Forgive me for my lack of punctuality. I was…caught up in an appointment.”

Cooking:

“I wanted to be the one making you dinner for once, even though I know that cooking isn’t my forte.” She paused, but his confused expression encouraged her to continue. “I just want to prove that I…I have what it takes to be a good homemaker.”

Link blinked. This confession shocked him far more than anything else. His expression soon softened and he placed a comforting hand on the Queen’s arm. “Are you still worried about that? Zelda, you know that I don’t expect anything like that from you. I love you just as you are.”

Zelda crossed her arms, fighting hard not to melt beneath his gentle voice. “I know. But I still wanted to do this. To prove to myself that I could.”

Uncertain:

“So, a night out, then?” she asked, thinking it over. “With you?”

“If you’ll have me,” he offered humbly.

“Of course, Link. I’m always happy to share your company. It’s just…” her voice trailed off, her expression turning uncertain.

“I don’t want to force you,” Link insisted. “I just really want to be there for you if you need me. And…if there’s anything I can do for you during these difficult times, just say the word and I’ll do it in a heartbeat.”

Zelda’s eyes went wide as she started to blush a bit. She could hardly believe the sincerity of his words. “Again, that is very kind of you to say. You, um…think about me a lot, do you?”

Link just ended up blushing a little as well. “Is that really so surprising?”

Mayu 🐰✨: Thank you for the spotlight, sir. 😊 I'm grateful to see his lovely extra artwork gift to our selected creators in honor of Mother Earth's wonderful time of the year. 🌎🎄🎁 I've finally learned the true meaning of the so-called 'Christmas', and I have the opportunity to attempt gifting these four respectful critters living on Mother Earth for the first time in my alien life. 😌🤚 I gifted the names of 'Maxwell' 🐰🖌️, 'May' 🐰👊💥, 'Sam' 🦊⚽, and my new recent friend 'Jenny' 🐰🧺 with my special comfy clothes straight from the fresh clothing cleaning device, otherwise known in your Earth's name 'Laundry'. 💚🧺👕👖👟😊 Why is it special? Well, we live on a specific planet and wear these thick and comfy clothes in different weather conditions. We see how Earthlings like these four respective critters will embrace their hairy bodies with our culturally thick softy clothing like I'm wearing today. 😉 I've already gifted my partner Cude 🐰🤖 with the same clothes I have during 'Love' season (known as 'Valentine's Day' 👩‍❤️‍👨💘), and it already proves that Earthlings can withstand our planet's clothing. 🪐👕👖👟😊 And these clothes are not just for cultural, but also a multi-purpose and a word that I never heard before called 'Stylish'. Which is a lovely name for my clothing. 😊 As for the so-called 'Multi-purpose', these clothes you've owned can pretty much any occasion you can think of! 😄Whether you can use it for your 'slumber' purpose (or in Earth's name called 'Pajamas'), an 'occupation' purpose (or so-called 'Job'), or your 'vacation' purpose, it's all up to you! 😊 Furthermore, my cultural planet clothes can prevent any kind of weather and high/low-temperature conditions while wearing them ☀️🌫️🌪️🍃⛈️💧❄️🌎, and they can stretched up endlessly without any noticeable tearing unlike the so-called bubblegum (which, I've never heard or seen it). Plus, it's a 'One Size Fits All' meaning the tiniest or biggest critters/species can wear it. Not to mention 'Unisex'. ☺ What, When, How, and Why does special planet thread make this special clothing made of? Is beyond us. 🤔 Our questionable unknown thread remains 🤫 'confidential' 🤐 not just on our planet but also on Mother Earth, and all the universe. 🔎❓ On the plus side, this will prevent untrusted 'conspiracy theorists'. 😉

The gals are attending some fancy party and they slay here ✨✨✨. This piece takes place in an AU entitled "The Bitches Triplet" and I take the occasion to info dump a little about it:

The Bitches Triplet AU

-Neito, Denki and Mina are triplets.

-Neito and Denki took their father's name "Monoma" while Mina has their mother's name "Kaminari" (rip the Ashido name but choices need to be made) and this + Mina’s mutation make that people don't always realize she is related to them.

-But the brothers are very protective of their little sister so people better be talking no shit. Even if Mina can handle them because she's Queen™ ✨💅.

-They're all protective of each other anyway, in the "living without you is like living without a limb" kind of way.

-Their father is a business man and the heir of a wealthy British family, yes they're half-British.

-When they met Yuuga for the first time the four of them felt a disturbance in the force, the sudden genetic urge to either fight to death or make out in the instant. The tension is very tangible.

-A+ parenting, their mother is most of the time out living the rich man’s wife dream while their father is often busy and puts a lot of expectations on their shoulders, especially Neito’s. Their main caretaker is their nanny (which is an OC of mine I will talk about an other time), she’s a very lovely and lovable person and a good parental figure 😔.

-They’re all a different flavour of nerds. I don’t make the rules 😌.

-They got the triplet’s sixth sense, mostly use it to make shenanigans, no one in Yuei is safe (of course minus Nedzu because he’s Nedzu duh).

-Neito be like “fuck class 1A, I hate all of you (except Denki and Mina)”
