Average fma fan talking about 03 positively: Man, it's such a miracle that the 2003 anime is written even halfway decently! After all, the writers who, as we know, have never written anything in their lives before [citation needed], they had to work while locked in individual underground cells [citation needed], only fed scraps of fma lore by Arakawa herself [citation needed] while her story was actually fully formed by the first printing of her manga in Monthly Shonen Gangan [citation needed] but they were adapting the initial first volume of manga and oopsy-daisy shot past it [citation needed], so they made up every plot beat, character arc, storyboard, and lore change completely on the fly and very randomly [citation needed]. Even though they tried to 1:1 adapt her story [citation needed, contradicted by existing sources], they fumbled the job and butchered her story, characters, and lore. Arakawa sagely forgave them [citation needed]. But somehow it's a cohesive story?! Wow! Even though the story is sad, dark, scares me, makes me cry, violent, gorey, and my fave ships aren't endgame, so -50 demerits. Still, good job team! A treat! Hey, I know I'm a day early for 10/3 but since its the 20th anniversary of fma 03 and I just happened to get back into it in time I thought I'd go all out, so i have 3 videos coming out for 10/2/3/4. This one is for the the 19th anniversary of the last episode!

the fucking train schedule has changed for some goddamn unexplained reason. so i either have to wake up before 6 am and be a full 30 mins early, or need to run across the station within 3 minutes between two crowded trains and still be 10 mins late, or wake up at 6:30 -like ive always done- but arrive 30 mins late now, somehow

Ok yeah double checked that I it doesn't work with the current timeline but I could realistically handwave stuff probably. The thing I'm kind or curious about is when the Kirijo group split off from the Nanjo group. I think the Nanjo group probably started looking into Persona's after the Mikage-cho incident and the Kirijo group would have known through them and then they split off afterwards sometime between 1997-2000 (would have to have been before the ergo lab explosion)

Granted It's entirely possible they were split off before, and the Nanjo group enlisted the help of the Kirijo group to help them look into personas because of their scientific resources.

The big thing, though, especially since I think Nanjo would probably be heading the group at the time, is that 1. I don't think they ever specify, but I chose to believe the Dark Hour is a global phenomenon and something all active persona users at the time would be experiencing, and 2. Nanjo is unable to get involved in any meaningful way due to red tape because the Kirijo group wants as few people as possible to know how badly they fucked this up

Janie wonders how long she'll have to pay for the original Janie's choices but also knows that her knife skills were never anything to write home about so she might as well get over it.

"I wanted to talk with you about possibly starting to talk through a few things tonight, if that's alright with you?" Betsy asks chopping up onions without flinching. Janie was on the other side of the kitchen and her eyes were starting to burn.

"Yeah that's fine." Janie says, "Hit me with your first question Doc." She says because what the hell are you supposed to say to a psychologist who needs to help you overcome something that isn't yours to overcome? Lord now im thinking about that one idea I had a while back of a Pokemon Black and White and TMNT 2012 crossover which is just, the most early 2010s thing.

I just mainly think it would be fun if Hilbert, Hilda, Bianca and Cheren got flung to New York City and don't even really process how it's different from Unova until someone throws out a Pokemon and everyone panics (it would probably be Hilda ngl lol)

Also just the 4 of them watching the Ninja Turtles from the distance fighting something and they have a long passionate debate on what Pokemon they are supposed to be mutated from (cause like, they already have a lot of trauma and one of them has a fucking legendary dragon I don't think it's a huge stretch to think they wouldn't panic too hard at mutants existing)

Also Splinter taking one look at the four of them and instantly goes dad mode like"okay cool I get 4 more children" no questions asked
