Just a reminder to all my little friends that “childish” and “immature” are not the same thing. You can love coloring, cartoons and stuffed animals but also have your priorities set straight. You can enjoy doing small puzzles and reading picture books and also be in charge at your job or an extracurricular at school. Likewise, you can wear fancy suits and ties every day but not get any work done ever.

Just because you find comfort in being in a younger headspace, does not mean you are a burden, lesser than anyone else, or in any way immature.

I'm ftm trans masc and age regress. I am also omni aro spec demisexual. My pronouns are he/they. I wish I could've lived out the happy life of a diagnosed autistic (emo?) tween/teen boy. Regressing helps me grieve for the years that could've been spent having fun instead of forcing myself to grow up all too soon because of chronic overwhelm.

I am also a therian, so pet regression with my black cat theriotype also happens for me.

I don't want a nursery or playroom while regressed, I want to play with my toys in the living room, running my trucks over the carpet and making my dinos climb the couch while my cg makes lunch just a few feet away in the kitchen. I wanna be able call for them to watch as my truck leaps over the edge of the carpet and for them to bring me my lunch, clearing a spot for my plate amongst the action figures and coloring pages on the coffee table.

not sure if I want to start posting about my agere here but that's a new development in my life. I recently realized I lean into age regression and why fight it when I can use it as a comforting, healing thing for myself.

one partner (who identifies as a baby) kept saying I'm childish when I do childish things and like,"You sure?" when I'd deny it, and now I aint denying it- I do lean into age regression to cope with the years I lost, the years I could've lived the happy life of a diagnosed autistic tween/teen boy. >w<

Sometimes, adulting is hard and I just wanna be a kid and enjoy the simple joys of childhood like toys, stuffies, coloring books, naps, etc. 🥺🥹

It's not hard to lean into it when I've held onto so much of my childhood stuff and have a wonderful bf who takes care of me & guides me through adulting.

Decided to redo this today because somethings have updated since I last did it-

1. domestic black cat, grey wolf and magic kin; my domestic black cat theriotype is most dominant

2. Wearable: faux black cat tail, two black cat masks and pet space gear; wolf and cat shirts

Nonwearable: framed art, posters, and figurines of wolves, cats, foxes, and magical creatures; trinkets

3. I'm in some therian group chats and I've got at least one therian friend

4. N/A

5. My theriotype has blue eyes. Black cats are known for being sweet/calm (when not seen as bad luck) but some can be chaotic which sorta suites me.

6. My first shift was back in May 2023 which is when I started to question if I was a therian and a few months later I concluded that I have a black cat theriotype. It was an interesting experience where I had this primal urge to be and act like a cat as if I really felt like a cat. Since then, involuntary shifts are rare but I still have shifts regularly from being pet to meditating. As for my wolf theriotype, I have wolf urges or shifty feels sometimes but nothing on the same level as that first black cat shift; as a young kid, I remember getting the urge to howel which could've been a neurospicy thing. And for my magic kintype, I remember being really interested in collecting random ass magical coins such as on this one Narnia bookmark growing up, was convinced not to cut off the coin tho

7. The grounding that comes with being able to escape humanity and enjoy being my animal self. Having my therian identity as an alternative to religion.

8. I am fox kith.

I am a brony.

I am a furry.

I like to dance.

I am lowkey a tryhard when it comes to kareoke.

9. Somewhat. There are plenty of different things that have changed my life. The more I am in tune with myself the more I feel good about my life.

10. Basically, that first shift opened my eyes to maybe I am a therian. I had heard of them in 2020 and thought they were so cool but I couldn't force myself to be a therian but when I had my first shift in 2023, it really made everything make sense. When it comes to therianthropy, I always gravitated towards kitty behavior so it makes sense I've got a kitty theriotype. I first started out as otherhearted with cats until I realized nah I definitely identify myself as a cat fr. The black cat part came from a noema of my old type being guys with short black hair which I then decided to dye my hair when I found out about my gender envy. I landed on therian a few months later and it all clicked.

For the wolf theriotype, I initially had wolf and fox kith as labels when I figured out the black cat theriotype. Over time I was noticing some joy hyper tail movement shifts which made me start questioning some things. Then when summer of 2024 rolled around, I finally came to the conclusion that my wolf kith is simply just a grey wolf theriotype.

Some time in between those two discoveries, I was questioning some things about a dragon or magical kintype based on some minor shifts and trinket collecting traits which I landed on that being a cladokin style of magic kin.
