For kiddos who loved (and still love) all things Littlest Pet Shop! Not just the toys but all the cool things surrounding it! Art, websites, merchandise, even fan creations! I tried to include lots of things I don’t usually see mentioned or included with discussions of LPS and I hope it brings back some good memories!!! I also meant to include some G7 stuff but I forgot to whoops. ^^;

🌸 make your wings!

craft a pair of fairy wings out of paper, wire, string, or even ribbon — decorate them with glitter, stickers, leaves, or tiny drawn-on runes. remember, no two fairies are ever alike 🧚‍♀️🪽

🌼 gather your favorite flowers

real or fake, picked or drawn — a fairy always surrounds themselves with blooms! make a bouquet, press them in a book, or make a little crown 💐👑

🫧 create a sensory shaker jar of pixie dust!

grab a jar, fill it with water, glitter, beads, and a few drops of food coloring. shake it up and pretend you’ve bottled the magic of a fairy storm! 🌈✨

🧠 write your own riddles

tricksy little fairies love to puzzle humans! write fun riddles or rhymes and test your friends (or stuffies!) — maybe leave a prize if they solve it 🎁🪄

🍄 make clay mushrooms & create a fairy circle

use air-dry clay or playdough to craft some teeny mushrooms, then place them in a circle on your floor, a windowsill, or a little garden spot. this is sacred fairy space! 🍄🌙

🎲 play a silly word game like “Hink Pink”

it’s a rhyming riddle game! a “large feline” would be a fat cat. a “cheerful father” is a glad dad. try and stump your fairy friends!

🪵 make a magic wand from a stick outside

go on a stick hunt! find one that feels right, then decorate it with yarn, ribbon, beads, or little bells. now you’re ready to cast tiny fairy spells! 🔮🪄💫

📺 watch something sparkly and magical!

curl up with a cozy blanket and watch Tinker Bell or Barbie: A Fairy Secret. perfect for fairy heart recharge time 💖🌟

little one who gets scared easily, always quick to apologise even without doing anything wrong. carer who lets them apologise and, rather than telling them not to, gently reminds them they did nothing wrong!!

"oh, sweetheart, you're so polite, but there's no need to apologise! you just got a fright, yeah? there's nothing wrong with that — in fact, i get scared a lot too!! it's true!! i'm terrified of pacifiers, did you know?! everytime you use one, i secretly go 'ahhh'!!"

to reassure their baby while also making them smile and giggle!

remember, there's nothing wrong with apologising — it's good to do it when you're wrong! but you're not always in the wrong, and you're only human 💐 reacting to things doesn't make you bad!!

🧃🌈 Shoutout to the Toddler Regressors 🌈🧃

We always hear about the teeny tinies—the wobbly babies and the sleepy littles curled up with pacis and blankies. But hey…

What about the toddlers?

💬 The ones who can talk, but whine or pout instead.

🧸 The ones who can walk, but cling to someone’s hand or want uppies all day.

🚽 The ones who are potty-trained (mostly) but still feel safest in a diaper or pull-up sometimes.

👕 The ones who flip between “I’m a big kid!!” and “I want my onesie and binky!” in a matter of minutes.

You’re not in diapers full time. You’re not talking in just babbles.

You might get fussy, but also insist on doing everything “by myself!!”

You’re clingy and independent at the same time.

You want to be held and have your own little backpack.

You’re a walking contradiction of softness and stubbornness—

and you are so, so valid.

Toddlers in real life are chaotic, precious little whirlwinds…

so if your regression reflects that?

GOOD.

That means it’s working.

You might love:

🎨 Coloring books with a sippy cup beside you

📚 Having a book read to you (even if you already know the story)

🍕 Eating big kid food like pizza but still wanting your nuggets in dino shapes

💤 Throwing a tantrum over naptime even though you clearly need it

👑 Shouting “I’m not tired!!” while falling asleep mid-cartoon

You’re a toddler regressor, and that means:

✨ You’re valid

✨ You’re safe

✨ You’re allowed to be exactly the version of small that you are

Not baby enough for the diaper babes?

Not “big” enough for the preschool littles?

You’re not in between, you’re perfectly you.

So shoutout to the toddler regressors.

little one who gets suddenly overstimulated, almost to the point of tears, but they try to self soothe to not be a bother. their mama had already noticed, though, always tuned in to their baby's emotions. she's removing them from the stimulation as soon as possible, offering gentle touches with permission and soothing words.

"come on, baby, i've got you. let's get back to our safe space, yeah? look, here are your headphones and your little friend!"

the little one grabs the stuffed animal like a lifeline while their mama handles their headphones, knowing exactly what to avoid and what is okay in times like this. she maneuvers the baby to their safe area in no time, allowing them to decompress.

"good job, angel. now, do you want a big squeeze or maybe some water? oh, of course, sweetheart. anything for you!"

little one who had a nightmare, coming into their mama's room with their comfort stuffy in hand and tears streaming down their cheeks. their mama sits up and rushes to them,

"another bad dream, sweetheart?" she presses a soft kiss to their head and then herds them towards her bed, "into bed we go!"

she helps her baby get tucked into her bed, pulling the covers snug around the little one. once they're settled, she gets in on the other side and pulls them to her chest. she grabs a pacifier she always keeps clean and by her bedside and pops it in her baby's mouth, tapping it soothingly.

"nightmares are stinky, huh? i bet it was real scary, but you were so brave coming to mama. i'll keep all the bad dreams away now! you're safe here, little one."
