And One didn't die for them to forget Cameca.
was thinking about the nine/jack/rose love triangle and about how, unlike most love triangles, it is actually three-sided. It's not a "two men in love with the same girl" triangle, it's a "two men are in love with each other and also the girl" triangle except it's not. because it has more vertices when you include mickey. which ends up looking like this:
it's a love pentagon. (side note: if you ship Martha x jack, mickey x the doctor and jack x mickey, it becomes a love pentagram) but let's make this more interesting. What if I included every love interest I could think of? Well. I present to you:
the great doctor who love web.

I love your art, but for the Doctors set may I make a small request? I know you've done companions from the audios before so can I ask for the Unbound Doctor played by David Warner? He ended up in the 'main/canon' universe in the Benny audios so it'd be nice to see him with all those Doctors.
Yes, I can indeed draw the Unbound Doctor. Here he is:
If you'd like to buy something from my shop with him on it (with or without other Doctors), let me know and I'll sort it out.
(And a reminder to other readers: drawing requests can be sent this way, and I'll see what I can do, time/energy depending!)

It's seasonal self-promotion time! (Sorry, but it is the time of year when you may be looking for gifts for people – or yourself.)
The Doctor Who department of my Redbubble shop has been updated to include the lovely 15th Doctor and Ruby Sunday on a range of items, including mugs, shirts, stickers and cards.
There are also two multi-Doctor designs, one featuring Doctors 1 to 15 inclusive, and one featuring the same PLUS the Fugitive, Shalka, War and Metacrisis Doctors to make a crowd of 19.

I'm up to the "I dunno maybe children working 13 hour shifts is bad, guys" part of Capital and it feels important to inform people that haven't read it yet that capitalists in the 19th century were not by any means wringing their hands and twirling their mustaches about employing children to squeeze out profits, they were hiring "experts" to write newspaper articles for them, explaining how "well, the socialists have these big demands about an 8-hour work day, and taking Saturdays off, but it's actually just so complicated, it's too complicated for most people to understand, we just NEED to hire children for night shifts because the stamina of their strong, youthful bodies is the only way we can survive as a business! It's science, you see. Economics doesn't work like that, just ask our economics professors at Oxford. You CAN'T turn a profit only working people 8 hours! Trust the experts, they know. It's just so complicated..."
That exact infuriating cadence that you read in New York Times articles, in the Atlantic Monthly, in the WaPo and all the other bourgeois rags where "everything is so complicated, and it's actually a lot more complicated than you think.." that has been around since the beginning. It is nothing new. So the next time you see some op-ed from Matt Yglesias or any of those other guys huffing their own farts about how "complicated" everything is, and how "unrealistic" a 30-hour work week is, remember that Marx was dealing with that exact class of "intellectuals" "explaining" how working 13 hours at age 10 was "vital" to the "moral fibre" of those poor kids.

This letter was written by the Fourth Doctor, included with K9 Mark III as seen in K9 and Company; this was most likely the last piece of communication the two had with each other until School Reunion.

So while I was getting my haircut, the lady asked me if I had other plans for the day and I said:
“I’m just going to pick up the boy from daycare and then it’s date night.”
And the lady says “Oh! How old is he?”
“He’s three.”
“Mine too! Where are you registering him for kindergarten it’s such a hassle-”
And that’s when I realized I said “boy” and not “dog” because I always think of Charlie as “good boy” but this slip up has lead to a miscommunication.
The lady is now 6 minutes into a clearly needed rant about how unnecessarily complex shopping for schools is, esp when you have a neurodivergent child, so I can’t just tell her that Charlie is a dog because then she’ll feel awkward for unloading on me and she clearly has enough going on.
So the rest of the haircut became a game of “how much can I say about Charlie without revealing that he is not a human child?” And the answer is “enough to cover a half hour hair appointment, quite possibly several hours worth if I’m specific enough”

Sky News has been caught in a storm over it’s deleting and then re-editing of a report on the Maccabi Tel Aviv fan’s rioting in Amsterdam. However, the original filmmaker who captured some of the footage it used has now come forward – and claims that it, and other media outlets, misrepresented it to shore up the narrative that the attacks were antisemitic.

Hey Aussies, do you want your real name and ID slapped on your tumblr account? If the answer is fuck no, our gov’s got a upcoming legislation for banning 16 year olds and under from social media even WITH parental consent. And by “Social Media”…
The code defines social media as electronic services that meet the following conditions:
The sole or primary purpose of the service is to enable online social interaction between two or more end users
The service allows end users to link to, or interact with, some or all other end users
The service allows end users to post material on the service
Such other conditions (if any) as are set out in the legislative rules.
So. You know. Just the entire fucking internet. They even named youtube as banned, god forbid kids out in the bush get access to LGBTQ+ communities online when they could be watching adds for sportsbet.
I am 100 per cent supportive of eliminating bullying and fake information from online platforms. The easiest way to do that is to be able to utilise existing laws, and the easiest way to do that is to ensure there are no fake accounts. Your digital, online life is your real life. If you want to make comments, that's fine, but it should be as you, as a verified account. This means everyone knows who it is that makes those comments, that you can be found and prosecuted under existing laws, just as you would if you express those opinions in a newspaper, for example, or you went on to a television station and said something similar.
Contact an Aussie senator about this shit. They’re trying to slide it under all the USpol news.
#Australia#politics#AusPol#fuck this goivernment#they're practically as bad as the Liberal party at this point#(which is our conservative party my non-Aussie friends)

I usually only reblog these on my One or Seven sideblogs. But I absolutely loved Psi and wish he returned and can't stand Nardole. So I'm hoping I can make a difference here.
