If you're dealing with a parents divorce, foreclosure, moving, or the loss of a loved one...
So tonight i'm going to share something that has taken me awhile to over come, and it is personal. But one reason for making this blog was to help others get through tough times, just like i did. So for the past 3 years (Yes 3 years!) I've been dealing with my parents horrible divorce, our home going into foreclosure, loosing touch with most of my friends due to joining online school, my first horse passing away, and my dad (my best friend) moving out of state. It's been a rough road to say the least. I decided to share this tonight because someone asked me about our old home (that's just now going into foreclosure) asking what happened to it.. Usually i'd make up some story saying we sold it and the next people lost it. But i've decided that i don't need to be ashamed of it anymore. Things happen. It was all apart of God's plan for me and my family, it has made me a stronger person and taught me to not take things for granted. I told her the truth, and as heartbreaking as it was for me to loose my home it felt good to not lie about it. The point of this story was to let anyone who's dealing with any of these things know...It does get easier. You will get through it. I can't say it will be easy or fun, but just make the best out of it. Think positive. And as always, i'm here if you'd like to talk to someone who's been through it and still going through it.
Most importantly pray about it. Just when you feel like you have no one to talk to or "vent" to, remember that the good Lord above us always has a listening ear for ya.

Didn't feel like working out since i was already drenched in sweat from working the horses, but i made myself at least walk a mile. And i'm glad i did! If you walk/run/bike you should definitely get this app! It's charity miles. Make a difference in someone else's life as you're changing yours. :)

A friend and I rescued this guy from being sent to the auction (where more than likely he would have been bought by a meat buyer). He has been sitting in a pasture for 3 years and did AMAZING tonight. It was only our second ride together so we're still figuring each other out but i couldn't have asked him to do any better. Just goes to show that you don't have to spend thousands to get a great horse. Rescues may take a little more time to get where they need to be training wise, but you can tell how grateful he is. He's just comfortable there, and knows he's loved. :) Such a great ending to a sad story.

I'm backkkkkkkk!
So i'm sure by looking at my blog you can tell i've been a bit absent lately. I've been splurging like cRaZy :( But i'm as of this morning i'm back at it. This holiday weekend/week really got me off track. Buuuut i did have a wonderful much needed weekend with my friends and family so i do believe that it was worth it. Although i am going to have to start making myself eat healthy even when i'm away from home because....I'M GOING TO CANADA! For a whole month! My family lives in Nova Scotia, and i haven't seen them in 5 years! Woah.
So needless to say I travel A LOT and I looovvvee it! As i find new creative ways to stay healthy on the road while traveling i'll be sharing my ideas. :)
Also if you're from NS. and have any ideas on cool things to do while i'm up there feel free to leave them in the comments!

So yesterday my horses got their teeth floated! Let's just say it was a longgggg day, and i did skip workout. BUT in my favor, you try having to keep your 2,500lbs percheron up because he's such a light weight with the anesthesia and wants nothing but to lay down. Hahaha.

Ways i keep myself motivated to drink water and NOT drink sodas: I get cute water bottles. :) I love using re-usable bottles, 1 to help the environment, and 2 they're easy to fill and go! I bought this cute little environmental friendly thing at Meijer tonight. Oh, and don't mind Miss. Photobomber Izzie. ;) #stayhydrated!

Tonight's dinner:
Turkey burger with mustard, and lettuce instead of a bun. It tastes much better than it looks, i promise! A handful of yellow tomatoes, and a asparagus. :)

Tried out some new mascara, it's.....ORGANIC! So i had to try it! So far i like it! It doesn't "cake" on like most mascaras do, and it doesn't make your lashes brittle either. :)

Please keep all of the workers and their families in your prayers tonight! 4 men from my dads crew were there, thankfully only minor injuries to them. But many more were severely injured and some even killed. My dad was supposed to be there, but was postponed for two weeks. It was such a God thing that he didn't go. Praising the good Lord tonight that I still have my dad!
