<|:^] ˚₊·. I learned a lot of new crochet stitches recently, and as I was making swatches, I decided to make them into a sweater! The way it all came together reminds me of roots or mycelium.‧₊˚𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊.࿐༄࿔.₊˚‧₊.

When I wasn't practicing a new stitch, I used a large crochet hook to create looser stitches make it look more like intertwined roots and filaments. I also used a knitting loom to make flowy bell sleeves (the loose tension was unintentional at first, I was still learning that as well).

I used two types of yarn: a dainty, mottled light grey, and a soft, whispy, multicoloured yarn that has a range of light grey to brown. This is the second sweater I've made, and I think I've made progress since last time! ଘ(୨୧ᵕᴗᵕ) .₊˚𓍊𓋼𓍊.₊✩༶⋆

I crocheted him over the holiday season, he’s kind of inspired by Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy.

I gave his outfit plenty of ruffles and stripes to make sure it’s sufficiently clownish. I used some puffy yarn for his hair, made a yarn pompom for his hat, and added some bows and funky buttons to his clothes.

I’m really happy with how cheeky his expression turned out, I think he’s definitely my most mischievous-looking clown ( • ̀ω•́ ).✧⊹.°˖

Some more additions to my crocheted blanket. I often like to pick a few yarn colours to work with and use up at a time, I was mainly using cooler earth tones and neutrals with these.

It’s been a while since I posted some progress on my current crocheted blanket. I hadn’t felt like working on it for a while, so I took a break from it.

But recently I was able to add plenty of new sections to it. It’s pretty big now, but I’ve just kept adding to it when I feel like it :)

I recently got some wool roving and drop spindles to try out hand spinning some yarn! :]

It turned out on the thicker side of course, but I’m happy with how it is! :-) I even crocheted my very first batch to see how it looks, and it was easy enough to work with.

Park fungi from last month. I was lucky to see some shaggy inky caps! <|:)

I think this is mostly bird's nest fungi (except a couple images, not sure about them).

Some park and field-dwelling fungi I've seen on my walks. Some of them curl upward as they grow, so they become little cups for rainwater.⋅˚₊‧.

Hello! Where do you get your jewelry? And if you make it, where do you get the materials to make it? :3

Hi! :) Some of it is stuff I’ve made with various craft store supplies (depends where you shop, if there’s not many good craft stores where you live, there are plenty of of online shops that sell just supplies).

I often use a lot of “natural” materials, like wooden beads, shells, rocks, crystals, pearls (freshwater ones are available at craft stores where I live, and often more affordable).

And some are things I’ve bought already-made, usually from an etsy shop or secondhand.
