you should’ve read the damn contract.
but you were desperate. truly desperate. broke to your bones, barely scraping by on instant noodles and tap water. you had holes in your socks, a phone with a shattered screen, and a wallet so empty it echoed. the idea of splurging on a sex toy? laughable. you couldn’t even afford a second-hand toothbrush. so when the sign-up form for "assistant tester" promised fast money with zero qualifications, you didn’t hesitate. clicked agree. no reading. no questions.
and now?
you’re strapped to a glossy, too-clean chair in a sterile lab with your legs spread wide, bound in place. and between them, humming softly with unholy precision, is a goddamn vibrator from the future.
silver, contoured, sleek—latched in place by soft restraints, the head of it resting firm and perfectly angled against your clit. it’s warm from its internal thermal sync, fitted with pressure-reactive gel pads and frequency mapping. you hadn’t even known vibrators could do this. it’s more machine than toy. and you are its first test subject.
“no offense,” satoru drawls, voice impossibly casual as he leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees, “but you’re twitching like a virgin in a wind tunnel. and this is literally the lowest setting.”
he grins around the end of a candy stick he’s been chewing for the last ten minutes, bright blue eyes tracking the shivers running down your body. his lab coat hangs off one shoulder like he forgot it halfway through putting it on, and his black compression shirt clings tight to his lean frame beneath it. his pants ride low on his hips where he’s slouched, thighs spread, casual in posture but intent in gaze. the goggles meant for "serious" testing sit uselessly on his forehead, pushing back his mess of white hair, strands sticking out in static waves.
his eyes flicker with amusement, mouth quirking as he watches your body react, fascinated. “don’t tell me,” he says, spinning slightly in his chair with a nudge of his heel. “you’ve never used a toy before.”
you jerk when the vibrator pulses, and your breath shudders. your thighs tremble as you try to close your legs on instinct—only to be kept wide open by the straps. your brows knit, lips parting in a soundless gasp, skin flushed from your cheeks to your collarbones. “i... haven’t,” you admit, voice barely above a whisper.
satoru blinks. then brightens. “what? oh my god. you’re serious?”
his grin widens—vicious and delighted.
“holy shit, this is even better than i thought. you signed up for high-grade prototype testing and your poor little pussy’s never even met a toothbrush’s vibration mode?”
“satoru!” you cry, humiliated, squirming against the relentless buzz between your legs. your hips twitch with every pass, toes curling in their restraints, spine arching slightly as the pleasure sneaks up your nerves.
he laughs like this is the best thing that’s happened all week. “nah, this is so good. write that down,” he mock-mumbles, pretending to scribble on his tablet. “subject is hopelessly inexperienced. results? extremely promising.”
he rolls his stool closer, the wheels creaking as he leans in. his breath fans across your thigh. he moves with lazy confidence, legs spreading slightly wider, hands loosely folded over his knees.
“can you even tell what part is making you moan like that? is it the pulses? the heat setting? or is it just the fact that someone’s finally paying attention to that sad little clit of yours?”
your hands grip the armrests harder, knuckles white. your face twists with the effort to stay composed, but another whimper escapes, and your lashes flutter from the building sensation. every hum of the vibrator sends your hips bucking.
“stop staring,” you choke, voice breaking from the mix of shame and pleasure.
he snorts. “what, you shy now? sweetheart, you’re on my table, strapped open, soaking my tech. i’m doing you a favor.”
he flicks a finger against the side of the vibrator casually. it twitches in response.
you gasp, whole body jolting. your eyes fly open wide, lips quivering as your muscles lock up for a moment.
he watches your back arch, eyes sharp and entirely too smug. “god, that’s adorable. you really don’t know what to do with it. how long you been walking around with a cunt that’s never been spoiled?”
beep.
he taps the tablet.
the vibration intensifies.
your whole body jumps, a startled moan ripping from your throat. your eyes squeeze shut, face contorting as your chest heaves in shallow gasps.
“ohhhh yeah,” he says, eyes gleaming. “now that’s the sound i needed on record. keep goin’, princess.”
you shake your head furiously, tears pricking at your eyes. your shoulders twitch with every wave of stimulation. “satoru—i c-can’t—”
“you can,” he says, nudging your thigh with his foot. “that’s literally the point. now stop whining and let the tech do its job. unless you want to redo all the calibration logs.”
he leans forward suddenly, forearms on either side of your thighs. he’s close now, close enough that you can feel the heat of his body, the sharpness in his gaze as he watches you break apart. “you’re already crying and we haven’t even hit auto-rhythm. wanna see what happens when we let it pick the pattern it thinks you like best?”
“no—!”
beep.
too late.
he watches you twitch and writhe, cheeks flushed, lips trembling from overstimulation. your cunt is soaked. the toy hums louder. your jaw slackens as you pant, barely holding onto your sense of self.
“god,” he mutters, not even trying to hide the awe in his voice, “you’re gonna short-circuit the sensors with how wet you are. is this what happens when broke girls finally get some tech between their legs?”
you let out a strangled sound—half moan, half sob—as your body twists against the restraints, chest heaving in shallow bursts. your head tosses to the side, hair clinging damply to your temple, strands sticking from the sheen of sweat along your brow.
satoru tilts his head, one white brow arching lazily as if he’s genuinely puzzled. his lip tugs up in amusement, eyes gleaming with mischief under the fringe of silver bangs. “what’s wrong? you wanna stop?”
your voice breaks on a whisper, barely audible through your trembling breath. “yes,” you whimper, eyes glassy, lashes wet.
he flashes a grin—wide and obnoxiously bright, the corner of his mouth dimpling as he leans back on his stool, spine stretching in a casual roll like he’s just lounging at a bar, not orchestrating your unraveling. “too bad. you signed a full-cycle clause. twenty minutes minimum.”
his wrist lifts casually, tablet tilted toward him with a flick of his fingers. his thumb scrolls the screen like he’s checking a grocery list. “we’re only at seven.”
“satoru, please—” your voice cracks on the plea, lip quivering as your hips instinctively try to shy away from the overstimulation.
he doesn’t even blink. “oh now you’re begging. yeah, that’s goin’ in the notes.” he mutters it more to himself than you, tapping something in lazily, though his eyes never leave the way your body squirms.
his hand comes down slow, deliberate, resting lightly on your hipbone. the heat of his palm spreads through the thin fabric of the gown they’d given you, and his fingers flex slightly, just enough to feel the way your muscles tremble beneath his touch. you flinch—just barely—but he catches it, and his lashes lower in interest.
“try to keep your voice down, though,” he says, tapping your thigh twice like it’s nothing. “walls are thin. or don’t. up to you.”
then he leans back again, reclining just slightly in his seat, one knee bouncing idly, clipboard resting across it. the corner of his smile twitches as he watches your face twist again, eyes fluttering shut. “science is beautiful, huh?”

When the day finally came that Jean Moreau and Neil Josten stood side by side on the Olympic court, it was weird. Not for them, of course, they had kept in close contact since the nest and had been looking forward to finally playing on the same team again. It wasn't weird for Kevin or Andrew either, both were used to Jean and Neil's borderline codependent relationship. It wasn't even weird for Jeremy, who got used to the fact that his boyfriend came with a 5 foot three red-haired accessory rather quickly.
No, it wasn't weird for any of them. It was only weird to the public and the other members of the Olympic team.
The general public had had years to get used to the dynamic of Kevin Day and Neil Josten. The two had left the nest in rapid succession, and both ended up on the Foxes. While there was much speculation and interview after interview, no one could ever quite grasp their relationship.
The press and the public got used to silent conversations, exchanged at a glance, to Neil invading Kevin's space to whisper in another language, the taller man not even reacting as he answered with the same expression he'd had before. They got used to Neil being glued to Kevin's side, on the court, on the bench, even in the off-season.
Then there were the weirder things. Neil was spotted a few times asleep with his head on Kevin's shoulder or lap. None of the Foxes seemed to question this, so the public speculated it must just be due to growing up together. Then there were Kevin's affectionate smiles that were only directed at Neil. And Neil almost always looked to Kevin when he was uncomfortable with interview questions, which was always followed by Kevin stepping in.
Then there was the sharing.
Food, water bottles, sweat towels, Neil taking Kevin's phone from his pocket whenever Kevin was too distracted to acknowledge Neil's presence, not to mention the countless Paparazzi photos that side by side showed the shared hoodies, T-shirts, and other accessories. The two shared so much in fact that before Neil confirmed his relationship with fellow Fox, Andrew Minyard, most exy fans (for better or worse) had assumed Neil and Kevin were a couple.
And while Jean had followed Kevin and Neil from the nest not long after they left, he did not join them on the East Coast; instead, he headed to California to join the Trojans there. Kevin and Neil voiced their support of Jean's choice separately and together, praising the Trojans for supporting Jean during his transition from Raven to Trojan. Jean, in turn, spoke affectionately about his former teammates, if rarely, and as the years passed, the fact that the three men had once played together for the Ravens faded to the back of everyone's mind.
Until Jean joined Neil and Kevin on the Olympic field, and it all came back.
The odd closeness, the silent conversations, the sharing, whispers in French and other languages, and most familiarly of all, Neil being glued to Jean's side. It was evident on the court, in interviews, on the sidelines. Except this was so much more than Kevin and Neil had ever been.
The two move together in an uncanny way, as if they were unconsciously linked. Kevin was usually nearby, but Neil and Jean were just different. Their team saw it more than anyone else and agreed it was unsettling.
Multiple teammates witnessed Jean stealing bites of Neil's food right off the striker's plate, and when asked about it, Neil casually explained he was poisoned once, and sometimes Jean still worries. This led to a conversation about why exactly Jean, essentially being Neil's poison tester, was a good idea, and Neil just shrugged. The chances of there being any poison were basically zero, and if it made Jean feel better, why would Neil stop him? No one knew how to answer that, and Kevin agreed with Neil, so the subject was dropped.
There is so much casual physical contact between the two men that several of their Olympic teammates questioned if Jean and Neil were actually dating each other rather than Andrew and Jeremy. Jean automatically taking Neil's arm to direct him as he walks whenever Neil is wrapped up in whatever he's talking about (usually exy) or casually lying across Neil's lap when they watch a movie. Neil, leaning into Jean's space, or tugging the taller man down to whisper in his ear.
And Jean is clearly in perfect synch with his red-haired shadow, no matter what Neil needs. Neil won't even speak sometimes; he just makes vague noises, and Jean will reach down the coffee tin from the top shelf or shift how he's sitting so Neil can curl up next to him. Kevin sometimes joins them, and sometimes Andrew will, but it's not unusual to find Jean reading with a sleeping Neil curled up against him. And if Neil goes too quiet and Andrew isn't already by his side? Everyone knows to find Jean immediately.
Jean's care for Neil isn't one-sided, either. Neil can cook three things, and all three dishes are Jean's favorites. He knows Jean's wardrobe better than Jean does and makes sure that if anything needs to be replaced, it is. He can sense when Jean needs a break and will either suggest a walk or suggest they find Jeremy. And if Jeremy isn't around and Jean is upset? Find Neil as fast as possible.
Neil brings Jean out of his shell, and Jean can withstand Neil's rage (rare though it is now). On more than one occasion, Jean simply picked Neil up and carried him away from the opposite team while Neil continued to yell in multiple languages. Usually, Jean takes Neil to the goal and stands guard while Neil has a conversation with Andrew, but sometimes he simply holds Neil in the air until the striker has calmed down. And despite Neil's fury, not once did he land a hit on Jean.
(That was something all three former Ravens were very careful about. Anger was never directed at each other, whether that was simply raised voices or more physical frustrations. That wasn't to say they never disagreed. It was just that disagreements were calmly discussed, and the three never argued.)
The team gradually got used to the weird dynamic, collectively deciding that if the boyfriends were okay with it, they could be, too. Until the incident.
Jean was discussing strategy with the team captain after practice when Neil came up behind him. Their captain nodded in greeting, not surprised that Jean's shadow had shown up, and continued talking. His trailed off mid-sentence, however, when Neil began to climb Jean like a jungle gym!
And Jean didn't react! He picked up where the captain left off, as if oblivious to the 5-foot-3 man currently climbing up to his shoulders. Actually, that wasn't completely true. Jean unconsciously shifted his weight to keep his balance and put a hand on his hip, giving Neil both a foothold and a handhold as he climbed. Neil settled on Jean's shoulder, and Jean reached up to pat Neil's leg absently. Neil hummed in response, crossing his arms across the top of Jean's head and resting his chin on them.
It wasn't until their captain didn't answer Jean's question that he realized the man was staring.
"What's wrong?" Jean asked, mildly concerned.
"He just... And you... He climbed you like a tree!!"
Jean chuckled.
"He does that."
"Why??"
"He likes to be tall sometimes," Jean said it as if it was obvious.
"Of course he does," their captain said faintly.
And that was the day the team gave up trying to even attempt to understand Jean and Neil.

From Sector: 38
Entry: II
After my last "encounter," my mind was made – I couldn't just sit at the edge of the sector staring out at the abyss – a hunger had made itself a home inside of me, nested under my bosom and in between my ribcage. For what it was worth, I could now say I was the proud owner of a brand new sector pass (actually in date this time), meaning I could also now apply for a real job. Before, it felt like I was wading through murky waters devoid of a lighthouse: without any sense of direction or purpose, but now I knew where I was going, who I was to be, and what I was to become – a xenologist.
It wasn't the easiest job. When I told my friends, they outright laughed. Sure, the world wasn't what it used to be – fancy bits of laminated paper were all lost to the flood – but that didn't mean that anyone could just walk in with zero qualifications, no questions asked. This was especially so for jobs that didn't exist pre-flood (including but not limited to, you guessed it, xenology). Before, if the job existed, maybe I would have gone to some elite university and collected my certificate that, for some reason, was meant to equate four years of my life, with a smile – now, we had the circuits.
On the bright side, it was a shorter process, 6-12 months if you survived that long and shorter if you didn't. I didn't know the process that well (sue me), but I knew that I would be starting at the outer tier, maintenance (glorified clean-up crew) and working my way in, each stage more deadly than the last until finally I reached the core, or as its more commonly known, "The Arena." I could never just choose the easy path.
I knew I should have been nervous, but... I just wasn't. I guess after the encounter, it was hard to feel like I hadn't been given some top-secret information that put me ahead. I hadn't really had the time to think about it, or I did, but there wasn't really much to say or do. It wasn't like I could tell anyone – I don't know what would have been worse: them not believing me or their faces of disgust.
When all countries were dissolved, you'd have liked to think everyone would lose their patriotism (you know, considering there were no more countries to worthlessly devote themselves to) – wrong. The world became one big country, one metaphorical empire ruled by the human race. This meant anyone or anything not of the human race or not subservient to the human race (like my neighbour, Julie's pet squid) was technically considered an enemy of the state.
Wait, did I fuck a public enemy?

First-day jitters were nothing in comparison to whatever I was feeling, especially considering this wasn't even my first day more like a very short tester solo shift - in all my time on sector 38 I'd never felt seasick (probably because the plates don't move) and yet here I was suddenly greatly empathetic towards the poor souls who found themselves violently ill holidaying in pacific waters. I could barely walk straight, my legs felt like jelly, and my stomach was so heavy I genuinely wondered if I'd swallowed an anchor between breakfast and lunch.
Even now, i still don't understand why i was alone during my tester shift? I get that it was just three tasks, but typically, unless you're a high-level, you're not to be left alone - always followed by a superior. Still, as i said, it wasn't even like I was going to be doing much, according to the alerts who sent me my assignments the night before my shift
. Stack the crates
. File away medical instruments
. Clean the pods on deck Xv_2
Pretty standard stuff, to be honest. If i cared half as much as i should, I'd be outraged that they gave me such menial work - but i didn't, so i wasn't. All i cared about was getting to see more of them, speak to them, and understand them, and the only way to do that was to become a xenologist.
At that point, I couldn't care less about hierarchy and ranks - i didn't understand the tangled web of beurocracy or how clearing badges worked, well not until I'd spent less than five seconds on the deck and i was promtly told
"Attention!"
The wooden crate I'd be carrying dropped to the ground with a hollow thud, the solid wood colliding with the metal flooring, making an awful cacophony. I looked up at the figure and saw a man dressed in a black suit with a white under shirt and black tie, on his black hair sat snug a white naval cap and across his chest a number of metal pins. He looked at me expectantly, i hadn't been told anyone else would be on shift as far as I knew I was supposed to meet my peers next week.
While trying to carefully stack the box in the appropriate space, I gave an awkward smile
"Hi"
Somehow, in a moment, his face grew colder, from freezing to a subzero tundra in an instant - I could tell he wanted to say more, to reprimand me, put me in place - but promtly his alarm sounded on his right wrist.
He left without a word, his face coloured with urgency.
To say I was confused would be an understatement. In the new world, the navy took on a more active role with the marines following suit to a lesser degree and the army taking the least precedence out of the three - so seeing a navy officer wasn't unheard of or even uncommon, but a lieutenant?
It just didn't make any sense, especially considering my work for today was entirely made up of menial tasks - and the look on his face as he left or even before that when I greeted him? I'm not in the navy, clearly so why what was he expecting me to do? Salute? Bowe? Kiss the ground beneath his feet?
It didn't matter, I told myself, i quite literally had one job: keep my head down and become a certified xenologist...well, aside from cleaning the pods on deck.
After stacking the last of the crates and refusing to give into my temptation of opening them, I set about trying to look for the ever elusive deck Xv_2
I mean, would it have KILLED them to give me a map or something? All the corridors looked the same - eggshell cream walls with blue strip lights - every turn, every left, every right didn't feel like it was getting me any closer, to be honest, I wasn't sure if this was some sort of time warp zone, an after effect of some eldritch creature washed up during the flood.
Wandering through the halls, I passed numerous rooms with bolted doors and bright yellow signs with bold black writing, as if they were so afraid that someone might accidentally open the securely locked doors - aside from doors armed to the teeth I passed a myriad of people, i can't really use one word to describe them:
From white coats with slicked-back hair, needle-straight posture to black suits, black ties, white collars, and broze pins to white hazmat suits and black boots.
Like some sort of machine, my brain was fixed on identifying and categorising my colleagues (colleagues). Well, that was until I heard it, tapping against the walls
It was faint at first, easily missable, but then the sounds grew louder, the rapid patter of the metal walls surrounding me like rain against the window - except there was nothing to see, no visible trace of the source of the sound just the noise, just the polyphonic array.
If this was a film, the corridors would be dimly lit with no signs of life but my own heartbeat and panting breath ringing in my ears, but this is the real world, if anything the bright neon lights and the industrious workers who I chanced upon only led to an increase in my anixety - it was as though i was going insane, as though i was being followed
"Could no one else hear that?"
The noise was atonal and offbeat - seeming to come from everywhere and nowhere all at once, bouncing off the walls like an echo. My eyes darted around the corners of the walls as I discreetly tried to turn my head to locate the source of the sound only to be met with nothing. Whatever it was, it was quick. It was just too quick, the persistent creature darting always just out of sight.
Finally, after what felt like a literal millennia, I ran into a steal door labelled
Xv_2
I pushed both the persistent scurrying aside and the absurdly weighted door - inside a dimly lit room with large cylinders attached to the centre wall. To call it a deck seemed overly gracious, with the sizing being more akin to an office space or a large storeage room.
As i walked closer towards the cylinders, I understood why they needed to be cleaned - they were filthy, dust coating them in an opaque sheild blocking any possible view of whatever was sealed within them.
I grabbed the tissue pack I'd hastily shoved in my bra before leaving the house and stared at the cylinders - there was NO way they'd be enough. A part of me seriously thought about using my top, but the thought quickly vanished when i remembered I did actually have to leave the facility without being arrested for public indecency.
And that's when i felt it, a brush of cold air against my neck, raising my hair and sending a shiver down my spin. Instantly, I dropped my tissue pack on the small table and turned around but only to be met by nothing, empty space. I stared out at the room for a moment as though someone or something would magically appear it would probably still have only been the second strangest thing to happen to me as of last. After sufficiently staring out into an empty room I turned back around...
The tissues were gone.
I looked down at the floor, nothing. Half baked thoughts swirled around my head as i looked around the room
"I could have sworn i- did i bring them? Yes. Maybe i dropped them on a crate? No, i had them when-"
Finally, i got on my knees searching underneath the desk in hopes that somehow they'd fallen and I'd kicked them under. It was so dark I should have brought my phone or a flashlight or something, as I lent further under the desk the space narrowed which, if i was paying attention i would have known.
But, alas, i wasn't - instead, my mind was still fixed on how i needed to be more prepared in the future and how i shouldn't have a phone if i wasn't going to use it because the last time I didn't bring my phone i got-
Cold.
Cold air against my bare thighs, that feeling again. Except this time the cold felt more real? The touch more weighted less like the air and more like a person?
I stilled against the feeling, with every passing second the pressure grew till i could shape the outline: a hand.
I tried to move backwards from under the desk but promptly the feeling of another hand splayed across my waist - halting any movement. The hand across my waist kept a firm solid grip, with the cold air seeping through my clothes and onto my skin as though I were naked whilst the other fingers which previously splayed across my thigh began to move, inching ever so slowly towards my upper thigh.
Maybe it was the confusion or remnants of my first (but technically not first) day jitters. Maybe it was a cocktail of both, but I found myself slightly pushing towards the unknown force. Whatever it was must have taken that as a sign because suddenly, the fingers brushed in between my inner thighs dangerously close to my knickers.
I didn't know who or what was behind me, no-one else was in the room bar me and with only one entrance and exist it would have be impossible for anyone to come in without my knowledge - especially considering how heavy the door was.
This couldn't be a who, I thought. It must have been a what.
The thought excited me, that familiar warmth spreading in my lower stomach now juxtaposing the icy touch of the creature - I couldn't help but let out a breathy whimper. The creature must have heard because, within an instant, its cold finger pressed against my clothed entrance. The pressure was barely there, barely feelable almost imperceptible but that's what made is to so maddening - what made me push back against it despite the very firm hand on my waist.
We continued our dance: me pushing backwards, aching and desperate for any sort of relief or solid touch, and its outright reluctance to give it to me aside from the arctic hold on my mid section I could feel myself growing wetter, throbbing in a hot aching want. If i was capable of shame at that point, I would have been berating myself for wearing white panties instead of a more concealing black.
The feel of the wet material sticking to me and the mystery surrounding the strange figure was getting to be too much, I'd tried to bite my glossed lips concealing more whimpers and moans but i couldn't hold back anymore. I began to rock back harder, sounds slipping from my mouth like condensation down glass till the monster showed me mercy.
A cool finger began to push into me through my now presumably clear underwear, the sensation of wet cotton and the icy appendage dipping into me making me moan all the more - but it wasn't enough. I began to beg, pleas falling from my mouth faster than my brain could protest.
Cold and wet dragged along my cunt so abruptly I hit my head against the desk but I was too aroused to care - slowly the figure dragged its icy dripping tongue against me, lapping up my desire through my panties and adding to the wet region.
The drag was devastatingly slow, and whilst the pressure was a reprieve from my previous torture, it was nowhere near enough, tears gathered in my eyes as I begged for more. Then, I felt the being give one final lick before spreading my thighs out further and removing its hand from my waist - I was untouched.
For a brief moment, i wondered if it had left me, alone and hungry, desperate for something more - thankfully, it didn't. Instead, I felt what seemed to be a light kiss to my upper thigh before my skirt was bunched up to above my ass. The suddenness of it all made my gasp like a scandalised southern bell -as though I wasn't begging to be fucked by a stranger (who most definitely wasn't human) under a desk at my first day at work- though rapidly my gasp morphed into a whine as I felt the monster slip underneath my shaking spread out thighs so that the back of its head might rest against the floor with now both hands grasping my waist and hips.
It began to lick into me (still over my underwear) with a passion that I've never known, the glacial touch contrasting the warm friction building. I began to rock and press down onto its tongue and in response it sucked and licked and fucked into me with its tongue.
I'd asked, begged for more and I'd gotten it but I've always been greedy, always been stupid and reckless and impulsive, always been bossy even when I'm on my knees and then was absolutely no different.
"Let me fuck your mouth"
Instantly as soon as the words left my mouth I felt it moan against me the sensation only making me want it more, carefully after giving a few more playful sucks it released me - somehow even with its cold presence when it left me, the room felt so much more glacial.
I slid out from under the desk my shaking legs doing very little to help me in this endeavour, but before i could turn around to face the entity hands covered my eyes, of course this did nothing in ways of stopping me from seeing but I understood the getsture and so I closed my eyes.
Once my eyes were closed, the figure rearranged our bodies like a jigsaw piece as though it and I were one cohesive being all while I was immersed in the faint scent of sea salt and rain-soaked earth emanating from the creature - the delicate nature of the smell, alien to the steady yet all-consuming auror of the beast - like the sky before a storm. Once again, it was pressed against the ground with the back of its head to the metal flooring, and I was on top of it, this time fully able to sit with a straight posture.
It slowly guided me with my eyes still closed to its mouth with my still clothed cunt at first gently resting against its lips not wanting to move before it was ready till I felt it place both its sturdy hands on my waist and force me to rock into its mouth slightly.
I began slow, moving backwards and forwards on its cold tongue, trying to find a starting rhythm before the heat that momentarily subsided rose in full formation. Its hands were everywhere on my waist, my hips, my tummy. Like it was pushing and pulling me down and up, away, and to. Then suddenly one of its strong arms was lifting me slightly off its mouth eliciting an unexpected whine from me whilst the other moved the lace fabric to the side before gently lowering me back onto its cold wet mouth.
The feeling was foreign, invasive, intrusive, like a virus spreading through my body overtaking each nerve and blood cell before leaving me powerless to resist or even the desire to. The cold spit-soaked tongue dragged perfectly against me like waves hitting against the rocks, never missing their mark. I began to ride into its mouth, eyes rolling to the back of my head as I felt a familiar pressure build within me. I was so close to the edge, to the beginning and end of bliss. I didn’t know what the creature was or if it was even capable of feeling pleasure in the same way I did, but the desperate movements of its cold hands, one gripping my waist and the other my boobs showed me I wasn't alone in my heightened arousal.
Pleas and cries spilt from my lips, each more nonsensical and crass than the last:
"Please, please, fuck I'll be so good, fuck, your mouth its so- so perfect, you're so good for me, fuck, just like that, right there-"
Till eventually like an electrical current, the feeling washed over me - like fuzzy static interferce my whole body sparked alite. Its cold hands pressed me down harder as my body spasmed, tears welled in my eyes as I tried to move away, the pleasure building to be all too much, the overstimulation becoming extreme - but its presence remained lapping up my cum from my wet, warm, throbbing cunt.
My legs felt like jelly as it finally allowed me to stand, my lack of balance definitely not helped by my inability to see.
"Can I open my eyes... Tap me twice for yes?"
I felt a press of cold lips against my neck and then temple, sending a shiver down my spine and a small smile on my face before opening my eyes and turning around to see
Nothing.
I looked around the room confusion growing clearer on my face - thoughts regarding whether I'd made the whole scenario up in my head beginning to take root - before I felt cold hands rest against my cheek holding my head tilted slightly upwards before I felt cold lips move again against mine. The kiss was dry, soft, and sweet, still smelling of sea salt and storms and in that moment my mind was still, at peace like a total oneness with the world, with the truth whatever that may be.

Hei can you write about firefly!yuu ..?
Sorry for being offline for so long, it's Christmas break and I'm enjoying my holiday so I'm very sorry for the long wait as well uploading slowly •́ ‿ ,•̀
𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐋𝐘 𝐘𝐔𝐔 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐖𝐒𝐓

A member of the Stellaron Hunters, clad in a set of mechanized armor known as "SAM." Her character is marked by unwavering loyalty and steely resolve. Engineered as a weapon against the Swarm, she experiences accelerated growth, but a tragically shortened lifespan. She joined the Stellaron Hunters in a quest for a chance at "life," seeking to defy her fated demise.
Originally appeared as a normal student, no one originally knows about their true identity, they are rarely in their SAM armor since they find no reason to released it yet...
Enjoy their time in twst by eating sweets and the food in the school, the first years are impressed on how much firefly!Yuu can eat them, as well as their trey taste tester for new desserts.
Sometimes when no one is looking firefly!yuu would use their armor as a stove to cook their food in ramshackle.
During riddles overblot, a mysterious metal armor appears plunging it's way towards the middle ( firefly skill )of the battle and this after effect manages to disaggregate everything around the heartslabyul garden leaving everything on fire and nothing but ashes, they even manage to burn the overblot that was covering riddle and causing riddle to have a second degree burn.
Soon this metal armor person started to appear during overblot battles and ended it in seconds, many rumors about it becoming a popular topic for the school trying to figure out who's under the armor meanwhile sit in quite pretending nothing happened.
During the Octavinelle chapter firefly!yuu actually have some problems fighting since it is full of water but they manage to push thru not without their armor fully drenched in water and malfunctioning so they have to dry it for one week during which they are unable to use it.
Firefly!yuu would occasionally drop by the ignihyde dorm to steal some equipment so they can enhance and fix their armor, they befriend an ignihyde student so they have zero suspicion why they are there, most ignihyde student believe they are visiting the student or just chilling there and they are fine with it.
During their transformation they would usually fly super high to make sure no one sees them transform and then plunge down creating a crater and impact full fire applying fire damage towards the enemy.
No one has ever suspected firefly!yuu being the metal armor vigilante that only appears during over blot battles, many students have theories who ever were behind the metal armor teachers, students and many more.
The only one that knows is grim and he almost let out the secret multiple times due to many slip ups but many believe it was just him faking it or firefly!yuu appear before he could say anything.
During the battle in savanaclaw, when everyone was busy focusing on Leona firefly!yuu plunge them using their armor to fight, that plunge when landing manage to turn the sand around the area to liquid glass instantly due to how hot their armor was.
Outside the armor firefly!yuu is very experienced in combat, they were a trained soldier as well as having the skill in swordmanship, they manage to knock down multiple students in hand to hand combat without a sweat. This action manages to earn the respect of many students as well as followers if you say.
One time, when Lilia was delivering that Christmas card towards them, he invited them towards a sparring training in dismonia since he's very curious about their combat style.
No surprise firefly!yuu manage to knock down sebek and silver with ease, Lilia made a comment about them having experience in battle as if they were a soldier before and it manages to firefly!yuu to act nervous which caught Lilia's suspicion. Soon he started to have suspicion about firefly!yuu since the combat style of them and metal armor is similar.
Their identity hasn't been revealed until the ignihyde chapter, where the overblot groups were captured by STYX in captivity. Originally firefly!yuu denied to go to the island of woes but they were secretly tailing rook and epel behind them, they were flying much higher than them to the point for them unable to spot them.
They want to rescue grim that disappear mysteriously and they believe STYX has held him captive and when they arrive at the facility, All hell break lose
They attack the facility releasing intense heat in it, as well defeating many of the androids and security guards in it with ease. Scorching everything in its path they won't stop until they find their friend.
They reveal themselves after being confronted by the pomifiore group, the entire group was shocked and was unable to speak but there's no time since many overblots monsters have broken out and now are free.
Firefly!yuu has managed to destroy 3/4 of the monsters inside since there's no stopping them, they immediately split from the pomifiore group since they were still looking for grim.
After the chaos was over and idia overblot has been neutralized, and they soon return to NRC and firefly!yuu was taken immediately for questioning by the staff and dorm leaders.
They confess everything about them being the metal armor vigilante in the school, as well about their past being a soldier to defeat the swarm disaster in their universe as well about their illness Entropy Loss Syndrome about their will to live much longer.
Idia after the incident grow fear around them as well a little disdain towards them due to the amounts of damage they cause in the STYX Facility but decide to let it go for now and focus on the new task.
Which is to study their metal armor, for some reason the fire that the SAM armor produces has immense destruction power enough to burn anything on its path even overblot aren't enough to hold against the fire quickly disintegrated into ashes.
Even before their identity was revealed idia and the STYX organization have interest in studying SAM technology as well armor to improve their own androids.
After their secret comes out, many students see them as like a hero from the comics and manage to gain a fan club of many students wanting to meet the metal armor and now they approach firefly!yuu and gush how cool they were and asking for autographs even the first years are amaze by them.
Vil once asked firefly!yuu to do a favor for him, he wishes to make an action movie with the film making club as a small project and it becomes a big hit and soon many comics about firefly!yuu appear and many studios wish to recruit firefly!yuu to make a movie. By far firefly!yuu haven't made an answer.
Sometimes during spring breaks or any free time, firefly!yuu would travel into a cafe or bakery to try their desserts. They even manage to become a regular at treys family bakery.

Vexen Character Analysis Week Day 4-Weapon Names
For this one I wanted to look at the names of his shields in Days. His shields are named for thing relating to either the cold, science and for a few of them both. I’ll look at both the English and Japanese names as some of them have different names depending on the language. I’ll also look at the name of his personal accessory.
Tester Zero- Considering all that came up when I looked this up was a 70s mecha anime I’m going to say this name was picked just to sound vaguely science-y while also making it clear this is his basic weapon.
Product One- Same with this one as well. It’s the shield he gets from the first gear you get so it has a name which fits with that role.
Deep Freeze/Refrigerator - Both of these are names that relate to the cold. I always find it so funny that one of his weapons is named refrigerator of all things.
Cryolite Shield- Cryolite is a rare mostly white mineral that is mainly found in Greenland. Cryo is also a prefix that means cold. This one uses the cold theming in a really neat way.
False Theory- This one refers to the idea of falsifiability, which deals with how a theory should be able to be proven false. It also may refer to the idea of a null hypothesis or the idea that a hypothesis isn’t true due to there being no statistical significance. This name is interesting as it conveys the ideas of a theory that has been proven wrong, which draws some parallels with the research done by the apprentices.
Glacier- Glaciers are massive dense body of ice that slowly move and create landforms in their wake. Another one that’s just meant to keep with the cold theme.
Absolute Zero- zero Kelvin is the coldest possible temperature . At that point all motion stops and only a small amount of energy is left. A fitting name for a weapon wielded by a cryokinetic scientist.
Gunz-This shield takes its name from a glacial period. There’s another two that continue this theme.
Mindel- Another glacial period one. Interestingly all the glacial periods referenced are also the names of tributaries of the Danube.
Snowslide- This name evokes images of rushing avalanches and fierce blizzards. This suits his fighting style in CoM pretty well, less so in KH2 and Days though.
Iceberg- an iceberg is a large chunk of ice floating in a body of water. They also tend to be connected to the idea of things existing under the surface. I would imagine it was picked for cold theming, but it also works in the context of darkness existing within the realm of light.
Inquisition/Researcher- This two are both science related terms. Researcher is a word that generally means the same thing as scientist. Inquisition can mean a few things, but in this case it is referring to scientific curiosity. Unchecked curiosity was what started Even fall to darkness, which makes this a particularly interesting choice of name.
Scrutiny/Experiment- An experiment is a research method used to establish causation between independent and dependent variables. Scrutiny is part of the scientific norm of organized skepticism or the idea that research should be properly analyzed before being accepted. This is the reason that studies are peer-reviewed.
Empiricism/Closed Tool- So I don’t know what a closed tool is and all looking it brought me to was the idea of closed source. I don’t think that’s what they were going for, but it does work nicely with the secrecy that the Organization and its members tends to practice Empiricism refers to the empirical method, the standard that scientific research holds it self as a means of establishing validity in its results.
Edification/Laboratory -Laboratories are places where research is conducted. Edification is the act of trying to improve one’s self intellectually, morally or spiritually. Like with inquisition this can connected with his fall to darkness, which saw him perusing knowledge without little regard for the hurt it may cause.
Contrivance - In this context this is likely referring to a finding that came down to confounding factors instead of what was being researched. It can also refer to data being manipulated to get a wanted result. From what has been seen, it seems like quite a bit of the research down by both the apprentices and the Organization was of this nature.
Würm- This is the last of the shields named for glacial periods. Glacial periods are intervals of colder weather during ice ages.
Subzero- A temperature below 0. Analysis one that was done to fit the ice theming.
Cold Blood- A phrase used to describe someone who does cruel acts in a callous and detached manner. Interestingly this doesn’t actually fit Vexen all that well, as he is ironically quite hot-blooded, cold-blooded is more a term I’d use to describe characters like Xemnas, Marluxia and Saïx. Likely picked for both cold theming and to give the image of someone conducting unethical research in a clinical way.
Diamond Shield-This comes from the meteorological phenomenon know as diamond dust which sees the creation of clouds of tiny ice crystals. Square has used this as the name for a variety of things, most famously Shiva’s signature attack, but also as the name for one of Vexen’s sleights and his Limit Break in Days.
Aegis- An aegis is an object of protection. The term comes from Greek mythology we’re it was used for a divinely blessed object that has depicted as a cloak, a shield or a breastplate. This one is unique as it doesn’t follow the theming of the rest of his weapons and instead comes from the weapon he wields. Protection in relation to him goes beyond just his shield, as Even was Ienzo’s main guardian, a job he seemed to take to heart as a Somebody.
Frozen Pride- This name actually predates Days as it came from KH2FM. This is why it doesn’t completely follow the naming scheme. The name comes from a combination of Vexen element and his extremely haughty nature. It may also reflect how despite his pride, he doesn’t really get that much respect from some of the other Org members.
Pot Lid- It’s a pot lid and was likely picked as a silly type of shield as this is a gag weapon.
Snowman- The other gag weapons. It’s a small shield with a little snowman on it. What’s interesting is that its description says it reflects the user personality, which leads to the question of what the weapon could mean. Maybe it refers to him creating Replicas, maybe it’s just because he controls ice, or maybe it’s meant to harken back to happy winter memories as a Somebody, who knows.
Ice Breaker/Smiles of Ice and Snow This is his personal accessory that gives complete resistance to being frozen. The English name is just a quip reflecting his ice powers, but the Japanese name is far more interesting. It fascinates me because it has seemingly happy connotations that evoke the image of a pleasant cozy winter. If it had been Smile of Ice it would have given the image of cold sadistic glee, but the addition of snow gives a sweeter softer feeling. Like Aegis and Snowman it seems to harken back to his role as Ienzo’s guardian.
Looking at these as a whole there are some things to note. Most of the ice related one seem to have been picked mainly for the purpose of theming and do not give a lot to work with. The science related ones on the other hand show something of a pattern, particularly with the English names. Most of them are connected to curiosity and the concept of falsifiability. Their names seem to come from the qualities that lead to him becoming a Nobody, a ravenous urge to find more knowledge and less than stellar research methods. They reflect has absolute worst qualities as a researcher. In contrast to that, the ones the connected to protection reflect has best quality when he was a Somebody, the care he once had for others. It leads to the names evoking of feeling of things that have been lost and sins of the past.

It even works for beginners, never skipping or smudging. “This liquid eyeliner has a smooth delivery known to last a long time,” adds Sarai Martinez, a Boston-based makeup artist. As far as the finishes, you’ve got options: satin, pearl, and shimmer, each richly pigmented and built to turn heads. We’re especially into Shimmer Rose (a vivid, shimmery pink), while Sanchez swears by Satin Brown for “a warm, smoky eye” that gives the eyes a sultry, soft-focus effect. TL;DR: once it’s on, it’s on—and it looks stunning doing it.Commerce editor Sarah Han applying the Dior Diorshow Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Sarah HanHan after applying the Dior Diorshow Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Tester feedback from commerce editor Sarah HanAccordionItemContainerButton“I prefer gel liners but that doesn't mean I'm not in the mood for extra drama every once in a while—and drama does Dior Diorshow bring. I'll usually go for a brown (which are just as lovely in this range!), but since I have pink hair, I can't resist an on-theme makeup moment. As for the formula itself, the soft, flexible tip means there's zero tugging (a non-negotiable) and the pigment is super punchy from the first swipe. I will caveat that the color showed up so well on my lids but in my wing area, I struggled to get the same color payoff over my foundation/concealer. It'd probably help to apply powder over my base makeup or do my liner first. It's not a dealbreaker because, even in the midst of a NYC heatwave, it didn't budge one inch.”—Sarah Han, commerce editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Waterproof: Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye LinerStilaStay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye LinerWhy it’s worth it: If there’s one liquid eyeliner that’s earned its place in countless makeup bags (and Allure editors’ hearts), it’s Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. This Best of Beauty winner has a felt-tip applicator that gives you total control, so you can go from a barely-there definition to more bold, graphic wings. Unlike many waterproof formulas, it won’t skip or tug at your lids. We’re obsessed with the shade range, which makes everything from a classic, inky black to a bold violet that somehow makes jeans and a white tee feel like a full look.Deanna Pai applying the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Deanna PaiPai after applying the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Deanna PaiTester feedback from contributing commerce editor Deanna PaiAccordionItemContainerButton"I don't have the steadiest hand, but I've found the relatively firm brush of Stila's liquid liner to be especially forgiving. It never skips or drags on my lid as I'm drawing, and the color truly doesn't budge once it sets."—Deanna Pai, contributing commerce editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Precision: Chanel Le Liner de Chanel Liquid EyelinerChanelLe Liner de Chanel Liquid EyelinerWhy it’s worth it: Commitment-phobes, beware—once you swipe on Le Liner de Chanel, it’s not backing down. While it’s not fully waterproof, the latex-based, water-resistant formula stays put through long days with zero flaking or smudging. The ultra-fine felt tip glides on like silk (Chanel wouldn’t have it any other way), making it easy to nail everything from the tiniest kitten flick to a full-on cat eye. And while we haven’t seen it available in classic black in a while, can we tempt you with rich brown, deep maroon, jewel-toned plum, or a sultry dark red? Trust us—any of them will look French-level chic.Sarah Hoffmann applying the Chanel Le Liner de Chanel Liquid Eyeliner Sarah HoffmannHoffmann after applying the Chanel Le Liner de Chanel Liquid Eyeliner Sarah HoffmannAccordionItemContainerButton"My days of thick, forgiving winged eyeliner are long behind me, so I'm all about precision and control with my eyeliner formulas these days. Chanel's Le Liner de Chanel has a fine tip applicator that's quite stiff compared to others I've tried, which I find to be ideal for keeping my lines tight and clean. The formula is definitely a liquid but not so loose that it's runny and stressful—I love dragging my fingertip along the outer wing to slightly soften the tip—and this eyeliner has just enough viscosity that I can safely manipulate the wing with my fingers without fear that I'm going to end up with inky fingerprints all over my face. You can do a lot with this eyeliner which really helps justify the price tag, IMO." —Sarah Hoffmann, commerce producerAccordionItemContainerButtonBest for Oily Lids: Isamaya Micro Eye LinerWhy it’s worth it: Isamaya was born from the avant-garde genius of Isamaya Ffrench, the boundary-pushing British makeup artist known for transforming faces (like Rihanna’s) into art. The Isamaya Eyeliner captures that same fearless spirit. “It’s smudge-proof, which is perfect if you tend to have a more oily lid,” says Sanchez. “The pigment is beautiful, and the fine brush tip gives an easy one-swipe application.” Our tester found the liner glided on effortlessly and was seriously impressed by its staying power, even with her perpetually teary eyes.Christa Joanna Lee applying the Isamaya Micro Eye Liner Christa Joanna LeeChrista Joanna Lee after applying the Isamaya Micro Eye Liner Christa Joanna LeeAccordionItemContainerButtonAs someone with monolids, I usually go for a thicker line so my eyeliner actually shows up—but the Isamaya Eyeliner is so fine, I feel like I could sketch artwork with it. While it’s not the most pigmented in a single swipe (I do have to layer it a bit), that actually works in its favor when I want to get super close to the lash line. It’s amazing for creating a really subtle, clean, precise look.” —Christa Joanna Lee, contributing commerce writerAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Ergonomic: Urban Decay 24/7 Inks Liquid LinerUrban Decay24/7 Inks Liquid EyelinerSenior news editor Nicola Dall'Asen after applying the Urban Decay 24/7 Inks Liquid Liner Why it’s worth it: Urban Decay has a long track record of racking up Allure Best of Beauty and Readers’ Choice Awards, thanks to its bold colorways and high-impact pigments (we’re still obsessed with their OG eyeliner pencil, the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil). The Urban Decay 24/7 Ink Liquid Liner carries that same legacy, delivering punchy color and serious precision. Each shade comes equipped with either a brush or a felt tip. According to the brand’s R&D team, some pigment particles, especially in pastels and shimmers, are larger and need a brush tip to flow smoothly, while others work best with felt. Regardless of the format, the result is a seamless application, whether you're going for a razor-sharp wing or bold graphic lines. The waterproof, quick-drying formula stays locked in place, and the ergonomic pen design—inspired by actual no-slip paint brushes you’d find in a craft store—gives you pro-level control.AccordionItemContainerButton“I initially tested three of the nine shades: stark white Ozone, lime green Freak, and neon yellow Mucho Mucho. Because these colors are so bright they have bigger pigment particles and are notoriously hard to find in a high-quality liquid pen format. Nevertheless, when I swiped on the green and yellow, they were nearly opaque (keep in mind, I have very fair skin), and the white shade was closer to opaque than any other liquid white I've encountered. It reached full opacity with just a little layering, which, for a white shade, is no biggie in my book. Every time I wear these liners, each color dries down immediately and doesn't budge until met with an oil or balm cleanser. The hype about the built-in grip is real. Having a designated place where your fingers can lay flat provides comfort, as opposed to a slick, curved surface, and that comfort fosters confidence during the application process.” —Nicola Dall’Asen, senior news editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Pigment: MAC Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof EyelinerMACLiquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof EyelinerWhy it’s worth it: When a former beauty editor first tried MAC’s Liquidlast 24-Hour Waterproof Eyeliner, the pigment was so intense, people genuinely thought it was a tattoo. And honestly? They weren’t wrong to ask. Its jet-black formula glides on with inky precision and dries down to a bulletproof finish that stays sharp for up to 24 hours (yes, really). “This liquid liner is always one of my favorite products due to its high performance and the fact that it is transfer-resistant,” says Boston-based makeup artist Sarai Martinez. “It delivers a super-rich look. I use it to create a precise line when applying—it's one of the best on the market, especially for professional use.” She especially loves reaching for it on wedding days or anytime a client needs serious staying power. Bottom line: If you want a liner that shows up and sticks around, this one's it.AccordionItemContainerButton“I've been a devotee to black liquid liner for one-third of my life. Combine the intensity of the pigment with its matte, skin-like finish and you have the Liquidlast Liner mimicking the effect of a fresh tattoo. The pigment can be painted on with the M.A.C. Liquidlast Liner's paintbrush-like applicator, which is thin enough to create sharp wings and delicate shapes, though it can also fan out for thicker, bolder lines. Before you decide to wash it away, the liner won't smear, smudge, or run, no matter how much you sweat, cry, or get caught in a torrential downpour.” —Devon Abelman, former beauty editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest for Beginners: KVD Beauty Tattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid EyelinerKVD BeautyTattoo Liner Waterproof Liquid EyelinerWhy it’s worth it: There’s a reason KVD Beauty’s Tattoo Liner Vegan Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner has tattoo in the name—it’s that serious about staying power. This cult-favorite liquid liner delivers ultra-saturated pigment with a needle-precise brush tip that makes flicks, wings, and graphic lines feel weirdly doable (even if you’ve had one too many coffees). One tester previously noted, “Unlike most liner pens, the applicator is a very fine tip that makes it easy to achieve the sharp point I like when drawing on my winged liner.” It’s vegan, waterproof, and trusted by pros and beginners alike for its unmatched control and longevity.AccordionItemContainerButtonI've put this liner through the ringer, wearing it to work, wedding receptions, and even two workout classes in a row. (Now I know wearing makeup to the gym isn’t a great idea, but when you can only make it to evening gym sessions — and you're always running late to them — something's gotta give.) So what happened after this accidental gym experiment? The Tattoo Liner fulfilled its tattoo-like indelibility. At the end of my two classes, when my entire face of makeup was on my towel (foundation, blush, contouring), there was not a trace of black liner to be seen. The flow of product is smooth (so no blobbing or skipping), but the pigmentation isn’t always as dark as I prefer. Luckily, that's easily fixed by simply tracing over lighter areas, which you can do easily without disrupting the original line underneath.” —Katheeln Suico, former beauty editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Dual-Ended: Tom Ford Eye Defining PenWhy it’s worth it: If eyeliner is one of your desert island essentials and your budget has a little wiggle room, Tom Ford’s Eye Defining Pen is 100% worth the splurge. At first glance, the price might make you blink twice—but here’s the thing: you’re basically getting two liners in one. The double-ended design features a super-fine brush tip on one side for razor-sharp precision to create thin lines and a slightly thicker calligraphy tip on the other for bolder eye looks, so you can switch up your style without switching tools. Add in the ultra-black, smudge-resistant formula, suddenly the cost feels a whole lot easier to justify.AccordionItemContainerButton“I’ve used this eyeliner for years—primarily the thicker end, which I find to be easier to control. Since it’s a little longer than other applicators, I find that it’s more forgiving when my hands are shaking. And because it’s not capital-W waterproof, I have time to clean up any mistakes before it sets.” —Deanna Pai, contributing commerce editorAccordionItemContainerButtonBest Black: Fenty Beauty Flyliner Longwear Liquid EyelinerFenty BeautyFlyliner Liquid EyelinerWhy it’s worth it: Fenty Beauty’s Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner doesn’t just serve sharp lines—it serves attitude. The jet-black shade is called "Cuz I'm Black," a nod to her now-legendary Twitter clapback heard ‘round the world. Like the name, this liner pulls no punches: “This liquid liner provides super precision and a long-lasting finish that is highly saturated and waterproof,” says Martinez. “I like this liner because of its special tip, which gives an easy application, and it doesn’t run on the lid, leaving you with a cleaner look.” In short: It’s sharp, saturated, and unapologetically fierce—just like RiRi herself.AccordionItemContainerButtonIf jet-black feels a little too bold for your everyday vibe, try Flyliner in In Big Truffle, a rich matte brown that’s especially perfect for enhancing brown or blue eyes.AccordionItemContainerButtonBest Drugstore: Wet n Wild Mega Last Breakup-Proof Liquid EyelinerWet n WildBreakup Proof Liquid EyelinerWhy it’s worth it: When it comes to Wet n Wild’s Mega Last Breakup-Proof Liquid Eyeliner, the name really does say it all. “It will not budge, and it’s so easy to use since it’s a felt tip,” says Rose Siard, a makeup artist based in Houston, Texas and founder of Rose and Ben. Whether you're crying over actual heartbreak, sweating through the dog days of summer, or just caught in a downpour without an umbrella, this liner stays locked in for up to 16 hours. The felt tip glides on effortlessly, even if you're not exactly steady-handed. And the best part is that it delivers that kind of performance without blowing your budget.AccordionItemContainerButtonLet the first layer dry for a few seconds before applying any additional layers to reduce the risk of smudging.AccordionItemContainerButtonFrequently Asked QuestionsWhat's the best long-wearing liquid eyeliner for mature skin?If you have mature skin, the skin around the eyes tends to become thinner, drier, and more delicate, which makes it trickier to get a smooth, even line. The best long-lasting eyeliner for mature skin, then, should have a gentle glide, grip, and staying power without calling attention to fine lines or crepey lids. A precise felt- or brush-tip applicator is ideal for easy control, and a waterproof or water-resistant formula is helpful if you want your liner to last all day long. Chanel Le Liner de Chanel Liquid Eyeliner, above, offers just that, according to Martinez. “It has a matte finish and a precise tip that glides on easily and stays put—even on hooded eyes or maturing lids—creating a smoother, more lifted look,” she says. How do you make liquid eyeliner stay on all day?To make liquid eyeliner stay put, your eye makeup look all begins with the prep. “Make sure that your eyes are oil-free to start with,” says Martinez. “That would require using an eye primer, then using either a clear mineral powder or a regular face toning powder to dust off any type of moisture on the lid.”Once you’ve created that matte, grippy base, reach for a smudge-resistant formula on your lash line and give it a few seconds to fully dry before blinking or layering. Top it off with a waterproof or water-resistant mascara to prevent smudging.Meet the expertsHow we test and review productsBefore reviewing any makeup, we ask questions about a number of factors: What ingredients are in it? Does the brand offer a wide, inclusive shade range with all skin tones and undertones? Is it safe for readers who have sensitive skin or wear contact lenses? Is it on the affordable side or more of a splurge? Is the packaging consciously designed or needlessly wasteful? For our review of the best long-lasting eyeliners, we enlisted the help of multiple editors, writers, contributors, and makeup artists. This ensures our testing base spans different skin tones, genders, and dermatological conditions. We considered each product's performance across four primary categories: ingredients, wear and longevity, packaging, and inclusivity. Stanley Ice Flow Tumbler Review — Is It Really Worth the Hype?

Let’s be real: I’ve gone through way too many water bottles over the years — some leaked, some didn’t keep my drinks cold, and a few just looked… meh. But the Stanley IceFlow Stainless Steel Tumbler? Total game-changer.
It’s sleek, surprisingly sturdy, and actually keeps ice frozen for what feels like forever. Whether you’re headed to the gym, running errands, or just trying to drink more water (hi, me), this tumbler might just become your new everyday essential.
⭐ What Makes It Stand Out?
Here’s the lowdown:
✅ Flip Straw That Doesn’t Leak Yep, it’s legit. I’ve tossed this into my gym bag, dropped it on its side in the car — it never leaks as long as that lid’s snapped shut.
❄️ Ice-Cold for Hours This thing holds ice for nearly two days. I tested it on a scorching Saturday, and by the next morning, I still had clinking ice cubes.
🧲 Seriously Tough Build Made with BPA-free 18/8 stainless steel. I dropped mine on concrete (oops), and it came away with just a scuff.
💼 Easy to Carry Anywhere The handle folds down (smart!) and it fits in cup holders. Great for road trips or just tossing in your tote.
♻️ Eco-Friendly Points It’s made partly from recycled materials, which I love — every little bit helps, right?
🔄 Lifetime Warranty Stanley’s been around since 1913, and they actually back their stuff. That says a lot these days.
🧪 Real-Life Use: How Does It Actually Perform?
I used it for everything — ice water, cold brew, even a thick smoothie. The insulation is top-tier. No sweating on the outside, and it kept everything ice-cold without fail.
The flip straw? A lifesaver when I’m driving or lifting at the gym. No tilting, no fuss — just sip and go. Plus, the ergonomic grip just feels good in hand.
🧩 What I Loved (And What I Didn’t)
✔️ Pros
Keeps drinks cold forever
One-handed sipping is super convenient
Drop-tested durable
Easy to carry, fits in cup holders
Great color options — mine’s this vibrant teal I’m obsessed with
Feels like it’ll last forever (and Stanley says it will)
❌ Cons
It’s not light — 1.3 lbs empty means it gets hefty when full
Cleaning the straw is… meh (you’ll need a brush, and they don’t include one)
Dishwasher-safe, but color can fade after a while
Not made for hot drinks — don’t try it
What Others Are Saying
I’m not the only one raving about this thing. Reddit folks, Amazon buyers, even pro testers all say pretty much the same thing:
“The 30oz version is perfect — slim, leakproof, and holds a ton of ice.”
“Dropped it in the parking lot, no dents, still zero leaks.”
“Straw cleaning is annoying, but worth it for how cold it keeps water.”
📏 20 oz vs. 30 oz — Which One’s Better?
Size Best For Pros Things to Keep in Mind20 oz Short workouts, smaller bags Lighter, super portableNeeds more frequent refills30 ozLong days, commutes, travelBigger hydration, fits cup holdersA bit heavier when full
My pick? The 30 oz. It’s just more versatile, and I refill less often.
💸 Is It Worth the Price?
Totally. It usually runs between $27–$45, depending on sales and size. Compared to other premium tumblers, it holds up just as well, maybe better — and it comes with that forever warranty.
Pro tip: Keep an eye on Amazon or Stanley’s site — there are often seasonal deals that knock the price down.
🏁 Final Verdict: Would I Recommend It?
Absolutely. If you’re sick of flimsy bottles that leak or don’t keep your drinks cold, the Stanley Ice Flow Tumbler is worth every penny. It looks great, works even better, and makes staying hydrated way easier (and, honestly, kind of fun).
It’s not perfect — you’ll need to clean the straw carefully, and it’s a little bulky — but those are small trade-offs for a bottle you’ll actually want to use every day.
🥇 Rating: 4.5 / 5 Stars
Buy it if: ✔️ You want cold drinks all day ✔️ Hate spills ✔️ Appreciate durable, eco-conscious design

Top 5 Quality Protein Powders for Muscle Growth and Recovery in 2025
In the dynamic world of fitness, quality protein powders are a go-to for athletes, gym-goers, and health enthusiasts aiming to boost their protein intake. Whether you're chasing muscle gains, faster recovery, or a balanced diet, a quality protein powder can be a game-changer. With countless options out there, picking the right one can feel overwhelming. Fret not! We've handpicked the top five quality protein powders for 2025, judged on taste, nutrition, ingredient purity, and third-party testing. These selections are crafted to fuel your fitness journey with flavor and reliability. Let’s get started!
1. Transparent Labs 100% Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate
Transparent Labs 100% Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate leads the pack for quality protein. Sourced from grass-fed cows, it delivers 28 grams of protein per serving with zero fat and minimal carbs, perfect for muscle building and weight control. Its clean formula skips artificial dyes, preservatives, and fillers, ensuring top-notch purity. Flavors like Cinnamon French Toast and Milk Chocolate mix smoothly into shakes or smoothies without clumping, earning rave reviews. Certified by Informed Sport, this quality protein powder guarantees no banned substances, making it ideal for competitive athletes. Though slightly premium-priced, its taste and nutrition make it worth every penny. Blend it post-workout for a tasty, muscle-repairing shake.
2. Ritual Essential Protein Daily Shake 18+
For plant-based quality protein, Ritual Essential Protein Daily Shake 18+ is a standout. This vegan powder, crafted from organic pea protein, offers 20 grams of protein per serving and a complete amino acid profile for muscle recovery. Its vanilla flavor, sweetened with monk fruit, avoids the gritty texture typical of plant-based powders, delivering a creamy shake when mixed with almond milk. Ritual’s transparency includes third-party testing for heavy metals and allergens, ensuring a quality protein you can trust. With 150 calories and 4 grams of fiber per serving, it supports fitness and digestion. Note its higher sodium content (290 mg per serving) if you’re watching intake.
3. MyProtein Impact Whey Protein
MyProtein Impact Whey Protein proves you don’t need to break the bank for quality protein. This whey concentrate delivers 23 grams of protein per 25-gram serving, packed with 4.5 grams of BCAAs and all essential amino acids for muscle growth and recovery. With over 40 flavors like Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla, it blends effortlessly with water or milk, dodging any chalky aftertaste. Labdoor-certified for quality and value, it’s a gym-goer’s favorite for versatility—mix it into shakes, oatmeal, or protein pancakes. While whey concentrate may digest slower than isolate for some, its affordability and flavor make it a quality protein essential.
4. Garden of Life Sport Whey Protein
Garden of Life Sport Whey Protein, certified by NSF and Informed Choice, is a quality protein powder built for athletes. Each 33-gram serving offers 24 grams of protein and 2 grams of fiber, with a rich chocolate flavor that’s authentic without being overly sweet. Sourced from grass-fed whey, it includes probiotics for gut health, making it a holistic choice for recovery. Its smooth texture creates a milkshake-like experience with milk, though it’s thinner with water. This powder’s clean ingredients and third-party certifications ensure a quality protein product for performance-driven individuals. It’s a bit pricier, but the added nutrients justify the cost.
5. Free Soul Vegan Protein Blend
Free Soul Vegan Protein Blend, designed for women but great for all, wraps up our list of quality protein powders. Combining pea and white hemp protein, it provides 20 grams of protein per serving, plus vitamins like B12 and iron for energy and recovery. Its chocolate flavor, sweetened with stevia, offers a dessert-like taste without artificial notes. Testers love its creamy texture with oat milk, though it may foam when shaken. Free Soul’s GMO-free, gluten-free, and soy-free formula delivers a quality protein option for diverse diets. At roughly £1.50 per serving, it’s a budget-friendly vegan choice for muscle support.
Choosing the Right Protein Powder
Picking a quality protein powder hinges on your diet, fitness goals, and budget. Whey-based options like Transparent Labs and MyProtein excel for muscle growth with high protein and complete amino acid profiles. Plant-based powders like Ritual and Free Soul suit vegans or those with dairy sensitivities, offering similar benefits with added nutrients. Prioritize third-party certifications (e.g., NSF, Informed Choice, or Labdoor) for purity and safety. Taste and mixability matter too—choose a powder you’ll enjoy drinking regularly. Check serving sizes and extras like sugars or sodium if you’re tracking macros closely.
Final Thoughts
Navigating the sea of quality protein powders is easier with Transparent Labs, Ritual, MyProtein, Garden of Life, and Free Soul leading the way. These powders shine in quality, taste, and nutrition, catering to muscle growth, recovery, or daily protein needs. Consult a dietitian or doctor if you’re unsure about your protein requirements, especially with health conditions or pregnancy. With the right quality protein powder in your shaker, you’re set to smash your fitness goals in 2025!

Chapter 13: New Tech and Training
The supercomputer beeped, processing the data from the latest battle like a hungry fiend.
"Power increases…exceeding expectations. Higher challenge initiated," the computer said, as its output tubes glowed and fed the magenta slime into the water that would usually trek down into the Harbor or lakes of Storybrooke. But this time, the infected water passed through the barrier around the United Realms and into the open waters. It would spread and soon reach the shores of the outside world…
~*~
That morning, Flynn made a trip to Hyde's lab; the one he was supposed to make the day before, but that had been circumvented by the battle in Andresia. He was in a good mood, but then finding out the woman you loved felt the same and was your true love would do that. He blasted two drones on the way to the University, but not even that could ruin his mood.
"Ah…good to see you, lad," Hiram said.
"You guys look like you've been busy," Flynn replied.
"Oh…quite so. We've never had so much fascinating work before and I think you'll be impressed with the prototypes we've come up with for you to test out," Hiram said, as Hyde motioned him over to the table.
"With your biological mother's detailed instructions and blueprints, we were able to replicate the capsule technology. Now, mass production is probably a few years away, but if the University is impressed with the products, then they will likely approve the grants for production," Hyde said. The University was very intrigued with the new technology and had provided the initial investment for them to create the first prototypes.
"Yes…since you are the heir to all of this, you will be our tester," Hiram added.
"Glad to," Flynn replied, as Hyde handed him the first capsule and they stepped outside into the open air of the campus. Flynn pressed the trigger of the capsule and tossed it to the group. With a puff of smoke, a motorcycle appeared.
"Wow…" Flynn said, looking at the sleek design.
"Now…we know you can fly, but we urge you to test it for us," Hiram said.
"Sure…" Flynn replied.
"The wheels also fold under and it becomes a hover bike," Hyde said. Flynn's eyes widened.
"You figured out hover technology?" he asked in shock.
"No…your biological mother did that or perhaps your biological grandfather. The equations were all there for us to experiment with and it works," Hyde replied.
"I didn't think the hover tech was viable unless it was at absolute zero," Flynn said.
"It's not…but like he said, the formulas, equations, and materials are all there in the blueprints," Hiram replied.
"She really was amazing…" Flynn uttered, as he became thoughtful about Bulma.
"Truly…she is someone I would have been honored to meet," Hyde said.
"Yes…now this one you'll want to throw a bit further. It's a prototype for the capsule house," Hiram said, as he did so and was in awe of the structure that appeared before him.
"For plumbing hookups, it's quite easy if you open the control panel and deploy the sanitation system. The pipes burrow into the ground and can connect with existing sewer systems. But they can operate a temporary sanitation system, similar to camping for temporary locations," Hyde explained.
"This is amazing," Flynn said.
"We know that you still live with your parents still, but if you perhaps needed somewhere with a bit of privacy, you could utilize the prototype. There are security windows that are tinted so that no drones can see in," Hiram replied. Flynn grinned.
"I'm sure Ari and I can test this out," he said, as he moved to the last capsule.
"What's this one?" Flynn asked.
"That is what we believe is Saiyan armor. There was a blueprint included with everything else and there is a rough sketch depicting a person wearing it. We are taking a leap and assuming that this is something your mother made for your father, since he would have no longer had access to any new armor," Hyde replied, as Flynn opened the capsule and the case inside, finding the armor and matching boots.
"I think…there was something like this in the books I've been reading, but this looks like a much sleeker, upgraded version," Flynn said.
"Yes…we're hoping you'd test it out too in your training," Hiram said.
"Sure thing…" he said, as he saw two utility belts in the second compartment of the box.
"What are these?" Flynn asked.
"Ah…now those must be used with great consideration and care. They are not experimental and will work as designed, but they could cause serious injury if you and your brother are not ready for them," Hyde warned.
"They are gravity belts. In the blueprints, we found plans for a gravity training chamber, but that would take months to build and we just don't have time," Hiram said.
"We applied the gravity technology into a more mobile version. That belt will increase the gravity just for you and assist in your training. Apparently, your mother built something like this. We assume for your father," Hyde added.
"I wondered if Saiyans were a little touched in the head when I saw this, because who would want to make themselves heavier to the point it feels like their organs are being crushed, but if you can stand it, I suppose it could accelerate your training," Hiram said.
"I think I read that my father's home planet had ten times the normal gravity of Earth. This could really be something!" Flynn exclaimed.
"Touched in the head it is," Hiram muttered in amusement.
"Don't worry…I'm sure we can handle it," Flynn said, capsulizing the box and putting the capsule in his pocket.
"You did amazing work…I guess those business classes I took might come in handy someday, but I'm glad I have you guys in research and development," Flynn said. They nodded.
"The private sector does have its appeal and we're happy to work with such technology while you're fighting to save us all," Hiram said.
"Which means I better head to training for the day," he said, as he capsulized the other items and then flew off for the islands of Mu.

Shin observed the two boys' training through his crystal ball, with a hopeful expression.
"I must admit, they are quite powerful for being mere mortals," Kibito admitted.
"Yes…they have learned so incredibly fast. I'm just not sure it will be enough in time. I have been reviewing this evil's last universe it destroyed. It encountered some very powerful resistance and was weakened significantly, before it ultimately won. It is still recovering and I believe it enjoys playing with Saiyans," Shin said.
"But I fear that it won't be long until it gets serious and I cannot be sure they will be ready by then. We need more time," he added. Kibito sighed.
"Then you are considering bringing them here…where time passes much faster," he said.
"We may need to," Shin confirmed.
"Perhaps this new technology will pay off…but I still think we must consider that he may be the one," he added.
"The one, Sire?" Kibito asked, as he followed his Master's gaze to the z sword, stuck in its stone, where it had remained unmovable for centuries.
"Sire…you can't be serious!? No mere mortal could extract the sword! Not even the greatest Kais have succeeded in that!" Kibito shouted.
"Perhaps it's not just about strength, Kibito…I have learned a sword with a similar story exists in this realm too and every single one from this family had the ability to pull it from its stone without destruction befalling them. It had more to do with the heart than the strength. Perhaps a Kai is not meant to pull it from the stone," Shin suggested.
"Sire…you can't seriously be considering bringing those boys here to train? This is sacred ground! It was bad enough we let their Gods bring their mortal parents here! Had they not held Gaia's chalice, it would have been defilement upon this sacred planet!" Kibito protested.
"Yes…sacred ground for a Kai that has no universe to rule and protect. Do you think such trivialness really matters at this point, Kibito?" Shin asked, with a sharp glance. The white haired man pulled in his horns at that and bowed respectfully.
"I am sorry, Sire…I will respect your decisions," he said, but still was clearly not happy about the prospect of two mortal children traipsing on these grounds.
"If they survive their next challenge…then they will be worthy to ascend to these hallowed training grounds," Shin said. Kibito was silent and did not protest further. He was skeptical that these mortal children could do what a Kai could not.

"Are you sure about this?" Bobby asked.
"No…" Flynn replied.
"Boys…I'm sure Mr. Hyde's invention will work and serve you well," the Dragon said.
"Oh we're not worried about it not working. We're worried about it working too well and being flattened like a pancake," Bobby quipped.
"It does sound dangerous…and your mother is going to kill me if you two end up in the emergency room again," David fretted.
"If it works though…imagine the power leap in such a short time," Mulan said.
"If you two master ten times normal gravity, it will be like your opponents are moving in slow motion around you," she said. They thought about it for a moment and then grinned at each other.
"That would be pretty cool," Flynn said.
"Yeah…let's do this," Bobby replied. David shook his head in amusement, as they each turned their gravity belts on.
"Holy crap!" Bobby cried.
"Shit…" Flynn cursed, as they were both flattened to the ground, muscles straining just to not collapse in on themselves. Bobby used his magic to encase himself in a barrier and the gravity was alleviated a bit. Flynn raised his ki and it was the same, as they slowly pulled themselves to their feet.
"I feel like I weigh a ton," Bobby said.
"Me too…I can't believe this was the gravity all the time on Planet Vegeta," Flynn replied.
"No wonder Saiyans are so strong," he said, as they took a few heavy steps toward each other. It was very slow at first, but they started exchanging simple punches and blocks with each other. As that got easier within an hour, they were onto kicks, both sweating buckets like never before.
"It's getting slightly easier…" Flynn said, through his heavy panting.
"Yeah…I think it is," Bobby agreed, as they kept going.
"Incredible…this shouldn't even be possible," Mulan mentioned.
"No…but it doesn't seem that either of them have any limits. My son is completely human, but you wouldn't know it the way he keeps up with Flynn," David said.
"Your other children could probably do this too," Mulan replied.
"Yeah…but they have families now and I'm reluctant to push them to train at this level. They don't enjoy it like these two and that could be more harm than good," David said. She nodded.
"You're probably right…I think it's all on these two, fair or not," Mulan agreed. He nodded.
"They'll be there to help with magic and even learn ki if they want to, but these two are the hope for this entire world," David said. It was so much to put on their shoulders. His own son had seemingly been born for this. He was like a conductor for all magic and could master it all. Then there was Flynn. He was a troubled teen when Charming had first met him, but even though he had plenty of reason to have mistrust with police and authority, he chose to come forward to tell them what he had overheard. Even with all the unfair things his life had dealt him up to that point, he felt the need to protect the United Realms from what could have been destruction. It turned out he was the first person to ever see Rourke's face and had led them to defeating him in the end.
Now he was fighting and training to protect the United Realms on the front lines this time and was probably the key to saving the entire universe. Their powers still awed him, as he looked at them in the sky now. Despite the overwhelming gravity, they had nearly mastered it in an afternoon and now blazed in the sky in twin orbs of bluish gold and greenish gold. For more than two hours, they both worked on summoning their ki attacks in the increased gravity and even invented some new ones.
"Truly remarkable…" the Dragon commented.
"Yes…they are," a voice said, as they turned and David's eyes widened, as he saw Shin there with his attendant, Kibito. Aphrodite and his twin brother were behind them and he immediately bowed respectfully. The Dragon seemed to know who they were as well and lowered his head in submission.
"Fa Mulan…that is the Supreme Kai! Do not dishonor your father and bow," the Dragon implored and she dropped into a deep bow as well.
"What brings you to the United Realms, if I may ask, Supreme Kai?" David asked respectfully, as his eyes were on the sky.
"It is hard to believe that these mere children have only been training to use ki for a few months. The progress is remarkable in such a short time and I think I have a way they may be able to take it to the next level," Shin said. Kibito grumbled next to him.
"Any help from someone like you would be an honor," David said.
"Yes…in three days time, they will come to the sacred world of the Kai's and train," he announced, as the boys landed on the ground. The brothers exchanged a glance.
"What if there is danger here?" Flynn asked.
"You will bow to your Supreme Kai, boy!" Kibito said sharply, but Shin raised his hand.
"Kibito…I appreciate you defending me, but it is not necessary. He means no disrespect," Shin said. Flynn nodded and bowed.
"No…I don't," Flynn confirmed.
"You have a system of portals, yes?" Shin asked. They nodded.
"Yes…our watches allow us to portal just about anywhere," Bobby replied.
"If there is danger…we will send you back immediately, but I feel that if you come to train on my world, it will push you to the next level in no time. It would be like training for years in just a handful of days," Shin said.
"Wow…really?" Bobby asked. He nodded.
"We accept," Flynn agreed.
"Excellent…your Aunt and Uncle will bring you in three days and then we will see if you are truly the ones that will save the universes," Shin said, as Kibito grumbled beside him.
"Forgive my attendant…he is not happy about mortals being allowed on the sacred grounds, but I am not arrogant enough to hide the fact you will soon surpass even me in power," the Kai revealed. That shocked all of them.
"That…that can't be true," Flynn uttered. Shin smirked.
"You will soon see, young one," he said, as they turned and disappeared through a portal.
"Well…that was unexpected," Bobby said. One cue, their stomachs both let out a loud growl and David chuckled.
"I'd say we should call it a day and meet your mother at Granny's," he said.
"Good…I'm starved," they said simultaneously.
"Training with the Supreme Kai is quite a rare and spectacular honor, young ones. We will all be proud," the Dragon said. They nodded and bowed to their Sensei, as their training ended for the day.

"Major General Gray," the scientist greeted, as the imposing man entered the lab. Being a government black site, most of the lab was filled with brilliant, yet pale and socially awkward scientists that were rarely allowed to leave the vicinity. All the amenities of the outside world were brought to them and they were housed within the government facility. General Gray had been groomed by General Mendoza himself, serving under him almost his entire military career. When the General was killed, his projects had been shut down, thanks to Major General Patricia Donovan, who had sided with the enemy against her country. She was a traitor as far as he was concerned, but she was officially a liaison between the United States and the United Realms. He had been outraged and he wasn't alone. The secret cabal that Clayton had operated with for years was nearly decimated by the Charmings and their magical children, but they didn't get all of them. There was still a faction within most of the powerful institutions in the country and around the world. They were much smaller, but money was still no object and thus this black site had been born. They had their scientists working tirelessly in the past five years to realize weapons that could combat magic and now ki energy as well.
What they had ready was in its infancy, but his scientists believed they were at least ready to test their prototypes. After all, testing them against those they wished to destroy was the only way to learn and make them strong enough to defeat them in the end.
He looked at the test subjects that were ready. Cybernetics were a tricky thing and they were still a ways away from their cyborg subjects being ready for battle. They had found several willing to submit to the cybernetic experiments with the promise of super powers and eternal youth. It was painstaking work though, but robotics was a different story. Their first three prototypes that were ready were fully synthetic. Human looking androids. He had no doubt that these three would be turned to scrap metal upon encountering the Charming whelps, but that was their purpose. To test their enemies and provide mountains of data that could eventually lead them to success.
"How will we lure the Charmings out of their Kingdom? They almost never leave that place," the lead scientist asked. She was one of the best and had her own reasons for hating everything and everyone from that place. Rather than hinder her though, her emotion drove her to see that justice was served.
"Patience Dr. Green…the right opportunity to lure them out will present itself," General Gray said.
"Run the final diagnostics…we will deploy them at the first opportune moment," he said.
