Figured I'd go ahead and post one of my other halloween contest entry: director's cut.

I submitted one without all the scary movie character IPs --- and Dracula --- just in case that would "make their lawyers mad"

I was aiming for something you could zoom in and find stuff unfolding everywhere Sam and Max aren't looking ("what a boring night, Sam") but hit the memory ceiling before I could get too much in there, but I had plans I tell you.

Zombie Police: Christmas Dancing with Police Zombies launches August 8 - Gematsu

Mystery adventure game Zombie Police: Christmas Dancing with Police Zombies will launch for PC via Steam on August 8 for $12.99, developers ALTERCIWS and Lobstudio announced. It will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options. A demo featuring the first chapter of the story is available now.

About

Rookie human detective and energetic zombie detective, a mismatched buddy tackle mysterious cases! Get to the truth with the zombie’s super powers and human deductive skills in this Japanese mystery adventure! She’s the only one who can conduct this investigation… (because she’s a zombie). Zombie Police: Christmas Dancing with Police Zombies is a mystery adventure game featuring the odd-couple buddy duo of newbie detective Yasu Tamura and zombie detective Akemi Kabane as they take on cases together. Based on the testimonies and evidence collected, you will ultimately deduce the truth behind each case. The game features multiple endings that vary depending on your deductions.

Investigate and Gather Information

At the crime scene, conduct interviews together with the zombie detective. Important information about the case can be checked anytime as TIPS.

Make Deductions

You can enter the deduction phase at any time during the investigation. You can either gather all the information first or rely on your intuition! Based on the collected evidence, solve the case and deduce the culprit. Don’t give up even if you fail. Those who persevere will surely find a helping hand…

had a dream about a mid-apocalyptic dystopian town, forced under a strict regime by a need to survive. People who bent or broke the rules, even accidentally, were imprisoned, straight-up beaten on the spot by guards, or publicly tortured depending on the offense.

Now this is a Very Whumpy Setting, but the most memorable part of the dream was me trying to stop a guard from beating a man who was obviously having bones broken, and when I yelled for her to stop, she glared at me and went,

"are you trying to stand in the way of the law?"

and I didn't have a good reply so I was just like, "no, I just think you're hot"

And she got all flustered and the guy she was attacking got away lol

Leon makes me so sad. He shouldn't have just been at the club - he should be complaining about always doing laundry, he should be taking the trash to the curb, he should be out at the bar with his cop friends, he should have gotten to enjoy their welcome party. He should be slugging his way through paperwork, daydreaming of doing something big and heroic like any young cop would. He should be walking the streets, hoping to make a difference to the people he passes. His biggest problems should be the mountain of dishes he has to get done and how hard it is to get a good date

He deserved to live the quiet, domestic life he was building for himself. Leon makes me so sad
