the place to arrive and depart from in liège is definitely the new central station. it was designed by the famous architect santiago calatrava and the building is definitely a masterpiece. at the time of taking the photos, the roof was still covered with the vinyl foils of the artwork 'comme tombées du ciel, les couleurs in situ et en mouvement' by daniel buren. unfortunately, the installation only lasted until the summer of this year. sadly, the installation only lasted until the summer of this year, so I can't say whether they've been removed, but in my opinion, they could have stayed, and I think many residents feel the same.

der ort des ankommens und des abschieds in liège ist definitiv der neue hauptbahnhof. der entwurf stammt vom bekannten architekten santiago calatrava und das bauwerk ist definitiv ein meisterwerk. zur zeit der aufnahmen war das dach noch mit den vinylfolien des kunstwerkes "comme tombées du ciel, les couleurs in situ et en mouvement" von daniel buren beklebt. die daraus resultierenden lichtsituationen sind grandios. leider lief die installation nur bis sommer diesen jahres und ich kann nicht sagen, ob sie schon entfernt wurden. von mir aus hätten sie aber bleiben können, und ich denke viele einwohner und besucher sehen es ebenso.

2023 Europe Stadium Tour Photos 3: Oliver Riedel

More of my photos from the 2023 Europe Stadium Tour. It is not a secret that Oliver Riedel is my favourite Rammstein member, but it was really challenging to photograph him this tour. His initial outfit had his entire face covered by the visor, and when he took it off, my camera didn't want to focus on his face because of his dark make-up. I have so many bad, unfocused shots of him, but fortunately, some turned out okay.

L: 20.05.2023 LIFAD Rehearsal. I may or may not have screamed when Oliver Riedel first walked onto the stage wearing his new costume. It was surreal. R: 22.05.2023 Vilnius. I failed getting a proper shot of his new outfit during the rehearsal, but managed to get a good one during the first regular show.

I said: ‘Of course! Do you already have someone for the cover?’ It turned out that they had already chosen someone else», said artist and photographer Bryan Adams to Berliner Zeitung. «That was okay with me. I then worked quite closely with the Rammstein people to find a good location for the photo shoot. By chance, I came across this funny tower. I asked the band if it would be okay for them to take a few pictures up there. They were up for it. Later, the management called me: Rammstein love this photo. Du stießt dann nach ein paar Minuten dazu, der Stylist musste noch ein wenig was an deinem Kleid machen, aus dem Grund hat es ein wenig gedauert. Als er dich so sah in diesem Dunkelrotem Kleid, viel es ihm schwer nicht auf deine Kurven zu schauen, es schmiegt perfekt an deinem Körper. Der Fotograf gab euch Anweisungen wie ihr zu posieren müsst. Die erste Pose verlangte, das du mit dem Rücken zu ihm standest und er direkt hinter dir mit seiner Hand auf deiner Taille, deine linke Hand lag dabei an seiner Wange.  Er sah leicht zur Seite hinunter zu dir und dann wurden die Fotos gemacht. Die Member waren mit sich selbst beschäftigt und bemerkten nicht die sehnsüchtigen Blicke die ihr euch zuwarft. Er beugte sich leicht nach unten um dein Ohr zu Erreichen, er flüsterte in einer tiefen Tonlage in dein Ohr:" gott...wieso siehst du heute nur so Sexy aus....so kann ich mich kaum konzentrieren....wenn wir hier fertig sind gehen wir so schnell wie möglich in mein Studio". Deine Wangen färbten sich bei seinen Worten leicht rosa und eine Gänsehaut überzog deinen kompletten Körper. Er war nicht der einzige der in dem Moment erregt war. Dankend lächeltest du ihn an und seine Wangen färbten sich sofort rosa, er konnte schwören das, seine Wangen nicht das einzige waren, die deswegen warm wurden. Er war so nervös, das er nicht wusste wie ihr euch Positionieren solltet, er ging immer wieder umher und überlegte, du musstest deswegen leicht kichern, das machte ihn nur noch nervöser. Der Fotograf konnte sich das nicht länger ansehen, er gab einfach eine Anweisung.  Inseong stand seitlich da mit dir, während du dein Bein ein wenig anhobst, seine Hand lang an deinem Rücken genau über deinem Po und deine Hände lagen an seiner breiten Brust.  Es waren sehr schöne Fotos,  die Member waren beeindruckt, das es so gut aussah.  Da du dich so weit an ihn lehnst,  konnte er genau in deinen Ausschnitt sehen und erhaschte sich dadurch unabsichtlich einen kurzen Blick. Das war sein Ende, er legte seine andere Hand an deinen Hinterkopf, damit du dich ihm nicht entziehen kannst und küsste dich wie aus dem Nichts. Du erwidertest natürlich den Kuss, dabei vergisst du völlig, das alle anderen und der Fotograf, das grade gesehen haben. Du merktest, als der Kuss sich löste, das er seine Umgebung genau so wie du vergaß. Mit roten Wangen blickte er umher und bemerkt die Stille.  "hah..haha  okay das müsste an Fotos jetzt reichen, ich muss kurz mit Y/N reden" er zog dich hinter sich her, bis ihr in der Umkleide verschwand. Dort angekommen, schubste er dich leicht auf eins der Sofa und schloss die Tür dann ab,  du wusstest was jetzt kommt, so ungeduldig hast du ihn schon lange nicht mehr gesehen. Man konnte es wegen dir zum Glück nicht sehen, aber du konntest vorhin die ganze zeit seine Erektion an dir spüren. "hah..haha okay that should be enough photos for now, I have to talk to Y/N for a moment" he pulled you behind him until you disappeared into the changing room. When he got there, he pushed you lightly onto one of the sofas and then locked the door. You knew what was coming, you hadn't seen him so impatient in a long time. Letzte Woche habe ich mir einen kleinen Ausflug durch unser kleines Sonnensystem genehmigt (für einen größeren Ausflug habe ich momentan zu wenig Zeit).

Mit dem neuen Raumgleitflitzer EGO3000 war das eine recht komfortable Sache. (Und das Ding ist schnell! Eine Astronomische Einheit (1 AE) legt er in weniger als 10 Sekunden zurück. Dank der neuen AntiGrav-Funktion spürt man so gut wie nichts davon, feine Sache).

Da Sol1 (also unsere Sonne) gerade wieder viel Protuberanzen hatte, entschied ich mich in Richtung Pluto abzubiegen. Der hing jedoch wie üblich etwas trostlos in seiner Umlaufbahn herum, und ich verspürte wenig Lust zu einem Spaziergang auf ihm. Kälte und Nebel kann man ja überall haben...

Mit gedrosselter Geschwindigkeit ging es darum weiter, mein neues Ziel war der Kuiper-Gürtel, von dem man ja noch lange nicht alles weiß, weil unsere Star-Astronomen natürlich lieber irgendeine Supernova untersuchen, als einen Haufen kalter Steine. Somit gilt dieses Gebiet als nahezu unerforscht, ganz ähnlich wie unsere Meere auf der Erde.

Jedenfalls gondelte ich gemütlich am Rand des Kuiper-Gürtels entlang, stellte den Antrieb des Gleiters ab, bremste mich auf Rotationsgeschwindigkeit der "Geröllhalde" (wie ich sie nenne) ab und ließ mich treiben.

Un was, glaubt ihr, bekam ich nach kurzer Zeit zu sehen?

Leider weiß ich es selber nicht, auch eine Schnellabfrage durch den Bordcomputer brachte keine Erkenntnis. Somit kann ich euch nur ein Foto zeigen, welches die Bordkamera selbsttätig aufgenommen hat (wer mehr dazu weiß oder Informationen hat, um was es sich handelt, kontaktiere mich bitte):

Last week I took a little excursion through our small solar system (I don't have enough time for a larger excursion at the moment). With the new space glider EGO3000 it was quite comfortable. (And the thing is fast! It covers an astronomical unit (1 AU) in less than 10 seconds. Thanks to the new AntiGrav function, you hardly feel anything of it, nice thing). Since Sol1 (our sun) just had a lot of prominences again, I decided to turn towards Pluto. However, as usual, it hung around a bit desolately in its orbit, and I felt little desire to walk on it. You can have cold and fog everywhere... So it went on at reduced speed, my new goal was the Kuiper Belt, which we still don't know everything about, because our star astronomers naturally prefer to study any supernova than a heap of cold stones. Thus, this area is considered almost unexplored, much like our oceans on earth. Anyway, I cruised comfortably along the edge of the Kuiper Belt, switched off the glider's drive, slowed down to the rotation speed of the "scree slope" (as I call it) and let myself drift. "Mach' dir keine Gedanken", dachte ich mir und machte das Photo. Meist entsteht ja erst ein Bild, dann ein Text. Warum auch nicht? Schließlich muss irgendwo ein Bild sein, bevor es einen Text gibt. Texte sind meistens nichts anderes als ausbuchstabierte Bilder. Ich dachte mir also, nichts denken zu wollen, was mir da auch einfach fiel, war doch das Bild schon eine Übersprungshandlung. Ich überspielte ein Gefühl zwischen Aufregung und Ahnungslosigkeit. Ich nehme an, Lampenfieber ist die richtige Bezeichnung, aber mit dem Bild hat das nur insofern zu tun, weil ich zur Zeit am Ort war, ein Bild vor Ort aufnahm und eben damit herumspielte, das Bild hier hinein-, den Text daruntersetzte und das ist, warum weil und wie all das hier zu lesen ist.

"Don't think about it", I thought to myself and took the picture. Often an image is created first, then a text. Why not? After all, there has to be an image somewhere before there is text. Texts are usually nothing more than spelled out images. So I thought to myself that I didn't want to think anything, which was easy for me, since the picture was already a skipped action. I covered up a feeling somewhere between excitement and ignorance. I suppose stage fright is the right term, but it only has to do with the picture in that I was there at the time, took a picture on the spot and was just playing around with it, putting the picture in here, the text under it and that is why because and how to read all of this here.

Day 4 — Favorite Album

This question is as difficult as the first one about my favorite song. And like my favorite song, my favorite album changes every month. At the moment, I listen a lot to the album Zeit. I really like this album. It was a real slap in the face for me. For me, there are four albums that really stand out : Sehnsucht, Mutter, Reise Reise and LIFAD. My heart also beats for Rosenrot, it's a coherent album despite the fact that it's a patchwork of songs that were written for another album. I like its melancholic atmosphere and its dark poetry. I rediscovered the Herzeleid album with its remastered version "XXV Edition" (2020). The album I like the least is the Untitled, although it has very good songs like Deutschland, Zeig Dich (I love this song) or Puppe.

But I still have to make a choice… Damn, it's hard ! I choose Liebe Ist Für Alle Da. First of all, because it is this album that allowed me to see Rammstein live for the first time in 2009 with the tour that followed its release. It is this first concert that made me fall into this fandom and never leave it since.

I also like this album for its artwork that we owe to Eugenio Recuenco. The pictures that accompany this album are fantastic : creepy, violent, unhealthy. On the cover photo, we see Till cutting up a young woman lying on a table in the middle of the other Rammstein guys. One of the explanations that was given in a review of the album was that this young woman cut by Till was Venus, Roman goddess of love. So Till is giving each of his friends in the band a piece of love, thus illustrating the title of the album and of the eponymous song: liebe ist für alle da.

Musically, I think this album is more punchy, more violent, harder than the others. The themes are also harder. Rammlied is more than a song, it's an anthem that made Rammstein go from a band, a collective to a legend. The main theme of this album is love, love in all its forms: impossible love, sexual tourism, sadomasochism, seduction between man and woman, etc.

There are two songs that I particularly like (besides Ich Tu Dir Weh, as I already said), Roter Sand and Wiener Blut. Roter Sand, a song written by Till, Ollie and Flake after drinking a lot of wine, is about a duel between two suitors. A duel worthy of a Jane Austen novel. I would be very curious to know how they got this idea and which of the three reads romance novels… And then a nod to Flake's wife, Jenny, who can be heard whistling in this song.

And Wiener Blut ! What a song ! Till has outdone himself in writing it, even the other members of the band are fans of it, Flake will even say : “For Wiener Blut, Till imagined that he himself was the criminal. He did it so well that I’m actually frightened of him when he sings this song.”

Ich habe sie in Berlin getroffen. Madalina ist die Art von Menschen, die einen zum Lächeln bringt, selbst wenn man keinen Grund dazu findet. Sie ist wunderschön, strahlend und gut aussehend, aber gleichzeitig eine einfache Person, die ihre Zeit zwischen Mutterschaft und Karriere aufteilt.

Über große Dinge in wenigen Worten

Im Laufe der Jahre hat unser Drop of Success-Gast in verschiedenen Bereichen gearbeitet, unter anderem als Lifestyle-Journalist, Reise- und Modestylist. Für das Hochglanz-Frauenmagazin Ce se întâmplă, doctore? hat Mădălina zahlreiche rumänische Prominente für Fotoshootings in Szene gesetzt, darunter auch Mütter und schwangere Frauen.

Sie hat auch mit internationalen Modemagazinen zusammengearbeitet, mit dem Fotografen Omi von der italienischen Vogue, mit dem sie als Stylistin arbeitete, und für das Cover des PUMP Magazins in LA (USA) sowie für das Cover von Gmarodin UK.

Die Vogue veröffentlichte kürzlich ihr Portfolio als Modestylistin. Außerdem hat sie dank ihrer Arbeit und ihrer Reisetagebücher zahlreiche Auftritte in Zeitungen in Deutschland, Rumänien und im Fernsehen. So war beispielsweise eine Sendung von Brilliant auf TVR1 dem Werk von Mădălina Drăgoi gewidmet.

Im Laufe der Jahre hat sie mehr oder weniger berühmte Persönlichkeiten wie Nadia Comaneci, Andreea Raicu, Elena Gheorghe usw. eingekleidet. Im Mode- und Fotostudio Strike a Pose widmet sie ihre Zeit auch all jenen, die ihr Image durch Kleidung, persönliches Shopping, Fotoshootings usw. verbessern wollen.

Sie hat verschiedene Workshops über Modestil abgehalten. Im folgenden Interview erfahren wir mehr von ihr.

R: Willkommen, Madalina, vielen Dank, dass du die Einladung zu diesem Interview angenommen hast. Du lebst nun schon seit einiger Zeit in der deutschen Metropole. Was hat dich hierher gezogen?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Mit all meiner Liebe! Und auch ich danke Ihnen für die Einladung! Ich war schon immer fasziniert von Städten, die das Tor zur Welt darstellen. Und aus meiner Sicht ist Berlin wie eine Weltreise, die man Tag für Tag macht. Man trifft Menschen aus allen Ländern der Welt, man kann Speisen aus allen Ländern der Welt probieren. Ein Ort, an dem die Kunst zu Hause ist, eine Stadt mit jungem Geist, in der man so sein kann, wie man wirklich ist, ohne verurteilt zu werden. Außerdem ist Berlin der Ort, an dem ich erfuhr, dass ich Mutter werden würde, und die Stadt, in der ich es tatsächlich wurde. Eine große Liebe hat mich also hierher gebracht, um eine noch größere Liebe zu treffen: Marc Robin, mein Baby.

R: Was machst du hier und an welchen Projekten arbeitest du gerade?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Neben meiner Tätigkeit als Journalistin bin ich auch Modestylistin. Was genau muss ich tun? Ich rate Berühmtheiten, Künstlern und sogar normalen Menschen, ihren Stil zu ändern. Ich mache auch Garderobenstyling für Fotoshootings, Kleiderschrank-Entgiftungen und persönliches Shopping. Ich habe 15 Jahre Erfahrung und hunderte von Projekten: Fotoshootings für Titelseiten rumänischer und internationaler Zeitschriften. Kürzlich habe ich die Titelseite des Pump Fashion Magazine in Los Angeles gestaltet, Werbekampagnen und Umstyling von Kleidung.

R: Journalismus, Reisen, Modestylistin. Wie bist du dazu gekommen, eine Karriere in diesen Bereichen zu machen? Gab es Träume, die du sich erfüllen konntest, oder hat das Leben dicheinfach hierher geführt?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Seit ich ein kleines Mädchen war, habe ich eine Vorliebe für schöne Kleider. Früher habe ich meinen Eltern und Großeltern im Garten geholfen, um dafür bezahlt zu werden. Ich habe das Geld gesammelt und die Kleidung gekauft. Ich hatte schon immer einen “Sinn für Mode”. In der 11. Klasse dachte ich, ich würde Psychologin werden, aber dann habe ich eine Umfrage für eine Zeitung gemacht und gemerkt, dass ich das Gefühl liebe, das ich bekomme, wenn ich Menschen befrage. Und so wurde ich Journalistin. Und in der Redaktion wurde mein Sinn für Mode bemerkt, und man bot mir an, das Modestyling für Fotoshootings zu übernehmen. Seitdem hat er sich kontinuierlich weitergebildet und sich in beiden Bereichen spezialisiert. Das Reisen wurde mir von klein auf in die Wiege gelegt, da ich in den Ferien immer 700 km mit dem Zug zu meinen Großeltern gefahren bin… Journalisten sind in ihrem Beruf viel unterwegs. Jeder Ort hat seine eigenen Geschichten, seine eigene Mode – so verbinde ich mühelos Mode, Journalismus und Reisen.

R: Der Weg, den du von den Anfängen deiner Karriere bis heute zurückgelegt hast, war voller Erfolge und Leistungen. Hast du jemals Momente, in denen du die Motivation verloren hast? Wenn ja, was hast dich angetrieben?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Wenn ich zurückblicke, fallen mir eher die “Wow”-Momente ein. Denn es gibt viele für jeden Journalisten: von der Veröffentlichung der ersten Nachricht bis hin zu einem exklusiven Interview mit einem Nobelpreisträger, in meinem Fall dem französischen Wissenschaftler Luc Montagner; oder als ich in der Sendung Brilliant von TVR1 auftrat; oder als die Vogue etwas aus meiner Mappe veröffentlichte; oder als Bilder von mir und meinem Baby in Millionenauflage in großen Zeitungen abgedruckt wurden. Aber es gab Hunderte von Tagen, an denen ich ohne Pause arbeitete, Hunderte von Wochenenden und Hunderte von Nächten, die ich in der Redaktion verbrachte. Es gab Zeiten, in denen es keine Rolle spielte, was ich in meinem Privatleben erlebte, die Fristenmussten eingehalten werden. Jetzt, als Mutter, sehe ich keinen Sinn mehr in diesem ständigen Auf und Ab. Aber ich bin dankbar für alle Erfahrungen, die ich gemacht habe. Aber die Motivation habe ich nie verloren!

R: Es mag ein Klischee sein, aber wie können wir FRAUEN definieren?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Aus meiner Sicht ist die Frau das “Tor zur Unendlichkeit”: die Unendlichkeit des Lebens durch seine Geburtskraft, die Unendlichkeit der Gefühle, die Unendlichkeit des Mitgefühls, die Unendlichkeit der Macht, die Unendlichkeit der Verführung.

R: Immer mehr Frauen fallen sehr leicht in eine Depression. Jeder Faktor des täglichen Lebens kann sie auslösen. Wie, glaubst du, könnten sie das Gleichgewicht halten?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Die Frauen von heute nehmen irgendwann in ihrem Leben zu viel auf sich, und das führt dazu, dass sie sich von ihrer natürlichen weiblichen Lebensweise entfernen. Ich habe viel über Depressionen bei Frauen und Müttern geschrieben und viele renommierte Fachärzte befragt. Ein Gleichgewicht zwischen Beruf und Familie, ständige emotionale Hygiene, Treffen mit Freundinnen, Tanzen, Kochen, schöne Kleidung, Gebet, Meditation, Sport, Reisen sind hilfreich. Wenn aber eine Depression eingetreten ist, ist es unwahrscheinlich, dass die Betroffene um Hilfe bittet. Die Unterstützung durch andere und die Überweisung an einen Spezialisten machen also einen großen Unterschied.

R: Hast du einen Rat für unsere Leser?

Mădălina Drăgoi: Wir haben jederzeit alle Ressourcen, die wir brauchen, um erfolgreich zu sein, in uns selbst, wo immer wir auf dem Planeten leben. Intuition, innerer Fokus, Visualisierung, Mitgefühl, Sanftmut, Organisationsgeist, innere Schönheit, Verbindungskraft, Kohärenz des Herzens, Tanzen, Kochen, Lernen, Meditation, Fürsorge für andere, Flirtbereitschaft, Verhandeln sind Pluspunkte. ‘Blackout’: Seymour Hersh Says US, Germany Coordinated NYT ‘False Cover Story’ For Nord Stream Bombing

On September 26, 2022, a massive explosion ripped through the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines on the Baltic seabed, severing a major natural gas connection and releasing colossal amounts of methane. The US had long objected to the line, which runs from Russia to Germany, urging Europe to buy more expensive US gas instead.

A new report by investigative journalist Seymour Hersh lays blame at the feet of US and German intelligence for a New York Times article claiming it was Ukrainian terrorists, not US Navy divers, who bombed the Nord Stream pipeline last September. Hersh said it was part of a coordinated “blackout” of his expose of Washington’s role in the attack.

“There is no evidence that any reporter assigned there has yet to ask the White House press secretary whether Biden had done what any serious leader would do: formally “task” the American intelligence community to conduct a deep investigation, with all of its assets, and find out just who had done the deed in the Baltic Sea,” Hersh wrote on Wednesday.

“According to a source within the intelligence community, the president has not done so, nor will he,” the journalist asserted. “Why not? Because he knows the answer.”

Hersh pointed to a curious meeting in Washington earlier this month between Biden and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in which both media and aides were almost totally absent.

“There have been no statements or written understandings made public since then by either government, but I was told by someone with access to diplomatic intelligence that there was a discussion of the pipeline exposé and, as a result, certain elements in the Central Intelligence Agency were asked to prepare a cover story in collaboration with German intelligence that would provide the American and German press with an alternative version for the destruction of Nord Stream 2,” Hersh wrote.

“In the words of the intelligence community, the agency was ‘to pulse the system’ in an effort to discount the claim that Biden had ordered the pipelines’ destruction,” he explained.

Indeed, The New York Times, which was one of two newspapers that ran the story, has admitted in the past to letting the CIA proofread certain stories before publishing them.

Along with the NYT, which published an article on March 7 claiming “a pro-Ukrainian group” might have been behind the pipeline explosion, the German weekly Der Zeit published a companion piece that same day claiming German investigative officials had found a luxury yacht chartered by a group of Ukrainians under false pretenses in the area of the explosions just a few weeks before they occurred.

Both reports were largely absent on precise facts, heavy on anonymous sourcing, and admitted that, as the Times put it, “there was much they did not know.” Hersh’s February expose on the pipeline bombing was derided by critics for using anonymous sources, who claimed it undermined the integrity of Hersh’s audacious claims.

In fact, the Der Zeit story even noted the belief among some “in international security services” that the yacht story “was a false flag operation.”

“Indeed it was,” Hersh wrote in reply.

He quoted a source within the American intelligence community as telling him: “It was a total fabrication by American intelligence that was passed along to the Germans, and aimed at discrediting your story.”

To further make his point about just how little the journalists behind the two papers’ exposes really knew about their supposed bombshell reports, Hersh quoted a NYT podcast interview with story co-author Julian Barnes from a few days after its publication in which Barnes admits their primary method for establishing the facts of the article was “asking exactly the right questions” of US intelligence officials.

“All those states that we just went through, did Russia do it? Did the Ukraine state do it? And that was just hitting dead end after dead end. We weren’t finding officials who were telling us that there was credible evidence pointing at a government,” Barnes told the podcast. “So my colleagues Adam Entous, Adam Goldman, and I started asking a different question. Could this have been done by non-state actors?”

“Well, we started asking, who might these saboteurs be? Or if we couldn’t answer that, who might they be aligned with? Could they be pro-Russian saboteurs? Could they be other saboteurs? And the more we talk to officials who had access to intelligence, the more we saw this theory gaining traction.”

Hersh finished his article by faulting the NYT journalists for using their trade to protect Biden from the ugly ramifications of the sabotage order he personally signed.

Hersh has been a journalist for more than 50 years, winning a Pulitzer Prize in 1970 for his work in exposing the My Lai massacre of Vietnamese civilians by US troops and its subsequent coverup. He later exposed the US' secret bombing campaign in Cambodia in the 1970s, US torture of detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq, and the false attribution of a chemical weapons attack in Ghouta, Syria, to the Syrian government instead of to a group of US-backed Islamist rebels.

"Mother's Day" on April 2: Till, Flake, Paul, Richard, Oliver and Schneider delivered the hammer disc that Rammstein fans have been waiting for more than two years. "Mutter” immediately shot to the top of the charts: BRAVO bring everything about the strongest and heaviest CD in the career of the Berlin super band.

“Sie kommen zu euch in der Nacht. Dämonen, Geister, schwarze Feen. Sie kriechen aus dem Kellerschacht, werden unter euer Bettzeug sehen…” — Rammstein open the gate to the underworld! The Berlin shock rockers declared April 2nd as "Mother's Day" - on this day "Mutter”, the long-awaited new album, was released. The band's masterpiece: Howling sirens and ominous string chords, booming guitar explosions and bass shockwaves overwhelm the listener with the violence of a natural disaster. Not to mention the demonic scary tube with which singer Till paves the way to the light of day for fears and crazy hallucinations from the deepest subconscious.

The starter "Mein Herz brennt”, from which the opening quote comes, is by far not the hardest number on the disc. In “Spieluhr” a child is buried alive: “Zwischen harten Eichendielen muss es mit der Spieluhr spielen. Eine Melodie im Wind, und aus der Erde singt ein Kind…”

"Rein raus" is about fucking as vividly as it is blunt: "Tiefer, tiefer, ich fühl mich wohl in deine Haut, und 1.000 Elefanten brechen aus. Der Ritt war kurz, es tut mir Leid. Ich steige ab, hab keine Zeit…" In the title song "Mutter” Till comes up with nightmare horror: "In ihren Lungen wohnt ein Aal, auf meiner Stirn ein Muttermal. Entferne es mit Messers Kuss, auch wenn ich verbluten muss…”

The content corresponds to the packaging of the CD. In addition to a human embryo, Till, Flake, Schneider, Paul, Richard and Oliver are depicted — as anatomy — as dead bodies floating in formalin. "Flake almost died during the photo session for the cover," reports Schneider. “We had to dive in a glass tank with green liquid and stay under water for minutes. Flake swallowed water badly.”

Opinions differ on Rammstein, their uncompromising style, their lyrics and wild pyroporn shows like no other band on the international rock scene. Till and Flake were arrested in the USA in 1999 for a drastic sadomasochistic sex scene during the song "Bück dich" and later sentenced to probation. Rammstein were even blamed for the Columbine High School massacre in 1999, when it became known that the two teenage killers were crazy about their song “Du hast”. Till's comment on the allegations against his band: "If you don't like Rammstein, you don't need to listen to us. Our music is hard but not destructive. We do what we want, but we don't glorify violence and we're definitely not Nazis!” On the new single “Links 234″, the frontman makes it clear: “Sie wollen mein Herz am rechten Fleck. Doch seh ich dann nach unten weg, so schlägt es links!” But the boys will definitely not back down. The new show, with which Rammstein will tour Germany from May 13th to June 1st, will be harder, more spectacular and more dangerous than that of the "Herzeleid" tour. Paul: “Rammstein fans have the right to be offered something. A few more or fewer burn blisters should do the trick and certainly don’t matter!”
