After spending all day at the 7th grader's field day, out in the sun we were not prepared for the change in weather for tonight's softball practice. It was soooo cold and windy. We were not dressed properly and are all frozen to our cores. . We've been home for 90 minutes and I am just starting to thaw, thanks to a warm cup of #Miessence Berry Radical Antioxidant Superfood. The 12 yo has a sore throat. She won't eat raw garlic (neither will I, truth be told). So I am making some garlic fermented in honey. Normally I put the garlic cloves in whole, but since I need her to eat it today or tomorrow I am hoping to speed up the process by mincing the garlic. . Normally I would give her elderberry syrup but I am out. Later today I will try to head over to @mmnfoods or @apothecary_sisters to get some dried elderberries to make syrup. .
