That's enough.' or even 'You felt rejected and rejected back.' 'You asked what was the point of having these hands. You helped defeat AFO.'

Instead Deku only goes on to say basically 'you're unforgivable. you create misery and you know it so i'm stopping it here.'

If I squint, in a way, Deku is responding to the crying child thing? 'I was a crying brat' 'which is why I wanted to stop your sadness'.

But any comfort in that is ruined by the following 'because your sadness makes other people sad.'

Honestly the 'i wanted you to stop and you wanted to be stopped, so the sadness won't continue' sounds like the stuff Tenko's grandparents tried to do to dry his tears.

'I want you to stop crying, you also want to stop crying, so it's you creating this awkward sadness that's involves us troubling us.'

So we're back to making sure the victim suffers in silence and not bother other people? Yay.

Listen, I’m not against humanizing villains but some people in the MHA fandom act like the LOV did no wrong and were only thinking about society.

Like.. did we watch the same show? The LOV stated multiple times that they basically wanted anarchy.

I love the leauge and the potential they had and Iam also not against humanising them but little of them actually deserve it would get a proper redemption.

A lot of people seem to forget that toga was already introduced as a serial killer (she killed 6 people and performed blood letting and you can go as far as cannibalism on them)

Or the fact that Dabi only cared about bringing down enji and never actually spoke up about the kids that died in Dr Garaki's hospital.

Or how shigaraki somehow knew all along that afo was manipulating him and done nothing but played into his games. Shigaraki also never proves himself as a leader or worthy of redemption in canon.

Or stain who went around killing heroes left and right. The same with muscular.

Or moonfish who was a cannibal

Oh or maybe compress who I still have no idea why he is evil to be honest or i just forgot.

They all done bad things which is why they are considered criminals while they could be humanised like toga, Dabi, shigaraki and spinner that doesn't actually excuse their actions. The leagues backstory is supposed to give us a reason or a look as into why they became the people they did and how society failed them but it's NOT supposed to justify or make their actions seem ok.

Also the hypocrisy that the leauge members have is actually interesting and could be explored as a character trait that they learn to develop out of or keep with them and it becomes an integral part of their character.

YOU CAN BE A VICTIM AND DO BAD THINGS. A Villain CAN BE A VICTIM AND DO BAD THINGS. THE TWO CAN COEXIST

I simply hate it when people can only look at the leauge as just victims who were completely justified and done nothing wrong when in reality they aren't!!

I imagine him having a light quirk, able to manipulate it, create "flashbangs" and whips out of lights. And more things.

He'd be the sweetheart of his class, one that everyone loves.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in class 1A.

But would it be at the same time as Midoriya and the others, or would he be around Aizawa's age or in between? (Changes depending which RE we'd use for him.)

Anyways, he'd be popular with the people and heroes for his power, his golden heart and also of course, his appearance.

And yes, he would be a hero/someone that came from the States and ended up living in Japan, where the *ahem* greatest *ahem* heroes are.

He would be the hero that mainly works on fighting against that underground group of terrorists named Umbrella.

If he ever were to be quirkless instead, Id see him as that hard working officer that every Pro Heroes love and encourage. He'd be the "quirkless" person that people can't shit on since he does such a good job.

He'd love when he can work with heroes since he'd "secretly" admire them.

Wouldn't be surprised if he had heroes merchs and ended up having a couples of Deku, Shoto, and Dynamight's. And more new heroes's.

He wouldnt be for the "you have a quirk, you're better" kind of hierarchy there is and would try his best to change people's mind about quirkless and lower gifted quirk people.

Albert Wesker

This man, the secret head of the terrorist group Umbrella, a cruel and genius man.

He is already trouble on his own, so when he learns of All for One, at first he isnt sure of he should see him as a rival, another pion or an ally. He does seem strong, smart and reliable in multiple ways that Wesker like.

So when he first contact him and they end up joining hands, the chaos started. Who do you think helped the Doctor and All-for-One create those monsters? Yes, it was Him.

He never was in the spotlight, just like Shigaraki(AfO). But unlike that man, he never showed himself to the world, to the heroes and worked through other people, pions.

He injected himself with a virus mixed with a quirk and thats how he got his ability now.

Uses virus and mutated quirks as his weapons instead of just viruses.

He also is the one who actually started those syringes who increases people's quirks and decreases their judgments turning them into some more wild, strong people.

It would be a lie to say he doesn't love the chaos he creates or sees, it is something he quite enjoy it, it's entertaining.

Even when he partnered up with All-for-One, he knew that this was only temporary. He always has prefered working alone, especially if the other is also a very smart man, just like him.

#We really need to think more about this.

Spoilers:

My plans for Shigaraki are the most specific. And do involve him getting arrested! But the Heroes know that he is another of AfO's victims. A lot has happened to this kid, and no one really feels comfortable writing off someone who was manipulated from a young age and basically the puppet for a bigger villain.

So while he is in police custody where he cannot be a danger to others, he is getting help he needs. It'd be a long time before he's better, and an even longer time before anyone really lets him free(if ever). And even freedom would come with a lot of rules and restraints.

As for the rest of the LoV:

I need to hammer out the exact nature of what happens, make it all line up with their motivations.

But I have joked about Toya 'taking half the League in the divorce'. And that's kinda what he does?

He knew these people for a bit. He understands why people go villain. Hawks also still does his undercover bit and starts to befriend them.

And there's various ways for them to talk the others down from being part of the League. Some get the 'look I know your pissed at society but what's the point in killing randos?' speech. Some get the speech about exactly how bad the League is(because yeah they're villains but are they aware of how many of their members were kidnapped and manipulated and/or experimented on as kids/teens? Are they aware that some of the Nomu are children?). Ofc if appealing to morality fails, we always have the 'AfO wants to just destroy fucking everything and does not give a shit about you and your goals. Whatever you want in life, even if it's to continue being a villain, you can't have because everything will be gone!'.

So they manage to at least turn a handful of the league into more vigilantes than villains. In the long run they'll probably continue the more vigilante-angle, especially as our actual Heroes improve things around here(fuck the Commission!). Some would probably get caught and arrested, because they were villains and vigilantism is still illegal, but having helped the Heroes' side against AfO would get a bit more leniency.

You were sick of your partner blowing you off for some video game or to torment high school kids. What’s up with that? Who does shit like that? You didn’t choose this lifestyle to scar teenagers. You chose it to get back at the heroes who were good for nothing.

“Where the fuck are you going?” The 20 year old grabbed at your bag only for you to shrug him off. You ignored his constant call of your name, walking to your own room in the hideout to get the rest of your things.

“Hey. Answer me when I’m talking to you” With a grab to your wrist he spun you around to face him.

“Eat. Shit.” You shook free from his hold and walked out of the door.

Dabi and Compress just stood in shock at the way you talked to Tomura. You guys fought all the time but never did you call him by his childhood name. That caused Shigaraki’s blood to boil.

How dare she talk to me that way? Did she forget who I am? Shigaraki fucking Tomura. Mentored by All for One. I’ll have her killed.

The thoughts came faster than he could scratch. In the back of his mind he knew that he wouldn’t be able to kill you. Not after everything the two of you have been through. Ever since the two of you were kids you’d never had a fight like this.

Blood covered his finger tips as he slammed the door to what was your room. He faced Dabi and Compress with wide eyes.

“Go find her” his voiced rasped. “GO FIND HER NOW”!

You know that he sent the two most skilled members of the league after you. But did you care? Hell no. Your not a “Pick-me” or a push over. Whatever you want you take with no questions asked.

You know all the spots where they don’t bother to look or dare to go. So of course your going to hideout there.

You think back at the words that were exchanged between the two of you. “Did you actually mean what you said?” You whispered to yourself “Well of course I meant it at the time. And I still feel like he’s a spoiled brat. I mean yea his childhood was shit but after he was taken in by All for One he’s had everything handed to him”

“Y/n stop talking to yourself. You sound like Toga” A voice said from beside you.

“I’m not going back Dabi. Go away. You too Compress I know you’re in his pocket”

With a pop of his quirk, Compress appeared in front of you. “That’s no fun if you spoil the trick Y/n”

“Yea whatever”

“Listen” Dabi started, “We won’t force you to go back. We can always say that we couldn’t find you”

“And lose your life in the process? Yea right” you scoff, turning down another alleyway “I’m not that dumb. Compress is going to use his quirk, stick me in his pocket, and the two of u get tv privileges. I’ve seen it before”

You were pushed to the brick wall of the ally by rough hands. A pinky came into your line of vision and you groaned in realization. You glare at the two villains behind him “Y’all set me up. Nice plan Shigi”

“Shut up” he growled from behind Father, “You dare disrespect me as if I won’t dust you like you mean nothing to me?”

“I didn’t disrespect you. I spoke the truth. You lost sight at what you originally planned on doing” you spat back, “You’re going to kill me Shigi? Then do it. Kill me knowing that it was I who stayed by your side since we were kids. It was I who helped you practice your quirk. It’s AFO who’s manipulating you. Using your fucking emotions against you. I bet it was him who told you to kill me. Always need somebody to instruct you on what to do. Grow some damn balls for once.”

For the second time tonight, Dabi and Compress were lost for words.

You and Tomura stayed quiet for a while, the two of you never breaking eye contact. Tearing Father from off his face, He kisses you. Groans from the other two villains are ignored as he slipped his tongue past your lips.

What they failed to realize is that Shigaraki had his whole hand wrapped around your neck. The man pulled away with a smirk on his face at the thought of your dusted body. But once he opened his eyes his smirk fell.

No no no, this can’t be. You’re supposed to be dead. You’re quirk less how could you possibly still be standing there.

“Well I’ll be dammed” Dabi snickered.

“Seems like Madam L/n has a quirk repelling quirk” Compressed smiled.

“Well shit” You laughed, “Looks like your plan failed. Once again”

Shigaraki’s scowl returned as the grip around your throat tightened. “Why can’t you just die”

“Try harder...Bitch” you pushed the man away with newfound strength. “Can’t believe you tried to kill me while kissing me. If that doesn’t scream ‘Toxic’”

“Come on,” Shigaraki replaced Father on his face and grabbed your hand “We’re going back to the hideout”

“Like hell I am” You pull away from his grasp “You need to get your shit together Tomura”

And with that you were enclosed in a blue marble.

“Stupid Magician always trapping me in this damn marble. SCREW YOU MR. ABRA KADABRA. YOU TO YOU BURNT CHICKEN NUGGET. CANT STAND YOU THREE IDIOTS. I HOPE TO-“

“Dearest Y/N please stop rambling. We’re almost there.” Compress groaned.

Now that you think about it...how the hell are you in here in the first place? Why didn’t you repel this quirk? Did you even try? No you did not.

So you relaxed, putting all your concentration towards getting out of that small blue ball. Compress felt the marble shake in his pocket. Just after he stepped foot into the hideout he pulled out the marble and watched you emerge.

“Some timing” you strain. While stretching your limbs, you walked towards your room. But you weren’t alone. You felt him push you through the threshold and slammed the door behind him.

“Give me your hand” He demanded.

You rolled your eyes and placed your hand in his. “Normal people would’ve just stabbed the person that they wanted to kill”

“Stop talking.”

Shigaraki moved backwards towards your bed. Falling on his back when he felt the frame hit his knees, he pulled you on top of him. “Now, tell me why we’re fighting”

“Because you’re an abused emotional man-child” You respond, pushing light blue hair away from his face. “You need help”

“Don’t we all” he scoffs.

Your eyes would’ve rolled to the depths of your skull if they could. You took a handful of his hair and yanked it. “You know what the fuck I mean. You need to stop being the puppet that belongs to AFO and be Tomura. Get revenge for Tenko”

“He’s my mentor, not my puppet master” He bites back, leaving crescent shaped marks on your hips.

“So you’d rather torment highschool kids rather than the heroes that actually failed you”

That statement shut him up. Tomura closed his eyes and exhaled slowly. “You know you’re going to get me in a whole lot of trouble talking that way”

BnHA Chapter 277: Go Go Child Soldiers

Previously on BnHA: Horikoshi was all “hey guys I’m going to kill off Aizawa” and we were like “no you’re not” and he was like “watch me, I’m really gonna do it!!” and we were all “DO NOT” and he was all “okay okay geez.” I don’t know if he thinks he’s being cute or what, but we will probably have to have a little talk after this. Anyway, so other stuff that happened included the obligatory news copter showing up to record the carnage so that All Might and Eri can watch; Tomura activating some Approximately High End Noumus to serve as cannon fodder to distract all the hero extras; and Gran dropping off Kacchan and Deku a little ways away from the battle and being all “stay here”, which was IMMEDIATELY and PROFOUNDLY ignored as they just FLEW RIGHT BACK OVER TO THE BATTLE anyway to save Aizawa. Yep. Kacchan really wants to lose that quirk.

Today on BnHA: Tomura, Deku, Kacchan, and Endeavor all take turns flinging each other into the ground and launching fire and explosions and stuff, all of which is impressively violent and doesn’t really get anything accomplished. The grown-ups all collectively decide to shrug off Deku and Kacchan joining in on the fight as though they’re teenagers sneaking into an R-rated film as opposed to CHILDREN on a BATTLEFIELD, and I can’t help but feel like this very nonchalant decision will have some serious consequences! Tomura has a moment of self-awareness in which he’s all “is AFO possessing me lol” before deciding “NAH THAT CAN’T POSSIBLY BE TRUE” which, haha, okay. The chapter then ends with Mt. Lady unsettlingly taking on Gigantomachia ALL BY HERSELF??! which seems like a REALLY TERRIBLE IDEA?? and had better not result in anything bad happening to her though or I SWEAR TO GOD.

honestly it’s a little uncomfortable to think about the fact that the Child Soldiers That We All Agree Should Under No Circumstances Be A Part Of This War have so far a) saved Hawks’s life and b) now saved Aizawa’s, and by extension c) saved the entire world. I mean but don’t get me wrong, you still won’t see me writing the HPSC any thank you cards any time soon

anyway now that I’ve said all that, watch Aizawa just immediately lose his fucking quirk right afterwards though. WE’LL SEE

sadly I’m growing more and more convinced that he’s wrong on all three accounts there. you may think it’s your power and your body...

and wait though, because this is the first time that the idea of him not being in control of his body has actually been brought up, isn’t it? so that’s a nice big red flag there! up until now the argument could be made that even if AFO’s will is manipulating Tomura from behind the scenes and influencing his decisions, there was nothing to indicate that AFO could potentially take over his entire body. but now that Tomura has brought it up as a possibility -- even if he’s in denial about it -- I’d say it’s not only possible, but extremely likely! so that’s a nice big thing looming on the horizon there

and it also in turn gives us a potential solution to the question of “how can this battle possibly end without all of the heroes dying and/or Tomura losing?” because one has to assume that Aizawa’s quirk is going to be taken out of the picture at some point, whether it’s because of him blinking at the wrong time or being shot with a bullet or what. at which point Tomura would basically become unstoppable again and be free to just destroy everything like he wants. but now this introduces the possibility of him potentially taking himself out of the picture for the time being. like if he realizes that he’s in danger of being outright possessed, I could see him leaving them for now and running off to go wage mental war with himself for a while, giving the heroes some time to regroup and lick their wounds. so that’s interesting to think about

“I don’t want to become like you” -- I think we can take this as confirmation that Tomura will fight against AFO if and when he realizes he’s being manipulated. his loyalty to him isn’t completely blind. so that could have some potentially huge implications moving forward

anyway so his next thought on page 11 is “I want to be even greater than you”, echoing Deku (and Kacchan’s) desire to be even greater than All Might, which is yet another nice parallel between them

and he’s basically telling the AFO voice inside him to shut up now, as if it will actually listen

I want to say two limbs?? but I’m not even sure anymore, and lastly two more yet anothers are currently WHEREABOUTS UNKNOWN and MAY ALREADY BE DEAD. so if you’re counting, that’s a full HALF of what was already maybe only a fifth of the total pro hero population in general

Tokoyami takes full advantage of the darker parts of his quirk when he threatens you. You feel trapped in an eternal darkness, like the air was being stolen out of your lungs. He speaks simply, but full of venom. He's shrouded by this aura of calm vexation. He feels toxic to even be around and his apparent apathy makes it more scary. He feels no guilt when he's reached that point. He's one of the slowest to get angry, and when he does, there's no stopping him. You'd never been scared of the dark until that day.

Momo says how she can buy everything you own. How she could take everything that gives you happiness until you're a shell of what you once were. How she has connections, and could ruin your life with a simple phone call. She radiates pure, controlled rage and you want to get away as fast as possible. You feel as if you're going to die at any moment and from that day forward you'll always look over your shoulder, too scared to sleep.

Uraraka is right next to Shoto in scary, and beside Izuku in surprising. She threatens in smiles. Her usual cheery attitude and excitement don't fade as she happily tells you how she'll make your life a living hell. She laughs as she says how she'll make you watch everyone you care about die before you, knowing you could have avoided it. She doesn't raise her hand, but she leaves you trembling and wetting your pants. You'll have nightmares. Sounds like Toga? It's because they're girlfriends.

Shoto is incredibly blunt with his threats. He somehow corners you alone, and calmly tells you how he could kill you, make it look like an accident, get rid of the body, and get away with it. In excruciating detail. He'll leave you sacred for your life, and regretting the day you got on his bad side.

Tsu will stare into the depths or your soul, daring you to piss her off. Being incredibly blunt, she will, just to make sure you get the message, just walk up to you and threaten to slit your throat or something.

Izuku has, after the first year, gotten into the habit of outright threatening pro heroes. It's blackmail more times than not, he has the info to ruin them. It started with Endeavor, then slowly All Might, after he got sick of beings pushed too hard, and extended until all pro heroes that weren't Aizawa, Present Mic, or Fatgum were doing his bidding.

Tenya regularly subtly threatens to call Japanese CPS on Endeavor to knock him down some rankings on the hero list. Nothing he can be charged with, and nothing that anyone out of 1A can trace back to him, but threats to keep him in-line. Have to make him know his place every now and then.

Izuku and Shoto would be the heroes parents want their kids to look up to. Momo and Mina would be the heroes parents want their female kids to look up to, specifically.

You know how 1A all want to be like All Might (mostly)? When they find out what being a 'Symbol Of Peace' really entails, I don't think they'd want to be on anymore. So they'd become beacons of hope, with Izuku shining the brightest out of all of them.

I know they don't technically have to live together if they're all part of one big hero agency. But like. It would be so fun if they did. And with the local rich kids (Momo, Tenya and Shoto), God knows it's gonna be some big-ass mansion. And it'd be sort of a throwback of sorts to the dorms. And I feel as if they'd the be glad for that familiarity, with how much change is occurring. And also, Bakugo and Monoma under the same roof would be fucking hilarious.

I want to see Shoto deck a fellow UA student for saying the wrong thing. Like maybe they'd say "Bakugo acts like a such a villain, no wonder everyone is scared of him." And Shoto would just look around to see Ochaco holding Izuku back with identical looks of rage on their faces. He'd see Bakugo looking down at his feet, trying his best to look unbothered, but his frown is more sad than his usual one. He'd see the Bakusquad trying to convince him it's not true. He'd see Tsu with her fist clenched, and Tenya glaring daggers at the person, and just deck the guy. Incases his fist in ice, to make the blow harder. Kick him a few times too. And would look up at their shocked faces and shrug, "No one fucks with my family. And Bakugo? He's family. All of you are." Deku just starts bawling there and then.

There's no UA traitor, and they just forgot to remove Touya from the family group chat.

After Monoma realizes that no one stops Bakugo from coming after him when he says dumb shit, learns to control his mouth by their first year of working/living together. Interviewers would ask him, "How do you manage with number 2 (tied with Shoto) pro hero DynaMite trying to 'kill you the time?" And Monoma would just answer, with deep tiredness in his voice "Speed, self control, and not sleeping."

HC that Uraraka's quirk isn't zero gravity. It's gravity manipulation, so zero gravity is just a subsection of that. Her quirk exceeds the rules of zero gravity, and it's plausible that because she didn't have much money growing up, she wasn't able to get it properly tested, which should have been free, but we've established hero society is fucked up. This means, essentially, that she should be able to create a black hole. It'd take a lot of training, and a crap ton of effort, and she'd never do it, but she could.

The heroes should be glad 1A (Shinsou and Izuku especially) are good people. Because they could ruin them. They could take down hero society by themselves, and they all have been given reason too! They're just good people, and the heroes should appreciate that. Because the moment they stop being good people? It's all over.

HC that Aoyama is one of those kids that has known he was gay since birth, and never had to come out because people just knew.

Just realized something, feeling sad so you must too. Shigaraki could have been Touya's Izuku in another world. In a less fucked up universe, they could've been friends. Shigaraki- Tenko could have saved him.

Monoma is trying to start an enemies to lovers with all of 1A, Shinsou included. He obviously knows nothing about social interactions, maybe the poor boy is just trying to flirt the only way he knows how: being a prick.

In the Combined Hero Agency, fans and other heroes wonder how Mei keeps up. She's the only support hero, makes (though her interns help) and designs hero costumes AND support items for everyone in the agency, while also making them for her interns when asked, AND has time to participate in family game night every other week.

She really has no secret, just a love for what she does, hard work, dedication plus a lot of time and patience. That doesn't mean she doesn't endorse the rumors she has some secondary quirk or something, she actually enjoys fuelling the fire and watching it unfold. Fucking with the media is her favorite pastime.

At some point, Class 1A convinced Shinsou to make Endeavor to say "I'm a giant piece of shit" live on TV. And that was only after they swore up and down that he wouldn't be kicked out of the hero course, and promised to take the fall if anything goes wrong. The worst thing that happened was All Might trying to say what he did was wrong but he was told to fuck off.

The boys in class 1A like lending their jackets/sweaters/hoodies/jumpers to the girls. And the girls don't return them a lot, and only Mei, who feels bad if she keeps them, returns them, surprising the boys. You leave yours in the common room, don't expect it to be there in 30 minutes. And it didn't stop there. The boys also take each others' cover-ups (Shoto started this by asking to borrow Tokoyami's), and take the girls'. They find them comfortable and soft, and they nice-smelling. Basically everyone's wardrobes (private stuff is kept separately) is up for grabs by second year.

1A and (most of) 1B (+ Mei) are just like so, physical affectionate with each other. So much that even when they're pro heroes, the media isn't sure which relationships are which. Even when they clarify, they don't do anything to stop the rumors and even revel in it, fuelling them from time to time. Like, Ochaco would show up to an interview wearing Izuku's gloves, and the next she'll be in Tokoyami's sweater. Not to mention that her and Tsu are dating a (former) VILLAIN.

What if Momo like, buys a house. But not just a house. Like when they're still UA students, she buy a house for all her friends that don't want to go home over the holidays/weekends. It's (surprisingly) a lot of them.

Katsuki because he doesn't want to get yelled at after almost dying a crap ton. Denki because his parents will be mad about his grades, and he's trying, but it's so hard, and he can't focus. Ashido because she gets made fun of back home for her looks. Shoto because Enji. Tenya because he wants some time away from the pressure of his family to "live up to the Ingenium name", and don't get him wrong, he wants to be the new Ingenium, but he also when he just wants to be Tenya for a bit. Ochaco because she's tired, and wants a break. She loves her parents, but it's so much stress. Tsu because she'd rather be with her friends. Shinsou because he doesn't have a home. And much, much, more.

I think Dabi would've turned out more like Shoto if he had an Izuku. They were incredibly similar, in mentality and around the same backgrounds. The main difference is that Shoto has people to support him now, Dabi didn't. If Dabi had someone like Izuku to help him, help break down his walls, to make him feel validated, and seen (which, as I stan Shiggy and Izuku being siblings because AFO, could have been Tenko in a different world) he wouldn't be a villain.

Kids that are worried that they'd lose their friends when they become heroes would be So happy too. Like "I want to become a hero, but what if my friends and I lose touch? I don't wanna leave them behind, even if we're pros!" While they'd just be there like "we've been with each other since high school bro. they don't have to go nowhere lol"

HC that their fans would start to believe God is a woman, because Momo.

And like, they would be regular visitors at schools and orphanages. None of them ever got to be kids, and very few of them had good experiences with school, so they would want to inspire more kids. That they can become heroes, too. They'd definitely keep all the gifts they got, plus Momo and Izuku seem like the type to pin up every drawing they get from their kid fans in their offices, no matter how good/bad. It'd be good morale, and the kids of the next generation of heroes would have perfect role models to look up to.

It'd be cute if 1A didn't go on to start their own hero agencies. I mean, they'd have to figure something out with Tenya and Shoto, but I feel as if they would go on to make one, big hero agency instead. They have the perfect selection of quirks and personalities, from rescue heroes to support ones! With a bit of help from their friends, of course. (Yes, Mei is included. I love her too much not too)

Sero and Denki seem like the type to get (platonically) married, though Sero is aroace (personal HC) and Denki is dating Shinsou. No one even blinks an eye anymore, too used to their BS.

I HC that Shoto was previously very closed off with his siblings, even after he was allowed to spend time with them. I want to see, after spending time with 1A, him open up. Slight things at first, like offering to go for a run with Natsuo, or giving Fuyumi a kiss on the cheek, to going to amusement parks with Natsuo, and talking about his day and friends with Fuyumi. They not sure what caused this change at first. But then they meet Izuku, and the rest of the IzuCrew, and 1A, and suddenly it all makes sense, and God do they love these kids.

I want to see 1A actively antagonize Endeavor, but only when there's no one that would tell around. Like, anything they can get away with legally, and somethings they can't, but they make sure to not get caught. Natsuo loves it.

I have this HC that around the middle of the year, 1A just gave up on sleeping separately, or the "everyone sleep in your room" rule. After the horrific bullshit they'd been through together, they figured out that sleeping in the same room as each other helped the (inevitable) night terrors that came. And setting a time that everyone should be in their rooms was disastrous. So now it's common to see Shoto or Izuku in Tenya's room, or Mina and Kirishima in Bakugo's, or some nights they all just sleep in whoever has the most space at the time.

I want to see 1A when they're in 2A move into the dorms again. Like, Enji would go "Shoto I don't want you in the dorms this year." And Shoto, who's been waiting to go back since the dorms closed and has already packed all his shit goes ". . . You've gotta be shitting me, old man. I'm gonna go see my friends, who I value more than you. Fuck you." Then freeze him, grab his bags and run to the spot where the rest of the class agreed to meet, to get food then got to the dorms.

Shoto is constantly being used as the class portable heater, and has learnt to accept it, not without making the occasional "I went through years of abuse and trauma for this" comment though

Hatsume and Izuku should be friends. I feel like they'd understand each other. The others try, but they're the only ones who can keep up with how fast each other's brains go.

I want to see 1A visit Rei in the hospital. It started as Shoto introducing his friends to his mom, but they grew fond of her, and now visit her regularly to talk, and update her on what's going on with like Shoto, or school

Rei should be introduced to Izuku as "my best friend", Tenya as "the friend who stops me from doing bad things", and Kastuki as "my other best friend, though he denies it". Shoto with his lack of social skills would just go "Oh Bakugo? We're friends. He's like that with everyone."

Rei doesn't need to know about the murder, what she doesn't know can't hurt her. And whenever Shoto tries to mention it to her, Tenya just slaps his hand on his mouth to shut him up, or nudges him aggressively until he (after a long time) gets the message .

After a while, when Izuku is asked what hero he wants to be like, he responds All Might. Why wouldn't he? All Might is bold, courageous, strong, and always saves people with a smile. The perfect hero.

But in his mind, he only has one true answer. Eraserhead. Mr. Aizawa is the perfect hero, maybe not to the public, but to his problem children. He's always there for them, and hasn't failed them like a lot of heroes and the society at large has.

Aizawa-sensei is the epitome of everything they strive to be, and though they'll always give different answers: All Might, Hawks, Powerloader, Cementoss, Lunch Rush, there'll always be one true answer. Something only they know. Mr. Aizawa is the ideal hero.

Dark Shadow uses they/them or it/its pronouns. Just makes sense, considering Dark Shadow isn't human, and likely doesn't conform to the same rules of gender we do

Considering Shoto (canonically) trauma dumps to make best friends (Izuku and Katsuki), it's only a matter of time until he does the same for Tenya. Especially after the Stain arc. And I feel like it'd just SHATTER his world view of heroes and hero society. He sees it through even more rose-tinted glasses than Izuku, so the realization that someone wildly viewed as a hero could so such things and get away with it would be totally new to him. Especially because the only experience he had was with Tensei, who is the ideal hero.

Back on my 1A and 1B hero agency bullshit, all their interns love them. They're always so kind to their interns and treat them really well, despite how they normally are or treat their fellow heroes. They remember what it felt like during their own internships, being scared and on their toes. They don't want their interns to feel like that around them.

In their shared agency, Kota and Eri intern there of course, but so do a bunch of other hero students. Some from Gen Ed too, anyone they feel like have potential, application or not.

The Combined Hero Agency (I don't have a name yet) most definitely teach their interns quirkless self defense, for all the times their quirks have failed them or made things more difficult. Hand to hand and using a variety of weapons.

1A is used to Mei and Izuku (Sometimes Tenya tags along. Very rarely, Denki) meeting up to talk costumes and mad genius shit, with Izuku's quirk analysis and Mei's skill in building, 1A would have the best costumes.

Chapter 9 / Chapter 10

It takes two to Tango.

It’s always like this after using it, but of course a quirk like this would come with some dangerous side effects.

You watch your reflection in the mirror, all dark eyebags and bloodshot eyes. At least the bleeding has finally stopped, but the sink is a bloody mess, and the trash can is full of paper soaking in blood.

It feels awful, really. Physically and emotionally.

You could still feel Dabi’s bones bending under your quirk. His muscles and tendons stiffen like hard rock as the blood stooped its flowing inside of him.

As always, you let the anger get the best of you. It’s your worst defect, and now it will cost you dearly because there is no way the league lets you live after what you’ve done to Dabi. Shigaraki will decay you and that will be all, and if you weren’t as exhausted after all the crying and the bleeding, you would be fucking losing it.

A soft knock in the door forces you to clear your face from the tears before opening, shoving down the nausea at the idea of facing your imminent death.

“can we talk?” Toga asks, her soft face adorned with a little frown.

You let her in and close the door again, sitting over the toilet.

“I’m very sorry for what I did, Himiko-chan.” You sob quietly.

“I know. Hey…hey, don’t cry. I’m not mad.”

“I hurt you, I didn’t think clearly, I was so mad...”

“hey, it’s fine.” She states, her little hand touching your shoulder, trying to calm you. “I mean, when I first came to the league, Tomura, Dabi and I almost killed each other, so…I understand.”

“it’s not the same, Toga. My quirk is…I almost killed Dabi and I didn’t even touched him. I just…I, I’m supposed to help people, try to keep it down, but when I get angry…I’m a monster and now Shigaraki is going to kill me…”

“No, don’t say that. That’s not true.” Her voice is soft when she clutches in front of you. “look at me, hey. Look at me. We are friends. You just got angry. And you didn’t hurt me, and Tomura and Compress are fine. It didn’t hurt. It was weird but didn’t hurt. And Tomura-kun is not going to kill you.”

“really?”

“If Tomura-kun wanted you dead, you would’ve been an hour ago.” She answers, rolling her eyes. “can you tell me about what just happen? What is with your quirk?”

“it’s pretty simple, actually. It is call Torment. Is the ability to manipulate living tissue, tensing nerves, contracting muscle and bending bone. It’s a useless variation of a healing quirk, but I cannot grow new tissue, only manipulate it. I can keep wounds closed, I can relax your nerves, I can break your bones and stop your blood from flowing. I can stop your heart just by moving a finger and torture you by contracting all your muscles and nerves, but it’s dangerous for me. It’s too much effort to control a whole body, less alone four of them. I bleed, and I ache.”

 “wow. That’s why you look so terrible.”

“yeah” you laugh cleaning your tears. “I guess I do.”

“how do you feel now?”

“a little better. Still like shit, but I’ll be fine.”

You gather your courage and step out of the bath, finding your apartment as messy as you left it an hour ago, but this time is empty.

You give yourself to the task of collecting your destroyed laptop and removing the broken table from the view, looking for a way to repair the detached leg, trying to clean and erase any trace of the fight, enjoying your solitude for the first time in more than a week.

“this is going to cost me.” you say to no one, preparing yourself to the idea of buying a new computer as you move to your room. “I don’t have any extra money to-”

“I always knew you were hiding something.”

“FUCK!” You scream letting the pieces of your laptop fall again, covering your face with your hands when you notice Shigaraki’s arm crossed figure leaning against the wall besides your door. “dammit, Shigaraki. You cannot just…appear behind other people’s doors.”

“that’s debatable.” He remarks, an amused grin plastered in his face.

He watches you and something inside of you twist between excited and scared as his eyes scan you head to toe, the gears of his brain turning inside his head.

“What.”

“C’mon. I’m curious about it.”

“I bet you are.” You spit annoyed.

“Careful now. Look where that bickering mouth of yours got you an hour ago.” He warns you entertained.

“Don’t you dare to patronize me.” You warn already tired, a hand rubbing against your temple.

“I’m just asking about that funny little quirk you have. That and the little display of rage, who would have thought!”

You stare at him, weighting your options to no avail.”

“I can manipulate living tissue. Muscle, bone, nerves, blood. That’s all.

“That’s a pretty boring answer to such a memorable show.”

“This is stupid. What did you expect me to do, huh?” you snap.

“What makes you think I expect you to do anything?” He asks cunningly.

“I cannot stay there and let him berate people like it’s not important!” You can feel the verbal vomit gathering inside your throat, if you keep like this, you are going to say something you will regret.

“but it’s not.” He states rolling his eyes. “I didn’t care about what he said. You didn’t have to say anything.”

The moment those words are out, you smack your palm against your mouth, fully convinced you made a horrible mistake, so honoring your sense of self-preservation and improvisation, you oblige yourself to make some verbal stunt just to get out of this one, because you have a horrible scary feeling about the hungry look he’s giving you.

“I mean, I thought we could get along…all of us. Despite everything, I think highly of you, and I know you are a villain- villains who wants to destroy everything, but I thought we could be…”

“Friends? are you hearing yourself?” He spits; his mouth twitched in a hateful grimace.

Fear shoots through you in less than a second. Suddenly he looks more taller and menacing, as his steps makes you retrieve, until your back hits the wall on the corner of your room.

Yeah, you may not be afraid of Dabi, but Shigaraki Tomura is a completely different story.

“What are you doing.”

“What am I doing?”

“Get away from me.” you bark scared, as your eyes ignite in clear warning. The dark feeling pooling at the pit of your stomach send shivers through your spine, lifting the hairs of your neck in terror.

“Make me.” Shigaraki growls lowly the moment one of his hands trap your chin roughly, his pinky safely curled against his palm, but even like that you can almost feel how close you are from certain death.

He is pissed out of the blue, your brain failing at finding the exact moment shit went down before he decides to finally kill you, yet you don’t get it, all you did was…

He winces scanning your face searching for something, and the moment his eyes stops over your lips, you recognize the feeling.

He snarls like a wolf, looming over you, looking like he’s ready to kill you.

Or eat you.

“Are you done playing dumb?” he asks darkly, and you can feel the warm of his breath against your own lips and something far more complex and exciting than plain fear roaring inside your chest, begging you to push forward, begging you to kiss him.

“I said…are you done playing-“

“WE ARE BACK!” You both snap your heads to the door the moment Toga enters, screaming cheerfully while leaving a bag with candy over the counter, and before you know, Shigaraki is at the other side of the room, staring at you like you transfixed, digging his nails deeply in his neck, before storming out of the apartment, leaving you there, rooted in your room, finally remembering how to breathe.

“What’s wrong with him?” Compress asks as he handles you a pack of gummy bears.

You can still feel the warmth of his hand against your face, your lips still tingling with longing.

i just have a lot of kurogiri thoughts....

- in canon mostly because i really like the theory that he's an ex-ua student who used to be friendly with aizawa and yamada before his quirk pretty much failed him during a battle and instilled the thought of "never let someone chase an unachievable dream" in aizawa afterwards. he was in a vulnerable position during that time and afo, who seems to watch the ua tournaments and realized kurogiri's quirk had the potential to be incredibly useful to his organization, swooped in similar to how it was with shigaraki and with careful manipulation pretty much became in kurogiri's eyes his savior who helped him realize how horrible the hero society is and gave him a second chance at redemption via villainy. because of this he feels a strong sense of debt towards afo 

- since he hasnt seen what an ass afo is yet he'd do almost anything afo would ask of him without question.

- to add onto the above of being an ex-ua student thats also one of the reasons he constantly has his mist on. i personally believe he does have a normal human form underneath going off how 1-a pinned him down during the ua rescue center scene. having his mist contantly at the ready helps be more prepared for all the sudden unexpected situations villains can fall into as well as disguise him from both media attention and anyone who might recognize him (old friends-) given the fact he's considered legally dead.

- the only people aware of his well. origin story is afo and some of his trusted higher ups who assisted in readjusting kurogiri to their group and pushing him to further his quirk abilities to do what he can do now

- kurogiri never really thought of telling shigiraki about since to him that backstory doesn't matter as much as helping him grow as afo's heir and as kurogiri's adopted son

- the reason kurogiri got into bartending was because when he first joined and he and afo were trying to figure out when he;d fit best kurogiri just sort of realize afo tends to drink A Lot. with all his quirks, its hard for afo to be killed by more normal means like alcohol poisoning and some of them had the side effect of needing a Shit Ton before afo could really get drunk

- so kurogiri just ended up helping fix afo's drinks and over time it morphed into learning how to bartend

- his loyalty to afo s pretty much the only reason kurogiri originally started taking care of shigaraki. afo knew how loyal and steadfast to him and took advantage of it to give him the job of raising/babysitting shigaraki. tbh i don't think kurogiri was fond of shigaraki since the beginning and probably acted more like a butler/robotic towards him at first before the unrelenting Parental Instincts tm kicked in one day after almost a year of looking after him and suddenly realized "oh fuck this is my son"

- during the year of lowkey awkward parenting he was internally having a crisis since in my mind he never really ever thought of having kids during his time as a hero in training so suddenly having the responsibilty of looking after one you know nothing about and is already pretty grown vs wanting to please afo who trusted him enough with the task made him p conflicted during the time

- thankfully(?) afo was the most active in shigarakis life during the beginning years so kurogiri didn't have to have his crisis while being a single dad as well. as shigaraki got older afo just started to withdraw more when he thought shigaraki and kurogiri were getting along well enough and weren't about to fight/betray him any time soon

- if the lov ever decided to break their assosiation with afo, kurogiri would likely still go with lov to make sure shigaraki and crew stay safe and that none of them get too hurt. despite that, he'd still retain quiet loyalty to afo due to his blind faith in him and would probably keep him updated if asked, thinking of it as a "father knows best situation"

- for the lov to be able to have his Total Loyalty, really the only person who could sway him would be shigaraki himself. as much as he feels like he has a debt to afo, shigaraki has pretty much become his own son in kurogiri's eyes (which he likely wouldnt outright admit-) and anything he'd tell him about afo would pretty much be the only stories kurogiri couldn't bring himself to cast doubt onto

- honestly in general shigiraki is pretty much the only one besides afo that he's willing to listen and consider anything he says. everyone else he might listen to but internally there's a possibility hes not really listening depending on the topic. like above, sometimes he thinks he just knows better though he is willing to admit whenever he's wrong

- mild projecting but besides shigaraki his favorite that he won't outright say is his favorite is toga. besides yknow the murdering which tbh doesn;t really bother him, he pretty much sees her as a a+ daughter and is just "lmao your lost" at her family. the only thing he doesn't like about her is when she goes out of her way to aggravate shigaraki or when she starts killing people suddenly and it throws off lov's plan

- he takes great pride in looking nice and presentable and while he might be willing to wear more casual clothes in his rare free time, he refuses to wear clothes like those free tshirts you get at events or his pjs outside his room.

- lowkey passive agressive about s o m e people not wearing socks t o m u r a. or not wearing long enough pants like arent your fucking ankles cold?

- kurogiri does also enjoy being a gentleman to go along with his professional aesthetic since like. just cause youre a villain doesnt mean you gotta be a dick yknow? too many heroes do that anyways (@ endeavor then perish)

- can swear but unable to around children 

- (shigaraki once heard him say fuck when he thought he was alone and its haunted them both ever since. neither of them talk about it)

- he's a villain so like. he doesnt feel bad about killing people or watching them get killed. he was literally willing to murder 13, all might, and 1-a and only didn't because renforments arrived. during their first meeting with toga and dabi, his concern was less about shigaraki killing someone but the concept of shigaraki killing someone who could be useful to their cause. if shigaraki had weighed the options and told kurogiri "yeah im gonna kill them theyre useless", kurogiri wouldnt have seen anything wrong with not stepping in again when shigaraki does so. 

- the only people he would feel bad for killing would be very young children since they remind him too much of how shigaraki used to be. parents of said children have a 50/50 chance depending on how they act

- kurogiri does try to let shigaraki be a grownup tm since hes like. 21 and make his own decisions but he really does have a habit of babying him since hes seen all the stupid shit hes done and said since he was like 5-6 and it all flashes in front of his eys sometimes

- for all the members who Can drink legally hes memorized their usual drinks by now. some of them (magne, twice, spinner-) probably use this to look cooler to recruits but everyone else Knows

- purposely says things like “the pokemens" in front of the younger members to set their fight or flight reflexes off

- video games are basically the only thing he really keeps up to date with pop culture wise tbh. whenever someone pulls him into playing one with them, he just acts like an old man who doesnt understand how to use controllers and lets them win to be nice. if he wanted he Could Destroy Them

- kurogiri doesn't dad anyone who doesn't want a dad figure showing up. he'll still do things like make sure they're being as safe as a villain can be and act as a mediator but otherwise they won't get much witness much dading unless its directed towards someone else

Anyway the entire point of this is to disprove as thoroughly as I can the idea that heroes are allowed to kill if they judge they need to and in fact do so commonly, we just don’t hear about it because the story's not about them, and therefor Hawks killing Twice was somehow normal. Have I done that? Can we put that to rest please?

Well no actually, you didn't?

Endings words are meant to be a general rule, and even then he's contradicting himself here because he's expecting Endeavor to make an exception for him (in spite of the fact he's just a small fry villain). He expects Endeavor to kill him to save Natsuo's life, and at no point in that encounter does he imply that there would be any kind of consequences for Endeavor if he did do so. There is absolutely no question of Endeavor losing his license: Ending argues against moral objections Endeavor might have (by saying he's the same as the Nomu) - implying that these moral objections are what's stopping Endeavor. Not that it would be career-ending for him.

Heroes clearly don't kill "commonly", but, also clearly, it happens. While Hawks is the only hero (apart from Nagant) that succeeded at killing a villain in the story, he's far from the only one that tried:

You bring up All Might's first fight with AFO yourself, but in his second, very public (even televised) fight, he was also clearly using lethal force and the people were cheering him on. Nobody had any concern whatsoever about him United-States-of-Smashing AFO's skull into the ground.

Speaking of All Might (society's supreme ideal of heroism), no one batted an eye when he made the USJ Nomu fly into the sky either. This was before people knew Nomus weren't just humans, but no one even expressed an ounce of surprise or concern. Not the kids, not the teachers. (and you know, if lethal force was such a no-no, kids and school teachers are the people you'd most expect a reaction from)

Iida wanted to kill Stain. "I'll kill you for what you did!". Oh he was blinded by his desire for revenge, sure, but sill - the kid comes from multiple generations of heroes. He was raised to be one. And it didn't seem like he had any thought about possibly not being allowed to become a hero if he kills Stain.

In the PLW, the pro-heroes present were immediately gunning to have Shigaraki permanently ended, no questions asked (before he was even out of his tude). And they kept trying relentlessly in the battle afterwards. Endeavor, Mirko, Mic, etc. But what's even more telling is that the kids were doing the same - Deku, Nejire, Bakugou, Shouto. At no point did anybody stop to consider the fact they are using lethal force on a villain. They would have killed him many times over if not for his regen - it was their objective ffs - and that wasn't treated like a big deal at all.

So yeah, no, in order to protect people heroes kill when they have no other choice, and it doesn't ever surprise anyone in-story. The only reason Hawks killing Twice could have been a big deal is because Dabi doctored the video to make it seem like he murdered a helpless, pitiful guy who was running away. Dabi lied and said he did it without hesitation (when we know Hawks tried to talk to Twice, offered him an out, even instinctively saved him from Dabi's fire at one point, and kept stalling until he had no choice left - until it was that or letting him go). Dabi also of course didn't mention that Twice was going to help his dear friends destroy society if Hawks hadn't intervened. And in spite of Dabi going out of his way to manipulate the truth, the people still didn't really care all that much.

I'm also going to add that this just makes the world of BNHA realistic. Cops (or even just regular people) are allowed to kill in self-defense or in defense of others because it would be stupid if they weren't allowed to. As far as I'm aware, there's no country in the world where this isn't the case. And people don't give a shit about the lives of terrorists and serial killers. In both the world of BNHA and the real one if someone has an unfortunate tendency to murder innocent people, then yeah the people would feel better if that someone was dead.

So promoted by the recent discussions I’ve taken part in regarding Hawks killing Twice; let’s talk about heroes killing villains in HeroAca, and namely how prior to Hawks killing Twice, it just didn’t happen.

See, in the world of HeroAca, heroes don’t kill. That’s not some moral ideal to hold yourself too, it’s just a fact of life. The biggest source we have for this is the villain Ending telling us this, and we can tell he’s honest because he’s looking for an exception in Endeavor (Plus him being factually correct was the entire basis for that fight).

Heroes don’t kill in even the worst of situations. Even deep in a villain stronghold, facing down villains that won the genetic lottery like Overhaul, Muscular, AFO himself, and what should’ve been Twice; even the lowest ranked hero would be expected to bring them in non-lethally. And they always met those expectations. No part of that is considered unreasonable, it’s just a part of the job.

If you’ll forgive some speculation, what that probably means is that heroes who did kill would be striped of their licence, probably charged, maybe even as villains for quirk-based murder/manslaughter. It’d make sense, hero society very much depends on heroes being squeaky clean moral guardians; any blemish would need to be dealt with quickly and with prejudice to maintain the trust in heroes that keeps hero society running smoothly.
