#let me see if i can break this down simply enough that someone who thinks adding links to a post is labor can understand#first of all when people make these gifs we generally link back to the source video#and if you don't credit a gif when you use it you're also not crediting the video's creator which is a dick move#second of all sometimes people make gifs of their own videos that they recorded. in which case they actually DO own the gifs#third of all this attitude is so entitled and rude?#you want to use these gifs but you don't respect anyone involved in the process of their creation? that's really weird#“it's not hard” neither is crediting!!! sheesh
