This post was my inspiration for this blog…
Petition to mix cottage core and dark academia and call it Tolkien core after JRR Tolkien who is literally both.
Oh you want to know what “TolkienCore” looks like?? Think reading classics in other languages while flower crowns and drinking tea in tiny delicate tea cups in the woods on a picnic. Still need visuals? May I bring up Remus Lupin?? Knitted sweaters and homey feel but a also professer in a castle filled with potions and hidden rooms, ghosts whispering in long dead languages.
