Summer time!
~Let's go to the beach-each Let's go get a wave...~
I'm not a beach person but anything for the Bofurin Primo
Wind Breaker characters on the beach with you
Bubble gun 🫧🔫
Seiryu Sakaki - The moment you took out the bubble gun his eyes were glued to it and he waited for the perfect moment. You filled it with bubble liquid and when your finger moved to the trigger to try it, it disappeared from your hand within a second. You looked surprised to the side to see Seiryuu smirking at you before his hand raised higher and he used it making the bubbles fall down around you and on your body.
Mitsuki Kiryu - Your beach bag was slowly emptying as you pulled out everything you needed. Noticing the toy in your collection he didn't think twice before grabbing it. His eyes glimmered in joy while his lips turned into a smirk. He gave you a quick kiss and tested the bubble gun before running around while attacking his friends with the bubbles.
Kotoha Tachibana - Your gaze turned to her, as she lay down on her beach chair. You contemplated hard about what to do, was your plan gonna work? Sink or swim, let's go. You quickly made up your mind and sneakily took out the bubble gun before stealthily standing behind her. Your hand extended and bubbles came out of the toy and coated her in the soapy substance. She sighed deeply before quickly turning to you and grabbing the thing from your hand. Her face scowling while yours pouted begging for her to give it back.
Takeshi Enomoto - You loved to irritate him, lovingly of course. Anything to have his attention on you and only you. And he, because he loved you way too much, knew you well enough to be reacting to your strange antics in a different way than this. He had a poker face while you ran around him spraying the bubbles around him and then around you playing with them and trying to pop each one that appeared. He breathed deeply and just let you have the time of your life. Seeing your big grin a small smile appeared on his face.
Inflatable flaming/unicorn 🦄🦩
Jo Togame - Oh it was such a great purchase. You thought as you finished pumping the air inside the pink flamingo float. It was perfect for keeping some distance from the rest of the unruly guys from Shishitoren and their water shenanigans. You grabbed the float and entered the water with it before proudly sitting on it and watching everyone have fun and drown themselves (playfully). That was until he swam closer to you and tried to get you to join them. Yet your stubborn self decided to keep yourself on top of the pink flamingo. His smirk made you question his next actions as he swam under water disappearing from your view. Suddenly you were thrown from the float with a yelp and as you came up above the water he smirked at you grabbing you closer to him and swimming closer to others while you trashed in his hold.
Choji Tomiyama - If you knew it would happen you would bring a mattress or something bigger to lay on, rather than the unicorn float. And what exactly happened? You weren't sure either, one second you were floating on the unicorn happily playing with your hands in the water, and the next he appeared above you falling down on you as if jumping from somewhere, or maybe one of the guys helped him. It didn't end well, because as soon as he landed on you, both of you went flying as the unicorn titled sideways making you fall into the water with a splash and he laughed joyfully wanting to do this again.
Yukinari Arima - It was such a bad idea. You jumped in the water trying to get on top of the unicorn float you brought with you to the beach. You should've climbed it when the water wasn't so deep, also as soon as you thought about it you should've done it, maybe then you wouldn't still be in the water while he was taking your place on the float. He made fun of you for not being able to climb on the unicorn and when you told him he couldn't do it as well he proved you wrong. And now the unicorn was stolen from you as you whined from your place in the water and he laughed joyfully sinking in his victory.
Yuto Kusumi - You laughed to yourself from your place above water as you floated happily. He swam near you asking if you would let him join you. After you declined it with a grin he decided to take some revenge. The sun brought you sleepiness and you had a quick nap all the while he watched as you drifted further away but always making sure it wasn't too far away from him. When you finally woke up wiping the sleep from your eyes you were further in the water than you expected and panicked a little calling for him to help you out. He teased you but still came to help you. In thanks you let him join you on the pink flamingo.
Sunscreen ☀️🧴
Toma Hiiragi - His eyes furrowed the moment the words left the stranger's mouth. He quickly made his way to you and glared at him before grabbing the sunscreen bottle from your hands and moving to kneel beside you. You giggled as he voiced that you're perfectly fine and don't need this stranger's help. He can't even imagine anyone else but him touching you and massaging the sunscreen onto your body. You happily positioned yourself as his hands started moving over your warm skin, teasing him here and there that you wouldn't let anyone else do it and there was no need for him to get jealous.
Minoru Kanuma - You finished putting the sunscreen on him and then he moved to do the same for you. Although the feeling was slightly different than you thought as his fingers slowly moved over your body. First, you didn't mind it all that much focusing simply on the feeling of his palm against you but then you thought about it more and when it came to you, you turned to him with accusation evident on your face. You asked him if he was writing on your back instead of applying the sunscreen evenly and he couldn't help the laugh that left his mouth as you glared at him in betrayal. After confirming your accusation he promised to do it correctly this time.
Ren Kaji - He sat down beside you watching carefully as you applied the sunscreen over your legs and arms. His gaze followed the movement of your fingers as if hypnotized and you smirked to yourself when you noticed it from the corner of your eyes. The next moment the bottle was in front of him as you gazed at him with your pretty eyes asking him to put it on you. He gulped grabbing the sunscreen and facing your partially naked body. And then you lay down telling him to sit on your legs because that way it'd be easier. He didn't know why he agreed but he did and later he had to keep himself in check as his hands slowly massaged the substance over your warm and soft skin.
Akihiko Nirei - The moment you finished putting on your sunscreen you turned with a smile to him. He gulped seeing the mischievous sparkle in your eyes and when you proposed to put the thing on his back he flushed red. He stuttered out a confirmation while you positioned yourself behind him your chest close to his back making him aware of the warmth and closeness of your body. And then your hands touched his skin and he felt a shiver ran down his spine. He quickly stood up tripping over his legs as he ran away yelling that he was going to swim first and later he would join you sunbathing. In reality, he just needed to cool himself off and let his heart slow down from the quick beat your hands brought it to.
Ice cream 🍨🍦
Hajime Umemiya - Noticing the booth near the beach you didn't think twice before grabbing his hand and bringing him to get some ice cream. It was the perfect sweet dessert for the hot day and you read all the names of flavours thinking which one would be the best. After choosing your favourite you shared it with him and he decided to buy two cones, one for each of you. At least you thought so when he ordered them. When the stall booth employee gave it to him he didn't let you grab your ice cream as he brought it to your lips. It seemed like a sweet gesture and you licked the ice tasting the sweetness. You voiced your approval and before you leaned to get another bite it was gone from your sight just like he, who ran away while laughing merrily with both cones in his hands. You chased after him yelling his name and how he was a thief.
Hayato Suou - You brought the ice cream cone to your mouth licking the slowly melting dessert trying to keep it from dirtying your fingers. It was a hard task especially when the weather was so hot it melted even before you grabbed it from his hand. He watched carefully his cup of ice forgotten and only grabbed more tightly with each second his eyes were stuck on you. The ice finally got to you and started dripping down your fingers and you tried to lick it off while a small pout was visible on your face. You stopped your task despite your determination and turned to him to ask if he liked the sweet dessert only to be met with his eyes on you while his mouth was softly opened in arousal.
Uryu Sakaki - Both of you enjoyed the ice cream cups that you got all while sitting on the beach towel and enjoying the breeze of the sea. He hummed happily with each spoon that entered his mouth the whipped cream and sparkles making his mood even better. You yourself liked your dessert but his big smile made it taste even better. And when you noticed the ice cream at the corner of his mouth you chuckled softly getting his attention. You placed the cup by your leg as your now empty hands grabbed his chin and cheek and you leaned closer. Your lips touched the corner of his getting the cold treat and you pulled away while licking your lips. His eyes widened as his face got redder and not necessarily from the hot weather.
Kota Sako - With him, it seemed like a checkpoint, to get some sweet dessert anywhere you were. Somehow he had this 6th sense to pick the best place and the best food options. And so you found yourself with two pretty and tasty ice cream desserts in front of you. You ate yours praising him for his great choice and he smiled enjoying his. Then he picked the best flavours that he knew you'd like and scooped them on his spoon before extending it towards you. You let him feed you feeling warm as he leaned close to be more comfortable. You of course reciprocated and the both of you ate the desserts sharing them between you two.
Playing in water 🌊💦
Tasuku Tsubakino - You had your swimwear on. It was flattering on you and fit you perfectly. And you had to use it in the water. You looked at them, as they were lying there in the beach chair tanning. You huffed to yourself knowing it was already a few good minutes that the both of you spent not in the water, where you really wanted to be. You asked once more if they wanted to join you but as you received yet another no you begrudgingly entered the water alone. Your gaze moved to them as they turned to their stomach and away from you and you smirked as a plan developed in your mind. You quickly ran up to them and picked them up as they yelled at the cold water clinging to you and squirmed in your hold. You held them tightly to your chest and entered the water together while they squealed and when you let them down on their legs they had no mercy. They splashed you just like you wanted while yelling at you and laughing when you begged them to stop.
Taiga Tsugeura - He was the one to bring you to the water and encourage you to play with him as you splashed joyfully. Then he proposed to bring you on his shoulder and carry you. Soon you made it into a game with others to see who was the best. His hands tightly gripped at your legs as he maneuvered expertly making you the winner and taking part in pushing every opponent of yours into the water. In the end, in celebration, and with your acceptance he threw you back from his shoulders making sure you were alright, and grabbing at your waist as he helped you swim back above the water.
Teruomi Inugami - You were lying on the beach towel enjoying the sunshine unaware of what he was getting ready for. Somehow he got his hands on the water pump gun. How? You weren't sure he just got it and you got to know about it only when he ran up to you attacking you and spraying the water over you. You watched in relief as he avoided your bag and all the things you brought only wetting your swimsuit and the towel you were on as you grabbed it and tried to cover yourself from his attacks. His laughter filled the air and he jumped to sit near you when the water gun was empty. You grimaced at him but seeing his happy face a smile appeared on yours as well.
Swimsuit 👙 🩳
Kyotaro Sugishita - As soon as you came to the beach everyone started getting ready taking their clothes off or going to the changing rooms to put on their swimsuits. He was already dressed in one so he just started pulling out the beach mat for the both of you. His eyes caught the movement from your side and he stared with open mouth while you took off your clothes. Left in your chosen swimsuit he immediately stood up and put the Hawaiian shirt he had on around your shoulder to make sure others don't look at your body.
Haruka Sakura - Both of you decided to do some shopping for the beach trip Umemiya was organizing. Sakura was quick to pick some swimming trunks for himself while you had your hands full of colorful swimwear you wanted to try on. You made him wait for you and give opinions about which was the best choice. His face was red basically all the time as you showed off the swimsuits to him in the changing room. He was literally having the best and worst time of his life.

𝟏𝟖+ 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 (𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐃𝐍𝐈)
Jogging onto the community court, you reached out to tap the tall blonde on the shoulder. “Hey, got room for one more?”
He flashed you a smirk over his shoulder.
“That depends if you’re any good,” he quipped.
You narrowed your eyes but were unaffected. In athletic circles, you were used to being viewed with suspicion.
Before you could say anything, a lanky brunette sidled up beside the blonde and clapped him fondly on the shoulder.
“Why so serious, Keishin?” the chestnut-haired man teased with a grin. “It’s only a pick-up match!”
The blonde, Keishin, replied through gritted teeth, “I’m just trying to make sure she can keep up.”
Keishin shrugged off his friend’s grip and stalked away to the rest of his encircled teammates. You let out an indignant scoff.
The brunette laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his neck. “Hey, don’t mind him. He’s just a little…”
You raised your eyebrows. “Rude?”
He chuckled and shook his head. “I was going to say ‘competitive.’” The brunette reached out to shake your hand. “My name’s Mori Yukinari. And you?”
“I’m Y/N.”
“Good to meet you. You ever play before?”
You nodded in assent.
“What position?”
“Libero,” you replied without missing a beat.
“Nice! I’m a middle blocker.” Yukinari jabbed a thumb in Keishin’s direction. “And Keishin over there is the best setter we’ve got.”
You smirked. “Good to know he’s done something to earn that ego of his.”
Yukinari laughed, looking uncomfortable. But before either of you could say anything else, Keishin called over his shoulder, “You both coming or what?”
“We better get going,” Yukinari said sheepishly. “Keishin doesn’t like to be kept waiting.”
Of course he doesn’t, you thought, shooting Keishin your best dagger eyes.
. . .
The score was 10-10, match point. It was Keishin’s serve when you rotated back into the game, replacing Yukinari.
Yukinari patted you on the back as he subbed out. “You got this, Y/N!”
You smiled and nodded, grateful for the encouragement. Leaving your half-guzzled water bottle forgotten courtside, you took your place in the back row, relaxing into the familiar stance.
As Keishin’s eyes scanned your side of the net, you swore you saw him crack a smirk as his gaze lingered on you for a moment too long. You furrowed your brow, refusing to let his amber irises throw you off your game.
Frowning, Keishin tossed the ball and slammed it across the net. His serve was unassuming but accurate, the same as it’s been all game; despite his extended efforts, Keishin showed no signs of tiring…
But then again, neither did you. As one of your teammates – a dark-haired man with glasses – closed in to receive, the ball hit his thumb at the wrong angle.
His call of “my bad!” sounded so faraway, it may as well have been underwater. You’d already locked eyes on your target, watching as the ball rocketed across the net off-kilter.
The other team’s wing spiker leapt to take advantage of the botched hit, but you saw him coming. You pivoted to the left, predicting the arc of his spike before the player’s palm even made contact.
In a split second, you dove. The ball hit your hand exactly how you anticipated it would. You smiled in relief as your team’s setter closed in on the saved pass. Fast as lightning, the setter tossed the ball to the middle blocker, who smacked it across the court in an unexpected attack.
Keishin’s face fell as the ball hits his side of the court, just inside the line. As you picked yourself up and dusted yourself off, Yukinari ran over and ruffled your hair affectionately.
“Hey, great work out there, champ! Mind if I get your number so we can play again sometime?”
You nodded, accepting his proffered cell phone to type in your number. But your fingers punched the buttons on autopilot, because you were only looking at Keishin.
. . .
You and Keishin were the last two players left on the court.
You’d already bid Yukinari and the rest of the Volleyball Association goodbye, only staying behind to pack up your bag and change your shoes for the walk home. Meanwhile, you had overheard Keishin mutter something about staying behind to practice his serve.
Quickly, you gathered that he had no intention of doing so. Instead, Keishin approached you, his broad build looming overhead as you slipped into your favorite pair of sneakers.
“You’ve been playing a long time.” Keishin phrased it as a statement, rather than a question.
“Since middle school.” You sprung to your feet, slinging your bag over your shoulder. “Much like you, I imagine.”
Keishin merely grunted, avoiding your gaze. He spoke so quietly, you weren’t sure you heard him correctly: “I’m sorry I underestimated you.”
You smirked. “I wouldn’t be a libero if I wasn’t used to being underestimated.”
“Can I buy you a drink?” he spilled out.
Keishin’s words took you by surprise, but the even bigger surprise was that they weren’t at all unwelcome.
“Loser buys,” you answered coyly, already making your way off the court.
. . .
Keishin used his keychain to open the glass bottle, then slid you the beer across the counter.
Your eyes scan the convenience shop aisles, cluttered with half-unpacked boxes. “You know, when you said you wanted to buy me a drink, this wasn’t what I had in mind.”
Keishin smirked. “And when I showed up to scrimmage today, you weren’t what I had in mind.”
You raised your beer as if to say ‘touché,’ then took a hearty sip. The hoppy taste coated your tongue, hitting all the right spots on the way down.
“Does it run in the family, then?” Keishin asked, nursing his own bottle. “Your love of volleyball?”
“What makes you think I love volleyball?”
Keishin rolled his eyes. “A coach can always tell.”
“You coach?” You cocked an eyebrow. “Not for the girls’ team, I hope?”
Keishin glared at you across the countertop. “For the Karasuno boys’ team.”
“Impressive. I heard they’re on a fast track to nationals this year.” You took another sip. “Did you play for Karasuno, too?”
“I did.” Keishin took a drink. “But you didn’t.”
You tipped your head questioningly. “And how would you know that?”
Keishin smirked. “Because I would’ve remembered if the girls’ team had had a player who looked like you.”
You tried to convince yourself it was the alcohol flushing your cheeks.
“You’d better be talking about my form,” you joked with feigned indignance.
Coolly, Keishin gulped down the last of his beer, then chucked the empty bottle into a cardboard box beneath the cash register.
After a moment of silence, he met your gaze head-on and deadpanned, “I wasn’t.”
You held his amber stare for so long, it felt like time itself stood still. Scrambling for a volleyball was one thing, but it had been a long time since anyone left you scrambling for words like this.
Surely this can’t be happening, you thought. Surely a guy who looked like that – tall, blonde, athletic – couldn’t be hurting for a piece of ass… unless, of course, he had already burned all of his bridges in this small town. Maybe that’s why he was so eager to get his hands on someone new.
You knew you shouldn’t fall for his charming little act. You knew you should grab your keys, walk out that door, and go home like nothing had happened. But you were too dumbfounded to leave; too enchanted by his brash but earnest nature and his stupid bleached man-bun to do anything but watch as Keishin flipped the “Open” sign to “Closed.”
Keishin trapped you between his muscular forearms and leaned in, until you could taste the tobacco and malt on his breath.
“Tell me to stop and I’ll stop,” he murmured.
Your chest quivered with shallow breaths. The seconds stretched on like the last mile of a marathon.
“Please, god, don’t stop,” you exhaled, closing the distance between your lips.
You threw your arms around Keishin’s neck. He kissed like he played volleyball, anticipating your every move and somehow finding a way to surprise you anyways.
Keishin’s arms wrapped around the small of your back. You gasped as he lowered you onto the countertop, sweeping a pile of merchandise onto the floor with a single swipe of his arm. He slipped a knee between your legs to part them, and you arched eagerly into his kiss, feeling yourself become slick with yearning.
Keishin lifted up the hem of your shirt to leave marks on your stomach, growling with impatience. “I need you, now.”
Keishin rose to his knees to strip off his own shirt as you unbuckled his belt. You freed his cock and ran your hand along his impressive shaft with reverence; stroked the soft tufts of dark hair at its base; massaged his balls until you could feel his thighs shake.
“Enough.” Keishin bit down on your shoulder, pinning your hands overhead. “It’s my turn.”
Keishin yanked off your athletic skort and your panties, deftly curling two fingers inside of your aching cavity. He nipped lightly at your neck as you clung to him desperately, burying your face in his collarbone.
“K-Keishin!”
“That’s right, baby,” Keishin chuckled darkly, tipping your chin up so you were forced to meet his eyes. “Say my name.”
“Keishin, that’s-” you gasped obediently.
Before you could finish your sentence, he hooked your thigh around his forearm. Without pausing to undress either of you completely, he slid his rock-hard length into the crevice between your legs.
“A-ah!” you gasped, unprepared for the intimate way his bare cock caressed your walls.
You weren’t inexperienced at sex by any means, but this was the first time you had been so careless with a man; so desperate to have him, now, that you didn’t even pause to ponder the question of protection.
Fucking him this closely, without anything between you, felt dangerous; felt forbidden. You had always assumed that unprotected sex would make you too anxious to enjoy yourself, but you had assumed wrongly. Instead, the taboo only made this moment feel freer, leaving you uninhibited to reach your climax faster than you ever had with any other one-night stand.
“You gonna cum for me, baby?” Keishin teased in a syrupy tone. “You gonna make a mess all over this fucking cock?”
You nodded, eyes full of tears. You were so close to the edge that you could hardly speak.
“Hold still,” Keishin groaned, nails digging into your thighs as he tightened his grip on your body. “Hold still and take it, you little cumslut.”
You gasped, desperate tears rolling down your cheeks as he rammed his dick deeper into your sensitive cunt. Without ceasing the gyration of his hips, Keishin closed his hand around your neck with a firm, warning grip.
“Open,” he ordered, brushing your bottom lip with his thumb. You obliged.
Keishin spit. You expected to hate it, but it only made you want him more. He smiled at the sight of you, messy and ruined, beneath him and leaned in to kiss you again.
Attached to you at the lips, he pounded into your deepest-hidden spots until your toes curled, your entire body writhing beneath him.

King of Diamonds - Part VII
The air was cool around us, and Yukinari shivered. I was pretty sure that it wasn’t the temperature inside the dim building that made her do that. Seven days ago, she had lost her only son during a Hearts game, and this was the second time she’d play for her live.
With the tiny difference that this time, I’d make sure she survived.
“It’ll be okay”, I whispered quietly enough so the other players around us wouldn’t hear. So far, seventeen people had gathered in what used to be the hallway of Nanzan Elementary School, with colorful drawings still hanging on the walls. But I could see that the building had been altered, with additional walls that most likely hadn’t been there before the Borderlands, probably so the area would suit the game better.
Yukinari wrapped her arms tightly around her chest, her gaze wandering from side to side anxiously. She kept her voice down, afraid that it’d be another game turning people against each other. “How could you know?”
“I can’t”, I lied. “But I have a good feeling about this. It helped with my last games as well.”
I knew, of course, that this would be a Six of Spades. Four doors leading to four different trials, ranging from easy-peasy to impossible. Within the last day, I had made sure to memorize every one of them, so I’d be able to choose the easiest door for me and recommend it to Yukinari. Although this was designed to be a single-player game with no restriction for the amount of people joining, I wouldn’t let her do this alone. It was a silent promise I had made to myself three days prior, when we’d first met in the Camp.
Yukinari just shrugged, not at all convinced. “Why didn’t you bring your boyfriend here? The blonde, haughty one?”
Her description of Chishiya made me laugh, a sound so foreign to this atmosphere that several people turned their heads. Not that I cared. “We try not to enter games together”, I explained, trying to stick as close to the truth as possible. In fact, Chishiya had found much more interest in a Ten of Diamonds than this game here, and I would bet anything that he actually enjoyed himself a lot there. Reading the rules on the board had been so confusing to me already, I barely had understood the game at all. It would be heaven for him. “You know better than anyone… There might always be a game leaving only one winner. We don’t want to risk that.”
She nodded, understanding immediately. Did she regret getting into her first game together with her son? If so, she didn’t say. “Clever. It would make me scared, to be honest, not knowing what happens to my love… But I get why you’d do that. Although…”
Pausing for a moment, she ran her hand through her hazel curls, unsure if she should continue. In the end, she decided against it, and I turned around and left her with her own thoughts, while I examined the people around us. It felt so wrong that most of them would probably run into their death, and I’d walk through the door, jump over a few obstacles and continue to live. Then again, I tried to remind myself again and again that I had been there, just like them. I had managed to survive games without knowing the solutions either, and I earned this. Maybe it wasn’t exactly allowed to help someone else through, but if it was true what Myoka had told me, than no one would punish us for manipulating a bit here and there.
I glanced at the phone in my hands, stating that the face recognition had been finished and that the game would start in less than a minute.
One more person hurried through the entrance and quickly grabbed a phone, before the familiar jingle stopped all the hushed conversations around the hallway. Every pair of eyes moved to the phones, and the computer voice begun to explain our challenge for tonight.
GAME: PARCOUR.
DIFFICULTY: SIX OF SPADES.
RULES: CHOOSE A DOOR AND MASTER THE TRIAL TO REACH THE FINISH LINE. IF YOU SUCCEED, IT’LL BE GAME CLEAR.
That was all we were told. Nothing hinted at the fact that the blue door would reveal a challenge that was just impossible, no matter how skilled you were, and that the green door was basically nothing but an empty corridor, easy to walk through.
My wrists begun to itch and I scratched them thoughtfully, remembering the King of Hearts just too well. No matter what, it seemed that this game would haunt me until I took my last breath. But the four doors seemed so familiar, and for a moment I felt as if I was sitting on that electric chair again.
“Breathe”, Yukinari whispered to me, as if I’d be the one who needed the reassurance. “It’s a Six… That’ll be doable, right?”
Her voice was trembling, and I nodded, unable to find my own voice for the moment. I took a deep breath, then another. This was not the King of Hearts. I would not be responsible for other people’s lives, and no one would rely on another person. I would not be punished again for helping my team to win. My heart wouldn’t stop again.
“It will definitely be doable”, I finally answered after clearing my throat. People around us were still discussing which door might be the best, and I watched how the first one, a dark-haired man with dirty clothes, hurried through the red door. Not the empty corridor, but the easy trial. He’d make it if he wasn’t utterly stupid.
Someone else tried to open the same door, but it was locked, most likely because the first player was still in there. Unwilling to wait, he chose the blue door instead. I knew he’d be dead within seconds.
Five more people went through the doors, and I didn’t bother to pay attention to most of them. Instead I focused on Yukinari, the wrinkles in her face more and more noticeable as anxiety around us rose. We didn’t know what happened on the other side of the doors, and we didn’t know who would wait behind the finish line. We did hear screams of horror through the closed doors, though.
Even with my knowledge, it was easy to get more nervous with every person leaving.
Yukinari reached for my hand, and I took it. She was far older than me, she could actually have been my mother, and I assumed that she wanted to see me as some kind of replacement for her son, Masaru. Was this the reason I had the urge to get her through to the end? As some kind of apology to my own family, which I’d never see again?
I shook it off and squeezed her hand, turning her focus to me. “We should go now”, I suggested as only a handful of players remained around us. “What do you think? Green or red, I’d say.”
My statement was met with a questioned look. “Why?”
Shrugging, I took a step towards the doors and tried to sound as casual as possible. “It’s a feeling in my guts. Something I can’t explain… But it helped me through the last games as well. I can’t ask you to trust me, but if I had to bet…”
“Okay. I trust you. So…” Yukinari took a deep breath before letting go of my hand, “I’ll take green and you take red?”
I nodded, glad that she chose the easiest door on her own. Simultaneously, we headed for the doors, giving a last nod to each other before we entered.
The handle of the red door felt slightly wet, probably from sweaty hands that had touched them before, and I wiped my hands on my pants as soon as I was alone in the next room. There had been no images on the board back in the hotel, but clear descriptions of the trials, so it almost felt familiar to look at what stretched out in front of me.
Similar to a children’s playground, a chain bridge was hovering not more than thirty centimeters over the ground, which was filled with only a few centimeters of water. After the bridge, a dozen wide stone slaps leaded to the other side of the room. Easy enough even for small children, with only one little detail to make it harder: the water was charged and would immediately kill me.
I couldn’t prevent a grin from appearing on my face when someone called my name. My face snapped to the right, only to see Yukinari waving to me. Just now I realized that the doors didn’t lead to different hallways but one huge room, and the four trials were parted by nothing but the deadly water.
“Your guts were absolutely right!” Yukinari called to me, and I could see the obvious relief on her face when she hurried to the other side, where all four paths connected to one big platform. A handful of people lingered there already, either sitting on the ground or leaning to the walls. And as my face turned to the left, I found the other players.
Since the water was so shallow, their corpses were easy to make out. Some swam in there, face turned up with horrified expressions, others had fallen into the water face-down. Those were much easier to look at.
The trial to my left was still manageable, but incredibly hard. Almost everything was hanging in the air, forcing the players to use their arms to haul themselves across the distances. The last obstacle was a long balancing pole, and this was where most people had died.
But the hardest trial was nothing but unfair. Over a span of what must have been ten meters, just a single pole reached out of the water. No one of us would have been able to jump that far.
The bridge of my trial swayed from side to side as I stepped on to it, but the railway was made from solid wood and it only took a few seconds to cross it. I was a bit more careful on the slabs, but there was plenty of space to place both my feet on them, and within mere minutes, I made it to the end.
On the very last slab, just as I was about to jump onto the end platform, I heard a frustrated cry from the other side of the room. The next player had opened the blue door and was facing the single pole out of reach. It must have been easy for him to assess the whole situation with so many corpses lying in the water, and a single glance was enough to see his eyes flicker through the room, trying to search for some kind of loop hole.
“Come here”, Yukinari whispered, reaching her hand out for me to take. She pulled me towards her and half-hugged me, her eyes following mine. “We don’t have to watch”, she added, but we both knew that was a lie. Neither of us could look away, and I couldn’t tell if it was the hope for that guy to survive or the morbid fascination of death that forced us to stare.
On the other side, frustration turned into anger. “Don’t look at me like that! Help me!” he shouted, but what could we have done? I knew the doors were locked from this side of the room, so we couldn’t go back and open his. And waiting for another player would be fruitless – the blue door was now locked until he got to the finish line. Hopeless.
Yukinari squeezed my shoulders harder when the guy turned back to his door, took a last breath, ran to the edge of the platform as fast as he could, and jumped. We all held our breaths and time seemed to slow down while he aimed for the pole, crossing a distance I never thought anyone would be able to jump. And then, he actually made it.
Squatting down to balance himself, he landed on the pole, breathing hard and face pulled into a grimace of concentration. I wanted to cheer for him, but he was not finished yet. Instead, he was now facing a much bigger problem: our platform was the same distance, although he had no chance to take a run this time. He frantically searched the air for anything he could hold on to, a loose wire or a piece of wood, but there was nothing. Only the corpses around him in the water, and touching them would be as lethal as touching the water.
While Yukinari finally averted her eyes, I continued to watch as he crouched down even more, pressed his heels into the pole to get as much pressure as possible, and jumped again.
It was clear from the very first second that he wouldn’t make it. Another woman from our side reached out a hand to help him while his eyes widened in panic, knowing he was about to fail, and it was the worst she could have done. In the same moment he took the offered the hand, the guy’s feet touched the surface of the water and his body twisted in shock. The electricity was conducted to the woman’s body as well, and they both fell into the water, dead within seconds.
“Stupid…” someone behind me muttered, and finally, I was able to look away.
We waited for the remaining four players to cross the trials, and none of them chose blue. Only one decided to take the yellow door, and she died at the very first obstacle. The other tree made it, and the exit opened with a feint click.
Half of the players were dead, and not a single word was spoken as we left the elementary school through a back door. I barely noticed how one of the others grabbed the single Six of Spades card that had been placed on a metal table and ran away with it. It didn’t matter who owned the cards; I knew that. The first stage would end as soon as every game type had been cleared at least once. So let him have his little trophy if it made him feel better. Right now, I wasn’t too eager for the face card games to start anyway. I wasn’t ready to lose Chishiya yet.
Yukinari breathed out heavily next to me and pulled me into a tight hug. “We made it! We’re still alive! I can almost believe it. Six more days to live in this rotten apocalypse.” She gave me a wink, adding: “I should always follow your guts. They seem to know what’s best to survive.”
I snorted. Maybe it wasn’t the best choice according to survival to accept Citizenship, but that was something I would never speak out loud in front of a normal player.
“Wanna return to the Camp?” Yukinari asked, but I shook my head. I had done enough to save her life for now.
Kicking away a stone that lay in front of me, I muttered: “I’ll look for Chishiya. He must have finished his game, too.”
“Keeping my fingers crossed that he’s made it through!”
Waving as a goodbye, we parted at the next corner. Yukinari headed for the Camp, where beer and weed would await her, and I tried to remember where I’d find the Arisugawa-no-miya Park, the location of Chishiya’s Diamonds game.
He had told me that the game would take place on a boat, since the park had a quite beautiful lake, and even though it must have took me half an hour to get there – after I’d taken the wrong turn twice – I could see the lights from the boat reflecting on the water surface. It was a beautiful sight with only the stars and moon as the other light sources and the rest of the park being completely dark. I found a bench close to the lake and sat down, kneels pulled to my chest to fight away the chilly night air, and waited.
Once in a while, I’d see shadows walking past the lit windows, but I couldn’t make out any details. It surprised me that the game took that long, and I couldn’t help but wonder if everything went alright. It was a Ten of Diamonds after all, probably the most mentally challenging game of the first stage. And most people were still new to this, so how likely was it for them to succeed?
Then again, Chishiya knew the rules and how to clear it, and he wouldn’t have chosen a game he couldn’t survive. Not if he could work towards becoming the King of Hearts in the new future.
“Oh, Shuntarou…” I muttered, “where have we gotten ourselves into?”
Inevitably I thought about the conversation we’d had with Rikki almost a week prior. She had suggested that I’d lead one of the Clubs games, since the balanced ones seemed to suit me best. I tried to imagine being one of the Face Cards. People would fear me. They would be fascinated by me, like I had been viewing the Face Cards as some kind of alien creatures. Not one of them. A monster, maybe.
I understood why Rikki felt so appealed by becoming the Queen of Spades. Having so much power over others probably felt like a drug, an addiction that made you want it more and more. And most Citizens weren’t afraid of death, at least not any longer. They knew that it’d await them eventually, and they were ready for it. Rikki was ready to be slaughtered like the King of Spades had been killed, but she planned to take hundreds of others down before that happened. The thought repelled me, but I had to acknowledge the strength that came with such a mindset.
And the more I thought about it, the more I was sure that I was not ready yet.
Before I could think about this any longer, I noticed the boat had started to move towards the shore. Finally, the game must have come to an end, and I got up as a ramp was led down and the first players started to exit.
Their faces were mostly hidden in the darkness, but the air around them was tense. Spending hours in such a hard game must have been exhausting, and it was easy to imagine the relief of having ten days of rest now.
And then, being the last person to leave the boat, Chishiya strolled towards me with his hands tucked in his pockets, a sly smirk on his face. As soon as he was close enough, I threw myself into his arms and buried my face in the fabric of his hoodie. Chishiya’s hand moved to my hair, ruffling it softly with a chuckle.
“Missed me?”
“You have no idea.”
I took a few seconds to simply stay there before I felt ready to step back, looking into his moonlit face, smug as always. “That must have been hours! What did you do, stall the game to torture the other players?”
“Got me there. Whoops.” His grin grew even wider, and it was still there after I pulled his face to me for a quick kiss.
Reaching for his hand, we both started to walk, and I let Chishiya direct the way since he’d know better where to go. “You’re an asshole, do you know that?”
He squeezed my hand, muttering: “Oh, I’m perfectly aware.”
I almost asked about his game, but somehow the silence felt too comfortable and it would have probably caused me a headache anyway. And I knew that Chishiya wouldn’t be interested in the Six of Spades, since he had briefly scanned the layout back in the hotel and knew everything that was of interest for him.
Instead I listened to the sounds around us, of animals scurrying through the bushes and the shadows of bats hiding the moon for split seconds. The moon was just bright enough to light the path in front of our feet, and when the lasers appeared on the sky this night, I didn’t even flinch. Chishiya noticed, giving me a quick glance with a raised eyebrow, but he remained silent.
He didn’t pull away his hand when we entered the hotel, where I had to blink several times to adjust to the bright lights. Many people were still awake, lots of them just coming back from games, others still eating or talking together, recalling the games of the day.
It made me proud that Chishiya didn’t bother all those people seeing us holding hands as we walked to his room, and no comment came from him when I slipped out of my shoes and jeans and into one of his shirts. No reminder that snoring and excessive cuddling were forbidden here, or that I shouldn’t steal all of his clothes.
I crawled under the blanket, waiting for it to get warm, while I watched Chishiya put off anything but his shirt and boxers. He eventually joined me, and it immediately became much more comfortable, so I couldn’t resist snuggling up to him.
“You didn’t brush your teeth”, he muttered dryly, and his unfazed voice made me laugh.
I kissed his skin and closed my eyes with a smile. “Neither did you.”

cw: mother's day, hospital
Like every year, Green, Daisy and their grandmother Agatha visited miss Sara Oak in her privative room at Celadon's Hospital to celebrate the mother's day.
They'd bring flowers and chocolate, books for Sara to read, souvenirs from all over the world in the hopes they could make her world a bit bigger once again. Then, she'd smile and speak with her weak tiny voice even though everyone would ask her not to.
But today it's different.
The past months it seems Sara's health has gotten even worse. Without strength to move or sit down, without strength to stay awake for too long. Not even her hands could sign words of reassurance anymore.
The mood inside the room was gloomy. Agatha kept complaining about how Yukinari hasn't come yet- and how he almost never did. About how this aught to be all his fault for not properly taking care of her child.
Daisy worked hard to pacify their grandmother. It was a remembrance of how Green's pregnancy took a heavy tool on her body; how it was actually his fault rather than Oak's. But the young professor couldn't say anything except stay on his foot by the door, hands tucked inside his pockets, heavy bags under his eyes.
Eventually, Agatha left after kissing her daughter goodbye.
The siblings stayed in silence for long moments, quietly listening to the low noise Sara's breathing machine would make. Carefully gazing at her sleeping face, looking so skinny and undead as a living person could.
"Green..." she started, softly. "You know none of this is your fault."
He looked down with a frown, words locked inside his throat as he felt like maybe he was becoming a little like his mother and unable to breath as well.
"Grandma is just upset about mom. Just like we are. She's not very good at expressing her emotions and that's why she gets angry. I'm sure she's just-..."
"I know." the professor cut his sister. His steps echoes as he approached his mother's bed. "I know..."
Daisy looked down at the book she bought as a gift for her mother. A history book, because she knew Sara were very interested about the past and the lore of the whole world.
There were other books around the room. Books she read and cherished, books her children has brought her so her tiny world could feel a little bigger again.
Green, without looking away from his mother's face, spoke with a harsh simple tone about something they've been avoiding for so long.
"She's gonna die soon."
It's not like Daisy had how to complain. She felt like chiding him for saying something so gloomy but the odds weren't good for them. The doctors and nurses have been giving them sad, empathetic looks for weeks now.
"Maybe it's for the best." which made his sister frown. But he continued before she could speak up: "Because then she wouldn't need to suffer anymore. Tied to this bed for almost thirty years. Only able to breath because of a machine. Physiotherapy for her legs because she's never been able to get up and walk around anymore.
I know... she's always said it didn't bother her. But I know it did... It does."
Daisy did not feel good about this. Although her little brother has a point, it's just insensitive to say such things out loud. Maybe Sara missed being free, but it doesn't mean her life here was bad.
Right?
It's not because Green blames himself for every little problem in the word that he gets to speak such mean things.
"I thought you had grown up." sharp like a knife, yet quiet. "Mom loves being alive no matter if she had to be in the hospital. She loves us, and she can be happy despite her limitations!"
That is true. But the shame just adds another weight for the scales of his sins. How would he not feel like she could have such a better, fulfilling life if it wasn't by that? We all want out lovely ones to be healthy and happy.
He doesn't look at his sister. Instead, he leans closer to his mother.
Only if he could change places with her. She'd be much happier; she'd be astounding as a history researcher, she'd make everyone so much proud. A gem that would undoubtedly make the world brighter for everyone.
Instead, he's nothing but a boy playing professor.
"You should leave if you're gonna keep acting like a spoiled kid. But... I wish she'd wake up before you go, so you can wish her a happy mother's day."
He doesn't.
Instead, he walks back to the door, still not looking back to his sister. He speaks a little louder now;
"I'm gonna go find Gramps and drag him here." that, Daisy could agree. "If she wakes up..."
"I'll tell her." she nodded slowly, ignoring as the young professor who didn't even took off his jacket left and closed the door behind him.
Despite hating the way he said it, it was clear there was a thing she couldn't disagree, no matter how hard and heart-wrenching it was. She only hopes she right when saying Sara loved her life.
But their mother did not wake up that day.

The ghost hand/white hand on Red’s shoulder is implied to be a relic of something that happened to his mother involving a war-brought famine.
It’s incredibly ominous and the only reason it shows up for the first time in Lavender Town is because people generally are more sensitive to other entities in/around the area. It’s been with him since he was seven.
The reason why it’s just a hand’s a little scarier.
Red clinically died as a kid when he became ill really fast and out of nowhere. He burnt up with fever, and nearly bled to death from his mouth, suffocating.
He was clinically dead for ten minutes, and was resuscitated by an emergency defib Pikachu after they actually could get him to breathe, owned by Yukinari Ohkido- but they had to strong arm him back to life because he was so far gone.
In that brief period of time that he was definitely gone something attached itself to him.
And then it got graphically cut off when he came back. The hand’s still there. And occasionally it has actively hurt him.
It is a dangerous entity. It can’t be removed because it’s just part of him. Psychics and Aura users can attempt interactions with it but there’s a good chance it’ll be completely unresponsive (it’s a hand and it’s stuck), or it’ll dig in and cause a lot of pain or be extremely dangerous for the people around it. For people that don’t care that might not be a problem. There’s absolutely no feasible way to remove it safely.
It gives off the impression of a ticking time bomb.

There is a letter waiting for the Professor after the tournament, for his leisure to read whenever he had the time. (He's a busy man, they know this.)
Even if it's signed from the director of the school, it's in Hassel's hand because Clavell's calligraphy for Kantonian was absolutely atrocious. Hassel's is nice because it's been practiced since he was tiny.
Dear Professor Ohkido,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to speak on the matters of Pokemon, Evolution and the strangeness therein at the Academy located in the heart of Mesagoza, the pride of the Paldea region.
This trip shall be entirely funded on our behalf, and is flexible to your schedule, barring the latter half of the semester dedicated to the Treasure Hunt.
Please respond when you are available and we shall arrange travel and board for your trip.
Sincerely and with grace,
Director Clavell & the Staff
The letter is absolutely a welcome one when he does return to the Pallet lab for the night. Paldean research was sequestered and very difficult to access even with the clearances Kanto brokered with other regions. It's an opportunity to begin that process of brokering more, collaborating, and forming positive relations with their high ranking officials.
To the Director and Staff of Paldea's Narajna-Uva Academy,
I am pleased to hear from the Academy, and congratulate you thoroughly on your incredible representation at the Pokémon World Tournament. I humbly accept your offer to lecture at your Academy, and look forward to the opportunity.
Paldea is home to a rich academic history. One I've been eager to explore.
I will be available this coming fall. I will contact you post-haste with further logistical plans.
Again, I appreciate the opportunity and am excited to share with your students a small bit of my research.
Dr. Yukinari Ohkido.

Continued Liveblogging ep 6 & 7
Oooooooo more Doubashi flashbacks!
I wish we knew for sure which one of them won their race!
Doubashi says that Kaburagi caught up at the end but it's still unclear.
Doubashi is just so happy that he got to lead his teaming the final sprint though! All he felt was joy! Good for him!
THEY FELL ON EACH OTHER!!!! 🤣 Bless.
You know it's not my ship but I'm rooting for Doubashi.
Danchiku will absolutely win. But I'm rooting for Doubashi anyway. He can like a Kouhai. As a treat.
??????????????????????
Yuuto wasn't a Creep until this very moment?
What gives?
I know he developed a shining piece of admiration for Onoda last time but like..... This seems a bit much.
Why?
I'm gonna chalk it up as a fluke.
I love that I love that Izumida and Yukinari's repaired dynamic leads to fun things! They cause so much mayhem together! 💖
I couldn't care less about Kyoto Fushimi y'all. 😤🙄😒
OOF Naruko hit Ashikiba right where it hurt and he didn't even mean it nasty!
Poor Ashikiba. He especially wouldn't want that poked at in front of Teshima and Yuki. 💔😭
So here's my thingm we're sort of on the final leg of the 3rd days race. Because the finish line is in the mountains at the end of a climb.
We're on Episode 7.
How is this going to keep going for 19 episodes??? (Including this one)
NARUKO!!!! 😂💖💖💖 HE NEVER STOPS!!! AND NOW HE'S DECIDED TO WIN BY SHIFTING HIS SIGHTS TO /BOTH/ OF THEM!!!
Yes ABSOLUTELY put your arms around both of their shoulders and hold bith of their hands!
You can have it all and be the 2nd/3rd year OT3 after this race!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖
Amazing!!! 10/10 😭😭😭😭😭💖💖💖💖💖
WHAT AN INNUENDO
Teshima that Pressure is called True Love! 💖 Get with it babe!
PLEASE DONT SACRIFICE NARUKO THIS YEAR PLEASE I BEG OF YOU LET THEM SORT OF HAVE THAT 3 MAN FINISH
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
IzuYuki hours!!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖😭😭😭😭😭
He praised him in the most meaningful way augh!!!! 😫💖
Oh they kinda retconned their history a bit but I'm a HUGE fan of these changes and these moments so WOOOOO!!!!!
IZUMIDA'S UNENDING DEVOTION!!!!!!! 💖💖💖💖😫😫😫😭😭😭😭
U was gonna make an apostles joke but his back muscles are Fabian. 😞
HAKONE 3RD YEAR OT3 WOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉
Hmmmmmmmmm the retcon to take away Onoda's Mountain Ace position is a bit odd.
It makes for interesting plot currently though.
But like it kind of invalidates his promises to race Manami if he was never gonna be the Mountain Ace? Idk.
I guess we'll see. They're obviously still going to have their race because the whole series is built around it.

WOLF GAME
PHANTOM THIEVES & THE THREE MAPS - PART 4
━
A while later...
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : This is the rooftop? How the hell are we supposed to escape from way up here?
RINTAROU IIDA : Yoohoo~ Over here, Yukinari~♪
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : What the...?
I glanced in the direction Rintarou was pointing and spotted a fenced off area across the edge of the rooftop.
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : We've gotta climb this fence?
RINTAROU IIDA : Good job, you figured it out~♪ There should be an emergency staircase on the other side. We can sprint down and make our escape! Easy as pie~♪
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Seriously!? But we're on the rooftop, it's gonna be really high up isn't it?
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : (Oh no, I'm so scared my legs are beginning to tremble...)
RINTAROU IIDA : Don't worry about that! I'll lead the way~!
[ The sound of rattling metal. ]
Just like that, Rintarou is standing on the other side of the fence. Hands on hips wearing a proud smile on his face.
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : I really gotta climb this thing...? It's so high up...If I slip and fall from way up here I'll...
RINTAROU IIDA : Better hurry up! The guards are coming this way!
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Shit!
In the distance I could hear loud footsteps climbing the stairs to the rooftop. He was right, the security guards were hot on our trail.
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : (I can't afford to waste any more time! I gotta climb this damn thing, now!)
[ The sound of rattling metal. ]
RINTAROU IIDA : That's it, Yukinari! You're almost there!
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Uh...I got a problem...
RINTAROU IIDA : Why'd you stop climbing?
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : The pocket of my jacket got caught on the fence. I can't get it free!
RINTAROU IIDA : What!?
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Yeah...The Black Diamond I have in my pocket musta snagged on it or something...Ugh...
RINTAROU IIDA : This isn't good...
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : (Yeah...This is real bad...What the hell am I supposed to do? If I keep messing around, I'm gonna get caught...)
SECURITY GUARD C : Guys! I bet they excaped onto the rooftop, let's check it out!
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : (Fuck! They're getting closer!)
[ The sound of rattling metal. ]
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : (Shit! No matter how much I try to yank it free, the Black Diamond won't budge! I gotta think of something fast...Maybe if I take it out? But I can't climb like that...)
RINTAROU IIDA : Hey, Yukinari...
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Yeah!? What is it!?
RINTAROU IIDA : I just thought of an idea. Lemme hold the Black Diamond while you finish climbing down?
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Huh..!? I-I can't do that! This is something I stole, I can't risk you taking credit!
RINTAROU IIDA : Yeah, well, if you get caught here it's all over anyway, right~?
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : B-But...
RINTAROU IIDA : You don't have to worry about anything. I'll give it back. I promise. You can trust me~♪
YUKINARI SHIMOTSUKI : Rintarou....Fuck...F-Fine...But you better give it back...
With that, I pulled the Black Diamond out of the pocket of my jacket and passed it over the fence to Rintarou. No longer snagged on the metal wiring, I climbed over, following closely behind Rintarou as we rushed down the emergency staircase.

CHAPTER 1:
Arakita and his three fluffy bastards:
(entire series available here on AO3)
As soon as Arakita got home, he went straight to his bed. After a long day of cycling and dealing with his teammate's bullshit, he believed that he deserved a good night's rest. He yawned as and took off his sweaty clothes, leaving him in his vest and boxers. He threw the clothes into the laundry basket to deal with tomorrow. He fluffed up his pillow and laid his head down to rest...
However just as he was about to hit the hay,
"Mrow!" Arakita groaned as Yukinari, his Persian white cat was on top of him, his paws on Arakitas face, prying him for attention. Arakita growled as he sat up and picked Yukinari up. "Don't you have anything better to do?" he asked the cat who meowed back in response. Arakita laid yukinari down on his lap and pet his fur, scratching behind his ears and Yukinari started purring which immediately attracted his two other little bastards, Sangaku and Masakiyo into his room.
"Mrow~" Sangaku mewled as he jumped on the bed as well laying down next to Arakita, yawning as well. "Oi Sangaku, don't fall asleep on my bed!" He said trying to push Sangaku away but only seeming to make Sangaku want to sleep on the soft bed more. "Mrrrooww~" Sangaku complained, Arakita gave up and let Sangaku rest next to him which he appreciated and gave Arakita a happy little meow in response. Masakiyo waited at the door, staring at him with his angry face. "Mroow!" Arakita scoffed at Masakiyo who also patiently awaited to join in. "Oi Maa kun, you come up here as well." Masakiyo's eyes lit up and he followed as well making his way to Arakita's side. Yukinari had already fallen asleep on his lap, Sangaku following close behind, rolling into a ball next to Arakita. "Well Maa kun, get to sleep as well, I needa rest tomorrow so that I can deal with Kin and Miya Chan's bullshit." Arakita complains as he rests his head againist his pillow. Masakiyo purrs and licks Arakita's hand, Arakita smiles as he reciprocates, petting the top of his head as all of them slowly dozed off.

So!skullkxd:
oh.
So this is what Red meant by what he wanted to do. Ree is — completely thrown off, out of their element, at the offer. Their first gut instinct is to refuse — you don’t know me, what if I’m actually a bad person, what if I don’t deserve it — but they hold their thoughts in their chest and squeeze it tight. Ree swallows hard, fingers twitching, and …
Reaches out.
They know what this is. They’ve known what this is since they were a little twerp sitting alone in the sand as a child, with only a Rockruff as a companion. Since even before that, when they were just a snot nosed toddler in Unova, pouring over the photos of the Pokémon Professor juniper would give out every year.
(they had always wanted oshawott.)
three pokeballs. Not a gift, but rather, a choice.
Ree had never been chosen as a child. They had been rejected by the tapu, rejected by their family, rejected by their own sense of fear and anger. Something blooms in their chest, and they can’t help the nervous chuckle that comes from their chest.
“… better late than never.”
— and they reach out, taking each pokeball one at a time. Ree can see what they are without having to open them up.
A timid and gentle bulbasaur. He’s a little worried about the world, unsure and unsteady on his little chubby legs, but he loves with his entire heart. He always knows the right way to smooth over upset feelings, and is always considerate of others.
A sweet but hot tempered squirtle. Loving of their friends and loyal to a fault. He wants, more than anything, to explore, to travel and learn and become someone better than what he is now.
and lastly…
Ree’s hands curl around the charmander’s ball, and they look up. All of the Pokémon here are ones Ree can see themself training, can see parts of themself in, but…
“I want her.”
"Splendid! So! You want the fire Pokémon, Charmander. Wonderful. Charmander is an excellent choice for your team, I think. Go ahead and choose her.”
Red grins, giving a thumbs up. He’d felt the same thing when he walked in here, ages and ages ago. Green was jumping out of his skin to get a partner. He chose Blastoise, after Red had immediately chosen Charmander.
“Now, with this choice, also-” he was rifling around in a cabinet, filing through dozens and dozens of machines organized by year, and he selected one, quickly running it to the computer to log a trainer ID to it. Yukinari pulls the glasses off his shirt collar, placing them on his nose and pushing them up, and then hands Ree a tough-cased, red machine.
“Please take this. It might not be as high tech as a Rotom, but you can’t go wrong with the original for-the field Pokedex. Waterproof, fireproof-.... not lava proof. Mostly unbreakable. It’s my original invention!”
He grins, and hands the device to Ree.
“It helps me collect data for my research and helps everyone else too.”
He nods towards Red- the first Kantonian completionist.
“So? I hope you like it. It’s yours.”

_____________________________________
Appearance and Personality
Appearance: Himari has a petite but a bit curvy female body build. She has long and straight marine colored hair which she rarely ties it up during club activities. Like some of her dorm mates, she too is born heterochromia colored eyes, light navy blue colored on her left eye which it revealed to be her normal eye while her right is star sliver colored which it revealed to be her inner beast eye, which her right eye can glow whenever she uses her inner beast abilities but rarely being used. Himari is one of the few peace makers in the dorm but is slightly timid.
Personality: Born as the single daughter within a traditional household and historical family lineage, she lived rather a sheltered lifestyle, eventually her five older brothers are the ones who can keep her company aside from her other family members. Despite living a normal life but as a inner beast race, unknown to her family that a lost tradition within that was forgotten was now born within Himari.
Eventually as Himari turned at age twelve, during an attempt assault. It happened unexpectedly... The minute Himari recovered in the hospital, she couldn't remember what she just did. This was no amnesia at all. Himari never knew what had happened which her family ended up being worried, then so a secret was kept hidden that not even Himari herself can even know about it.
The current Himari were now seeing is officially recovered, although she seems a bit timid and a little geeky. Is mostly seen collecting notes for various plans on battle fields for her dorm to see after her search. Aside from that, she's pretty much of a shy social girl to see in the campus.
She's one of the few peace-makers, eventually Himari makes sure that nothing bad will happen in the dorm if Hotaru isn't available around. Eventually she kinda hates that most of her dorm members treated her a like kid in a friendly manner and wanted to prove that she's capable since she's one of the planners.
She's pretty much fun if you get to know her more if you have Akira's consent or not. Needless to say, she's pretty much nerdy since she's lives in a traditional household. So to sum it short, you get a new nerdy gal to chat around, who gets tons of info for you heard. Big chance to collect a gossip or two from her as well, Akira is also tagging along as well.
To beware that she's a full intelligence on battle assets. Himari's eye sight never fails to miss a single opportunity when in battle. Although that is only the side we can see, though the secret she has when in battle is something no one but to her closest ones can know about it.
With a secret she isn't aware of, eventually her other self can reveal at the worse moments.
_____________________________________
Trivia
-The name 'Himari' is most commonly spelled as 陽葵, a combination of Japanese 陽 (hi) meaning "sunshine" and 葵 (mari) meaning "hollyhock". While her surname 'Reyes' is a Spanish word, usually used as a given name or Spanish surname. The literal translation into English is 'kings', but could also be translated as 'royals' or 'royalty'.
-She's based on Nagisa Shiota from the series.
-She has been childhood friends with Akira.
-Is a bit annoyed with Clementine who has gained a little liking to her.
-Studies a lot of venom that she sees for her personal gain in battle.
-Seems to have trust Allison when it comes to the battle field analysis.
-Reports about the number of Akira and Clementine's bickering on a daily basis.
-Is a goddess at guessing games and other japanese games, especially traditional ones. She doesn't need hints or tips, just give her instructions.
-As mentioned, she has almost got into a assault until something or someone had been in her snapped through and survived. Unfortunately she doesn't remember on what she did. Possiblity that she has a split personality disorder that she isn't aware of and was kept as secret.
-Is an absolute contortionist during her school activities.
-Her voice sounds a little audible and meek. But the tone changes whenever she's serious in battle, additional to her unknown secret. Which is why I chose Toa Yukinari to be her voice actor.
-Is hooked onto anime, has a proud collection of it.
-Loves spicy food, it felt heaven to her than hell despite the burning taste.

“PROJECT SCARD” (Novel)
CHAPTER 8: EVEN IF THE WINGS ARE SCATTERED AND BROKEN (Complete)
Translation & Raws: Naru-kun
(List of Chapters)
"Ran... stupid! You came even though Jin stopped!"
Ikuya yelled.
"I can't stop like Jin."
He told him the facts.
"Stop! Ran! You know you can never beat them alone!"
Facing Ran holding a sword of ice, the darkness of "Hecate" formed a huge weapon, lined up to capture Ikuya and kill those who would come near.
"Ikuya. Shut up."
"Freswerg" flashed.
Injuries and exhaustion weighed heavily on his entire body, but he moved forward without hesitation.
"Stop "Freswerg"! But I don't hate that kind of thing."
"I'm fine if I can kill this guy here."
"Trivia Double Sword", Gou Kaisei took a double sword that carried a thunder of flames, and Yukinari Kenmiya lightly raised a long spear and attacked him.
He kicked the ground and responded.
He dodged the flames emitted by Kaisei and the thunder that got caught in them, and barely missed Yukinari's stab that had been charged.
"Ugh."
The spear strengthened by "Chiyou" surpassed even the strength of an iron-splitting ice sword. A large crack ran across the blade, which surely should have been stopped.
He couldn't kill the impact and his body trembled.
"Yuki! I will!"
"Wow! Kaisei!"
In Yukinari's hands, "Chiyou's" weapon quickly transformed into a dagger.
Kaisei, who was wielding two swords, and Yukinari, who was holding a dagger in both hands, attacked him from the front and behind while he was still in a bad posture.
They got over it.
He regenerated the ice sword, blocked the path with the ice block, and continued to avoid double-edged cooperation as he desperately ran.
Those guys were strong on their own, but they knew how to fight to get the most out of each other. Selecting each movement.
He could see the options narrowing and driving him.
"Don't hit! That's why they're Twin Wings!"
"I want you to die soon, but one! Hey, die, hey!"
He couldn't handle the full onslaught of double-edged blades.
Kaisei's flame, Yukinari's sword grazed him.
Still, as he barely held onto his sword with a shallow hand, he stayed away from the double blade.
Opportunity for a momentary counterattack.
You could also do it one by one by stopping one of the legs with the "Freswerg" ice.
"Ran! Avoid it!"
When Ikuya's warning came, the darkness of "Hecate" was cutting at his feet. The dark blade that crushed the wall of ice that immediately grew, sliced it sideways.
"Guh...!"
Ran rolled on the ground.
He was about to get caught. If he didn't do it correctly, he would die instantly.
Taking advantage of the rolling momentum, Kaisei's thunder flashed as he stood up and flew to the side.
If he had stayed down, he would have killed him for it.
His lungs ached, hot for oxygen. The physical form was exceeding the limit.
"Ran... No. Why did you come?"
Ikuya asked inside "Hecate".
"Did you really kill Jin? Did you leave Azusa-san? You're not that kind of person! You're a cool guy!"
Ikuya distorted his face, shedding tears.
"There were places where it wasn't."
Ikuya saw the essence of him and Jin, that's why he called himself leader.
Kaisei created a large whirlpool of fire and Yukinari once again had a long spear. The darkness of "Hecate" appeared here and there, surely tightening the siege.
"Come on, "Freswerg". I really like abandoned meat. But, you can see that you can't escape."
Kaisei, who sank his fangs into him, was a beast in front of his prey.
"Ran. I'll say it again. Run away! You can run away from this situation. Leave me alone! I've been dead since that night. Don't give up your life for me! It's an order from the leader!"
"I don't have to obey."
He held his breath as long as possible.
"Ikuya. You are no longer our leader. You are self-proclaimed in the first place."
There was a sound of humans falling.
Kaisei reflexively turned towards the sound and Yukinari shielded his back from him.
The darkness of "Hecate" was also reacting.
Those who fell were the members of "Trivia" who brought the live praise of "Hecate".
While he stayed away from the battlefield so as not to engage them in battle, he left himself to avoid escaping the living expenses.
"Well, you guys get out. Our employees are waiting. Trust me. Huh?"
He gave a friendly smile to the living expenses they had been facing suddenly.
However, they regained their composure due to their ugliness, and silently followed them and escaped outside.
The darkness of "Hecate" who tried to attack the keepers from behind was completely prevented by the iron fans of both hands.
"Oh...! 'Hecate'! But... it didn't work."
A man said that nonchalantly.
From his body, except for the battle in the special zone and the injuries he received since he got there, everything disappeared.
"I thought he was setting it up anyway. Haha! Maybe!"
"Not the case when you're laughing. Kaisei."
The double blade was surprised, but not upset. Well, he didn't expect it to backfire so much.
"Although you are young, you cannot break through your current wings. But it is brilliant. You have challenged yourself to create an opportunity to escape."
"The wound is also an illusion of "Morrigan". "Morrigan" himself secretly came with a ghost that blended into the surrounding landscape."
"Even in the "Morrigan" illusion, you would normally have noticed me or "Hecate". I pretended that "Freswerg" had split up and left on its own. Although I thought it was strange, we had to deal with it. Hey, you."
Kaisei was in a bad mood.
"Hey, if you make a little mistake, you're dead."
"Given the performance, it's a reasonable risk."
When they interacted in the special zone, they saw the double sword skill and "Hecate". The rest is if they could do it. So there was no problem.
"But that's it. You know that, right?! You can't escape "Hecate"!"
The darkness had moved. The darkness that protected Ikuya and the shadows that they and the buildings cast became weapons that flooded everywhere.
"I know."
Jin said that without dodging the approaching darkness.
The shadow blade that tried to catch his head disappeared.
All the darkness controlled by "Hecate" was pinched, scraped, and destroyed.
It was a golden arrow that fell like rain that did it.
No, it was a moonlight in the shape of an arrow.
"That girl!"
"Ah, "Artemis"?"
A torn roof with a double-edged blade. Azusa stood on the rooftop of the warehouse.
Azusa's hands, with her silver hair fluttering in the night breeze, had a golden bow.
That was the "God Bow Eokeaira" which is used only when "Artemis" wields her power to the fullest.
A fragment of lost ancient knowledge, festivals, and magical techniques, a weapon created exclusively for "Artemis" by bringing them together.
Azusa was thrown into the air.
The goddess with a golden bow descended.
Facing "Hecate" who was wary and temporarily stopped moving, and the double-edged sword that protected it, Ran and Jin stood side by side like Azusa's wings.
"Jin. It's later than planned. Don't interrupt Azusa-san's schedule."
"Sorry, Ran. The train was full."
"You came in my car. Even if the train is full, the arrival time will not change."
"I know... but I was able to prevent it well. I'm definitely like that."
"You know what I like? If you were better, I'll let you do it without telling me."
"I'll take a break even if I use paid leave."
"Ran, Jin. Why...?"
Beyond the darkness of "Hecate", Ikuya was stunned.
"I'm surprised, "Artemis". With the predecessor "Artemis" and the twin wings, I can't imitate this."
"I think I'm stupid. It's almost a new moon today. I'm going to bother setting it up at this age. It's not just standing, "Artemis"! My complexion is the worst!"
"I think my makeup was a bit light. Today was a meeting."
She couldn't hide the tiredness, but Azusa's voice and expression were great.
"I will answer. There are two reasons why I came here today, one is because this is my role in "Artemis"."
Azusa said that.
"We, "Artemis", protect those under the moon. There is no hesitation in saving Mikage Ikuya."
Yes, they did not have to be lost from the beginning.
++++++++++
Before heading there, Jin and Ran crossed swords.
The ice sword shook Jin's iron fan.
(No, I was made to fly.), Ran thought.
The iron fan was wet with blood from the wounds from "Hecate's" surprise attack.
Jin who dropped it had the usual irritating face with frustration.
He understood why that guy was poking around.
"You are not imitating wisely."
"There is such a development in animation. A development that moves with emotion rather than correction."
"Make a distinction between fact and fiction."
He ignores Jin who burst out and look back.
There was Azusa who should have been sleeping in the car. She was lying in the car, but her expression seemed amused.
"When did you start looking?"
"It's always good. It's not a bad feeling to be able to hear Ran's usually modest surprise, thanks to Jin's clever imitation."
Azusa loosened her cheeks.
He brushed Jin off, but she was still smiling.
"Because, Ran. If I don't goad him like that, he'll just try to make the right decision as a Twin Wing."
"Of course, because we are the Twin Wings of "Artemis". But..."
It was too late to sigh. The reason why Jin was unusually telling the truth was to bring out his true intentions.
"Azusa-san. I know I'm disqualified as Twin Wing. Still, I can't abandon Ikuya. He's alone. Let me go."
"I cannot allow."
Azusa refused.
"I can't win against "Hecate" and the double-edged sword, especially with one wing. You can't judge that."
There was no discussion.
The double-edged blade is stronger than information, and "Freswerg" didn't work against "Hecate".
"Don't get me wrong, Ran. I'm not saying don't move."
"Eh?"
Azusa knew what she meant Jin.
"I mean, "Artemis" has the same idea."
She said it as a matter of course.
"Jin, did you know I would make this decision?"
"We are twin wings, as the moon goddess wants."
Jin bowed reverently.
"Jin!"
He endured laughter with a bow. No, he couldn't take it at all.
"This was a preparation?"
"I have nothing else to say."
It was crazy, but at the same time no.
As he said before, his very idea would be to abandon Ikuya. He was so friendly that he was crazy, but in essence, he made judgments based on reason.
Even if he felt friendship towards Ikuya, if there is something that needs to be prioritized, he will cut it off.
However, he argued that he didn't admit it, that he really wanted to say it, and that Azusa would accept it.
It was really annoying to have a face that didn't look like anything.
"Ran, Jin. I regretted that night."
Azusa looked up at the sky where the thin moon had risen. Her gaze reflected Tamabbit Garden in flames.
"I also lost a lot. Which I can never get back."
Ran noticed what Azusa felt.
Azusa, who had just inherited "Artemis", fought "Trivia" four years ago.
The defeated "Trivia" lost its predecessor "Chiyou", and "Hecate" also temporarily disappeared from the main stage.
However, Azusa was unable to save Ikuya. The predecessor Twin Wings were also seriously injured in the battle, and "Freswerg" left a scar on his leg.
In this way, earlier than planned, Jin and Ran inherited the Twin Wings.
"So I won't cry this time. My heart feels the same as yours."
Azusa walked away from the car she was leaning on. Her pale, hot face was noble and icy.
"Now, "Hecate" will be stopped by "Artemis". The twin wings will defeat the double blade."
"Eh?!"
Ran and Jin's voices overlapped.
Under the thin moon, they began to move.
All of Jin's points were correct.
They were fighting the enemy that was a threat to the predecessor in a more disadvantaged situation than before. Battles to be avoided.
However, "Artemis" and his wings flew under the moon, to protect those under the moonlight.
++++++++++
The battle between "Artemis" and "Trivia", had been inherited with tattoos and spilled a lot of blood and deaths.
It was the dark weapon thrown by "Hecate" that cut the fire.
"Jin. It's work."
"Ran. I'll go home when I'm done."
Ran wielded an ice sword and Jin wielded a new iron fan to prevent the weapons.
Even if it was an attack from "Hecate", they could stop it from the front.
Ran and Jin, the twin wings came forward.
"Freswerg" froze the ground.
"The twin wings become a halberd that pierces in the name of the moon."
The phantom flame of "Morrigan" burned an iron fan.
"The twin wings are a shield that repels every attack on the moon."
The double-edged swords Gou Kaisei and Kenmiya Yukinari responded.
Kaisei distorted his face fiercely and carried two swords with lightning storms.
"We are the "Double Sword of Trivia"."
The next, Yukinari, had a sharper frown at the back of his narrow eyes than the long spear he held in his hand.
"The blade is a harbinger of the night bestowed upon peace."
The twin wings and the twin swords attacked each other.
The darkness of "Hecate" moved there again.
An all-out attack with the intention of destroying the work, which was different from the previous attack which was brilliant.
Shadow and darkness swelled as one entity, bursting and flooding.
They destroyed the defense of the tattoo with a single blow, and countless weapons aimed to kill.
The same amount of moonlight arrows intercepted it.
Even if he didn't turn around, the figure of Azusa holding a bow came to Ran's mind.
"Listen, "Hecate". The darkness of the night is drowned out by the light of the moon."
Azusa fired an even more powerful arrow of light.
"God Bow Eokeaira" helps the moonlight converge due to her ability and to ease the burden of the tattoo. And the ability to manipulate moonlight by creating an image of shooting a bow dramatically improves accuracy.
The arrows of light that are shot into the sky break into countless pieces and fall from the night sky.
This time "Hecate" turned to defense.
The dark weapon was intercepting all the moonlight arrows.
"But that's exactly what I was looking for. To stop "Hecate" here."
A frozen voice resounded.
"I command you, my wings. With your fierce wings, crush the brutal sword."
"Understood."
"I have it."
The Twin Wings pierced through the clash between the moon and the night.
"Kaisei! This time I'll do it with "Freswerg"!"
It was Yukinari Kenmiya who answered.
The long spear that was swinging made a loud and sharp wind noise.
"You don't listen after you move! Then I'll do it with "Morrigan"!"
"Agni" Gou Kaisei headed towards Jin with a thunder of flames.
"I will! Hey! Surprise me!"
Yukinari's intense punch was being cut off by a punch faster than he expected.
Sheer speed in a confined space, he was faster than anyone he has ever fought.
"You're going to avoid it!"
He retreated into a series of attacks.
He intended to dodge the quick piercing and launch a counterattack where he drew the spear, but the opponent fired a slash faster than that.
Yukinari's weapon transformed into a sword.
"It's a hassle."
If he hadn't moved, they would have cut him down.
Originally, the information about "Chiyou" was obtained by the predecessor. He also got information from Jin who had a battle before.
After dealing with him, he judged him to be quite a troublesome enemy.
In normal close combat, the means of dealing with the opponent's weapons are fixed. If it's a spear, jumps into the wide space or cuts the handle. If the knife is your opponent, kill it before it gets close.
However, "Chiyou's" weapon changed every time he attacked. Each time, the time and timing of the attack changed, and he was forced to take different measures.
"It is also "Freswerg" that changes."
He was settling in while he was leaving.
The ice that spread from his feet reached Yukinari. The ice wrapped around his legs and he stopped moving.
Yukinari jumped before that.
The ice of "Freswerg" sliced through the sky on the move he read ahead.
"I didn't win, that's right!"
"Chiyou's" weapon had changed to a double knife.
In an instant he was jumping into his pocket. Inside the ice sword.
The time that should have been advantageous until then became a disadvantageous state.
"Tsk...!"
Although he prevented it, he was unable to repel all the blades that cut him over and over again as he turned slightly.
As he took advantage, he backed up even more and swung the sword.
The blade was cut from the middle.
He was holding a wakizashi.
"That's a Monster Strike! "Freswerg" is weak!"
He was convinced that this was a strong enemy comparable to veteran Gou Kaisei.
Yukinari Kenmiya's strength was strengthened by "Chiyou", and it was not the same as the weapon that could freely change its appearance. He manipulated shape-shifting weapons one after another with tremendous precision and speed, unleashed continuous attacks without stopping and never ran out of breath. That guy himself was tremendously strong.
Definitely a man with a natural talent. Furthermore, he could see from the ever-changing swords that a considerable amount of sharpening had taken place. At least he couldn't beat that guy with either sword or martial arts.
"Are you going to finish your work?"
"Then cut more!"
The double edged sword, Yukinari Kenmiya, intervened again.
++++++++++
There was no limit to the size of the flame that "Morrigan" created, because it was an illusion.
When "Agni" Gou Kaisei shot out a swirling flame, Jin shot out a large piece of flame with "Morrigan" which swallowed it.
The flame "Morrigan" penetrated "Agni's" mass of flames and hit Kaisei directly.
The difficult thing there was if the flame seemed real.
It seemed like he could do anything with illusions, but it depended on whether Jin, the user, could create a realistic scene.
For example, if the current flame was made by a human with no expressive power, it should look like a red lightning bolt. If you don't accurately imagine the movement and texture when the flames collide, the psychological influence on the target will diminish and you won't be able to make the illusion look genuine.
Would you feel like making a CG video?
Anyway, "Morrigan's" phantom flame swallowed "Agni's" flame and pierced it, directly hitting Kaisei.
"Guh!"
The voice rose.
Even if it is an illusion, if the brain decides that it is real, it will feel the same pain and heat as if it were on fire. In the worst case, consciousness can affect the body and die.
Well, he didn't really counter "Agni's" flames because it was an illusion.
He avoid the vortices of the flames with minimal movement.
After that, it actually hit Kaisei, who had slowed down due to the phantom flames.
"What?!"
It suddenly stopped when he was about to leave.
The lightning from his limbs flared so badly it burned his eyes.
Fortunately his feet stopped him.
"Oooh!"
The beast's cry went up, and Kaisei rushed forward.
The phantom flame of "Morrigan" clung, but the movement was not slow.
"It's a lie. It should be hot and painful."
A flame of that scale would actually die, and even a ghost could blow away consciousness with a single blow.
"Oh! It's hot! That's why I'm patient!"
"Well, it's weird in theory!"
"I've fought your predecessor. I've eaten flames many times. It's a ghost, but I know it works well with real flames!"
"That kind of things."
Kaisei was holding his breath until a while ago. That was to avoid the image of hot air entering the lungs and oxygen deficiency.
And the key points were defense. Because he did not have the image of being mortally wounded.
If he dealt with it the same way as a real llama, even if the brain was ghost bought, there was little damage to the body.
In short, realistic measures against illusions are valid, and since they are illusions, if they disappear, there will be no real scratches left.
"You know how to prevent illusions. Forgive me."
"I'm not old enough for that! I envy you!"
As he knew this, he took notice of the annoyance of the Scard, who had survived most of the battles in "Artemis" and "Trivia".
The heyday of the combat staff should have passed, but getting older was quite an advantage as experience.
Jin relied too much on ghost flames.
There was a reason he liked to use flames. It wasn't just because the predecessor used them.
The more firmly the user's image is built, the greater the influence the illusion will have on the other party.
For Jin... perhaps Ran as well, the heat and horror of the flames he experienced in the attack on Tamabbit Garden four years ago was profoundly memorable.
The illusion of him made the flame stronger.
Also, the creatures have an instinctive fear of being caught in flames. In addition, it can be used in various ways, so it can be applied.
But it didn't apply to Gou Kaisei.
In that case, even the illusion of a blade that makes you feel like your arms and legs have been amputated should be polished.
It was too late to repent.
Even if he were to fire a phantom flame with a check, Kaisei will dodge, avoid, withstand, and close the distance.
He couldn't escape due to the flames and lightning from him.
Kaisei was slim and the two swords gleamed.
The sword that was drawn with a strong arm could not be avoided even by the defense of the tattoo, and stabbed deep into his body.
He should have seen it.
He was behind Kaisei.
Of course, flames weren't the only way to use illusions. What Kaisei had cut was the illusion of him that made him feel even the substance.
He hit the open iron fan aiming at the back and neck full of holes.
"Behind there!"
He was amazing.
Kaisei fully read that move and turned his entire body.
With a small twisting motion that he was able to make with the two swords, he fired a heavy slash.
The iron fan was ripped straight from the front, and Kaisei's sword pierced through it.
"That's also an illusion..."
The real Jin was by Kaisei's side.
But he couldn't make a surprise attack. After cutting through the two illusions, Kaisei gave chase.
Unlike Yukinari, who approached with an amazing reaction, Kaisei predicted his move. The experience of fighting for decades was beyond illusion.
"Illusion stopped!"
"That's right. It could be that kind of illusion."
He was trapped.
The two swords were protected with iron, but Kaisei, who possessed a muscular bone, had better strength on the ground no matter what.
The attack was heavy.
"It's hard to do."
"I'm having fun, "Morrigan"."
"It's hard to do that kind of thing, isn't it?"
He was the worst opponent including his personality.
A user of powerful and easy-to-understand offensive abilities, such as fire and thunder, and his physical ability was higher than that.
Killing for the first time by "Morrigan's" best illusion didn't work, and he knew the countermeasures because he had fought with his predecessor.
A difficult enemy who had ancient spear skills and dynamic power, and his personality was also problematic.
There was no advantage.
The fire that was released blocked the escape. Kaisei rushed into it.
He couldn't dodge it and was torn apart by two swords, and a hot and intense pain ran.
++++++++++
Jin had been renewed.
That was not an illusion. His blood spilled in the moonlight.
"Oh!"
"Full of loopholes, thanks!"
His body trembled with dull pain and shock.
"Chiyou" barely avoided the blow towards Yukinari Kenmiya.
Even in a fighting battle, it was awkward to move like a master. If he was careful with the weapons, the fists and legs would attack him.
He used the recoil received to distance himself and fire the ice blade like a projectile.
"What is this? You can't win!"
Attacks that should have been emptied were also avoided with minimal movement.
"It's weak. It's really weak!"
Yukinari laughed happily.
His comment seemed flippant, but his nature was different. The intensity of the attack was not due to his skill alone.
Absolute hatred was burning behind his narrowed eyes. That guy put some killing intent into the human sword.
"Are you still "Freswerg"? Huh?"
"Huh? Not really. They didn't teach you to speak properly."
"He taught me how to fight, how to make money, how to play games, and good food. The first one who taught me everything was that guy! Four years ago, the previous "Chiyou" who was killed by your predecessor!"
The killing intent increased. Ran understood the true nature of piercing hatred.
"Yes. Is there any grudge against "Freswerg"?"
"He Is in your predecessor! Kill you, kill "Artemis" and finally the predecessor without tattoos! I've been waiting for you, today is the day I will kill "Freswerg"!"
It was an attack.
He barely avoided it, but the wounds on his hands increased. If he got a little bigger scratch or if he used it as it was, he would scrape.
"You're weak! You're contained right now! You can see it! I tried to defend myself, but I crushed him first! Even if you try to buy time with ice, you won't make it! Even if you hit him head-on, he'll be stronger! Be strong, quick! There's no place where you can win! It's boring! I'm yawning!"
It was exactly as that guy said. He couldn't understand any of the attacks he launched, he couldn't reach him.
He felt the hot air from the side where Jin was fighting Kaisei.
He couldn't afford to take his eyes off Yukinari, but his battle was reflected in the corner of his field of vision.
Two swords gleamed in the burning flame and Jin collapsed in front of him.
Burning flames and lightning flashed around him stopping Jin's movement, and Kaisei defeated him with his two swords from the front.
He looked like he was trying to resist by casting a ghost flame and making his own ghost flame out of him, but it was no use.
"'Morrigan' died first! Because you couldn't go help! I'm sorry!"
A thrust of tremendous speed was continuously delivered from the long spear.
Superficially squeezing in several places.
"Die, lament your weaknesses and die without your hands and feet! Die! "Freswerg"!"
It ends when he stops moving, in the next moment.
"There's a word for my attack hole. Do you understand?"
Yukinari, who landed the last blow, had his eyes wide open.
An ice sword that passed through the perforation sliced through his flank.
"Why...? You can't avoid your own attack. You should have seen the current move!"
"I got cut because I didn't realize the reason. You were late. Only the current shot was late. I was too aggressive and exhausted, and I rushed to make a big swing."
The blow of the ice sword that tore through the flank froze Yukinari's arm at the same time.
He kept the ice block waiting on the surface of the ice sword to fire the ice at this sword as he got past the attack. Ever since he started getting pushed
"You are certainly stronger than me, but you can't maintain that performance. Repeated attacks can wear down your body and mind and make you tired. If you have confidence in victory, you will be proud. As a result, humans make mistakes. So I kept receiving it until this moment."
There was no doubt that Yukinari Kenmiya was stronger than Ran Washimine.
He couldn't beat him and he didn't feel like he would beat him, but he had the power not to be beaten.
His power was the technique inherited from his predecessor "Freswerg", and the technique he was beaten by those ossans and trained with Jin and Ikuya.
With that guy, he could still believe that there was a time when he got upset and "Freswerg" got to "Shu".
"Freeze it 'Chiyou'! Hit the wings and "Freswerg"!"
"Damn!"
Yukinari struggled, but it was too late. The ice that had reached the arm from the flank completely froze the arm with the power of "Freswerg". The ice he threw on the ground stuck to his feet.
He hit Yukinari, who couldn't even wield "Shu's" weapon, and let his consciousness fly.
With half of him frozen, Yukinari crashed to the ground and stopped moving.
"A hole in an ant, a tear in the world. Is it?"
What he heard was Jin's voice, which should have been cut off and collapsed.
He look over there without looking at Yukinari.
Jin's figure that was cut by Kaisei disappeared.
From what he could tell, Kaisei had slashed Jin eight times so far.
He was cut by being trapped in a fire prison released by Kaisei, he read the assault from the blind spot and was cut.
However, it was all an illusion.
"Hey... I can't do any more than I do!"
Kaisei groaned.
Behind Kaisei appeared the real Jin, after the illusion of eight people. This time Jin had Kaisei's void on the wall.
The reason why Kaisei, who had identified all of "Morrigan's" illusions, didn't notice that surprise attack was simple.
The real Jin appeared in the flames that Kaisei had released and still remained. So Kaisei was working under the premise that Jin wasn't there.
"My flame is not an illusion. You received it correctly!"
"Immediately after being cut once! Because I only had this hand."
As Scard, he could prevent some flames with the tattoo's power, but the flames created by "Agni" lowered the tattoo's defenses. Furthermore, even a Scard would suffocate due to lack of oxygen from combustion, and gas poisoning could not be prevented.
Jin's clothes were burned and he himself was burned.
The reason he didn't burn to death is probably because he used the power of "Morrigan" to defend himself, avoided the flames, covered himself with his jacket and held his breath.
It was a matter of course, but he was relieved to be done dealing with such a situation. He would have exceeded the limit a few seconds later.
Jin, who clenched his teeth, but raised the edge of his lips, won the bet by going to the limit. He must have decided on that measure when he realized that his illusion was broken and he couldn't beat Kaisei even in head-on combat.
The lucky beating with a closed iron fan was decided on Kaisei's neck.
His strong body swayed.
"Haha! He's crazier than he looks!"
"I also use it to cheat. That's "Morrigan"."
Jin rarely smiled from the heart.
"In other words, I also tried to put up with it."
"Not bad, I thought they were alive under the protection of the goddess. But, hey!"
As he staggered, Kaisei turned around and tried to defend himself.
"Can I lose? I've been making sacrifices until now!"
"Your weakness is that you can only choose to make one sacrifice."
Jin made a ruthless second and third shot.
Kaisei stood still after being hit repeatedly, but he fell onto his back after being hit by a series of targeted attacks that didn't straddle.
"Maybe."
Kaisei's light voice was heard.
The two swords he was holding finally rolled away. His big body didn't move.
Watching intently, Jin finally breathed. Sweat ran down his cheeks.
"A hole in an ant is a Chinese word."
He told him as he was searching for oxygen.
"Large embankments can also collapse through anthill holes. In turn, a little carelessness can lead to unexpected situations. Did you hear?"
"It's a lesson that can be used in company management. Even in battle."
The double edged swords, Yukinari Kenmiya and Kaisei Gou, were lying down. There was no sign of getting up.
At the cost of defeating Ran and Jin, they were left exhausted and outright defeated.
But the work they should be doing hadn't even started.
They watched the back of the warehouse as they adjusted their breathing.
Ikuya was there.
Shadows reared their heads one after another around him, creating new weapons.
The arrow of moonlight emitted by Azusa shot through them, but even if they were destroyed, a new spring would sprout.
The darkness did not disappear under light or in shadow.
As they fought against the double-edged swords, Azusa kept shooting arrows without resting her attacking hands.
"Well done. My wings."
Azusa laughed softly even though she was already exhausted from the continuous use of "Artemis" in a phase of the moon when she couldn't use her power properly.
With a strong determination in her burning eyes, she looked at Ikuya without wiping her sweat.
"Now only 'Hecate' remains."
"Yes.", they both said.
Ran and Jin were ready for Ikuya.
"It was more than I imagined. Ran, Jin."
Beyond the darkness of "Hecate", Ikuya said quietly.
"When I woke up, I was a little jealous when I saw that they had become Twin Wings. If my destiny was different, I might have been there."
Ikuya shook his head.
"But I can't do it now. I understand that you, who have fought for four years, are definitely "Twin Wings of Artemis"."
"Oh, it's true."
"The past doesn't change, it won't change now. The past can't be changed."
"So is."
Ikuya dominated beyond the darkness of "Hecate".
He had a mixed expression of relief, loneliness, and determination.
"Finally...I'm glad I was able to talk to you. I was able to meet Azusa-san."
Ikuya reached out his arms to spread out his chest.
"Ran, Jin. Kill me. It's the leader's last order."
It was his voice with a certain will.
"What we have to do now is stop "Hecate" here. It's hard to tell who's starving and recognizes you as an enemy. I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do about it."
So it was.
Azusa was suppressing the darkness of "Hecate". If she stopped doing that, "Hecate" should try to kill them and then eat everything.
"That's still a tattoo. There's a way to stop it."
"I'm not talking about Ikuya's loss of consciousness."
Jin said without feeling it.
"Oh, if that's a safe way to deal with it, "Trivia "should keep him asleep, except when they use "Hecate"."
However, in reality, if "Hecate" is hungry, it is necessary to dedicate oneself to living. "Trivia" could not escape the spell.
"Even if I lose consciousness, the "Hecate" current will continue to forcefully move. This guy's thirst conveys the anger of having his living expenses stolen in front of him."
"Unlike the previous battle, he seems to have offended "Hecate"."
Under Azusa's control, Ikuya looked at the tattoo of a sheep with hollow eyes on his chest.
"But if the Scard dies, the tattoo will stop. It can't use its power without the host. If I die, "Hecate" won't disappear and move to someone, but at least they can buy time until it starts moving again."
It happened when the previous Scar of "Artemis", died without having inherited it.
"You guys should be able to do anything after that."
"That's why...", Ikuya said, killing the tremors.
"Kill me."
"That's right. Ikuya is right."
As Jin said, it is the hand that could minimize the damage.
Now that the double-edged swords had fallen, they could easily kill Ikuya while Azusa stopped "Hecate".
They would then chase down a new host. There would be a conflict with "Trivia", but it was not impossible to take the initiative using the information department.
Once they secured "Hecate", they would be able to use multiple hands.
For example, the host Scard is put to sleep and, when he wakes up, they kills him. They could continue to do so and prevent the full awakening of "Hecate". "Hecate", who would not be able to feed if they continued on and on, might eventually disappear.
"Trivia" would be weakened after losing "Hecate" and should be able to be destroyed this time.
The most reliable and least expensive medium imaginable.
"You're right...but the way "Artemis" acts is different."
They looked at Ikuya again.
"Uh..."
Azusa walked out in front of the upset Ikuya.
Arrows in the moonlight scattered the darkness.
"Continuing the fight against "Hecate", my inherited "Artemis" will guide you. "Artemis" can put to sleep a hungry "Hecate" who has just woken up and has not taken any lives."
Azusa wasn't talking about normal tattoo skills.
By hitting the power of the god that has the tattoo, she suppresses the power of the other party's tattoo. It is nothing more than a scrape of existence.
It is similar to the act of a double-edged sword striking him with its released power to encourage the awakening of "Hecate", but it is more life-threatening.
Her own tattoo may disappear. The humans cannot resist the violently colliding forces of the gods, and Scard himself may die first. While requiring extreme concentration, the Scard that does so exposes an unprotected figure in front of the enemy.
It is a contraindicated job that Ran and Jin were also taught as a tradition from their predecessors.
Naturally, that places an even greater burden on Azusa. Originally, "Artemis", who ends the life of the Scard, seeks more compensation than ever.
Azusa, who shouldn't be able to enter the battlefield, was in a state where she might fall over at any moment.
In the worst case scenario, Azusa would die from that act.
"Artemis" protects those who are under the moon. We won't let anyone get out of this hand."
Azusa left the God Bow as she walked towards "Hecate" and Ikuya.
"I entrust everything to you, my wings."
The moment "Artemis" stopped attacking, "Hecate" turned into an attack.
Countless darknesses that had been intercepted up to that moment, attacked Azusa.
"Break it, "Freswerg"!"
"Cheat, "Morrigan"!"
The ice wall of "Freswerg" blocked the darkness.
If it was knocked down, it would create a wall of ice as long as it was crushed.
However, a huge dark weapon pierced through the ice and freely ass to attack.
Jin stopped him with an iron fan and knocked him down.
Azusa and the illusions created by Jin also attracted darkness.
Both Jin and Ran had exceeded their physical strength in the battle in the special zone and the battle with the dual swords. Their bodies felt heavy to the tips of their fingers. Every time they used the power of tattoos, their consciences seemed to fly.
"Ran. I'm sleep deprived."
"Shut up, Jin. Unlike you, I handle myself."
However, every time Ran saw Azusa's back, who trusted them and didn't look at the darkness of "Hecate", and every time he saw Jin's throbbing face that hadn't fallen yet, his body jostled. .
"Freswerg" and "Morrigan" shone brightly.
The Twin Wings stood side by side in the dim moonlight.
To defeat the hideous and fateful dragon of "Hecate" held by "Trivia".
"The Twin Wings become a halberd that pierces in the name of the moon."
They would penetrate the dark weapon while destroying a huge icicle.
"The Twin Wings are a shield that repels every attack on the moon."
The flame-clad iron fan half destroyed and repelled the dark weapon.
"We, the Twin Wings, swear it. Even if the wings are scattered and broken."
"Artemis" came to "Hecate".

satoshi’s Bonds, Connections, & Bro - dyns with the gods he’s met :
houou. this is the god with which satoshi has the strongest yet strangest bond with, it being the first god he saw & it continuing to reappear in his life throughout his journey, such as before his setting off to hoenn & when he decided to start from zero & received a rainbow feather & eventually ended up battling it. he primarily thinks of it as kind of a background presence that he trusts to keep watch of him, even if it’s nowhere near where he actually is, in spirit ( except it really is always keeping watch of him, especially when he’s in mortal danger, as it did with reviving him through the pokemon’s tears after he got caught in the literal crossfire of mew & mewtwo’s battle ) .
mewtwo. satoshi just wants it to be happy & be able to trust people. he does feel discomforted by the fact that he’ll never truly remember what happened the first time they met, only able to rely on mewtwo’s personal testimony, but has absolutely no hard feelings for it trying to kill him, most gods have. satoshi is never letting gou talk about mewtwo to the rest of the sakuragi institute & he will fight the fellow with his bare hands before allowing gou to catch it.
lugia. they saved the world together & had half a battle the next time they ran into each other, lugia gave him a ride along with gou. there is a lingering connection from the first time they met, & lugia is the god whose aura satoshi connects with the easiest.
celebi. satoshi considers the first one he met to be a friend to this day, he & yukinari bonded with it & he grew incredibly attached & was absolutely heartbroken when he thought it would die, seeing it fly off to join the other celebi feeling bittersweet. he didn’t get to develop much of a friendship with the second celebi he met, but any time he remembers it hopes it’s doing okay, wondering if it’s friends with the aforementioned celebi.
latias. he really bonded with it in the short time they spent together & considers it a friend to this day, even if they’ve not met in some time.
latios. while he didn’t share the same closeness with latios, he was still devastated when, as far as anyone present was aware, it died saving alto mare, so you can imagine the shock when he saw tobias at the sinnoh league with a latios on his team. priorities shifted thinking too hard about it to the very bottom of the list & he only got to thinking about it one night about a month later, after which he contacted tobias as soon as he could to have an exchange that essentially went “was that latios with you” “yeah” “i thought it was dead” “long story, it’s better now” “cool” .
mew. satoshi thinks of it kind of like you’d think of an overly curious kitten that you occasionally see running around your neighborhood stealing trinkets & snacks & sniffing like, everything. he thinks it’s sweet & fun & has literally risked his life for it & wouldn’t hesitate to do it again, but he does feel like it’s maybe a little naive & doesn’t realize some things have serious consequences, which gives him slight worry that, if it weren’t as powerful as it is, it could end up in some serious trouble. because of this he has mixed feelings about gou wanting to catch mew, not only because he knows it & has gone through a lot with it, but also because he believes it to be susceptible to getting into the wrong hands ( he doesn’t believe gou’s hands are the wrong ones, necessarily, but he does keep a wary eye on the mew project ) . he does also have a sliver of a similar bond to houou with mew due to one of satoshi’s ancestors hundreds years past receiving blessings from it that manifested in wave guidance ; the blessing has been passed down the bloodline & from hanako’s side of the family to satoshi.
darkrai. satoshi thinks very highly of it in terms of strong pokemon, which he always vibes with, & is appreciative of its efforts in defending alamos town. he does believe it’s misunderstood, & he tries to negate any of the unwarranted mistrust directed at it when issues arise with it as a suspect.
agnome. the two share a connection through their wills as much as aura. though they separated after the galaxy gang was first supposedly disbanded, that connection has still remained in the background, not enough to tie them together as before, not unless the god itself reaches out to him, but enough that if satoshi thinks about it enough, he can still feel that connection.
dialga & palkia. satoshi wanting pokemon to stop having destructive fights that endanger civilians that didn’t ask to be a part of their crossfire aside … he wholeheartedly believes they deserve better & was very pissed on their behalves when the galaxy gang wanted to abuse their power, & he is thankful to them for their assistance when arceus came to michina, & even more so to dialga for sending him & the others back in time to help fix things.
giratina. he sympathizes with it &, despite how things started out with it, really does hope it can be at peace in its dimension. certainly, if he ever ends up there again, satoshi knows where to look for help.
shaymin. despite their highly rocky start, satoshi grew really attached to shaymin & it broke his heart to have to part with it so soon after he finally started liking it. he respects the rascal & hopes it’s doing okay with the other shaymin.
arceus. as with giratina, sympathizes with it, & hopes that the past can be forgiven for the sake of the future & that it doesn’t let human error ever create such a rift between it & humanity again. he hopes that arceus coming down to help him & his friends alongside champion shirona stop the remnants of the galaxy gang is a sign that it’s grown past some of what’s happened, &, if ever there were any debts between them in satoshi’s saving arceus’ life, then surely that evened out the score.
victini. satoshi became incredibly attached to it, especially with their resonating auras allowing satoshi to see into victini’s past & feel its emotions, & he was devastated & heartbroken when he thought he’d failed to save it despite promising to take victini to see the sea one day. he was overjoyed to see it alive & well &, even if their parting was bittersweet for satoshi, he hopes it’s doing okay & has a reminder stashed away somewhere to visit it if he ever passes through that part of unova again.
zekrom. he’s zekrom approved, sharing a similar connection as with agnome, only through conceptual Ideals. the connection never truly passed into a tangible area, but satoshi felt it nonetheless when he first arrived in unova, believing that, if they were to properly meet, he’d feel that connection again, much stronger.
keldeo. he shares a bond with it, growing attached & protective of it very early on, feeling a duty to help it face its fears in order to save the other sacred swordsmen, that protectiveness winning out against said duty when he saw just how terrified keldeo was. he feels nothing less than pride in its overcoming its fear & becoming proper sacred swordsman material.
meloetta. satoshi grew very attached in the time they spent together, admiring both its voice & its strength, feeling anger not unlike one he would with his own pokemon at it being captured to abuse its power.
hoopa. he cares for that rascal so, so much, & he wholeheartedly wants nothing but the best for it & hopes it never has to go through something like what had been happening for like a century ever again. sometimes he swears he hears a portal open just around the corner, a small impish giggle echoing in the empty space when satoshi goes to look.
volcanion. he still has some strong opinions about it, but it grew on him, & the knowledge that volcanion truly cares about the other pokemon & wants to protect those that can’t defend themselves just as much as he does made putting up with it much easier. he hopes that it continues to be able to protect the pokemon in that valley & to keep an eye out for magearna.
zygarde. while satoshi didn’t get quite as close to squishy as eureka, he still considers it to have been as much part of the squad as any of the other pokemon, holding it high regard as zygarde, & he hopes that gekkouga is keeping an eye on it.
kapu-kokeko. he has a bond with it, the combative god having taken interest in him & giving him a z-ring & a temporary electric z to go with it & luring him into the woods to battle, fueling a rivalry that would culminate in the exhibition match of the manalo conference. it kept a curious eye on him &, in a time of urgency for another universe, sent him over to assist, be it to test him or trusting already that satoshi would be able to handle it. the majority of satoshi’s time training in the alola region was building up to getting to battle kapu-kokeko on equal footing, something he believes to have succeeded at. satoshi still wants to battle it again some day.
kapu-tetefu, kapu-bulul, kapu-rehire. though he didn’t make as strong a connection with the other island guardians, he still feels thankful for all that they have done in helping him progress in both training & in times of need.
solgaleo. needless to say, satoshi very much thinks of it as one of his own, like the pokemon that he watched hatch & took care of as they treated him like a parent. even after evolving into a solgaleo, satoshi can’t help but think of it as that tiny hoshigumo-chan that was entrusted to him by the other solgaleo & the lunala so seemingly long ago. it will always be a part of his family.

volcanion. he still has some strong opinions about it, but it grew on him, & the knowledge that volcanion truly cares about the other pokemon & wants to protect those that can’t defend themselves just as much as he does made putting up with it much easier. he hopes that it continues to be able to protect the pokemon in that valley & to keep an eye out for magearna.
zygarde. while satoshi didn’t get quite as close to squishy as eureka, he still considers it to have been as much part of the squad as any of the other pokemon, holding it high regard as zygarde, & he hopes that gekkouga is keeping an eye on it.
kapu-kokeko. he has a bond with it, the combative god having taken interest in him & giving him a z-ring & a temporary electric z to go with it & luring him into the woods to battle, fueling a rivalry that would culminate in the exhibition match of the manalo conference. it kept a curious eye on him &, in a time of urgency for another universe, sent him over to assist, be it to test him or trusting already that satoshi would be able to handle it. the majority of satoshi’s time training in the alola region was building up to getting to battle kapu-kokeko on equal footing, something he believes to have succeeded at. satoshi still wants to battle it again some day.
kapu-tetefu, kapu-bulul, kapu-rehire. though he didn’t make as strong a connection with the other island guardians, he still feels thankful for all that they have done in helping him progress in both training & in times of need.
solgaleo. needless to say, satoshi very much thinks of it as one of his own, like the pokemon that he watched hatch & took care of as they treated him like a parent. even after evolving into a solgaleo, satoshi can’t help but think of it as that tiny hoshigumo-chan that was entrusted to him by the other solgaleo & the lunala so seemingly long ago. it will always be a part of his family.
