I had a dream yesterday where my window was covered in cobwebs, dirt, dead bugs, and dead spiders (wtf killed them?). I removed the part that you slide to open the window, put it aside to clean it later, then looked at the rest of the window considering how I would clean it with my fear of arthropods.

Meanwhile, in real life, a crap ton of tiny baby spiders where becoming old enough to start making webs around my room. I actually entirely forgot about this dream until I saw what looked like a bit of dirt on my left computer monitor then quickly realized it was actually a spider making a web between my curtain and a boom arm. I then remembered the dream, started writing the dream, then paused to check my window and saw a web and quite a few equally small spiders under my aroace flag. I later saw another tiny spider making a web between my other monitor and a different part of the same boom arm. Then another making a web between a shelf and one of my crochet projects! I hate that baby! Then eventually I saw a really big (for Canada) spider or daddy long legs! I'm guessing it was a spider considering how many baby spiders there were and the fact that I can't remember what daddy long legs look like. I was too scared to do anything about it and it ended up crawling under my carpet.

I had a dream where my mom woke me up to give me my pills and said that she was concerned because I slept for about 15 hours several times in a row. Then I was about to fall asleep again. I have this dumb issue irl where if I fall asleep, I will likely sleep somewhere between 6 and 18 hours no mattsr how many alarms there are, and even if I JUST slept! But jokes on her! I only slept for 6 hours this time!

I kind of had a lucid dream and forgot until hours later when I was watching a video on lucid dreaming.

I was in Minecraft and there were several nether portals floating in the foggy void of the basalt deltas. There was no terrain in site. Only some cobblestone bridges. I tried using my brain to teleport into one of the portals so I could go into the overworld. It was taking too long so I tried closing my eyes then I was in the overworld when I opened them back up. I didn't have any goals or ideas on what to do, so I quickly lost lucidity. The video I was watching mentioned eating, so maybe I should do that.

I was trapped in a dream and couldn't turn my alarm off!

I was hearing my alarm in real life, but instead of waking me up, I was hearing it in my dream where I was convinced that I was awake and couldn't turn it off no matter what I did! I tried restarting or powering off my phone, but the buttons to do so were missing! I tried breaking my phone, but it was too strong (or I was too weak). I tried knocking myself out, but that wasn't working either. Also, isn't pinching yourself a method people use to wake up? Or is that just a reality check? Anyway, I eventually got confused about the source of the sound and thought it was coming from a Minecraft boat. I then decided to ride it into the middle of nowhere, leave it there, then use another boat to get back. But I couldn't find the extra boat I was planning on using! While I was looking for it, I came by a living room where ImpulseSV and some lady with light blue hair were sitting. As I got close enough to hear them, Impulse was talking about how he apparently moved from somewhere else to Arizona for “no reason! :)” and was about to move to England for the same reason. He said he should be mid-flight from Monday through Wednesday or something like that. That's a long flight. I asked them if they were hearing that sound that's been bothering me, and they said no! Eventually my mom woke me up, and it felt like I was saved! Then I removed that sound from my alarm because I never want to hear it again!

I kind of had a bit of a lucid dream for the first time ever. I was staying at a “hospital”, and by that I mean I was lying in a bed in a public large room full of beds. Every now and then, I would go to a little computer lab to the side and play the Sims. Another person there was more sick than me, but for some reason it was harder for her to access the computers. She had to climb a ladder, and even then, there was no clear route towards the computer that was assigned to her. Eventually, I learned that she was an actor in a play that performs for the hospital and apparently this was supposed to be “VIP premium computer access”. What do you mean? I'm just some random person, and I had a much easier time accessing the computers!

Eventually I had to be discharged because I "wasn't deaf anymore" (which that explanation confused me because I didn't recall being deaf), so I put my sims save onto an external hard drive, left, and somehow ended up staying at a place that had a crap ton of dogs. Like, A LOT of dogs! Most of the dogs were normal, but one dog (a dalmatian) couldn't decide if it wanted to be a weird handheld toy that looked like a dog or an actual dog, one dog was walking on two legs and this one cat was talking like a demon. It was really weird.

At one point I was watching a TV when I thought “I really hope the dude in charge of this place won't appear and start yelling at us”. Then he appeared and started yelling at us. Then I thought “please don't start popping out of the TV” and he started doing that too. So then I thought “hang on! This is a dream!” So I became slightly lucid, changed the channel, accidentally made a flower bloom, then didn't get to do much more before I “woke up” still in the dream but thought I wasn't dreaming anymore and therefore lost my lucidity.

I noticed that on a shelf in the room I woke up in, there was an incense that didn't have a holder and was getting sparks all over a nearby box. I didn't want a fire to start, so I started looking for an incense holder in a messy storage space that was in this guest room. I found something that looked like the shape of an incense holder on the top of a shelf, then didn't notice until I grabbed it that it was some sort of guitar-like instrument with really thick strings. I wanted to know how it sounded, but could only try it out for a second before someone doing office work in the room told me not to.

Eyes are oranges

This video just caused me to remember a dream I had where my left eyeball was not attached to my brain and was instead in my hand. It was squishy like a mandarin orange, and I was scared that I would squish it too much in the process of putting it back in my socket. It also didn't look like an eye. It was just an orange.

I had a dream where I noticed that that really thin short hair above my right eyebrow was in a line going to my hairline. Then I noticed that it was actually more like normal hair. Then I noticed that there was actually a ton of really long hair in the center of my forehead. And each time there was a change, I forgot that it was different a second ago and was just like “I never noticed this before.”

I had a dream where I was looking at how my productivity blanket (a crochet project where I will crochet a row for each day of the year and the colour of each row depends on how productive I was/felt that day) looks so far, and wasn't happy with how the black yarn I used was way too big in comparison to the rest of the yarn. That's it. It's just the situation my productivity blanket is in in real life while I wait for hopefully-better yarn to arrive. I'm going to try Feels Like Butta from Lion Brand, and if I'm not happy with that, I'll just use Caron Simply Soft.

Barbie and the Nutcracker was too different in my dream last night. The prince was human the whole time and he, Barbie, gingerbread boy and peppermint girl went on an adventure through a forest in autumn. The prince had to wear a different outfit than usual, and I woke up hyperventilating.

I couldn't remember how to knit, and I don't think I was even knitting correctly during the brief time I did knit 10 years ago, but I had a dream last night where I was knitting almost correctly according to a tutorial I watched after waking up. I was just inserting the needle into the wrong side of the stitches. Though maybe that might be an actual method of knitting. I don't know.

Some dreams I had just now:

I had a gun, and people with guns were standing at the door threatening to kill us but not and really just waiting for me to kill them, so I killed them. I had to make sure the gun was unlocked first.

A pair of old copper scissors had a built-in lock on them (like a gun), which was pretty cool. I think they were used in a mission to kill someone.

YouTube apparently existed and had videos in 2001, and I was trying to learn more while simultaneously having to kill the creators of YouTube.

There were a bunch of moodlets in the Sims 3 that I had never seen before and seemed more like Sims 2 memories and some of them weren't even activated for this sim and shouldn't have been listed. And there were so many that the actual moodlets that I wanted to look at weren't listed. I eventually realized that there were three tabs on the top of this part of the UI; all, moodlets, and other thing. I guess I had the tab for the other thing selected so that's why I couldn't see any moodlets. Also, I think this sim killed another sim and that's why I wanted to look at their moodlets.

I had a dream where I was eating in a fancy restaurant that had private areas with curtains. I was tasked to catch fish from a fish tank, but I couldn't find a fish tank. I thought I was supposed to buy one and place it there, but eventually I realized that there was one right there and it just blended in because it looked like a decoration. I had a fishing rod that attracted a pickle fish (it was literally a vertically sliced pickle) like a magnet, but I couldn't figure out how to attach it to the rod because it was apparently already dead. Someone was cheering me on while I tried to find a way to hook onto the fish. I eventually noticed that it had herbivore teeth to hook onto so everything was fine.

I bought carrot muffins yesterday, then had a dream where I ate all of them in one sitting.

I had a dream last night where my mom was like "I miss when you beat people up as a teenager." Then when I said I didn't do that, my older sibling was like "wtf is wrong with your memory? You did it all the time!" I fully believed them for some reason, and was trying to figure out why I had no memory of beating people up.

Meanwhile, TommyInnit wanted to kill his girlfriend because he found her annoying. I'm pretty sure it was extremely small things that he was finding annoying too.

I dreamed last night that I found a guitar with a whammy bar and tried playing Steve Vai's part of Ego Death by Polyphia on it. It sounded surprisingly good considering the fact that I don't know how to play guitar. But there was a really big gap between strums because obviously that was the case when I was trying to learn guitar 2 years ago and my subconscious remembered that. It's interesting how things you don't have experience in are easy in dreams, and things you do have experience in are hard.

Last night I had a dream where I was setting my alarms before bed, but all of the alarms that were around 8 hours from then were missing. All of the alarms would go off in 44 minutes or in 1 day and 44 minutes. In the background, people from another dream that I can't remember were talking.

The night before 05/07/2023, I had I dream where I bought a pillow with a similar feel to styrofoam, and learned from a video that it might potentially be toxic to cats. I was worried because one of my cats, Toby, had already touched it, but my styrofoam pillow was from a different company than the one in the video. So I tried checking the ingredients on the packaging (basically a hair dye box) for chocolate, minoxidil, and cat-killer (which for some reason that existed in this world), but couldn’t read. So I had no way of knowing if I should take Toby to the vet or not.
