REAL! the gothic genre was created by horace walpole to explore his fear of sexual persecution by a highly surveillant, queerphobic society (signs point towards him being ace). the gothic literally exists to expose the dark underbelly of the culture in which it's written. it's a place to explore real issues of race, gender, sexuality, class, technology, religion, etc. in writing that's accessible to the public. take away the violence, and there's no point.

Hi, I don't usually do this but your artwork of Sirius and Remus in your sketchbook has actually affected me in a way I didn't think possible. Like it's perfect. I could look at it for hours. It's so smooth, the movement of them hugging is so animated. The little inclusion of the David Bowie ticket and the marauders map. I honestly have never seen a piece of fanart like this so much so I was compelled to message you about it.
