i binged all of made in abyss season 1 then the movie with my friends. brain wormed in the bad way. i want to cope by drawing them all alive and having fun and not suffering especially mitty. also i liked reg until they dropped hes a total pervert in the MIDDLE OF A HEARTWARMING SCENE WITH RIKO AND PRUSHKA WHICH WAS A FLASHBACK BECAUSE PRUSHKA WAS FUCKING DYIIINNNGGGGGG WHY! whatever. i think this faputa girl is cool looking but i think once i watch season 2 i will be like that one gif of yuko aioi after the eraser falls on her head. whatevah. made in abyss is a wholesome show where the children are treated with kindness and their personal boundaries are respected....

Tsubomi -

"Look, I know most people probably submitted Kurata Tome as the autistic girl from MP100, and she's valid too, but hear me out.

On the outside, Tsubomi seems to be very popular and social, but she doesn't trust that her group of friends wouldn't make fun of her just for sneezing, which means she's just hanging out with people to seem popular. When Dimple brainwashed the entire city, she was literally the last person to be brainwashed because she was not interested in eating the brainwashing candy, no matter what, even slapping it away when he tried to force it on her. Dimple only got to her with a brainwashing aura.

She's constantly saying weird things that seem to be unintentional rudeness or bluntness, and everyone else gets the impression that she's mean and unapproachable. When she and Shigeo were kids, Tsubomi told him to "get a clue", and that stuck with him for years. It's possible Tsubomi didn't even register that she said something that hurt Shigeo because "getting a clue" is something she had to figure out and she meant it as genuine advice.

The reason I don't think Tsubomi knew what she said hurt Mob is because Tsubomi still thought she was friends with Mob even after not having spoken to him in 10 years. She tested his after-school boss to make sure he wasn't shady, and she watched him put Emi's manuscript back together, even complementing him for handling that social situation well. But not to his face. She does try to talk to him, twice even! Once when he's running the marathon and once after he gives her a tissue for the aforementioned sneeze. The first time, she stops before saying anything. The second, she brings it up and waits for him to respond, but then he doesn't and she walks away to escape the awkwardness.

When he said he wanted to talk, she was totally up to meet him at the park. She stayed at that park even with a TORNADO HEADED RIGHT TOWARD HER because she didn't want to hurt his feelings. After he did arrive, he confessed his feelings and she said "I've never thought of you in that way". She was thinking of him as a friend, despite not talking in 10 years. And all it took was Mob talking to her to re-kindle their friendship, they speak on the phone even after she moved away. Shigeo and Tsubomi are two sides of the autistic coin, Shigeo couldn't fit in until he was open about himself and made real friends, and Tsubomi managed to fit in by masking and getting fake friends."

BONUS: "i mean the other tsubomi propaganda is so strong lmao theres literally nothing to add but i just want to mention shes THE autism characters crush in THE autism show."
