Thora Gives Back

Thora grew into her magic

As the seasons turned over

Until again Yuletide drew nigh

And she returned to the North

This time she joined the Sleigh team

In their escalating races

And took her place as one of eight

In the harness of the Yule Sleigh.

As the Sleigh rose into the air

Carrying the gifts of Yuletide

As Sleipnir's magic gathered

Thora leaned into her team

Heart and soul unfurling in flight

Bolstering the Sleigh’s magic

That generations yet to come

Would find their heart's desire too.

The newest sister of the Sleigh

Wept for joy as her antlers grew

Tears freezing in crystalline drops

That shone like seeds of white starlight

Like promises of brilliance

On the night of wishes fulfilled

When Thora’s magic fueled

Sleipnir's ancient Yuletide gift.

tonight is a night full of grief

So as a fundraiser the high school choir was selling raffle tickets for a real Christmas tree. Like a actual alive tree. And I was in the Christmas show the choir puts on every year and was selling these raffle tickets.

Well my mom said she didn't want a real tree but I convinced her to buy a ticket anyway because they were pretty cheap and not many people were buying them at the show. I assured her there was no way we'd win, the whole town was buying them, they were being sold other places than just from us.

Guess. Who. Fucking. WON. THIS WHOLE ASS TREE.

Yep, my mom, who doesn't like Christmas much and swore she'd never do a real tree. We won this giant fucking tree and took it home and set it up. (The guys who helped us were really nice too, they helped us get it home and then I carried it upstairs)

Anyway, it's actually so cool. It's ginormous and beautiful and I love it. Mom doesn't care so much as long as I take care of it.

This is exactly how I was picturing their relationship, only getting brief moments with each other that they savor as much as they can. Bitsy and Chuckles realize how important this time is to the two and they try to let them have it but Chuckles is Chuckles and he can't stop himself from being cursed.

So Torbek has to teach himself how to read and write so he can keep in touch with his boyfriend to try and elevate the sadness he feels being separated from his boyfriend.

I AGREE, WE NEED MORE BRIGGSY X TORBEK!!!!! Please, you are our prophet, give us food🙏

But basically, I've got nothing. I mean, there isn't anything cannon to go off from (probably because this is based on a non cannon christmas special) but what if

And stay with me for a minute but what if for some reason Briggsy and Torbek can only ever meet on Christmas / Yuletide? (Like, what was the lore behind them meeting in the first place in the one-shots again, I cant remember)

So yeah, Torbek and Briggsy are doomed to only have one day a year together, but they can never enjoy it because there is always something happening.

(This is a CRACKSHIP why do you want lore from me?? /j)

Anyway, I'm manifesting that they'll do more stuff together this on this years christmas one-shot
