Just days before his inauguration, President-elect Donald Trump launched a crypto meme coin to which he raised over $25 billion dollars overnight while keeping prominent members of the crypto community distracted by having them attend a “Crypto Ball”

The following day, his wife Melania Trump launched her own meme coin which caused the value of the original Trump meme coin to tank in value.

Some of the main priorities voters had this past election were the economy, cost of living, groceries (particularly eggs) and more as many cryptocurrency experts see this as a grift and sucking money from his supporters dry.
