"There they go again," says Aunt Alicia as she looks at the hazmat-clad backs of her sister and her husband jumping into their mish-mash-of-a-van. "And on Thanksgiving too," she finishes to herself as she turns toward her niece and nephew. Neither of them look surprised, though Jazz is clearly more affected if the tick in her jaw is any indication.

"They promised," she practically spits but Danny just sighs and puts a hand on her shoulder. It seems to draw the fight out of Jazz a bit and she sags onto herself.

Alicia loves her sister but she can be so irresponsible sometimes.

"Come on kids, let's go back inside. It's about time to put the turk-" she stops short, then groans. Maddie had insisted on bringing the turkey on account of not wanting Alicia to go to all the trouble, and Alicia had agreed on the condition that her sister wouldn't try to make it. "...And the turkey is still in the van isn't it?"

Danny makes a face. "It's probably for the best. I'm pretty sure I saw it move on the way here."

Alicia doesn't let her head fall into her hands, but only just. Instead, she takes a deep breath to calm herself down to rally her thoughts. "Alright. It'll be too late by the time we drive to town and buy a new raw one, so we can just get some already made from the store. That good for you guys?"

Jazz and Danny make sounds of assent before all three of them pile up in the car. Town isn't too far away, and the trip is mostly silent. Alicia is hesitating over what to say to cheer up her niece and nephew. In the end, they pull up to the grocery store before she manages to come up with anything.

"Dad was also supposed to bring desert," Jazz mentions as she grabs a caddie and wheels it back to them.

"I made apple pie just in case," Alicia answers. Despite her dislike for him, she can admit that Jack Fenton is a generous man. However, as she has learned over the years, that generosity doesn't extend to fudge. Which is why she's got her famous apple pie ready to pop into the oven.

Danny nods relieved, as he files in behind his sister. The three of them are rolling past the frozen section when a familiar voice cuts through the store music.

"Alicia?"

At that, Alicia looks up to see the face of one and only Martha Kent. Her lips stretch into a smile unconsciously at the sight.

"Martha, hi," she answers as the other woman starts walking closer. "How are you?"

"I'm good," the other woman says as she stops in front of them. "Just doing some last-minute shopping." Then Martha looks to Danny and Jazz and gives them a smile. "And who might these two be?"

"This is Jazz and Danny," Alicia introduces them, "my niece and nephew. They're spending Thanksgiving up at the cabin with me."

"Oh, that's wonderful!" Martha says sincerely. "You left your sister and her husband in charge of the turkey, then?" She winks.

Alicia winces. "Ah, not exactly."

"They had a work emergency," Jazz says, unhappy.

Martha lets out a sympathetic oh.

"That's why we're here," Alicia explains. "They left with the turkey without realizing, so we'll have to settle for store-bought this year."

Martha makes a noise of sympathy before her face shifts into something more pensive. "You know," she starts. "I've got a big turkey at home and there's only going to be my son and me to eat it. If you guys would like, we'd love to have you over to help us with it."

"Oh we couldn't possibly-" Alicia starts to protest but Martha takes a step forward and takes her hands.

"You'd be doing us a favour," Martha says, her hands still into Alicia's as she looks up earnestly at the redhead. And damn it all because Alicia can feel a blush spreading on her cheeks at that.

"Alright," Alicia says, too flustered to argue.

Martha squeezes her hands once before letting go and Alicia can't help but miss the warmth of them. "Then it's settled."

"Alright," repeats Alicia. "We'll have to swing back home, though. I made pie."

"That's wonderful!" Martha's smile is radiant and it makes something in Alicia's chest warm.

She disguises it with a cough before speaking up. "Is six thirty too early for you?"

"It's perfect. We'll be waiting for you then," Martha says. "And for your sister and her husband too, if they manage to tear themselves away from work."

"That's not likely," mumbles Danny under his breath. Uncharacteristically, Jazz doesn't say anything about her brother's manners, only putting her own hand on his shoulder. Martha catches Alicia's eye and they exchange a look.

"Well, we'll be glad to have you three, anywho," Martha states firmly which gets her a hesitant smile from Jazz.

Alicia clears her throat. "We'd better get going if we want to be ready in time."

"Oh yes," Martha agrees. "I have to make sure the turkey's not burning." Then she winks, and for some reason, Alicia can feel that pesky blush coming back. It's made worse by the shrewd look Jazz gives her.

"See you soon!" says Martha as she leaves.

"Bye," Alicia answers back a little weakly. Then she looks down to the ground and sighs. When she straightens her head, she's immediately on guard as she catches her niece's smug look.

"What?" Alicia asks warily.

"Is Martha single?" Jazz asks, with a butter-wouldn't-melt-in-her-mouth face.

"Yeah," the older redhead answers slowly. "Why?"

"Just wanted to know," Jazz says innocently. And even Danny is looking at his sister suspiciously now. "since you've got a crush on her and all."

"I do no-I don't know what you're talking about!" Alicia protests though she feels her cheeks warming for the third time today.

And now Danny is starting to smirk too as he exchanges a look with his sister. "Oh," he starts as he looks towards Martha's disappearing figure. "This is going to be fun."

Hi again caro 🌟 you know how cillian murphy is being compared to yoongi and vice versa (they share aries/ashwini placement in their big 3 in vedic ), the ketuvian eye / deadpan look but actually being softies on the inside . Plus cillian's face is 100%female and 100% male got me wondering if he's a classic type (same amount of yin /yang) or maybe a gamine like yoongi cause that man always looks young ! Thanks !

cillian's kibbe type | analysis

i endlessly deliberated on his image ID way before, too, he's such a tough case — but hear me out: i'm nominating soft classic.

TR and FG being his only other options of highly androgynous types imo. i'll narrow it down ("crossing out" method, below) maybe we can find some consensus. so:

he consistently dresses pure classic off the screen, at least that i am sure of. symmetrical, standard tailoring, mid-contrast colors. goes in the right direction. well-fitted, puts emphasis on his face. not THE spectacular outfit, sometimes too stark, but pure classic works for his body shape. reversely, C does not fit pure romantics and all naturals because of their rounded/blunt shoulders bulking out the sharp edge. but for cillian, the standard tux, easy. the more dapper, the better for him.

2. now, he got famous for characters that dress dramatic classic (peaky blinders, scarecrow, oppenheimer...), but i think those lines are too long/drowning from a distance and without movie magic. yes, the warm tone of the right coat contributes as clashing since he's cool-toned. but proportion-wise, and at 5'7, all yang-dominant types disqualify for him anyway. too large, wide, boxy.

3. then again, cillian being such a renowned classic dresser and directors agreeing says something. nolan always shows him as a C! it is his thing. but: we have to accommodate that cillian's not in a yang height range, and an androgynous face calls for androgynous fashion. put him in a masculine-coded Natural styling (scruffy beard, loose outfit & hair, bulky fabric), it's a disaster. proves how we crosses out N for him early. it needs more yin.

4. puzzlingly... he can do some dramatic lines, even as a smaller guy. that means he's either TR, or an FG, or some classic that can handle a tailored silhouette. Cs are notoriously style chameleons as long as a frame is kept. see my dilemma? 😭 it can go either way.

he looks awesome in that matrix-type dramatic ID fashion, hair sleek, colors dark, sharp edges. maybe he's a true winter or true summer, that's why D colors are fine with him. at least we can exclude pure gamine and soft gamine because they crave the line break and more pizzazz. pure C is also overwhelmed by anything that goes off balance. subtypes are more flexible.

CROSSING OUT: C, SG, G (3 possible types left!!)

finally, why are TR, FG, SC my top 3 picks? because they all combine shorter height with a mix of "feminine and masculine" essence/lines. he has to be among these 3.

5. i see why any gamine is a viable option generally, cillian being short. but i think it's too much for him to pull off, and people hardly perceive him as petite and cute and moon-faced. for yoongi, that's immediately obvious. most SGs have a face like a young romantic type. worlds apart from cillian's insane jaw/cheekbones.

cillian looks too sophisticated, mature, structured, sexual, otherworldly for SG. not sweet, baby-like, cute. classics age gracefully and especially "like fine wine" as well, it's not limited to G types. much like D becomes more dignified with age and truly grows into their severe, tall look, or N types gain even more rugged charm, etc.

style-wise... G color blocks, stripes, details, all seemingly turn him into someone else. the gamine hair chop is unflattering, too. patterns transform him into another person. gamine fashion is a mixed bag on cillian, while soft classic never misses.

6. cillian's height does say G or R, and yes i know, many type him TR. i could agree with it; but still, his figure isn't full/soft/fully rounded (R) or compact (G) enough in my opinion. TR does have some chiseled D characteristics like him, but you have to see softness and curve first, as with all romantics.

compare jimin or billy dee williams (R), such a different vibe! R and TR are sexiness machines. more rounded thighs, nothing works without waist emphasis, rounded chest area, figure 8 body, more rounded nose and romantic curls, the list goes on! cillian's body type is also short like that, but not as curve-dominant, but balanced (shoulders, legs, waist all line up and are straighter = balanced = classic).

question is, does cillian's extreme dieting interfere here so he's harder to type? styling-wise, i do think TR clothing is something else on him, but it steals the limelight or overdefines his face. i also feel like waist definition isn't 1000% paramount for him. plus, kibbe writes for TR: "Stiff fabrics, straight lines, and geometry are to be avoided at all costs!" — While Cillian easily dresses best in exactly that 😂 (WOW!)

imo TR also ages him unfairly, and all you look at is the ornaments, not him. soft classic is still a romantic-influenced subtype, yes, so it does flatter him, below is a memorable look, don't get me wrong. but it takes the focus. i only see how fantastic the garment is, while cillian is secondary, and his face is suddenly too stark, devoid of definition. it's too high glam. i wish we'd have more pictures of him dressing TR to compare, that might be another problem.

7. SC is the only type left to explain his mysterious looks. recap: he's successfully classic-dressed, has a yin height plus a face that combines yin and yang, his silhouette is balanced not curved, all his huge movie roles are C image typecastings, that's SC.

i do think the polished, soft, but shapely elegant character of this type is expressed in him. SC is a highly androgynous type for men, think ATEEZ yeosang. but SC men are so well-dressed in controlled hairstyles and very masculine period or past fashion, ironically, because the fabrics are soft, plush, symmetrical, and tailored. that definitely applies to cillian 10/10. his face simply pops.

cillian looks best dressed minimally, always symmetrical, slight wave in the hair, head to toe theme > mixing styles, understating, no color experiments, basics > overdressing, his signature for a reason. symmetrical coat plus soft woven fabric underneath sounds like it. puts the focus on him while at the same time being well-styled. he was born for timeless, subtle fashion.

and in general... who could dress classic so impactfully, anyways?

Hear me out because I have a vision:

Barbara- centric hacker movie. (Barbara-centric, not Birds of Prey for this one.) Like not a dc adaptation, a hacker movie that's an AU. Fair warning: I understand nothing about how hacking works.

Barbara is a thirty-five years old bisexual overqualified librarian. Every time someone asks her why she works in a library and if she's never bored she replies she likes the quiet and the books, but we see, on her work computer, that she's always reading like one science article one philosophy book and news article etc at the same time to stay stimulated; she also has several degrees and on screen we see notes of her working on p=np because it'd be funny. On a date, we see her hint that she likes that the library is calm because she gets excitement from her nightlife.

The nightlife in question: Her hacker name is of course Oracle. At first, she learnt how to code because she was bored, and then she got invested in the secrets she could unravel, but her real entry into cyber activity happened after she hunted down the identity of the man responsible for the stray bullet that paralyzed her during a shootout and framed him for tax evasion. This isn't like, the heart of the story or anything, just a little flashback to explain her motivation and how hacking helped her regain her self-confidence and grow around it. That part was cut in the final version of the movie because it was very very long but Barbara's actress and those who have seen the director's cut agree it's an important context for her characterization.

The movie is about her uncovering a fucked up ploy by the government to cover up an industrial catastrophe that's already killed hundreds, and continuing to poison people because they're burying the proof so that the industry can carry on for profit. It becomes even more complicated when she finds out not only is this a corrupted government officials issue, but the cia is involved because of the potential interest of whatever chemical is being produced in this factory as a weapon, so it's one woman against the giants of this world.

Thankfully, Barbara isn't truly alone in everything. She has or builds close relationships through the movie, such as:

-Dinah: her old highschool friend with whom she had lost contact, but Dinah doesn't know that at first: she's down on her luck (lost all her money+ scum boyfriend after scum boyfriend, etc.) and Oracle calls her and offers a sketchy job. (She cuts into the funds of some billionaire to do this, highjacking the dumb algorithm he made for tax evasion.) She calls Barbara her conscience and Jiminy (her own conscience is perfectly efficient and still she says that). Barbara is always calling her on an old kind of phone because she doesn't like technology. Barbara calls her "My hands, my eyes, my heart". Around the last third to fourth of the movie, at the start of the build-up to climax, we have the famous "Barbara...call me Barbara moment", except after that the scene continues and they fuck, like you don't see everything but it's not fade to black either, Dinah's mouth on her neck, hands untying clothes, fingers trailing across the other's skin drenched in water from the pool, the classic cliche fingers intertwining, dramatic music, and then we can fade to black.

-Dick: a 25 years old bartender with an inability to keep the same job for more than a couple of months who is haunted by the death of his parents in a circus accident when he was a kid. They start to date because she's investigating his parents' involvement in her case (they were killed to stifle down whistleblowing), I don't want them to kiss in the movie just they're clearly starting dating and then he wakes up alone in her bed and thanks to some adequate plot excuse Dick finds the file about his parents and falls to his knees. I want a scene where he's kneeling at her feet, devastated (idk if crying or not, director's choice) and she's trailing her fingers in his hair and asks him if he wants to help her get him his revenge and he looks at her with so much grief and devotion and says he'll do anything. After that moment they don't really break-up (esp since they weren't officially together) but their relationship has shifted, there's a form of affection/care/devotion but it's less romantic than the cute dating from the beginning (but no less weirder or intense). The music for them is not when she brings him back to her apartment but when he's kneeling at her lap because that's where the climax is.

> I'm not sure who more to include but I'm considering versions of Cassandra Cain, Helena Bertellini or Selina Kyle. Keep in mind that these are civilians in a hacker movie, more than having meta abilities or insane hero skills they need to be smart, brave, motivated af with a bone to pick, trusting in Oracle and generally normal people (though a reasonable measure of Selina's b&e skills certainly wouldn't hurt.)

> They find help in allies amidst doctors/scientists trying to study the apparent epidemic (but the research is being pushed down), maybe Talia al Ghul and Barry Allen?

> In any case I want Barbara to be badass and flawed in a way that's like kinda a bit morally grey, but it's not in a "everyone's a bit of a villain here"; there's a scene in the movie where Oracle is blackmailing a corrupt guy into double-crossing the cia for her and he's like 'you think you're so much better than me" and Oracle is like "oh, it's terribly easy to be better than you, I don't even have to be good."

Anyway the scandal is released and there are protests and justice stuff and they win. I'm not sure how the story ends for Barbara, maybe the last shot is her at the library working on her equations as if nothing had happened but with a tiny floating little smile, maybe she disappears mysteriously from everyone's life leaving a shadow and they're all wondering what she's up to now and why she left (leaving ground for a potential sequel that might never live up to the original) Dick is reflecting about how she changed his life forever and the last shot is Dinah thinking about the way she's missing the part of her soul that was whispering in her ears, etc.

The movie gets released in the theatres etc for a little less than one week before it's cancelled and forbidden forever because of some concerning similarities between the plot and some existent factories that somehow made it to the big screen without anyone noticing, however the movie is already circulating, it's all over the internet, grainy footage from the theatre, leaked bits from the director's cut (not the final cut remember), alleged snippets from the original script appearing on forums, etc. It's too late.

Idk, just- Barbara centric hacker movie. "Any similarities to real life circumstances is purely accidental" type of stuff.

super random question you may or may not be able to answer (or maybe you've answered already i don't know sorry sdjsjds), but i was wondering if you new the best comics featuring bart allen? i've read impulse 1995, and young justice 1998 & 2019 already and i was just wanting to know if there was anything else decent featuring him!

His origins in The Flash (1987) starting with Issue #92 is a GREAT place to backtrack to if you have not done so yet. Honestly, a lot of his initial appearances as Impulse are worth reading!

NOTE: this list is NOT EXHAUSTIVE. This is just what I remember right now that I could easily come up with. One day I really need to make an in-depth reading guide that separates all his appearances by his relevancy.

I do highly recommend the following issues;

The Flash (1987) #92-101 - These are his intro issues leading up to his solo series.

The New Teen Titans (1988) #114, #0, #115-#118, Annual #11, #122 - His time as a Titan under Roy where he is friends with Grant. Roy is also kind and patient with him and is able to work with him in ways that Wally struggled severely with.

Single Character Interactions, these are issues where Bart is interacting more or less one on one with a character that are fun to check out.

Adventures of Superman #533 - Clark and him solve a mystery together.

Robin Plus (Impulse) - Bart and Tim's first official meeting during a ski trip.

Superboy and the Ravers #7 - you can't miss his first real meeting with Kon as they flirt back and forth can you?

Legion of Super-Heroes (1989) #88 - Bart and Brainiac 5 find out they are kindred spirits and cause mayhem together. Ends on a bit of an ouch for Bart though, but he walks away with a good friend in Brainiac 5.

Other random issues.

Impulse Plus (Gross Out) - Bart in Scare Tactics is a delight.

Legends of the DC Universe #19 "Impulse" - So this one does have some outdated humor and some inappropriate shots of Carol, but it still has value giving us a Manchester story with some fun interactions between Bart, Max, Preston, and Carol. This issue is also VERY often overlooked.

Adventures in the DC Universe #13 - I always suggest this one and I will continue to suggest this one: Bart meets The Impulsives, a band named after him, and helps J'onn solve a mystery.

The Flash (1987) #145-#148 "Chain Lightning Saga" - The Flash Family rips through time together and meet various decedents and speedsters as they attempt to thwart Colbalt Blue.

Flash 80 Page Giant #1 "The 5000 Rats of Bartholomew Allen" - The title says it all, it is also where he got his mice.

Superboy (1994) #83, #92 & #99 - These 3 all feature Bart on more than one page, in 83 he tries to help Kon get his groove back, in #92 it is the FAMOUS Kon issue where he imagines Bart as the White Rabbit and a Playboy Bunny joke is made, and in #99 Bart scrambles to save an alternative de-powered Kon from Doomsboy and another scout is killed in the process.

Flashpoint: Kid Flash Lost #1-#3 - Also another series I HIGHLY recommend for all Bart lovers. It is a bittersweet goodbye and love letter to his character right before the N52 reboot. Honestly it is some of the BEST Bart content as Kid Flash, if not THE best.

Legion of Super-Heroes in the 31st Century #15 - This is an ELSEWORLDS that I again strongly recommend. Based entirely on the LoSH cartoon Impulse is in his VR program (still) and needs the Legionnaires to help save the lives of sentient AIs from a threat.

JQ & DC is most likely a PR stunt, not a real relationship. Joseph had (most likely/pretty much) rejected her back in 2022 and she had dissed him in one of her songs called "Attention", basically saying he's lazy as shit, how he needs a new wig (Eddie reference), how he thought he was above her (he basically is), how she didn't care that he wouldn't fuck her (she does), and how she had him famous from the problem she had with Noah (she fucking didn't, it was all Joseph that made him famous). Obviously, she couldn't take rejection. Also, she has an album coming out and tours to do and he has Gladiator 2, F4, and he was in British Vogue. She's a very bad person and I have no idea why she had to be the pick for the PR stunt but whatever. Also, the stupid thing is that people are attacking Joseph's father for "raising his son badly". Which passes me off because his dad didn't do anything. This is all JQ and DC's issue. I don't want them bringing his father into this. See many people are saying to "just accept the fact that they're dating" but they aren't even dating. Joseph didn't like her in 2022 and she's very bad. She couldn't take rejection like a bitch. And she's very demonic and weird as fuck. This has to do with Marvel or something and this JQ and DC news is from a person who's notorious for PR stunts. Also, JQ isn't the only one doing these things. It's just a Marvel thing I guess. And to anyone who supports DC or even likes her, that's insane. I talked about this to my mother and grandmother and they even say that it's fake and it's just a PR stunt. A similar thing happened with famous rappers Ice Spice and Central Cee where they did a PR stunt with their new collab song. And they both are problematic in their ways. Also if anyone thinks that hating on Doja is "racist", most people agree that Lupita and Joe would've been way better and cuter. Lupita is a real woman and very kind and not problematic while DC is just a stupid girl who's weird as shit. And I'm not jealous at all, I could care many fucks less about Joe's dating life. But this is DC, a very problematic girl who's done very bad things and is very demonic and weird as hell. If it was any woman that people knew and wasn't problematic, it would've been way better. Chihiro's Age and Being the Perfect 18 Year Old Protagonist

Today I will be breaking down Kagurabachi's Chihiro’s age and why he’s a great 18 yr old protagonist and acts his age. Please forgive if my current DC brain rot bleeds into this.

I think Chihiro’s core can attributed to growing up being loved and respected by his parents. One of the first conversations is Kunishige telling Chihiro that if he wants to be a blacksmith like him and carry the burden of the role’s consequences, “…If that’s how you feel, all that’s left, is for me to believe in you.”

I think when you grow up with a loving parent like that, that loving voice is always in your head. He reminds me of that joke that the reason Superman is so good is because both of his parents loved him unconditionally. But who do we get when you have loving parents who get killed in a traumatic way in front of you? Batman, hi! Hi, Batman! Hi! AKA “that nut from Gotham city” and Chihiro already has such a reputation. Not as a psycho, but he’s deemed dangerous and strong. He’s someone to keep an eye out for now. He’s been underestimated before this arc because of his age.

I personally think that had Kunishige never been murdered, Chihiro wouldn’t had ever chosen to wield a blade unless it came to a time of war. But he adapted to the idea easily because he’s been preparing himself his whole life to be responsible for deaths as a blacksmith. What’s the difference anyways when you’re the wielder? Probably a lot, but you’re a teenager and want one thing, and it’s the right thing in your mind so let’s just start moving.

He has assigned himself the responsibility to get the katanas back and get revenge, and he’s very set on it in a one track, 18 yr old way. When Char got taken, his mind was on getting her back. When Sojo was doing his shit, his mind was on taking him down. Then he immediately moves back into getting back the katanas, not really taking time to process literally losing a limb after already not fully healing from a hospital visit. He’s reckless with his physical health- typical for his age.

Older characters around him also treat him his age. Shiba doesn’t really leave him out of his sight if we’re real about it. He lets him fight on his own and trusts that Chihiro has a handle on things because he knows him and probably trained him. He would’ve gone in during the first fight with Sojo had Azami not stopped him. He is willing to hop in when things get bad, and he will always be there to catch him, but overall, he knows he’s old enough to handle physical strain. Still, there’s that famous moment in the train at the beginning where Shiba does warn Chihiro all the hatred he’s been carrying is “…gonna break you.”

Chihiro asks in return, “So you wanna stop me?” And neither of them says anything and continue to go about their mission. Shiba respects Chihiro and his choices, understands he’s an adult and this is what he wants, but he looks out for him because at the end of the day, he’s still eighteen. And his best friend’s baby.

We also have Azami who summoned the Kamunabi because although he he’s been told Chihiro can fight, he also knew that he had never fought another enchanted blade wielder before and knew the city damage could get crazy. In a way, I think it was also a way to keep an eye on him because he doesn’t want him to get hurt, either. Azami has been proven to be sentimental with his phone lockscreen. He kept Chihiro’s existence a secret because until KB’s starting point, he was a child. He’s barely an adult, and Azami who hadn’t seen him in a while, is still like I guess he can handle it, if Shiba says and then absolutely not.

My final point is that Chihiro treats children well. He talks to children in a way kids like to be talked to- like real people. Kids say crazy things, but he still took time to feed and talk to Char and take her seriously even before they were attacked. The same thing occurs with Mr. Inazuma. He gets down to their level, listens to them in the way his father listened to him, and he goes along with what they want while making sure they’re not going to die.

Chihiro was shown to have been a responsible child and he had to grow up quick to be able to accomplish his goals. In a way, an indirect goal of his is to protect the innocent- children. He knows what it’s like to be a defenseless child and to have nobody run to your aid, so he acts the most rational when other people’s lives are on the line. And when it all falls on his life, he lets himself get a little bit reckless because that’s just what allegedly blood thirsty 18 yr old boys do. I’ll come back to the allegedly later.

Simon hardly ever watches any movies, but the ones he watches are definitely some sort of fighting genre. He loves action movies, but he’ll never admit it.

He also never admits that he has a favourite actor, he’ll always say something like: “that’s stupid. It’s not like it’s realistic or real, why would I obsess over someone who’s just playing a role?”

Little does anyone know that you are his favourite actor.

He purposefully picks the action movies you’re in, and when he’s alone he’ll appreciate your skill in acting.

He’ll always start getting defensive if soap points out the fact that you’re in every movie he picks, so the TaskForce just stay quiet and grin in amusement that he may have a fond liking towards your characters.

He’ll for sure save the movies you’re in to jerk off to later, he doesn’t realise the extent to which you turn him on. He’s never felt like this about any other celebrity before, but he finds you so attractive it’s hard not to get a bulge when he’s watching you.

He’s the type to settle down after a long day, turn the Tv on and lazily touch himself to your action scenes. He has a huge thing for how vicious you look.

If you two were to ever bump into each other, he will be fan-girling so hard.

He won’t show it, but his heart will be pounding as he casually strolls up to you and asks for a picture.

He’ll clear his throat to get your attention and ask you in a very manly tone to get a picture.

If the two of you were together, he’d be the protective type - he’d hate the fame you’re getting. He’s not jealous, just annoyed that many men will also be drooling over you too.

He likes to keep you, not share you, and in public he’ll often show that.

If anyone’s asking for a picture he won’t let go, he’ll keep a hand around your waist and force the fan to get him in the photo too.

Hell purposely start kissing you/ your neck when paparazzi are around. He likes people to know you’re taken.

After a long day of shooting or a fan-signing event, he’ll fuck you for hours on end just to prove you’re his.

2. Konig.

Is he in the TaskForce or am I being stupid? I searched it up cause I was confused and it said he was a TaskForce 141 operator…so someone correct me if I’m wrong haha.

This man has no shame. He’ll have posters/collectibles of your characters and keep them around his room.

He’s the type to print out pictures of you from google and make his own posters out of them.

He does get a little embarrassed when someone brings up the fact he’s practically in love with you, and he doesn’t necessarily talk to his peers about it.

He finds it more of a quiet hobby. So whenever one of his colleagues steps into his room, he gets very flustered about his obsession.

Is a hard-core movie nerd, so he pleasures himself a lot to your pictures, characters, movie scenes, anything that includes you. His dick looks beat up and down right swollen from how long he spends jerking off to you.

If he was to ever see you in public, he would go feral. He’d be so nervous at first, not knowing how to approach you and visibly beating himself up to man up and go speak to you.

He’ll eventually do it and approach you, he’s very flustered but gets things done.

He’ll chat for ages once he’s comfortable, sometimes over-shares and is down right creepy about how obsessed he is with you.

Konig has a massive ego, so he’ll start to brag about how big of a fan he is, starts to really get into the conversation.

If you two were a couple, he’d have a love-hate relationship.

He’ll scroll through your social media, sometimes sitting alone at his desk, busy with plans and work when he finds himself working his hand over his twitching cock under the table.

Price would definitely pull a picture of you up on his phone and cum all over the screen.

He likes badass characters, and you being in a lot of actions just does something to him - especially the outfits you wear.

If he caught you out in public, he would be so friendly that anyone would think the two of you are friends.

He’d approach you with no shame, his camera already out like a desperate puppy.

He doesn’t mean to, but invades your personal space a lot, will just hug you for a picture, wrap his arm around your waist, etc without knowing how touchy he’s being.

If the two of you were a couple, he’d be devoted. He’d come to your sets, the biggest smile on his face as he watches you work.

On the red carpet etc, he will always have a hand wrapped around your waist - just a simple gesture to show everyone the two of you are a couple.

He doesn’t mind the fame you get, mostly because he’s with you all the time - so he keeps an eye on you.

This is just random - but if you smoke too he’ll blow the smoke into your mouth before kissing you (in public) in front of the cameras.

He’ll appreciate every inch of your body in the bedroom, especially after seeing you on set on the same day. He’ll beg you to take any outfit from the set back home to see you wear it.

This man will go on for hours, he has the most energy during sex.

sometimes when he gets jealous, he’ll take a picture of your nude body and save it just so he can act smug knowing he has it.

I think it’s funny that Stex has a roughly inverse relationship between how popular/glamorized something is and how interesting its depiction is.

Electra’s most notoriously weird traits (mind control, everything about the first two verses of AC/DC) are dead-on to notoriously invisible electric train traits that multiple rail employees have said “nobody knows or cares about”. I have a lot of ire towards how slanderously wrong they get a lot of more basic traits of electric trains but damn does getting obscure stuff like MU control and incompatible electrification systems right make up for it. Electric trains are such a non-entity in a lot of train media that Electra kind of mirrors the likes of Dr Frank N Furter being “problematic but hey, it’s some kind of representation”

Freight cars (and unpowered train cars in general) rarely get much personality or individual coverage, but the freight and Components in Stex are amazing as visually distinct and funny background characters in the replica show. Honestly I think their designs and concepts are more fun than most of the main characters, which is rare in media. The Components are more dubious but also lean towards Maintenance of Way vehicles, which are often pretty invisible to the public (but people tend to be fascinated by them when highlighted). I don’t know if the “hivemind” or “parts of a whole” thing are canon outside the Components name or just fanon, but it’s very EMU coded which is also an interesting direction with something widely regarded as “boring and mundane”

Greaseball is tropey in alllll the right ways. He doesn’t need to be weird or unique, he’s the establishment and dear god he works better the more you know about US railroads. British media tends to make diesel engines suck in just the right ways.

Momma/Poppa would be in a similar category to Greaseball if better written. I really don’t think it would be hard to fix the cringier aspects of the character without impacting the plot. They could be a lot more interesting though, even just having more of a backstory like Belle would be a step up.

The coaches are less distinct and get too human for my tastes, but generally work. OLC Belle probably has the strongest identity which is kind of funny with how sleeping cars are unappealing to tourist trains since they can’t be reused as-is. I think they could be a lot more interesting with more of the nuance and practical issues of different coaches (even just teasing each other over wall outlet quality).

The Nationals are based on relatively famous trains and it’s unfortunate that they’ve always been characterized so badly. Rail is such a nationalistic industry I think their concept is stronger vs generic or fantasy-based origins but man they didn’t even try to look into surface-level train jokes about the countries in question. It was an easy assignment and the writers still botched it and haven’t fixed it.

I don’t have anything positive to say about Rusty, my historical and metaphorical problems with him are only magnified with how I’m sick of small steam engines because they’re so overdone. Be a Pump is weirdly the most compelling aspect of him and imo not as unbelievable as most claim. Usually it was steam locomotives being turned into stationary pumping engines, but the inverse is vaguely feasible, especially with just how desperate some places got for small steam engines with how popular preservation was by the 80s (importing them from China, getting in bidding wars over reasonably functional ones, grabbing anything vaguely salvageable from scrapyards). But acknowledging that blows up the rest of his concept.

THE GREATEST HITS - the proposal

You've come home about an hour earlier than you usual do. That is why Jason panics. No other reason. Oh yeah, maybe it's because tonight he's planning on telling you out right that he wants to marry you and has a ring to offer you and everything.

But you're home early.

"Shit shit shit shit-" he says to himself. You're coming through the front door. And at the front door are the black and red balloons. If that didn't tip you off then maybe the candles would? Jason cringes.

"Jay?" you call out.

He thinks maybe he shouldn't answer. If you think he's not here, maybe you'll step out and call him to see where he's at and if he has anything to do with this. But you're way too smart for this. You'll know this was all him.

"Yeah?" he responds.

"Are we having a party tonight or something?" you ask.

Jason cringes even more. If you were asking that, you obviously didn't see the candlelight dinner set up in the dinning room. Jason thinks to himself, he can save this.

He runs at the speed of light. He darts out of your shared room and around the corner, stubbing his toe. He lets out a string of curse words as he continues running. When he sees you at the threshold of the living room.

The living room where polaroids of you and him are hung up from the ceiling. Right. Those. He forgot about those. You are looking up at the pictures in wonder. Then you look at him.

"Jay..." you trail off.

"You weren't supposed to be home until nine, you're early." he grumbles.

You smile at first and then a laugh starts making it's way out of your chest. The sound is comforting for Jason, he knows then and there that none of this is scaring you at all. He feels his heart start to beat normally again.

You slowly make your way over to him by the hallway. As you do, you wrap your arms around his waist.

"What'd I do to deserve all this?" you ask.

"You existed, you signed that first movie contract, and you put up with me-" Jason starts.

For him it's true. Surely you would have dropped him if you two weren't staring opposite in a movie together. Or if the movie tanked. Either way, he knows that every day you choose to be here with him and he's thankful you make that decision.

"I love you, I'm not putting up with you Jason." you say.

He looks at you then. In your eyes. He can see how your pupils dilate just the tiniest bit. He remembers the first time he saw it happen on set. He had to ask for a break because he couldn't believe he was in the presence of a being capable of holding his attention that way.

"I just-this was supposed to be a big surprise and I was gonna get you at the door and walk you around before I gave you the ring, which now that I think about it you don't wear jewelry that much anyways so if you don't like it I can return it or pass it to someone else." Jason rambles.

Your eyes go wide at his words.

"You got me a ring?" you ask.

Jason nods his head. He keeps nodding and nodding until he's pulling out the box from his jacket pocket and bending on one knee. Your eyes begin to water and he wants nothing more than to wipe them but he can't.

"I'm finally asking, sweetheart." he says.

Then he props the box open. A black metallic ring in the box with the smallest jewels set in the metal.

"Jason! It's always yes! Yes! A million times yes!" you shout.

You hold out your hand, and Jason takes the ring out of the box and slides it onto your finger. You don't even look at the ring after that. Your arms go around his neck and you fall right into him. The both of you go softly tumbling to the floor, Jason cushioning the fall for you.

"I can't believe you said yes." he says, and laughs too.

"I can't believe that you can't believe I would say yes." you laugh too.

Jason Todd didn't think his life could get better. Yes he grew up the son of a movie star and was able to figure out if the life was for him or not, and he got to do things other people only dreamed of. But walking onto set the first day of your movie was the best day of his life and he didn't even know it then. He knows it now.

Ramble under the cut

Okay so, Falsone is Logico's twin brother and a fashion designer, as you could tell by the video.

His brand's name is the same as his and he occasionally models, which is not helping him stay anonymous in public. Yeah he hates public attention, specifically when people make a big drama out of it.

He loves his brother and all, but after they graduated the same high school, they went their separate ways, Logico went to the DC, Falsone went abroad. The video features them meeting after something something years

Irratino knows Falsone actually due to having some clothing items from his brand, but didn't realize the two looked similar until they met.

He has a permanent resting bitch face and usually sounds sarcastic on accident/has an asshole voice.

Also, we can't miss a tiny bit of angst.

Although he models and all, and knows his body is fine, he still often feels insecure. Maybe it's the guilt knowing how harsh the modelling industry is and most models don't have it easy, or the hate of almost always being recognised immediately in public. Falsone has minor body dysmorphia, but thankfully a baggier shirt is enough to take his mind away momentarily.

Unfortunately, something that isn't solved as easily is the fact he causes himself stress and tends to overwork himself 90% of the time. Designing, modelling, competing against other designers, hosting events, making the clothes have all become what his life revolves around.

So yes, he's rich, he's famous, his clothes won't be out of fashion anytime soon, he doesn't have to follow typical modelling standards because he's his own boss, sure he has a handful of genuine friends like his accountant Sebastian, yes he could go on a spontaneous vacation at any time he wants, but he's still unhappy. All because work is all that is on his mind, to keep customers happy, to stay in trend etc etc. he's suffering from his own success.

Falsone is more than willing to give his bro money, but Logico (hc incoming) HATES taking money from others, one because he doesn't want to depend on others (except his boss, but it's literally his job so) and two, also fears he won't be able to repay them. Which Falsone finds ridiculous, because they're literally family, but still respects his wishes.

I hope I haven't been bothering you with my asks and comments. I just find your readings in particular fascinating. They're distinct from others I've seen.

Would you be willing to share about his Divine Counter part? I know a karmic has tried to come in between them, but I'm a sucker for a good love story. And seeing multiple readers speak about her on a few different platforms and how even one reader on YouTube said they would have a romance of a life. It makes a romantic like me root for them.

I've seen a few different readers say she is intuitive and part of the spiritual community. Do you agree?

I am unsure I have anything new or interesting that has not already been said.

A karmic has tried to come between them, and this has been a karmic cycle that's lasted lifetimes. It doesn't feel like the first time this happened for this divine pair. They've experienced similar events in past lives. They've always had to fight to be together. And sometimes they've failed.

Divine counterpart is just a fluffy phrase for a high-level soulmate that's always romantic in nature. People have multiple soulmates, but they aren't always romantic. Your best friend who is your ride and die, who always seems to get you. They are your soulmate because you come from the same soul family. A divine counterpart is technically a soulmate because you also have merged enough and become part of the same soul family, but there is just a slight difference. So it gets a different title.

Divine counterpart energy will always affect the other. It does not matter how separate they are. Henry and his DC in this lifetime could decide to not unite but their energies will still affect the other. Its just the way of it. They share a very strong, high-level connection.

I feel like his DC went through a period of transformation. I'm seeing roses bloom, which is my symbol of someone blossoming quite literally and transforming while embracing their true beauty.

Her frequency has heightened. That alone could have triggered feelings or occurances in his life in order for him to catch up because he was falling behind. I've seen and worked with a few divine pairings, and I have found this is common. So even while apart, they still manage to influence the other on a frequency level.

We each come into this life with a divine plan. A soul contract.

That means Henry decided before incarnating this lifetime what he wanted to experience, learn, and achieve. He chose to be famous. It's in his astrological chart. Our astrology chart is our soul contract. You can derive the plan from it. Who knows why he chose to be famous. Only his higher self knows and can share why he chose to experience fame. What he wanted to learn from it. Maybe it also served the purpose of putting him in the open so it was easier for his psychic military to find him.

Because I'm seeing him and his counterpart trying to snap a wheel. It's a big part of why they're here. It also feels like tired of having to keep fighting the same fight over and over. Trying different avenues to break the karmic cycle.

I feel like their union this lifetime, is almost strange. Not in a bad way. But just with how Source has worked around and with them. I feel like if they shared their love story and how things played out and were 100% truthful, people would have an element of disbelief. It would be hard to comprehend because it has that otherworldly quality. That's the impression I feel from it. But I feel it happened in order to help them do what they set out to do and snap the wheel. I couldn't tell you if they've succeeded. The story hasn't ended. But I will say if they don't succeed, they will just have to come back and do it over again. If you don't achieve your soul contract, you have to come back and try again. The contract is your deal and promise to the universe.

I'm also being told she had to be given time to catch up to him. I do feel she has lived and learned many life lessons. A lot in a short amount of time. She had to be given time to process and integrate them. This was preordained. She chose to do that. In order to learn and help her achieve what she wanted in this life. Because of this alone, I will say there is an age difference. I could not tell you how much of one. It could be 3 years, it could be 12. But I do know there is one in order for her to have time before they came into union. I do not know which direction the difference is. Older or younger.

I don't mean to offend anyone and I will explain myself.

But I feel like DC and NV have similarities. Let me explain.

I feel like they both have experienced toxic childhoods where there was a lot of instability, and they both had to fight for what they needed. But these experiences turned NV cold and hard. There's been damage to the psyche. She grew up money hungry, dreaming of glamor, and the attention of stardom. She turned out to be a very unpleasant person.

Whereas these experiences for DC taught her humility, compassion, and kindness. She didn't let these experiences turn her hard and cold. She could have, but they didn't because at the core of her being, her soul essence, they're polar opposites. Night and day.

I do wonder and speculate that this was intentional on the karmics end. The karmic has been following them for lifetimes. It has learned them.

I also feel DC wants a partner who is strong and deep in their masculine energy. That means she wants someone who she can rely on to guide, lead and protect. Those are natural qualities of masculine energy. I'm being told she wants to be able to fall into her feminine energy. She wants to be soft and nurturing. She doesn't want to be the one having to lead anymore. I'm being told she feels has has been in her own masculine energy too long and she wants to step back and be allowed to be in her feminine.

And by masculine energy, I don't mean a big tough alpha male. A man can still be quiet and compassionate but firmly rooted in their masculine. Where they will lead and support their partner and families. Where they will protect and provide. And in turn, the feminine energy will nurture.

This is how I interpret it. Research the difference between masculine and feminine energies, and it will make sense. I'm already going on a tangent. The are terms I regularly use, so that's how I see it. Others might be wondering what am I going on about.

I couldn't tell you how their love story will end. Henry doesn't want his feelings and thoughts on the matter known.

I do feel like the door is still open. It's up to them with free will. Yay or nay. They can still find contentment with others. Doesn't mean it would be the end of the world for them if they decide not to. But I do think they're soul contracted, and I do think that would just mean there was a failure, and they would have to come back and try again. Take 2! Or 15! Whatever try they're on. Because if they sat down and broke it down, they would probably realize they share a lot of the same dreams and goals....because they came into life to achieve them together.

I will say, as someone who is being or trying to be, in her feminine, they don't pursue. They like to be pursued. It's not even a traditional thing or whatever society thing people sat. Masculine people like to be the ones to pursue. They like it. They enjoy it. In turn, the feminine also enjoys it. It's energy. You see it in the animal kingdom. Male birds put on a show for the females. Male deers bellowing and making their mating calls for does. Animals are connected to energy easier than us. They don't have the ego getting in the way. So, based on what I've been told, she will be the one who wants to be pursued. I don't know if she is even aware of it consciously or if she's "just letting love find me". I want to say she will not react well to groveling. I've had people comment that to me. That he would need and should beg for forgiveness from her. I think she would lose respect if he did that. The feelings and impressions I get are that she wants someone who stands strong. Who has a mind of his own. That holds himself with dignity. I think if he went sniveling and begging for forgiveness, it would be an ick for her. As long as he expressed genuine accountability, that would be enough. And I can already hear the comments saying well he hadn't seemed to stand strong before. And I think that did raise red flags. He will probably have to take that into consideration. I do feel like she has specifications in what she's looking for in a mate but I also will say he can be it.

I also don't want to say their lives revolve around each other. They did also come in with separate life purposes and lessons. They are still individuals who want to learn their own things.

I'm trusting I'm saying all this for a reason. It was not planned.

Henry is going to shut away and retreat. He is going to be hush-hush about his private life. So I will say you seeing DC if they manage to come into union will be unlikely. She feels like a private individual. So she wouldn't be putting herself out there. As for being in the spiritual community, I do agree. I do feel like there are lineage gifts. I feel a strong connection with the divine. And maybe that is helping her sense of calm and her letting go. I am not saying she is letting him go but just control of the situation and trusting Source will deliver what it deems best. She's letting go and believing in her protection. She's not fighting or chasing, but just letting it find her.

Thomas Astruc: I'm the only creator to have come up with a ladybug-themed superhero!

Kamen Rider Stronger, a show that aired in 1975:

Astruc thinks "binge-reading" comics makes him an expert on the superhero genre, which it really doesn't. "Binging" on something means moving on to the next piece as soon as you're done with the previous one. It's consumption where the point is to be done as quickly as possible with no time for thinking about what you're eating/reading/watching. He claims he "binged decades of comics" which is meant to make it sound like he read a lot of comics, but he mustn't have put much thought into what he was reading, since he says incorrect stuff like "Miraculous is like having Catwoman and Spider-Man in the same comic, except the genders are reversed" (Spider-Man comics have a prominent cat-themed female ally character already) and "girls are always sidekicks to boys" (all "girl versions" of boy heroes are actually independent heroes, especially Batgirl) all the time.

These mistakes are also really obvious if you ever watch or read anything based on the Batman or Spider-Man comics other than the movies, so they shouldn't have happened if Astruc really did read "decades of comics" as he claims. Black Cat is a prominent supporting character in Spider-Man comics and shows up in almost every cartoon adaptation and is even a love interest. Meanwhile, Batgirl is almost always depicted as an independent agent and not someone who answers to Batman, with the one notable exception of The Batman where she basically takes the role of Robin because DC executives were scared of having more than one version of any character in cartoons at the time. In fact, just looking at DC's comic lineup tells you that Batgirl has had several of her own solo books with no Batman necessary.

Basically, unless Astruc's "binge reading" was really more just glancing at the comics, he really should know more about the genre he claims to be subverting. His understanding of the superhero genre is on the level of a Buzzfeed article back when those were still a thing; people complaining about a movie or genre they've never watched and everyone thinking their distorted idea is the reality. Remember when "Belle has Stockholm Syndrome" was a common take on Beauty and the Beast? "Girls are always sidekicks" is that exact thing, people who have never read or watched Batman look at the name "Batgirl" and think she's a sidekick because she was inspired by one of the most famous superheroes ever both in and out of universe. It's like Astruc has heard other people talk about comics more than he has actually read them.

I'm saying of course he doesn't know about a super sentai giant like Kamen Raider. He doesn't even really know anything about the things he claims are direct influences on his work, like Batman and Spider-Man, the two most well-known western superheroes.

it was in France that one of those heists went wrong and he had to make the decision to wait for his team or to run away. DC waited for as long as he could, but ultimately, he ran away.

by the next morning, he was back in america. DC never looked up what happened to his team or where they went; he had done the unforgivable and that was to run away

the first few months back in his home country were a nightmare of paranoia and feeling guilty, but after traveling aimlessly he found himself at the forge almost everyday, simply existing
