I have no idea of how interested people in here would be in this kind of stuff, but I recently started trying to find some old YGO websites on the Wayback Machine (like Geocities stuff from the very early 2000s plus some news sites and some peoples' personal blogs) and started putting some archive links to them on Fanlore!

It's not all of the ones I found, but I tried putting only ones that were still kinda readable (some had some stuff on WM but were too broken).

There is some cool stuff in there, I recomend some exploring to anyone who was in the fandom back then and wants to reminisce about it, or is just curious like me to see how people did fandom stuff before all fandoms kinda migrated to the same 7 sites.

this may be controversial but it feels like half of the yugioh ooc type stuff comes from everyone forgetting they are a bunch of 16 year olds. Every single one of them. Yes, even the thousands of years old ghosts are still 16. The only character that wasn’t was Pegasus and he was in his twenties which may explain even more about him tbh

Ghostrick Lantern

It's Pyro Jack in Duel Monster form! I adore the unique take on glowy facial features here. Yeah, they could've just added glowing pupils to Lantern's hollowed out eyes, and maybe some sort of appropriate light source effect inside the mouth, but instead they went for: haunted cartoony face in mouth. Unique as hell I must say. Another fun feature is the dramatic lighting from the eponymous lantern. The highlights and shadows are genuinely done so well (even showing up on the hat's brim) that I kinda wish this guy had an actual scene for a background so that more of it could be shown off. I really am obsessed with the merging of detailed and cartoony in this card. A masterpiece (with a fun design!).

I recently got back into Yu-Gi-Oh because a friend of mine talks about it incessantly and I also wanted an excuse to spend some time with her and while I still don't understand shit about deck building for Yu-Gi-Oh (I had a much easier time with MTG because I could identify and build an aggressive deck around a single mechanic, but fuck WoTC) I've been enjoying playing around with an Ojama deck.

Summary: Where his Other Self is efficient and tactical, Yugi is kind and empathetic. They complement each other: providing what the other lacks. However, it’s sometimes hard to see that when his Other Self seems so much more than what Yugi gives. However, it’s not Yugi’s fault that his life and death scenarios revolve around Duel Monsters. Given another life, Yugi will see that life requires more than a cool head and logical thinking.

I would read the heck outta this. Honestly, one of the best fic ideas I've seen in months.

I want to write thiefshipping but what I want to do is write actual thiefshipping without making an extensive AU and without toning down at all what Yami Bakura is and how he works. I want to see Marik Ishtar attempt to have his inevitably disastrous first ever teenage dream romance with a technically-incorporeal facet of an elder god whose morality and version of affection is only sort of recognizably human. All of the weird bodily autonomy stuff. The clash of their mutual myopias and the post-battle-city breakdown of Marik's god complex while Yami Bakura's remains impervious. A fleeting caricature of inexperienced romance followed by a breakup with a body count. The works.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection launches February 27, 2025 - Gematsu

Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will launch for Switch and PC via Steam on February 27, 2025, Konami announced.

A physical edition will be available for Switch, which includes one of two Quarter Century Secret Rare “Harpie’s Feather Duster” cards.

Konami also revealed Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction will be included in the collection.

Peek of the rough draft for Part II of Angel :3 She's having a nice date with Price, soon enough they'll fuck and Simon will rue the day he gave you his captain's number. ⭕💢⭕💢 Jokes aside, Price is a proper gentleman in this fic. He's definitely going to show the reader what it's like to be properly loved, spoiled and taken care of by an older man. He's a gentle and loving man, just happy to finally have someone interested in him romantically, who has patience for him as a soldier. :'))
