this fandom is so horny for david and michael
not to call you out or anything, but i think the main reason why the headcanon of aziraphale being dom and crowley being sub is so popular, is because you want to fuck david tennant, and you want to be fucked by michael sheen.
not that i don’t like the dynamic, but you’re all just horny for these 50 year old british men in specific ways ✨

During the Caitvi fuck fest, when Cait touched VI’s wound, I was fuming. Isn’t that where Cait KICKED HER EARLIER IN THE SEASON
vi's abdominal area suffers a lot in this show lmao
stabbed by sevika
hit by caitlyn's rifle
stabbed (again) by a noxian spear
punched by jinx
i actually quite like this moment. it's a silent apology, which vi accepts by pulling her in

Bigeneration is just as lore-changing as the Timeless Child. And yet no one shits on it because their precious RTD wrote it. If Chibnall did something like this, y'all would have your pitchforks at the ready. The double standards in this fandom, I swear. RTD is allowed to retcon Doctor Who, but heavens forbid Chibnall even try.
The Doctor is no longer even a parent because of him. David Tennant is a good actor, but I'm tired of people pretending like he's the face of Doctor Who. The whole point of the show is that the Doctor has different faces, and we should love them all—not regress backwards.
We deserved to see the Fourteenth Doctor in Thirteenth's clothes, and not for everything she is to burn up and die. The Fifteenth Doctor deserved his own regeneration scene like every other Doctor, without Fourteenth randomly sticking around because of RTD's inability to let go of the characters he wrote.
At least the Timeless Child added something more to the Doctor's story. Bigeneration took something away: the emotional impact of the Doctor's regeneration - having to say goodbye.

I’m sure glad that EarthSpark S2 treats Starscream as a three-dimensional character like it does in S1.
I’m happy that it treats him like an actual person in S2, and not an illogical bad guy whose only personality is that he is completely and irredeemably evil.
I’m sure glad that it doesn’t insist that Megatron, his abuser, is better than him, like in every other continuity.
I love how it keeps S1’s message about change and that no one is born evil.
Oh! Wait. Except for Starscream.

confession: lyra's chapters were the hardest for me to read to the point i wished that i skipped some of them but i didn't bc i was reading on a kindle and knew that i'd never go back to them and miss a lot of The Plot.
rohan and gigi's were sm more interesting for me bc i was invested in their relationship and whatever the hell gigi had going on with knox and brady😭
BUT EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN OPINIONS OKAY I'M JUST PUTTING MY READING EXPERIENCE OUT THERE

Katsuki's character arc will not be fully satisfied if he doesn't hold hands with Izuku 👏
His whole character arc revolved around regret of not taking Izuku's hand and the perfect conclusion for his character arc would be HOLDING IZUKU'S HAND

I think…we all knew kataang was the endgame. I mean it was quite obvious with the way the directors were pushing it, but imho, I never shipped them. To be honest, I always saw aang’s and katara’s relationship as more sibling then..actually romantic. Which is weird, considering aang liked her since the beginning. I know. But the thing is, katara DID treat aang like a little brother/really good friend. She treated him like a child for half the show. All those pecks on his cheek, in my opinion, gave major “he’s my sibling” or “I really love him, what a good friend!” vibes. I really thought aang was going to get over his crush. I thought it was the little goofy feeling you get after being frozen in ice for a hundred years and you finally see a girl. I didn’t think it would last so damn long. ;-; I genuinely hoped that through the entire show, the writers would change their mind. Because even with zuko out of the picture, I just CANNOT see aang and katara together. They never had romantic chemistry, in fact, the only time I saw a little bit of romantic chemistry was in s3 when they were doing their little tango together. But everything else? Aang was just pining over katara who never really reciprocated his feelings back. Katara was always motherly in a way to him and aang felt like a little kid with a crush. This was on purpose obviously, even the director himself said that katara’s and aang’s relationship was like “a kid who had a crush on his babysitter” so there.
So yea, thanks for reading my yap sesh. :)

You know what grinds my gears a little bit sometimes in silmarillion fanfiction, specifically feanorian fanfiction?
It’s when authors write that the elves, specifically the feanorians, nolofinwions, arafinwions, etc, had/have swordfighting lessons/strategical war training/etc, in VALINOR.
Bc the entire point of valinor is that there is no need for it, they never thought that there was a need for it. That’s why feanor pulling a sword on nolofinwe was so bad. Bc there was literally no preexisting notion for such actions. It’s why morgoth could catch them so off gaurd.
Like, the noldo were fucking noobs when it comes to combat/war (through no fault of their own) during valinor/the beginning of their time in middle earth AND THAT’S WHY they ritually fucked up so badly.
They didn’t know what they were doing, guys.

I write this on the premise that my canon interpretation of relationships, characters, themes, etc., change based on what happens in the show.
So my canon interpretation ≠ fanon interpretation.
My interpretation of haladriel/saurondriel became a story of survival.
Galadriel is a survivor. Sauron didn't just represent her deeper desires; he represented her deepest fears. Fears that she had to face.
And I will never get over how terrified she looks here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Is she scared because she felt something akin to love for him? Probably.
But she is mostly terrified of him. She knows what he is capable of, what his powers are. How he can manipulate the world around you to force you to do his bid. How he can twist your desires into something dark.
She is witnessing once again what loving Sauron does to others. First Celebrimbor, now Adar. He took their love (in the wide sense) and twisted it. Given the occasion, he would do the same to her. He wants to worship her as long as he can control her, like a puppet.
She is terrified.

I HATE VALGRACE!! I HATE CALEO!! I HATE ANY AND EVERY SINGLE SHIP WITH LEO!! HE DOESNT NEED A LOVER HE NEEDS CHARACTER AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT!! HES DEPRESSED!! HES NOT OKAY!!
jason is a very interesting and amazing character (calypso not so much) but i feel like their relationship WOULD. NOT. WORK. they are both WAYYYY to messed up to be in a healthy and safe relationship!! they aren’t ready!! i personally don’t think ANY of the seven are ready for an actual relationship but i don’t want percabeth fans killing me. they are kids with such severe trauma i promise you the last thing they would be thinking of is dating! i think that making dating such a big deal (seen with percabeth and leo) was a real flaw in the books and made the actual storyline seem more watered down :(

Propaganda I'm never falling for: "Coriolanus has mommy issues and Lucy Gray resembled his mother."
All because Snow's mom sang him a popular rhyme that Lucy also sings later or because both women represent this path that he could've taken to be a better person, but the thing is...
Snow isn't a character with mommy issues. He idolizes his mother, he holds a warm, intimate, almost sacred memory of her. She is not a figure distorted by abandonment or trauma, but an idealized memory of tenderness and beauty.
For him, no other woman could replace her, he already had a mother. Not Volumnia Gaul —despite the symbolism—, not Tigris —his literal caregiver—, not Grandma'am, not Ma' Plinth and definitely not Lucy Gray, fill that role.
Because there's no void to fill, he misses her, of course, but unlike his father's death, his mother's death isn't a lingering emptiness, it was a complete loss, unfair? yes, but closed.
With Lucy Gray, it's a power dynamic. They begin to bond over shared traumas like growing up poor, being orphans and losing siblings, etc. The key is that for Snow, he's still better than her. They were both poor, yes, Snow maybe even poorer than Lucy Gray, but he was from the Capitol and she was from the districts, and that gave him a sense of power that he couldn't have with a Capitol girl. That no matter how low Snow fell, he was always going to have power, to be smarter than her because she's a district, subhuman, "clever, but a savage at the end of the day".
More than thinking about how she could take care of him, he thinks about how she belongs to him. The Capitol is actively reaffirming to him that Lucy Gray is property, they refer to her as "his girl" or "his songbird" —he literally says that Lucy Gray may not be aware of it, but to the capitol, she belonged to him—. If he had mommy issues, he would see her as a savior or a figure of admiration, but the exact opposite happens, he wants her to admire him, to see him as her savior, to thank him for everything he did for her.
When this illusion breaks, and he begins to meet another Lucy Gray —rebel, independent, free— different from her version in the Capitol until this culmination where she escapes from him... he doesn't react like a boy who lost his mother: submissive, asking himself "why", "what did I do wrong?", begging her to come back; he reacts like a man betrayed by his property and mourns the loss of power more than the loss of the bond, he acts out of the paranoia of not knowing what she will do next, if she'll snitch on him for Mayfair's murder, he reacts with anger and above all: he erases her.
Take this as a personal interpretation of how I see Coriolanus' character, not gospel, I'm not Suzanne Collins so I could be wrong anyway 👍

I think the reason why many young beginner helpols are so ardent about "talking" to the gods is because they never felt heard or listened to in their parents' religion (which is usually Christianity).
The Christian God never answered their prayers.
