Threw a ball of paper over Kaito's head, close enough to touch his hair, but not hit him. "Why would Ryoko-sama want to get back with you?" He reproaches, tossing him another ball of paper. He was forbidden to shoot without an order, due to his excellent aim, but at least, he could bother in another way "What's so special about you?" // Kurayami to Kaito, don't mind him, he's a bit jealous lmao

“Get back with me?” Kaito repeated, casually picking up and throwing the balls of paper near where Shanks was napping. “Then can I assume you know what happened to us in Wano?”

Kaito felt at the time in order to protect Ryoko and his crew, sacrificed himself to side with Orochi after finding out that he was related by Kurozumi blood. The war on Wano against Kaido was rough, and it took him at least a year for him to regain Ryoko’s trust for leaving like he did. If anything, they could understand each other even more after Ryoko left them during that Buster Call, at least she did it better than he did.

But it did not take away the hurt, in a way Ryoko had him but in a different way, having found a crew of her own, it felt like he was being replaced despite knowing Ryoko would never do that to him. He was guarded like she was, Ryoko and by her extension her crew, had to earn his and the crew’s trust just like he had to, it would be hypocritical to make an exception for her.

Kaito was so focused on that, it soon dawned to him he had to earn Ryoko’s trust as well. So all he could do was be honest and firm in his answer. “Me? I’m nothing special. I am the Jack of All Trades of my crew, there is no better fitting title for someone like myself, someone who does not specialise in anything.”

“But we are special to each other, Ryoko and I, we have been through so much. You have my acknowledgement as part of Ryoko’s new found family, as long as you also acknowledge that she has history with the crew before yours, especially myself. I had Ryoko’s back and she had mine, I cannot count the times we saved each other, when we were at our best and worst.”

Huh, it almost felt like a theory session, being able to speak his mind like that, his sigh after was mixed with relief. “Any more questions?” Kaito asked Kurayami, ready for more with his now sharper gaze.

Warriors Orochi: The Recollective Redux Part 3.2: Wei Side Stages

Again, some conditions have been made easier. Obtaining most characters in this hypothetical project game should be 100% guaranteed.

Chapter 2-X: Invasion of Nanzhong 南中侵攻戦 (uses DW5 map)

Orochi Army and Zhang He Troop vs. Resistance Army Allied characters: Cao Pi, Yoshitsugu Ōtani Third-party characters: Zhang He Enemy characters: Zhao Yun, Yukimura Sanada, Nobuyuki Sanada, Zhang Bao, Ginchiyo Tachibana, Meng Huo, Zhurong

Unlockable character: Zhang He

Clear Chapter 1 to unlock this stage.

Many officers of Wei were not happy to be used as Orochi’s puppets under the name of an alliance. Zhang He began to feel discontented with the situation. He accompanied Cao Pi to Nanzhong to supress the Resistance. The battle progressed smoothly until Zhang He stopped fighting, forcing Cao Pi to convince him to fight.

Xu Shu is replaced by another generic officer for this battle. Nobuyuki Sanada and Ginchiyo Tachibana also appear in this battle.

To unlock Zhang He, defeat the two enemy officers attacking him and have Cao Pi speak with him, whether as a player or an ally. Once he is convinced, Zhang He needs to stay alive to the end of the battle, which is when all enemies are defeated.

Chapter 3-X: Conquest of Ji Province 冀州討伐戦 (uses DW5 Yellow Turban map)

Orochi Army and Goemon Ishikawa vs. Resistance Army Allied characters: Dong Zhuo, Zhang Liao, Li Dian Third-party characters: Goemon Ishikawa Enemy characters: Nene, Kiyomasa Katō, Masanori Fukushima, Kotarō Fūma, Hanzō Hattori, Kunoichi

Unlockable character: Nene

Clear Chapter 2 to unlock this stage.

Nene’s ninja troop managed to maintain its independence from Orochi. Dong Zhuo was sent to elimate them.

Li Dian replaces Yue Jin in this battle.

When Kiyomasa Katō and Masanori Fukushima are defeated, they will retreat.

To unlock Nene, defeat the second clone within 5 minutes (originally 4) of defeating the first one.

Chapter 4-X: Battle of Saika 雑賀の戦い

Orochi Army vs. Resistance Army Allied characters: Zhang Liao, Xu Huang, Xu Zhu, Yue Jin Enemy characters: Kenshin Uesugi, Shingen Takeda, Kanetsugu Naoe, Kagekatsu Uesugi Yoshimoto Imagawa

Unlockable character: Yoshimoto Imagawa

Clear Chapter 4 to unlock this stage.

Upon hearing that Resistance units under Shingen Takeda and Kenshin Uesugi were using a base in the Saika Territory, Cao Pi ordered Zhang Liao to investigate. When this was confirmed, immediate suppression was necessary.

Yue Jin replaces Man Chong in this battle. Kagekatsu Uesugi will appear in place of Kageie Kakizaki when the Takeda and Uesugi forces arrive.

To unlock Yoshimoto, prevent the enemy engineers from infiltrating the central garrison and launching a fire attack. There will be a total of 8 coming in two waves, at first one at a time then two at a time. They will all appear in an anti-clockwise direction on the map.

Chapter 5-X: Battle of the Five Gates 五関突破戦

Coalition Army and Diaochan Troop vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Mitsunari Ishida, Zhang Liao Third-party characters: Diaochan Enemy characters: Dong Zhuo, Lu Bu, Chen Gong, Lu Lingqi

Unlockable character: Diaochan

Clear Chapter 5 to unlock this stage.

Diaochan joined the Orochi Army with Lu Bu when he was defeated in the initial battle at Xiapi. However, she was unhappy and disillusioned with the path that Lu Bu was taking and chose to defect, hoping to make Lu Bu see his own folly. However, an incensed Dong Zhuo immediately began pursuit before they spot Mitsunari Ishida, who had decided to help Diaochan.

Lu Lingqi will be past the first gate while Chen Gong will advance with Dong Zhuo.

To unlock Diaochan, make sure she stays alive during the battle and clear the battle within 10 minutes (originally 6:40 min).

Chapter 6-X: Battle of Liang Province 涼州の戦い

Coalition Army and Zhenji Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Cao Pi, Xiahou Yuan, Xiahou Ba, Guo Huai Third-party characters: Zhenji Enemy characters: Dong Zhuo, Kotarō Fūma, Cao Pi (fake)

Unlockable character: Zhenji

Clear Chapter 6 to unlock this stage.

When Cao Pi declared Wei’s independence from Orochi, Zhenji followed suit and led an army to Liang Province. Orochi dispatched Dong Zhuo to eradicate this resistance and so, the three clash at Liang Province…

Xiahou Ba and Guo Huai respectively replace Cao Xiu and Hideie Ukita in this battle.

To unlock Zhenji, defeat all sorcerers and the imposter Cao Pi within 10 minutes of the start of battle. Make sure you get all these goals before defeating Dong Zhuo. Help Zhenji clear the enemies around her if you can.

Chapter 7-X: Struggle for Nanzhong 南中争覇戦 (uses DW5 map)

Coalition Army and Honda Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Nagamasa Azai, Gan Ning, Oichi Third-party characters: Tadakatsu Honda Enemy characters: Masamune Date, Kojūrō Katakura, Lu Bu, Dong Zhuo

Unlockable character: Tadakatsu Honda (2/4)

Cao Pi ordered Nagamasa Azai to lay siege to the key Orochi outpost of Nanzhong in the south, but he saw a mysterious army in battle with Orochi…

When Tadakatsu roars on the battlefield, Chen Lan and Lei Bo (newly added) are the officers who defect.

This is one of four battles required to unlock Tadakatsu Honda. To impress him, rescue his two sons, Tadamasa and Tadatomo, and defeat Lu Bu by yourself (no kill-stealing!).

Chapter 8-X: Battle of New Hefei Castle 合肥新城の戦い

Coalition Army and Sun Ce Army vs. Orochi Army Allied characters: Cao Cao, Yue Jin, Yoshitsugu Ōtani Third-party characters: Sun Ce Enemy characters: Orochi, Da Ji, Lu Bu, Keiji Maeda, Kojirō Sasaki, Hisahide Matsunaga

Unlockable character: Lu Bu (2/4)

In Chapter 7, defeat Da Ji within 3 minutes of her defection (originally 1) to unlock this stage.

With the news that Cao Cao was still alive, Orochi became enraged and challenged Wei to a battle to end all battles.

Kojirō Sasaki and a generic officer will appear in the northwest as reinforcements. Hisahide Matsunaga and two more generic officers will arrive in the northeast just as Sun Ce arrives, which is either when Cao Cao’s plan is successful (they would originally not appear in this case) or when 10 minutes have passed and the plan isn’t successful yet or has failed. Hisahide’s unit is a fire attack unit, so if they are not defeated in a few minutes, all the ships in the east will go up in flames.

Orochi will appear in this battle if Chapter 8 has been cleared.

This is one of four battles required to unlock Lu Bu. To impress him, just defeat him without running away from him.

For the ship rating, what would you think of Aya x Nō, Kanetsugu x Mitsunari and Kunoichi x Sasuke? :)

Aya and Nō would be an inferno. A total disaster, but oh so fun. Aya cools off that hell that Nō finds herself living in. She won't confess it, but she feels a bit of relief. Aya wakes up to see Nō with a knife at her throat. She laughs and says "ah, so the knife you were to kill Nobunaga with is to kill me? Using me like a replacement...is that all I am to you, lady butterfly?" She'll laugh, Aya is unfazed by any of Nō's murderous intentions

hmm... Kanetsugu and Mitsunari..they seem to have been closer in the second game, so I'll go by that, (it appears that in subsequent games, Kanetsugu is closer to Yukimura). I don't mind this pairing, but I'm more partial to Mitsunari and Sakon, I could see it happening

Kunoichi and Sasuke, well, it's certainly better than Kuno and Yukimura, which thanks to Spirit of Sanada, creeps me out. I liked their character interactions, I think it works

Character I first fell in love with:Oichi was my very first character and I still love her to this day.Character I never expected to love as much as I do now:Ujiyasu. I never thought a perfect dilf like him existed. He's easily my most beloved character in any of my list.Character everyone loves but I don’t:Mitsunari, Yoshitsugu, Takatora... Most of the Western army guys really. I never get what's so appealing with them. Also Naotora. I can't stand her at all.Character I love but everyone else hates:Koshosho. I mean come on, she's one of the more interesting characters in the game whose story is pretty well done compared to most other characters.Character I used to love but don’t any longer:There once a time I really liked Kanetsugu. But he's just completely annoying to me now.Character I would kiss:Ujiyasu and Oichi. They need all the kiss they can get.Character I want to slap:Yukimura and Naotora. The former to stop him from being stupidly reckless and the latter to make her stop talking.A pairing I love:There's no pairing I find appealing in SW. Oh alright, maybe Ujiyasu x his wife.A pairing I hate:Yukimura x Kunoichi is super squicky since Spirit of Sanada so there's that.

Tekken

The character I first fell in love with: Lee Chaolan. I first met Lee in I believe it was Tekken 4..I started watching Dragon Ball Z and liked Trunks. So I noticed that Lee looked similar to Trunks and started playing as him, and that was that. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Heihachi. I mean he’s supposed to be the big bad, but after playing Tekken 7, I really fell for the guy. I have a thing for the grandpa characters, I wonder if it’s actually transference playing a role here, but anyway, long story short, I want to give Heihachi a hug. 

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Process of elimination, I mean there’s good aspects of just about every Tekken character, there’s just a few I like more than others, I’d probably go with Alisa. I don’t dislike her, but I don’t entirely care for her compared to others. I’m not really crazy about Miharu either. 

The character I love that everyone else hates: Well..I don’t really love Lucky Chloe, I certainly don’t dislike her. Wouldn’t go out of my way to play her though. The character I used to love but don’t any longer: hm…I don’t really have one, actually

The character I would totally smooch: Steve, I think that’s fairly obvious. Hwoa and Bryan, too. 

The character I’d want to be like: I want to not feel and not give a fuck like Bryan, I want to be as wild and eccentric like Lee, as fun loving as Christie, or maybe as cold or aloof as Nina, as fiery as Hwoarang, a mix of everything. Maybe that’s why I created an OC. lulz. Maybe I should make a side blog or something for her. The character I’d slap: Bryan. He might like it. Kazuya, too. Maybe all the men of the Mishima family save for Lars and Lee. 

A pairing that I love: Hwoarang x SteveLee x LarsBryan x SergeiBryan x LeiBob x JuliaHeihachi x KazumiEddy x ChristieAsuka x Lili

oddly enough, I find Marduk x Anna kinda cute. I saw them together once, and I could see Marduk being the cutest gentleman to her

A pairing that I don’t: Jin x Xiaoyu. I think if Jin paid more attention to her and wasn’t so Shonen about it, I’d like it better. As of now, they follow the same tropes that Bao Sanniang/Guan Suo and Kunoichi/Yukimura Sanada follow and I don’t like those either. Awkward teen love is one thing-which I think could work for Jin and Xiaoyu, but whatever they have going on right now doesn’t. I also don’t like Jin x Hwoarang. It’s not that I want Jin to be alone, but I think if they worked on the Xiaoyu pairing idea, they could actually make something nice.

part 1

Katsumi’s PoV

“So, you are the new ninja?”- Lord Shingen asked after he took his seat on top of the dais and giving me a look of something between confusion and great interest, or lust, whatever you prefer.”Yes, lord Takeda. My name is Hirai Katsumi and I was sent by the Iga village Elders to serve you in the best of my abilities.”- I answered the formal way I was taught with a slight bow. Thankfully I was seated the seiza way, where it was acceptable to bow just slightly at the waist while still being counted as a very formal bow. You see, I hate bowing to anyone. I only bow with my forehead to the ground in front of my parents’ graves and, by all Hells, it’s going to stay that way...

”So what are your abilities? I asked for a very skilled ninja and you look, at least on the outside, very talented.”- Lord Shingen said in a way that should have been very arrogant and doubting of me, but instead he sounded honestly interested in my abilities. Strange...”I’m the best medicine and poison maker of Iga, skilled with a needle-type shuriken that is very effective in both ranged and close combat, more than an able rider and archer and I can say without sounding arrogant that I’m also a very good historian and strategist”- Lord Shingen seemed impressed and ...proud? He was a hard man to read even for me. “Well if you are like me, stuck in the same place for almost 3 decades, you learn to understand the outside world from nothing more that books and scrolls. I’ve also read original The Art Of War, were there’re strategies that were never translated from chinese, at least 4 times, so that’s plus.””A female strategist? Really?... Very well then, woman. Quote something out of The Art Of War!” -Turning my head towards the voice I see a not very important looking retainer looking at me with an arrogant smirk, while still undressing me with his eyes, thinking he’s caught me in lie. But, oh man, is he wrong. Getting up from my place with the grace only a kunoichi can posses I start swaying like a willow back and fort between the gathered retainers while quoting words from Sun Tzu that I personally think about very often. ” who wishes to fight must first count the cost ” -” All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”- At the last word I climb on top of the dais and stand behind lord Shingen quoting the last sentence” It is only the enlightened ruler and the wise general who will use the highest intelligence of the army for the purposes of spying, and thereby they achieve great results. ”-”Seems narrow-minded bastardlings of bitch-bred whores like you are the things that stop lord Shingen from unifying the lands, because anyone smarter, slier or stronger than you is deemed a threat and you try to crush them.”- the silence that followed was broken only by the rich laugh that erupted from the red haired man if front of me, so loud, that it startled even me.”Now that’s something! Yukimura, I want this woman in my inner council as soon as possible and tell the maids to give her the chamber closest to mine!”- Lord Shingen looked over to the starstruck looking Sanada boy from before, who eagerly nodded and flashed at me what I can describe only as a “blindingly radiant” smile. “Oh, and Katsumi, call me Shingen.”- He looked over his shoulder and gave me a dazzling smile that almost made me weak in knees. Almost. I returned it with just as much of an alluring smile.

 After the whole farce was done, Shingen ...that sounds weird without lord... dismissed everyone except me, after he told me to sit next to him on the dais he said -”I’m impressed”-”...Is that all? You really kept me after everyone on my first day here to tell me this? I traveled for 5 days no stop to get here and right now I just want to take a nap, that I plan of taking right now, so have a nice evening lor... Shingen.”- As I was standing up to go he caught my arm and tugged me in to his lap as he was sitting cross-legged making clear he wanted me stay, not that I couldn’t break his arm and leave if I wanted to, but having him this close was nice. I didn’t feel like leaving anymore so I wrapped my arms around his neck and crossed my legs to the side over one of his.”You go me, now what?”- I could hear the smirk in my own voice as I saw him sneak his arms around me and pulling me even closer. Something about this man was just so captivating, was it the fiery red hair currently pulled in ponytail,the matching crimson eyes, the broad shoulders or the strong yet gentle hands on my hips I couldn’t tell, but I also didn’t care. The squeeze I felt was clear indicator of what he wanted to happen so I decided to have the control by leaning in first. A New Year Without Ace [Kaito x Ryoko]

Ryoko mutters as she leaves a hibiscus flower on Ace's grave and then sits on the ground in front of it "I stayed strong all this time as promised you when we were children... You know, I have foiled marine's plans so many times that I already lost count of how many were!" Let out a little laugh, although a couple of tears began to fall "But today... I came here to wish you a Happy Birthday... I know should be partying due New Year with the crew but... I can't" She is silent for a few moments, trying to hold back the tears that leaked from her eyes. Then sighs heavily, now turning to Kaito "Darling... at some point will it stop hurting?"

It was tragic, despite Shanks letting Ryoko and Kaito go to Marineford first to rescue Ace, their efforts were not enough to save him. As if he was fated to meet his demise in that horrid war, Ryoko was devastated to say the least. But at least Kaito and the rest of her crew could be there for her, as Kaito was with her at his grave, resting a hand of comfort on her shoulder.

“I don’t know for sure, Ryoko. I did not know Ace as well as you did. But if I lost you at Marineford, I would have a hole in my heart that could never be filled. I believe the hurt will always be there, and with enough acceptance and time, the pain will lessen for you enough for you to bear, so you can continue on your life and be happy. “ Kaito replied. “Jeez!” With his lecture over, Kaito turned to storm off, expression softening at seeing his family. “Sorry, that was not papa’s finest moment...” he admitted with a sigh, ruffling his daughter’s hair to reassure her. “But a nap does sound good, as long as you both want to as well.”

Race to Rescue Ace [Kaito x Ryoko] @nephytale​

Shanks on his Red Force managed to intercept Kaido and the Beast Pirates’ ships on their way to Marineford, and soon a fierce battle began between the two Emperors and their ships. With his main crew with him, he was confident they could manage to stall enough for the Beast Pirates to retreat out of frustration. But he noted his most trusted combatant Ryoko was evidently distracted and not at her best, though her partner Kaito was covering for her, this could not last long before one of them got injured.

Shanks knew that Ryoko and Ace were childhood friends, and the news of his execution was distressful for her, steadily getting worse as the date closed. Kaito would take care of her with comfort food, but they both knew she would regret it if she was too late to do anything about it. So with that in mind, Shanks shot a glance to Kaito for him to get ready for his decision.

“Ryoko, go on ahead to Marineford! We can handle things here, Kaito you go with her too! Take a boat out back, Captain’s orders!” He told them, feeling that was the best option to keep Ryoko safe for now. Kaito and Ryoko were just good insurance, he had faith that the rest of the crew can keep stalling without them as backup.

“Understood, Captain!” Kaito gave a nod to his captain, changing his tactics in battle now as he went to spin his katana in front of him to skilfully deflect attacks while building up his own. “Buster Tornado!” He commanded to send out a blast of spiralling wind to blow away nearby Beast Pirates to clear a path for them.

“Let’s go, Ryoko!” He called to her as he raced to the edge of Red Force, two ropes and a boat below already prepared for them before he jumped and slid down the rope he grabbed. “Drink.” Once Ryoko was on the boat with him, Kaito commanded his snake sword Orochimaru to consume the water to empower it for his next technique.

“Elemental Snake Sword Skill: Aqua Spiral Fang.”

Acting like a motor for the boat, the force lunged the boat forwards to get a head start in riding the tide towards Marineford. “I know you’re worried about Ace, but I have faith that he will be fine. He has the Whiteboard Pirates and his brother now doing what they can to rescue him, chances are he will be freed before we get there,” he spoke to Ryoko while trying to remain optimistic. Though with the video Den Den Mushi broadcasting the latest events to them, the war was chaotic as it could get.
