Soooo, funny story. @heckitall started a very cool crossover between the Rise and 03 TMNT and I. May have. Immediately became invested.

Like. I was worried for days about one of the characters. Soooo I made some fanart. And then couldn't decide which version I liked best, so I dunno. Here's three! With bonus detail shots under the cut.

It's called 'Same as it Never Will Be' and is linked in their pinned post!

"Little Jacob's Ladder" is an actual Lou Jitsu movie mentioned in the show, but Tapa's bunny sona is added as a reference to the Jacob's Ladder comic

Adagio in Green Tea is obviously referencing Adagio in Green

The "Return of Goo Jitsu" poster includes the goop guy from 2 Arms Left

"Lou Jitsu and the Mystery of Picacho Peak" is a reference to I May Be Invisible, But I Still Look Good

"The Aftermath" is a reference to both Happyfoxx's comic, and starrcrossrose's fic

"Mortal Ninja Midlife Crisis" is referencing Mutant Ninja Midlife Crisis

"True Colors" references v-albion's AU of the same name

There is a drawing of baby Dee, from the Snapper Lou AU

The water bottles labeled "emotional support" are a reference to the Emotional Support Water Bottles series

The "Firefight" poster is referencing the fic of the same name

The "Wanderer" poster is referencing the comic of the same name

Well I have a few! @thedawningofthehour inspired me to actually make my own au and it was the first tmnt fanfic I read that I got super into! Then obviously @tangledinink ‘s well I was going to name a specific au but they have so many and they are all SO GOOD. @spectralsleuth ‘s LSoW is so good and I reread it fairly regularly. And obviously I have to say @heckitall ‘s SAINWB because he knows where I live and if I don’t say he’s my fav he will come for me

So I noticed a few small details with the SAINWB family photo redraw of @heckitall 🤩. Rise Mikey has small cracks at his fingers which we saw in the movie after using his mystic powers. 2k3 baby Donnie has red yes just like the headcanon after his 2nd mutation. Also, is 2k3 Leo kissing the head of baby Rise Leo? At least it seems to me that's what he's doing 😌
