Greyson, Dr. Zayne walked around with a lipstick smudge on his collar and it's been like almost a whole day with nobody saying anything. What a guy.

" Yes-yes, Oh great, powerful, and rich sorceress. Throt is a very terrifying-scary mad scientist that turns us clanrats and slave-slaves into gross-nasty creatures. Heard he punished undead girl-thing for betraying Moulder Clan. " Rizzit continued, stacking and organizing Yvonne's romantic novels she requested.

" R-really? " she stuttered, feeling a bit anxious. " What did he do? "

" Beat-thrashed her and branded her. In Rizzits opinion, he went easy on undead-thing. Throt has done worse-worse to traitors than that. " Rizzit alphabetized her strange assortments of romance books neatly on her shelf.

" ... I hope she's okay. " Yvonne replied, she can't help but feel sorry for Throt's undead slave girl.

" Mhm. Anyways, your most prestige and worshippeness. Rizzit heard that Queek Headtaker of Clan Mors, kiss-smooches his severed heads! " Rizzit's finally finished organizing the books.

" EWWWWW GROOOOSSSS !!! " Yvonne exclaimed, her face scrunching up in disgust.

Rizzit and Yvonne continued their gossip.

We practically finished our books today and our main idea for the day was to moider Mother. This notion is not a new one, but this time it is a definite plan which we intend to carry out. We have worked it out carefully and are both thrilled by the idea. Naturally we feel a trifle nervous, but the pleasure of anticipation is great. I shall not write the plan down here as I shall write it up when we carry it out (I hope). We both spent last night and the one before having a simply wonderful time in every possible way. We also planned a few odd pictures and recast most of the "Saints' Christmas." We burnt all our film books this evening.

Today Yvonne offered to sell her longboard to the barista I have a huge crush on just so we could get his number without making it obvious that I have a crush on him. Anyway, he looks like someone who longboards so of course it worked. I can’t stop laughing. She told him I’ll be the one to message him on where to pick up the item at the end of the month. It was a sitcom moment and I appreciate it.

what do you think Yvonne was like? if she were to come back into Thomas' life, whether it be a short stay or something more perminant, would she get along with Alex?

I've tried to answer this ask a few times but tumblr keeps eating my reply 😭😭😭

I think Yvonne and Alex have some similar characteristics. I think they are both kind, compassionate, driven, and loyal. I think in another life the two of them could have been friends.

Although, Thomas longed for Yvonne and regretted not going after her for a while, when he finally admits to himself how he feels about Alex, he realizes he never felt that way with Yvonne. He and Yvonne worked in all ways, but that fire that he feels with Alex wasn't there. He realizes that it never would have lasted and eventually their relationship would have ended, but perhaps more mutually rather than him in a sense ghosting her by not showing up.

I think Alex and Thomas would talk about Yvonne, especially once they were engaged. Alex would wonder if he still thinks about her. He does, but only so far as to hope she is as happy with her husband and family as he is with Alex.

I don't think they'd ever be in each other's lives long term, but I do think eventually Thomas would reach out and apologize for how he left things and how she didn't deserve that. I think they would keep in touch from time to time.

Alex might worry a little at first but not much because she trusts him completely.

I don't think it would be how RCD! Alex felt when she met Marianne for the first time. Marianne is a whole different story with her over bearing flirty personality and enjoyment of making everyone jealous. Alex didn't take it well (at first) but it only made Thomas and Alex grow closer.

Yvonne, despite being generally kind and respectable, does have a bit of an intimidating visage. So she probably scared the poor girl at first. Especially as she put on her poker face. If she recalled correctly, this was the girl that she saw her colleague flirting with and sees an opportunity to have fun. Sorry not sorry Grey!

"Mhm. He's my colleague. Do you have an appointment with him, sweets?" She asks in her usual polite tone.

🟣 Purple- What is something that your OC could not live without? What keeps them grounded in the worst of times?

Isabela: Isa can't live without her diary. When she doesn't have a way to express her negative experiences or thoughts, she writes down everything in that book. This was all before she knew it was okay to let people know she wasn't okay, so this was her safest outlet.

Aknova: Nova can't live without her mom's crocheted bandana. It was the last thing shw was lifted before she passed. Whenever she feels trapped or cornered or overwhelmed with pure negativity, she looks for it, finds it and just holds it for a few seconds to remind herself she made it through the most tragic loss she's ever felt. Then, she pushes through the obstacles with the reminder of the woman who loved her most.

Rebecca: Rex doesn't have anything physically to bring her back to the neutral state, so she has affirmations. Affirmations that mostly work most of the time. With her family always challenging her beliefs and dreams, she has to remind herself that she is worth it. She's worth the effort to have the love and the life she deserves.

Chrysanthemum: Chrys can't live without her eyeliner. Before she went to college, she was always seen as some shy and incapable, so when she learned how to perfect her favorite look, she never went back to being someone everyone overlooked or teased. She relishes in the confidence that her newfound beauty has given her. It's all she has to build off of.

Mercedes: Cedes can't live without her clothes. She has spent years trying to feel good in her own skin and find her style, and no one is going to take that away from her now. No one is going to take away her form of expression that builds her confidence and helps her cope with how she used to perceive (and how she thought others perceived) herself.

Yvonne: Yve needs her pen. She's always been resourceful, so a pen will do her nicely in any situation she needs to escape. When she was younger, she always had to escape something, so in order to assure her safety, she always carried a pen with her. Now that she's older, she still has that mindset where she might have to run away.

🪩 Disco Ball- What was an achievement that your OC felt worthy of celebrating? Was it a personal victory or a big impact on everyone around them?

Isabela: Funny enough, it would be anything that could be considered over achieving. Getting her first ap class, achieving over a 4.0 GPA, making it to finals for ballroom dance. Anything that shows (and proves) she's done the work.

Aknova: Nova likes to try things that aren't stereotypically for girls. Like, she's such a frat dude, lol. She's doing Kegstands, and she joins basketball, baseball, and boxing. While she is small, she's never been weak (emotionally or physically). And it shoes in the way she plows through drinks and is loud and proud. She she would definitely be so proud about beating Hargrove's kegstand score enough to throw a party for it.

Rebecca: Rex definitely finitely is the type to just celebrate for her friends' achievements even if they do seem big to them. Nova gets a B? Get together with ice cream. Steve cleans his room? Movie night with a home cooked meal. Isa finally going out for once? Lunch date on her♡ She loves seeing her friends open their horizons and try new things out of their current comfort zones, so why not reward them for trying. She knows she'd love that herself.

Chrysanthemum: Chrys definitely has mini celebrations with herself. She has never been giving enough encouragement, so when past a certain chem test or anatomy quiz, she feels relief. That or when she someone gets an extra tip at the club, it's celebration enough that she earned it in the first place. Makes her feel special, like there is growth happening in real time, and that's celebration enough.

Mercedes: Mercedes is proud of her financial spending habits. Usually, she sets a limit on how much she'll spend that day, and if she achieves that limit and/or doesn't go over it, she goes home that same day to happily stuff her face with granola and strawberry banana yogurt. It's her favorite. It's a very good motivator since she's usually helping her father with his poor eating habits by eating the same thing he does so he doesn't feel alone in his endeavors.

Yvonne: Yvonne would celebrate something as necessary as cooking a grilled cheese correctly. Cooking is something that distracts her and something she can control and improve on. To perfect a grilled cheese is more than enough for her to celebrate.

🟡 Yellow- What is something your OC wants but knows they can never have? How does it feel to never get this specific desire?

Isabela: For Isabela, it would be, being about to be to completely succeed. But life happens, and plans change. No matter how hard she tries to be perfect, she never will be. She can never be perfectly, so she needs to come to terms to be imperfectly herself♡

Aknova: Nova knows that not everyone is going to want to be her friend.. people are always finding ways to decieve her and make her look like a fool, no matter how hard she tries to befriend others, not everyone is going to like her, or even respect her. And that's hard for her to understand, considering she's always wanted to just include people.

Rebecca: Rebecca knows she'll never fully escape the trauma her family always passes down, but she just can't let them go. She wants to, but they're different, and differences come with dire experiences, and she's never going to be able to put them behind her. She's always going to be looking back.

Chrysanthemum: Chrys will never get her family back. It's sad, but it's true, no matter we how far she goes, no matter how many bodies she buries alongside her father and brother, she's never going to get them back. She's never going to see her brothers smile or hear her father's laugh. It's constant torture, and it will still haunt her until she learns to let go.

Mercedes: Mercedes has always struggled with her appearance up until recently, as well as feeling inferior because the things people would say. Even with her "glow up," she still feels the rude comments, mean pranks, and traumatic friendship break-ups from the past. Her self conscious will never be the same now matter how much self care she implements in her routine. She will always feel ugly, not matter how pretty she really is. Her insecurities

Yvonne: She won't ever make enough money to buy herself a home, a safe enviornmemt. She will always need to carry that pen in her back pocket for any and every emergency she gets herself into. She won't feel safe for a long time, and therefore she won't be able to experience the feeling of her heart slowing and her nerves calming. She will always be on edge, and will always be utterly exhausted.
