There are many things you noticed ever since you dated him!

He's caring, lovable, understanding... oh did i mention caring?

Those are only some of the things that you noticed from him

You also noticed that he's very adorable when he gets protective!

The way he protects you isn't what you usually expect though

He does it in a somewhat motherly way,,,

He's really soft and caring when he's worried!

One time, you tripped and fell and bruised your knee

He was so worried that he almost brought every medicine and patch he could get in the drug store

"Uh... I didn't know what was more effective and what wasn't. So i kinda bought everything. Um does this work?"

He brought up one of the few ointments he bought to try and see it was helpful

He also did the best he could to cover up your school skirt by using one of his jackets as he treats your wound

You couldn't stop chuckling because of the way he acted

He was so cute!

Meanwhile, Makoto is worried and confused because of your chuckles

"You're so cute, Makoto!" You giggled, kissing him on the cheek, "But I'm fine now! Thank you!"

Nagito Komaeda SongFic - Friendly Neighborhood Poltergeist

yeah so um this kinda sucks but the song was stuck in my head for awhile so </3

Nagito Komaeda, once known as the ultimate lucky student from Hope’s Peak Academy, died unknowingly. Now, his ghost is stuck in the house you reside in. A house that was thought to be haunted, but you have no place to live in and it’s the cheapest so you decided to buy it. So far, so good. You haven’t encountered any ‘ghost’ yet and thought that you were lucky. You didn’t know that the ghost, Nagito, slowly fell for you. He was always following you around the house, except when you go the bathroom, like a lost dog. He knows he doesn’t deserve someone like you, especially for a ghost like him. Nonetheless, he still tries to at least get you to notice him, leaving subtle “I love you”s on your alphabet soup or on your computer. You did notice, and thought it was cute and just a coincidence. He never tries to directly contact you, afraid that his bad luck might affect you in some way. Bad move for him though, because as much as he wants you cuddled up in his arms, being all lovey-dovey, he wants you to be happy... Even if that means watching you cuddled up in a reserve course student’s arms.

Months had pass and you noticed that you’re encountering a lot of supernatural happenings. You were scared, but you can’t buy another house nor do you wanna be a bother to others. Nagito, on the other hand, didn’t mean to do those. It was his bad luck. He sighed when you didn’t come home for days. Hajime apparently invited you to stay at his place for a while. Of course, who wouldn’t be scared with the lights so close to exploding? “I deserve it...” He sighed, walking out to the backyard, where his physical body rots. He was somewhat scared as he thought you might decide and drive the ghost away. He doesn’t wanna leave you, even if he knows he doesn’t deserve to be near you.

I'm used to being see-through but it

Feels so bad when it happens with you

When you got back, the house was clean, thanks to Nagito. You didn’t notice it though, you thought you left it like that. He also left you love letters and flowers, hoping to get your attention. Unfortunately, you thought it was all Hajime's doing... He’s used to it. At least that’s what he tells himself. Deep down, he knows he isn’t. He wishes that he was still corporeal. Even if people looked down on him due to his hope rants, at least people still noticed him. What hurts the most is that he fell for you, hard, but you don’t even know he existed. You only know him as a ghost.

“I've been spelling my name in your lego bricks

I don't know how to be more obvious

You're close enough to almost touch but not close enough to hold

Been tryna make my move

But that dude keeps stealing you

He wants you to notice him, to know he exists. Selfish as it might sound, he started leaving his name around, hoping you’d at least ask Hajime if he knows anyone who’s named Nagito. But you were oblivious. Oblivious to the clues he keeps on leaving and to the touches he gives you that you thought it was only the wind. He sighed, once again, knowing he could never hold you like how Hajime does.

“When it's just only ever gonna end with my demise

I don't wanna die twice

It wasn't very fun the first time

I don't know why I try

This rejection gonna be feeling cold as ice”

Supernatural things keep on happening, thanks to his bad luck. Hajime suggested to call professionals to get rid of the ghosts and to keep you safe. Nagito hoped you wouldn’t agree. He knows he doesn’t deserve to stay but... he doesn’t want to leave you, even if it hurts seeing you with Hajime. But alas, you did.

Oh, the despair he felt when he learned that.

For the last time, he sighed, looking at straight at you. You saw him for a split second, feeling confused as you have no idea on who he is but... you felt something you can't put your finger on. Perhaps, guilt? He noticed you looking at his direction. He looked back to see if you were looking at something else, afterwards realizing that you were looking at him. He smiled, not knowing what to feel as he’s finally noticed by the one he loves so dearly. His smiled faltered a bit, realizing that it was also the last time you’ll notice him.

“Nagito?” You heard Hajime muttered. You stared at the ghost known as ‘Nagito’, seeing the pain behind his smile as he slowly disappears into nothingness.

With the last of his strength, he whispered the words “I love you, my hope.”

I'm also not a fan of thunderstorms </3 they're just,, so loud,,

He really doesn't mind thunderstorms, but he's somewhat afraid that his luck might cause chaos

When you decided to chill out at his place, u didn’t expect thunderstorms to come around so u decided to stay the night

Nagito,, tried to get as far from u as possible bc he’s afraid of his luck might affect u along with the the storm

But at the same time, he can’t just leave u! that will be so despairing, especially since u need him now the most

And so he gave in, he tried his best to distract you from the storm outside by putting on some movies!

He also made a pillow fort! Tho it took a while as he keeps failing,, but u didn’t mind!

You ended up cuddling him, hiding ur face in his chest whenever you heard the thunder or see the lightning strike

He also hugs you tighter because of it!

He whispers compliments to you while rubbing your back gently, saying it's gonna be okay and that the storm is gonna pass

You both fell asleep like that, inside the pillow fort with food scattered around while the movie plays as the storm subsided <3

Hajime

You shivered as you felt the fear upon you. "BABE!!! COME HERE PLEASE!!!" You shouted as you crawl to the corner end of the bed, ready to jump away if the spider reached you. "BABE!! PLEASE!! COME QUICKLY!!!!" You tried to find something to smack it with, so you decided to grab the bedside lamp.

After school, you and Hajime decided to chill in his house. And so here you were, scrolling through your phone, laying on his bed while waiting for him. He's currently cooking food for the both of you after a tiring day at school.

You were just humming a tune, feeling happy because it has been a while since you both hang out! But that happiness has come to a stop due to a predicament...

There was a spider. Near the door and nearing the bed.

Hajime barged into the room, holding a pan, ready to smack the living shit out of someone. "Babe, I'm here. What's wrong? What happened? Is there a burglar or something? Are you okay?" He bombarded you with questions, slightly panicking. "THE-THERES A-A SPIDER O-OVER THERE..!" You managed to stutter out as you pointed the lamp, that you were holding, towards the spider.

He looked at where you were pointing and sighed. "I thought it was something serious! Don't worry babe, I'll go get a cup and try to get it out," He chuckled as he attempted to go get a cup. "NO! PLEASE STAY! IT'S COMING TOWARDS ME! KILL IT RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!" He scratched his head and then just nodded in response. He was gripping on the pan so that he can hit and kill the spider right away.

He slowly approached it, looking at you seriously. 'Are you ready?' He mouthed in which you nodded. He was about to hit it but then it jumped on his shoulder which made him scream and jumped up and down. You also screamed and hid yourself in the blankets.

The spider left without either of you noticing while the both of you kept on screaming and panicking. 

Nagito

It was just a normal day, or so you thought.

You were preparing yourself as you've got a date somewhere with your boyfriend, Nagito. It's been a while since you both hang out like this, since you've both been busy with things.

'Huh, Nagito's pretty early today,' You thought as you heard him calling your name outside, followed by a knock.

"I missed you so much, my love!" He immediately greeted once you opened the door. "I missed you too, Nagito! But um, can you wait for a bit? I'm a little slow when it comes to preparing," You chuckled, inviting him inside. "Ah, sorry, my hope! I shouldn't have gone early... I'm sorry you have to rush yourself for a sc-" "Nonono, baby, don't finish that sentence! I love you, alright? And I really don't mind that you're early!" You hugged him, "Now, I'll be quick, alright? Go make yourself at home!"

You quickly ran up to your room and did your thing. After you finished, you looked at yourself in the mirror, checking if you forgot something. You were supposed to grab your purse/bag on your bed until you saw it. A spider. A big one too.

You were stuck in place, afraid to move as if you did, it might run towards you, and you're definitely not dealing with that! IT'S ALREADY MOVING SLOWLY TOWARDS YOU OH GOD

So you thought of something that might help you. "N-NAGITO!!!!!!" You cried loudly, hoping he would be able to help you with this 'problem'. You heard shuffling and falling (?) when your loving boyfriend finally burst through the door.

"My hope? Are you okay? Are you hurt? What happened?" He immediately ran towards you and holds you, seeing your scared, semi-frozen state. "I-i'm fine... It's just that... S-spider..." You stuttered, eyes never leaving the unwanted insect that lays on your purse/bag.

Nagito followed your line of sight, chuckling as he scooped the spider with his bare hands... HE SCOOPED THE SPIDER WITH HIS BARE HANDS? WHAT?

"You mean this little guy?"

You watched as he set the spider out through your window, the smile never leaving his beautiful face. "Well, it's gone now, my hope! Ah, I'm gonna go wash my hands..."

"Please... How the hell did you manage to hold that spider?" You leaned on the doorway of the bathroom, watching Nagito wash his hands as he smiled at you softly through the mirror. "I don't really know, S/O, but it's gone now! You don't have to worry about it anymore! Ah, do you want me to wash your purse/bag as well?"

"O-oh! No need, babe! Anyways, are you ready for the date? I think we should just go and leave this house... Maybe more spiders reside somewhere... here..." You shivered at the thought as Nagito held your hand (with his now clean hands), leading you outside your house.

Needless to say, despite that spider incident, all went well with your date!

Fuyuhiko

It was the day of your anniversary. You and Fuyuhiko thought to go have dinner on his private yacht. Well, it was his idea to do it on his yacht while you only wanted to have dinner on a fancy restaurant or something. He said that he'll pick you up at night. So you prepared yourself. You wore the the best clothes that you had and made sure you smelled expensive.

It was almost time for him to come and as if on cue, the doorbell rang when you finished. You were about to answer but you completely forgot fixing you hair so you went in front of the mirror and was about to fix it. But you were stuck frozen upon what you saw...

There's a spider. Right in front of you. On the mirror.

You couldn't move because of fear and could only shout for Fuyuhiko. "B-BABE!!! FUYU!!! PLEASE COME INSIDE A-AND COME UPSTAIRS!!! RIGHT NOW!!" You shouted as loud as you could while being stuck in place, looking at the spider while it also probably looks back straight at you.

You heard loud and fast footsteps coming from your back and shouting. "S/O?! S/O?! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU?!" "I-INSIDE M-MY RO-OM!! PLEASE HURRY!!!" Fuyuhiko then rushes towards your room then holds both of your shoulders. He then dragged you backwards outside of your room and took cover while holding out a gun. Where'd he get that, no one will know ig

He then whistled to which made Peko dash inside your room to scan the room.  "Are you okay? What happened? Did someone tried to kidnap you? Or assassinate you? Tell me who it was." Fuyuhiko bombarded you with questions while you try to process what's happening. You were still shocked and afraid because of one event after the other. You took a deep breath and tried to remain calm. You then explained to him what happened.

He burst into fits of laughter because of it.

"Are you shitting me? A fucking spider? C'mon S/O, it's just a little bug. Why are you afraid of it?" He continued laughing while you pouted. "Fuck you! Some people are afraid of them, okay?! I know I'm not the only one!" You defended yourself while he kept on laughing.

As you scolded and continued shouting at your boyfriend, Peko then came out, holding her sword, staring at it and not paying attention to the both of you. You were both confused because of how she was behaving. "Um... Peko? What happened?" She suddenly snapped out of it and looked at Fuyu and you. "Oh, young master. There were no threats at the area. I scouted them just like what you said."  

"Oh, it's fine, Peko. It was a misunderstanding, you see S/O here was ac-" he was about to chuckle when he suddenly saw a spider at the tip of Peko's sword. He was completely frozen and couldn't finish his sentence. "P-peko? Wha-what the f-fuck is tha-that?"

"Oh this? I saw it on the mirror. I thought it was cute so I tried to catch it, but to my surprise, it actually went and jumped on my sword."

"Co-cool, can you uh. Please make it go away now. Like right now. Now, now. Now!" You were confused as to why Fuyu was acting this way when you realize something. "Peko, can you please come here for a sec? I wanna ask you something..." Even though you were scared shitless, you still tried to remain calm. Fuyu then looked at you then at Peko with terror in his eyes. He slowly backed away as Peko approached both of you. As she approached you, the spider suddenly jumped off the sword and came running towards you. You were about to scream when you felt a sudden tug on your wrist. You looked at who was pulling you and saw Fuyu running for his life and shouting "PEKO!!! PLEASE MAKE IT FUCKING STAY AWAAAYYYY!!!!!"

The both of you rushed towards the car while Peko was confused, holding the spider due to what happened. Though it became a disaster, the date went well but you kept on teasing Fuyu the whole night and Peko made a new pet! You and Fuyuhiko wasn't fond of him though but if it makes her happy then you both let her be.
