So....I don't know if this post will get to the target audience I'm going for, I really hope it does because drugs and witchcraft can be such a touchy topic due to religious and spiritual psychosis. When intaking something that alters your state of mind, it's good to keep in mind how much youve consumed or how often your using, especially when you are doing witchcraft and involving yourself with the metaphysical (more on this later). But anyways let's get into it!!

How is weed useful in witchcraft?

Weed is mostly used as a relaxer, meaning certains strains will make you relaxed and calm, almost like you are floating. When I get like this, it's easier for me to meditate and communicate with my gods. In my non-stop talking brain, weed allows my brain to quiet down and relax, allowing me to slip into a more intense meditative state. Please be wary when doing this in things like spirit work or contacting entities you don't fully trust/know, especially deities.

Weed can also be used in spells such as: dream work spells/rituals, happiness spells, it can induce mental vulnerability, meaning it can be used to induce psychosis.

Weed and deity work

When it comes to using weed to enter a meditative state, I useally ask if the deity is comfortable with me doing that. If I'm trying to talk to a deity before working with them, then that deity might want me In a clear head as I'm working. Hekate useally prefers when Im sober when meditating as a way to practice mindfulness and to learn how to calm my brain down. She does this out of discipline. Aphrodite, on the other hand, prefers that I am high during workings or when meditating, she loves how it makes me feel and she's had such a great affect on me when I meditate with her that after I meditate im higher. She's honestly so cool 😻😻

HOW TO SAFELY USE WEED IN WITCHCRAFT

I've been smoking for a while now, I've seen what weed and witchcraft can do to you if you use it constantly. Weed can be super fun and you may feel super good but I promise that high will not last forever and it's honestly even better if you take breaks. When using weed in workings with spirits, it could lead to something really wrong, like paranoia, anxiety, and even psychosis. Weed has caused me to go into psychosis so much it was Insane, please use small dosage. And when using everyday, I don't believe in co dependency in weed. I believe you can get addicted to weed, a lot of people told me throughout my life that you could never get addicted and it's easy to quit, well after smoke everyday for like not even 5 months, I couldn't sleep without it and when I was without it I had constant cravings and would lash out constantly (to put it in simple terms). I also would like to say to check your mental health before intaking it before a ritual or contacting a deity, of you feel like you are mentally and physically vulnerable you could be at risk for psychosis. If you or someone you know is experiencing weed addiction please call 988 or find a NA in your area. Help is available and you can always quit. I honestly fucked myself over with weed, I used weed everyday for two years, I become lazy and comfortable without change, I became unemployed, I had delusions and even went through psychosis because of my constant intake, and it really halted my life. I don't recommend using everyday.
