Yuxiang’s been with him from the beginning and knows that this means a Lot to him and Peking in turn shows vulnerability by letting himself express his desire to finally fulfil his goal because he trusts her

It’s intimate and they care and understand each other and just. Man.

My b day past not to long again so I did some of my favs and what they would get for b day!!!

Salty tofu: ”hehehe, I got you a matching choker! Here, let me help you put it on~ what? Why do I have a leash? Hehehe, don’t trouble yourself over it...”

Sweet tofu: “why, I wrote a song for you~ what about you, kitten? What are you going to give to me?”

Vodka: “gifts? Hmph. Well, you always shiver badly when we walk together, so... here. An oversized coat. Andre insisted it have fluffed trim. Now, stop hanging onto me all the time.”

B-52: “attendant! It’s come to my attention that it’s tradition to give gifts when it is someone’s.... “birthday”, and so, I give you this! It’s a wind up musical box, I built it myself! Is it... ok?”

Steak: “attendant! The holidays are here, and, well... here. I got you an ornate dagger, to defend yourself. I... was hoping maybe... you’d want to learn a few tricks with me?”

Red wine: “hello, attendant. It’s getting close to your birthday, is it not? Humph. I’m no good at gifts, how about you and I have a day on the town. Pick out anything you’d like. With me, you’ll want for nothing.”

Peking duck: “ah, you’re finally here! The children are so excited to celebrate with you! Here, have my gift first! It’s a collection of poetry I’ve written for you! It isn’t much, I’m aware, and they might not be exquisite, but I hope you enjoy it none the less. Now, let’s see what the children brought for you!”

Yuxiang: “umph! Ugh, damn things... oh! Attendant! I was just looking for you! Here, your gift is here.. somewhere. I found an adorable pillow with your favorite animal, but I can’t find it through how messy my office is! Ugh.... would you help me organize this a bit?”

Boston lobster: “You. You’ve arrived. Didn’t I tell you to be back before it got to late? Ugh, no matter. Here, this is for you. You’ve been eyeing this stuffed animal everytime we pass the market. At any rate, You’d better appreciate this, I don’t think I’ll be able to look a cashier in the eyes again.”

Black tea: “hello, master attendant. I heard it was getting close to your birthday. I prepared you a gift. It isn’t much, but I retrieved a bouquet of roses for you. They smelled so lovely, they reminded me of you. Perhaps... we could visit the gardens soon?”

Milk: “oh, It’s you. I brought you a new apron, your old one was getting rather beat up. I hope you enjoy it.”

Bloody Mary: “my master, you’re back~ ah! Your gift! Here, a golden garnet ring, just your size! What? Oh, you were expecting another woman’s body? Hmm, not this time~”

Rice: “I... made you.... some.... pastries! I spent.... a long.... time on them... I hope..... you.... like them.... attendant!”

Whiskey: “ah, hello my love. Are you wondering what I got you for your birthday? Hmmm~ is my love not enough? Oh, I kid. Here, your favorite storybook, fully illustrated. if you’d like, I’d love to read a few chapters to you~”

Bamboo Mist Pawn Shop

A shop owned by Peking Duck and located in Light Kingdom.

During the day's when Peking Duck Master Attendant was alive, there were crisis happening. The snows of winter had fallen too heavily that year, smothering not just the farmlands, but burying the roads, cutting off the town from the rest of civilization. Starvation, disease, and pestilence followed in its wake. In a single season, the peaceful town was brought to the brink of destitution. His Master Attendant were accused for the corruption of the country, due for not following the orders of the Capital's Officials whom in fact they are behind the wrong doings. They exchanged the foods for silver and gold instead for saving the people of the country. On the other hand, Yuxiang was a curious food souls who wants to gain more knowledge of the world of Tierra, but forbade by his Master Attendants to read any history books who was a historian of the kingdom. He wrote the black history book, containing a record of the blood and tears of the countless dead that had been sacrificed to bring about the country.

Peking Duck rose his position in the organizations to acquire information for the truth and clean his Master Attendants name.

As Yuxiang was freed from her Contract and was finally able to attempt to search for an answer to the gaps in history and found the black history book. However, she was a naturally frail and weak Food Soul. Having lost the power of the Contract, her spiritual energy waned with every passing day. But saved by Peking Duck and now serving him for giving her a chance to live.

Hawthorne Ball was a kind hearted food souls whom treated kindly by the townspeople, and she was living under the house of Tie Yishu who loves and cares for her as she knows but confronted by the truth. As Tie Yishu was killed by Peking Duck, her Uncle Tie was one of the follower of the cult and killed many people.

Bamboo Rice loves the nature. The forest is a place that Bamboo Rice treasure like a home. Protecting it is his nature. Pancake was taught hunting by Bamboo Rice.

Pancake became a worker of Bamboo Mist Pawn Shop, due to his Master Attendant's daughter who fell gravely ill and in need of money for treatment.

When White Tiger, the Divine Lord of the Light Kingdom, had reached the end of his life, rebels had seized the opportunity to attack before his successor could come forward. He helped and accompanied an escaped divine clerk to send a warning for the next generation Divine Lord, Lord Southplume.

A series of christmas/new years gift drawins i made for my close friends!!!! it’s been...... 5ever since i drew on my tablet, and I wanted to do something nice for the holidays!!!!

This year’s honestly been actually great, whether it’s the stories and characters we got to fall in love, or the friends I’ve made and bonded over the year with!!!! It was cathartic to take a step back and really write out how much I appreciate the people that’ve been with me here, and I hope no matter where you are, what decade ur in rn (holds head) there’s good things waiting for u!!!! 

Here’s to 2020!

I love my smoke aesthetics and I love them-

I tried something new with new brushes, and I kinda dig it. I kinda like not drawing eyes in some pictures, like I'll still draw them, but kinda lean more towards just leaving the faces blank or having very few facial features. I'm gonna try that in my next drawing, just with like the eyebrows and nose, so I'll see how it goes then.

Peking Duck: You rarely come out to greet us.

Dragonwell Tea: Mm, I thought you would all come today.

Yuxiang: Apologies for not saying hi in advance; these drinks and desserts are a little gift~

Dragonwell Tea: No matter, they should be very happy by this. 

Yuxiang: Speaking of which, where is Longfeng Stew and the others? I haven’t heard them nearby; weren’t they quite the noisy bunch before?

Dragonwell Tea: Longfeng Stew and Realgar Wine are together, Zitui Bun and the others are preparing the food.

Yuxiang: How nice, it seems that Zitui’s and I’s discussion over the history of countries from last time can continue.

Peking Duck: There’s plenty of trifling things at the end of the year-- we just happened to be free these few days and came for a visit.

Peking Duck: How have you been?

Dragonwell Tea: Everything is fine, there’s still work to do.

Peking Duck: Your place is still much much quieter and more peaceful than mine, even the children are overjoyed. *quacking ducklings*

Dragonwell Tea: Not entirely, it’s still always a little noisy here.

Longfeng Stew: It’s just a few strands of grass, just grow some more! What’s the point in being so angry?

Realgar Wine: You still don’t know what you did wrong?

Longfeng Stew: But when I messed with your grass in the past, you weren’t like this!

Realgar Wine: ...You! Sigh, this is different.

Longfeng Stew: What’s different?

Realgar Wine: This herb is difficult to cultivate. It took me many tries before I managed to successfully grow it.

Longfeng Stew: This… is growing grass this hard… th-then I’ll help you grow more when spring comes!

Realgar Wine: Sigh… Just stay far away from them, will you.

Realgar Wine: Also, I was going to use it to make medicine. If I didn’t have this herb, then all of my previous efforts would be wasted...Whatever, there’s no use in telling you anyways.

Longfeng Stew: Medicine? Are you talking about that stinky murky bowl in the room?

Realgar Wine: I haven’t finished it, that’s all.

Longfeng Stew: Ah ha ha-- I thought it was some failed experimental medicine... it was just too smelly, so before I went to sleep I just threw it away!

Realgar Wine: What… LONG-FENG STEW--!

Yuxiang: New Year’s is only nice when there’s a little ruckus around.

Yuxiang: But judging by his appearance, Longfeng Stew messed up big this time.

Peking Duck: Oh? I see these two aren’t behaving much different from what they’re usually like.

Yuxiang: I haven’t seen Realgar Wine like this before. Should we intervene?

Dragonwell Tea: That won’t be necessary. *sips wine*

Dragonwell Tea: Mm… Realgar Wine, he isn’t really angry.

Yuxiang: ...You two sure are calm. Not only that, you’ve both begun to sing the same tune.

Peking Duck: *laughs* Well, even if they get noisy, it’s not my responsibility.

Dragonwell Tea: …... It won’t come to that.

Yuxiang: Both of you wouldn’t even bat an eye if the sky came crashing down, would you.

Realgar Wine: There’s guests over? Excuse me.

Longfeng Stew: Obviously! Ey, Peking Duck what kind of wine did you bring over this time? I thought last time’s wine was fantastic, I wanted to ask you for a few more pots!

Peking Duck: Okay, next time I’ll bring more.

Longfeng Stew: Wha-- it smells so delicious-- what are you guys eating? I want some too…

Realgar Wine: …… Longfeng Stew!

Yuxiang: Hehe, how about you resolve that problem of yours before you come over here?~

Longfeng Stew: Hahaha… then, then I’ll go help Dahongpao in the back!

Realgar Wine: You’ll just add more trouble……hey, watch out!

Longfeng Stew: Geh!

Realgar Wine: Sigh…... Always such reckless.

Peking Duck: Looks like we can happily have our new year now. How fortunate that I brought enough wine.

Yuxiang: Hasn’t this already been quite pleasant so far?
