Update 4/14

The rounds are getting so long, ha. My wrist is still a touch sore from yesterday; the last green round was very fiddly and cotton doesn't have a lot of give.

Did end up using up a bunch of skeins at this point. Played yarn chicken with one (I won that round) and then had to splice one together mid-round (I only got like 1/3 of the way around with the final bit of the skein.

Doing a lot of squinting and counting and hoping I'll have enough yarn (I think I will). I did get excited when I finished the pattern page I was on (the brown row on the outside) and thought I was nearly done. Nope; 20 more rows to go! 🤣

Just finished the first third or so of the Arcanoweave pattern part 4 and it's just so pretty.

I think the way the author wrote this pattern and then added pictures of the project overlayed with a partial crochet chart might have accidentally taught me how to read crochet charts

Oh boy I wish I wrote down what I was doing as I made this cause I don't remember how I did this at all! I already gave the hat away and this is the only pic I took of it.

Don't do what I did, if your making a pattern write down everything you do. Even if you change the pattern you'll at least have something to work with.

This was made a year or two ago, it's a little old.
