She was no scout. No hunter, either. Not even a forest dweller, really. A weird sore thumb among the Veil Jumpers.

She was, though, very versed in magic by now - rift magic specifically, a type that had appeared back in Inquisition times and she'd fought to be allowed to learn in her time with them. Something rare, and dangerous in its impredictability, but decidedly useful when dealing with all the artifacts the Veil Guard had been unearthing these days.

This one... was puzzling her. She'd even written to Bellara, who was now living with the Veilguard - much more of an expert than Isera in all her deep knowledge. The woman had written back several times, and they'd come to the conclusion that what was in their hands was most likely of necromantic nature.

Ancient elvhen necromancy. Hah, Isera had to confess she was excited to know more.

But that also meant that the Veilguard was sending someone else, not Bellara, to look into it. A necromancer of the Mourn Watch.

As Isera waited at the outskirts of the Veil Jumper camp for his arrival, she hoped this necromancer was one of the good humans - she had a feeling he had to be. Right? Or he wouldn't be in good terms with Bellara. Right?

Right.

For a moment, she looked sheepish at being chided. It was earned of course, but she had rushed in because of pure worry.

"Well yes, though I think it's more about you needing it. You are allowed to ask for help, you know." Small and dollish as she was, she did have quite a mother hen look on her. "I was told you were seen rushing back, bleeding. Now I may be the worst scout or hunter to have ever been called a Veil Jumper, but I am pretty good at healing." Isera approached, but waited with hands reaching out, as if expecting permission to actually do something to help.

"That's why we knock, da'len," it was a gentle chide as the mage wrapped the gash across his torso. It was ugly, and resisted the sparse healing he'd attempted on it. So a potion had been spread over split flesh, and gauze was being wrapped around it when she had entered.

"Did you need something?" He continued his task with some awkwardness as he wrapped his torso.
