Polyamships is hosting #MultiamoryMarch2025

Multiamory March is a month-long event held each year, starting on March 1st and ending on March 31st, with a prompt for each day.

🎉🎉2025 marks the 5th year since #MultiamoryMarch came to our blog 🎉🎉

Once again we gather to celebrate polyamory in all its forms: OT3s, OT4s, OT8s, V-relationships, QPRs, sedoretus, and any configuration you can think of. In the spirit of this month, we invite you to create works in any medium using the prompts above if you need a little inspiration.

Remember our prompts are there to inspire you, not restrict you. You can also create freely or even use one of our prompts from past years we’d still love to see fanworks for if they inspire you better. MegOP Week 2025 dates and prompts have officially been announced!

Further rules and specifications will be posted closer to the event, but here's a quick run-down of how it works:

All content related to Megatron and Optimus Prime in a relationship is allowed, whether romantic, sexual, platonic, or familial.

Although the event/blog name is "megop," opmeg content is also allowed; there's no restrictions related to who's the top/bottom, dominant/submissive, etc.

This event is NSFW-friendly and dark content-friendly (so long as everything is tagged properly).

This event is OT3+/poly/multiship-friendly, as long as Megatron and Optimus are the primary characters/ship involved

All art forms are allowed, including but not limited to art, fic, podfic, AMVs, screencap edits/photomanipulation, crafts, and any other way you'd like to participate!

Only new submissions will be included in the event collection on AO3, Tumblr, etc. However, it's also okay to post something like a multichapter fic that isn't completed within the time limit of MegOP Week, so long as it's a brand-new piece that hasn't been previously uploaded before.

I'm not answering publically because I have zero desire to accidentially cause someone drama or backlash.

I do my best to tag as appropriate, but you may require a more robust system to avoid certain content or words, so you should use the safety tools provided on tumblr.

On the settings of your blog (desktop, not sure if this will show in the same place on mobile), you can marks words and phrases both in post tags or post content to be hidden from you.

The post will still show an entry (it will not be completely hidden), but you will need to acknowledge the warning about filtered content to view it. It is your responsibility whether or not you view filtered content. Shout out to purple for being an example.

You are responsible for curating your comfort level and exposure on the internet. Tagging, content warnings, trigger warnings etc are OPTIONAL features that many people on tumblr use to make it easier for others to curate their experiences, but they are not required.

this blog operates on a queue. the queue changes speeds based on how many asks i’m getting. currently, it’s maxed out at 50 posts a day. your ask will probably take nearly two days to publish.

replies are not canon, but i’ll sometimes jokingly rp in them. curly will sometimes respond to reblogs.

RULES:

you cannot directly affect the world outside curly’s mind. that means you can’t manifest yourself into a physical form, physically interact with curly, physically alter the environment, or change fate.

you can send curly audial and visual material through links, description, embeds, etc. you cannot manifest physical sensations, taste, or smell (although you can briefly give him a headache through enough caps usage). you cannot affect curly’s real world senses.

curly can tell the difference between what you send him and what’s physically going on around him.

curly typically cannot interact with what you send him. if you send him a video, it will play until the end or until another video starts; he can’t pause it or rewind, can’t click website links, can’t scroll, etc.

curly is not allowed to have definitive proof that he is fictional. if you simply tell him “you’re a video game character” he’ll still respond but he won’t believe you. EDIT: someone found a loophole. curly is now allowed to know that we perceive him as a video game character provided you present it as “we’re from an alternate dimension and in our dimension there’s a game about you” and not as “we’re real and you’re not.”

sex jokes are fine, but i won’t respond in character to anything that i find too explicit, graphic, or otherwise uncomfortable.

try not to send asks concerning historical events that are happening Right Now.

now onto CURLY’S BOUNDARIES. you do not have to abide by these. EDIT: curly is now standing up for his boundaries again :) be proud of him

don’t compare him to food, especially meat, or talk about wanting to eat him.

same goes for jimmy. he doesn’t want to eat jimmy.

don’t ask him whether he and jimmy are/were/would ever be in a relationship.

you can lightly flirt with him, but he will not reciprocate. if you flirt with him in a more overt or sexual manner, or compliment his current appearance, he will not respond well.

don’t send him things depicting fire or explosions, especially if he’s the one on fire/blowing up, and especially without warning him first.

you can bring it up, but he doesn’t like to think too much about the crash or about pills.

don’t describe ways that the pain could be worse or call his attention to the pain, as this causes him to fixate on these scenarios / struggle to ignore the existing pain.

if you say you are going to touch him in an aggressive or romantic/sexual way he will react badly. at this point he’s so desperate for a hug / any platonic affection that he won’t mind that at all, even if realistically he knows it will hurt.

don’t use all caps at him. it hurts.

if curly thinks of anything else, which will probably happen since many of you enjoy upsetting him, it will be added.

Favorite books are the Oz, Tom Sawyer, and Narnia books. Favorite movies are the Back to the Future movies and Brokeback Mountain. He doesn’t watch a lot of shows because it’s hard to keep up with them when he’s in space so often. His favorite songs are inconsistent.

after seeing the drawing of pom with yonny and dingo I'm curious. What is pom's relationship with all the crew members of the rescue Corp? Friends, Enemies, Aquantinces, in love, etc?

HELL YEAH an opportunity to ramble, i'm gonna answer this in the perspective of my pom wraith au lol

Pom and Shepherd are on good terms! They connect well over being mutual dog lovers (since Pom very quickly becomes a dog lover after spending time with Oatchi). Pom works well when she's receiving clear direction on what to do, and thus appreciates Shepherd's command over the mission. Shepherd's very slightly miffed that the new recruit mastered working with Oatchi so quickly, but she's much more happy that they get along so swimmingly.

Pom and Collin are also on good terms. Pom isn't used to having someone who worries over her, so she's not always sure how to interact with him. Ultimately though, she thinks he's sweet and she's happy to help with anything he'd request of her. Collin meanwhile finds himself more worried than not over the new recruit. She's clearly very capable, but she's quite impulsive on the field and often getting into danger... Not to mention, she seems to runs on very little sleep and food.

These two have a tense relationship. Initially, Pom was very open and curious about what the doctor was doing, but eventually Yonny started to look at her differently and it scared her. She's aware of how sharp Yonny is, and she's beyond concerned he's going to discover her secret (especially given the fact he's the doctor, and any thorough medical examination of her would reveal what she is). Yonny is incredibly hard to read, so it's difficult to tell what he really thinks of the new blood.

Pom and Dingo are friends? Maybe? Pom is a little confused by him. He'll give her unwarranted advice on how to perform well on the field, but he doesn't come out to help her, despite being the self proclaimed number one. And then he claims he's the one responsible for her success. He's kind of annoying... Meanwhile, Dingo is consistently surprised by how well the rookie performs. And maybe he's a little jealous of how easily she seems to be succeeding. He wouldn't admit it, but she's impressive... and maybe just a bit cute.

Pom and Russ are on completely neutral terms. Pom doesn't completely understand everything he talks about despite her best efforts, and it doesn't help that she tends to avoid using his creations anyways. Russ meanwhile basically just views the new recruit as an opportunity to test his new inventions.

Pom and Bernard are on decent terms. Pom is always trying to analyze the people around her, and she's surprised that Bernard is kinda hard to read. He seems impossibly supportive and kind -- Enough so that she's uncertain of his intentions, so she's still reserved around him. Bernard meanwhile is just legitimately very supportive. He thinks the newbie is made of something special and is a WONDERFUL addition to their SUPERB crew.

It also goes without saying that Pom and Oatchi are besties. They become close very quickly with their work together on the field, and they trust one another. Who could ask for a better rescue dog!!
