So I’ve been in a bad place lately. I haven’t been a great friend, mum, daughter, sister and partner. I have let the pain control my life. I have let pain get in the way of enjoying life. I have let pain push away everyone I love. I’m trying to dig myself out of this hole I’m stuck in. CRPS is not going anywhere any time soon. I have been given the opportunity for help and I think I’m going to take it. Just to those I have pushed away I’m sorry, I’m working on it. To my family I’m sorry, I’m working on it. Let’s share awareness. We need progress in the understanding and treatment of CRPS. I’m not the only person that suffers, everyday my family suffers along side me. I’ve had some hard times in my life but this is the biggest challenge that’s been thrown my way. Taking Morphine is not a good enough treatment plan. Doctors not even knowing what CRPS is not acceptable. We need more people talking so others in the future don’t have to suffer.
