Oh also because I completely forgot to share, here’s the finished Sebastian plush!!

He has:

Magnets in his hands for posing + when I eventually make him props to hold

An actual scar in the fabric for his y-shaped incision scar, that I made by actually cutting him open and sewing him back up (under cut)

Sewn on gills (under cut)

He is about 18 inches long (three times the size of my last plush) and sewn entirely by hand, not a single sewing machine or glue was used for this

I am so very happy with how he turned out, even if I definitely had to trust the process a lot, haha. Will probably be making him other outfits soon too!

Found out you can make a simple quilt out of hexagons? And the hexagons are so easy to make you don't actually have to think about it? So it's an easy, repetitive task that's also just meticulous enough to keep me engaged without being stressful? New side project Unlocked 🔓 😎

I keep forgetting to post this. I got the first row done on my EPP quilt before my neuropathy got too bad. We'll see if I can get this figured out so I can hand sew again and finish this bad boy!

I had one more Furby idea to "get out of my system" for the moment.

My pair of gloves recently got kinda wrecked and unwearable in the wash, so I repurposed them as an octopus-like Furby. It's an idea I've had for a while, but avoided due to complicated leg design, but the glove fingers worked as legs perfectly, and so much easier!

Not quite an octopus, but more of a decapus with ten legs.

Here's .·₊˚₊·*☆ Decapod ☆*·₊˚₊·. A straight-forward name that means ten-legged, but I thought it sounded cool :]
