1. What got you into YoI?

I was in the Mystic Messenger fandom when YOI just started airing, so I found this lovely Victor-Jumin swap art made by @yuratchkat and I was like “hey I should check this anime out”. The rest is history.

2. If you could conquer something today, what would it be?

A will to live. The ability to write +15k words in a day.

3. Why did you start a Tumblr?

My friend was like “hey there’s this place that has nice fanart you should check out” and I was really confused for a moment but then she kind of... forced me into Tumblr. I think I made my account and ignored it for a month fsdjfslkd But then once I started learning how to use it I started to like it and... yeah, seven years fly really fast.

4. Which fandom[s] is/are your favorite?

Hmm, the fandom I’m most active in is YOI fandom so idk. I have other fandoms but I’m really not that active on them. 

5. If there was one fanfic that you want written, what would it be about?

God... I lack the knowledge to write a YOI/The Witcher fic but that would be something I’d 100% read. Honestly.

Graduating. I mean I want to, but at what cost.

MC comes home to find a clone of themselves but they have no idea how it got there/who made them. Their clone is freaky but apparently harmless... Except the MC’s friends start disappearing and all suspicions fall on Mc. IDK I’m just blabbering fkldsjklfds

Genres you write in: A little of it all, tbh. I will say, mostly fluff, but I’ve written a nice deal of angst as well, and recently posted my first smut fic. Comedy, too! Works you’ve written/you’re writing so far: My 3 WIPs are the “real” viktor nikiforov, an AU where Yuuri thinks someone is catfishing him as Viktor; i will go down with this ship!, a fandom AU with 3 layers of shipping; and chaos theory, a Jurassic World AU. I’ve also written quite a few oneshots, including my viktor nikiforov is a nightblogger verse, and about 5 soulmate AUs. And many others.

About: 

The last major fandom I wrote fic for was Supernatural, and it’s been nearly 3 years since I wrote long fics. YOI has taken me away from that mess of a fandom and made me genuinely excited about writing fic again. The characters are all unique and I love them, and I can’t stop writing fic for them, in a million different tropes. They also translate really well into a lot of different aus, which is so nice. I am taken away from the world again when I write Yuri on Ice fic, in the best of ways. I love it. And everyone in this fandom is super enthusiastic, which is great. But, yeah. Fanfiction is fun, and this fandom allows for me to write some great fics. <3

So, fine, maybe Yuuri’s a little bored and lonely when he likes a dating profile claiming to be Viktor Nikiforov. And, maybe, he’s a little pathetic when he gets excited when the account messages him almost immediately after. And, he’s definitely stupid for falling in love with someone pretending to be his idol, but he can’t help it. It’s not like it’s the real Viktor Nikiforov, anyway. He knows someone is catfishing him, but he still falls ridiculously in love.

After Yuuri died, he woke up to a bright, flickering light above him. And, well, yeah, Yuuri had heard the phrase that after you die you “see the light”, but he was almost positive that “the light” didn’t refer to an overhead lamp. Especially not the overhead lamp in Viktor Nikiforov’s bedroom. Wait, no, what? Maybe this was heaven. Except, if this was the afterlife, why was Viktor acting like he didn’t exist? And why was Yuuri’s afterlife some creepy stalker-dream of him following around Viktor Nikiforov?

Yuuri started a mental list of the small things Viktor did that annoyed him about a week after going to Russia, and texted Phichit every time he added something new.

I have waxed lyrical many times about Cary’s fics and here I am about to do it again. Her fics are incredibly well-written and her characters are beautifully developed. You can expect anything from Pure Fluff to angst to laugh out loud crack (in the form of memes). She’s one of the authors that you get excited for whenever you see you got a notification from Ao3 in your email. I can guarantee you’ll love all of her fics, from her amazing Catfish au to her hilarious breadstick meme fic.

Congratulations on graduating! (I can’t remember if I have said that before or not. If I had, congrats again! 😆) It’s ok if you’re not feeling it anymore. It has been 3+ years since we’ve gotten any new content. I wish I had time to watch other series so I could get into all the new content everyone is making now. If it’s time to move on, it’s time to move on. We appreciate everything you’ve written for the fandom and will cherish those writings. Don’t feel bad for not feeling inspiration. so these bangs and stuff and then im done?? i… dont know. im gonna rewatch yoi at some point but also i wrote viktuuri for 2 years straight with. nothing else. ive written a lot for this ship and ive really liked exploring new dynamics in bnha. i love yoi and viktuuri and still have a lot of ideas and am big hype for the projects i have i just … idk maybe rewatching the show will bring me back to full enthusiasm
