This was the most beautiful episode of a series I've seen in ages. I am amazed and absolutely heartbroken 💔💔

I knew my girl was on her way out, but her end was beyond beautiful. Having lived a life that was never your own, nothing you did or said changed what you saw, but your end being your own choice is pure poetry. Everyone else on the road had their power taken or blocked by something outside their control but Lilia's power was painful to the point that she decided to take it away herself. Feeling so powerless that you decide to MAKE yourself actually powerless to avoid any more hurt is such a gut wrenchingly hard decision. But imagine how terrifying spending half of your time unsure of where you are, if things are really happening or if you're just seeing something must have been. And on top of that, all people ever saw you as is a herald of death, or worse, they didn't see you at all. Nobody was there to share her fears and doubts, and neither to share any happiness that could have been. She was her own obstacle and what does she decide to do when clarity and confidence have finally returned to her? The one thing she was never able to do in centuries - save the ones she loves. And she does it by sacrificing herself.

And Death knew her. Rio knew who Lilia was from the start cause she watched her from the shadows. She watched her grow and learn and become a witch and most of all - survive. Keeping their true meeting for when it was time to stop running...

How I looked writing that take instead of paying attention in my lecture ^^^^^ Seriously, I see people mischaracterize him all the time, and while I get where they're coming from, he's actually very interesting and way more capable than the fandom gives him credit for. He learns, he grows, he's smart, he's caring, he's a fighter, he's a trailblazer, and he looks good doing it.

Makoto likers, you deserve the biggest hugs IMAGINABLE, one of Danganronpa's strongest soldiers is a 5'3 angel who introduces himself as the most average guy ever, and we love him for that. Don't worry though, I've got plenty more takes where that came from, though no promises if they're any good :3 And feel free to leave your own, I'd love to hear some rants and questions and the like!

Poor Monaca too. Putting her through that could be a really good way to hammer into the audience that she's still a victim even if she was perpetuating abuse even against the rest of the WoH and be a springboard to turning her around and integrating her back into the group ;-; she's like a walking embodiment of the concept of generational cycles of abuse I s2g. The rest of the WoH are too but her even more so.

Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed hearing about the fics!! :D I think last time I talked to you about it, I hadn't finished UDG yet and was just setting the story in a random city. But after I finished UDG, I was like... this is perfect, I can worldbuild with Towa City more, and I can make Hinata and Komaeda like... experience returning to a place that they'd only been to while in despair. How will being returned to their non-despair states affect the way they see things here, and how will they make sure things are different from before?

That's what i was thinking too, regarding Monaca ;-; I was thinking, like... she's been separated from the other WOH since the end of UDG. The other four kids have been hiding from the adults in the city, but at least they have each other. But Monaca had nobody left to help her after Servant was gone, and I was thinking that if Haiji found her like that, judging by the way he treated her in UDG, he'd definitely take advantage of her state to "pay her back" (dude you're an adult man and she's like a ten year old -_-). so she's been isolated and alone for awhile in the fic and going through something terrible. to me, that's more than enough "payback" for what she did to the other WOH (I don't like to think about it that way but I hope that makes sense), and since the rest of the kids are working on recovering, I think they'd be able to see that and don't want her to suffer.

i think that's going to be an important scene in my fic, like... i keep thinking about something where hinata's like "i didn't know you were this sick. please, let's just go back to the island with the kids." but komaeda won't go back, both because he needs to cure his illness, but also because he doesn't want to leave monaca behind.

lots of hurt/comfort and suffering for everyone fdjkhdffd I think everyone is going to go through a Lot in this story. but i do want it to be "hopeful" too hehe.
