Matlock??

The reboot! Well, it’s not really a reboot, more like a sequel series. It doesn’t have a lot in common with the original Matlock. Mostly Madalyn Matlock just borrows the name Matlock to go undercover with.

“Got all caught up on Matlock and I was excited for the new episode tonight. Only, get this, THERE ISN’T ONE! Because of March Madness! Freakin’ March Madness.”

“And no, I’m not allowed to make any bets on the brackets either.” 😔

“I don’t usually do that whole “hyperfixation” thing Alvin talks about much, but this new Matlock show with Kathy Bates has got me GLUED to the screen.”

“I’m on a binge, people! And watch out, because I have THEORIES about the show’s overarching mystery!”

“Then, I’ve got a fanfic to catch up reading.”

“Anyway, the Valentine’s Day bake sale went great last Friday! And the Home Ec teacher was absent today and I got to fill in for her because nobody could coordinate a sub in time. That was fun! What wasn’t fun was filling in for the janitor too.”

“Everyone is out with the flu. If my family catches it again, I’ll go mad.”

“Alvin then pointed out that Call Me is the name of a song by Blondie and proceeded to sing that song on repeat the entire time we poked rhinestones onto the sticky stuff.” 🙄😂

“They had two Diamond Dots painting sessions this month. Isn’t that amazing? I hope they do two every month.”

“I got to make a pink heart that was ACTUALLY meant to be pink this time around. Thank GOODNESS! I’m pleased.”

“IT’S SO SPARKLY! It inspires me! I think I’ll make the gems on my February birthstone gown HEART shaped!”

“For Family Game Night this week, we all played a trivia game about wacky inventions. Alvin and I won!”

“I currently don’t have any Saturday night plans, but I’m volunteering today at the local library to help with their used book sale!”

Eleanor cooked everyone up a mystery dish to try while blindfolded.

This is inspired by the webshow Good Mythical Morning. Alvin even says Link’s signature catchphrase.

I’m proud of how this came out, even though I rushed and my brain’s in a mode where all it can focus on are all the tiny mistakes.

Anyway, busy day again today! Hope to have more art and a chapter of the multi chapter fic to post soon.
