You're my favorite person on this entire goddamn webbed site for the sheer uniqueness of your posting energy. Most people on tumblr (and social media in general) have a very vibes-based approach to constructing posts and interacting with communities - finding common ground in shared experiences. Conversely, you seem to go about the task of posting with the air of a particularly enthusiastic scientist - not that you're someone Other, or that you have any less love for the posting game in general, just that all of your posts seem very specifically crafted to test what portions of a take or an idea will resonate (positively or negatively, both are equally valuable) enough with tumblr's userbase to generate the most responses. We are the neverending supply of extremely susceptible lab rats and you are the person in a lab coat taking detailed notes on our behavior when you drop a new item into our enclosure. Sometimes the rats argue back, but that's just as crucial a part of the scientific process as anything else.

Imagine mister 'interparty romance is the devil' visiting court just to see these three circling each other like a pack of uniquely unhinged cats. And of course he sees it immediately, he's nothing if not perceptive and he's seen this happen so, so many times before. Kabru is hardly subtle in his fascination with Laios, who trusts him in turn more than nearly anybody else. He can see how close Mithrun and Kabru still are, even when there's little reason for the former captain to even stay in Melini. He can see where this is going. And he can see the disaster it's gonna end up in.

So he's just staring at them in horror, trying to figure out what in the world the dynamic here even is and glaring daggers at Kabru all the while for seemingly being the linchpin of this entire bullshit situation. King, his adviser and a fucking foreign noble?? Who thought THAT was a good idea! Is nobody else seeing this?? (no lol) Why is nobody objecting to this politically unsound love triangle that could literally ruin the kingdom they've only just established??

The anger! The distress! The despair when he first sees Laios getting all giddy when Mithrun so much as talks to him. Because hell, now he can't even blame the entire situation on one pretty boy insisting on having fingers in every possible pie, on political and personal level both!

And then they just. Quietly get together. All three of them. And Chil's just watching from the sidelines in complete bafflement because he's invented infinite worst case scenarios for how this will implode in all of their faces and destroy their friend group and topple the entire country and--

Instead they do. This. He'd be relieved if he wasn't so goddamn mad that he's spent months worrying about this shit just for them to resolve it in the least dramatic way possible.

Fuck this, he's taking a holiday.

aziraphale pushing crowley against a wall and kissing him with his entire soul in the middle of an argument about why he left. crowley yells "why would you leave everything you have? why would you leave me?" (breaking as he speaks and tears pouring) and azi just stops, walks towards him, and just kisses him with everything he's got, and without leaving more than an inch between their faces, whispers "I left to save you. you've protected me for six. thousand. years. and now they were going to destroy you, destroy your earth, and this was all I could ever do to save you."

then more discussion, tears, kissing, and crowley being absolutely wide-eyed she'll shocked at the first physical contact he's had with aziraphale since the f15 being that.

I wish I had this clear enough in my head to write out in a proper fic but do you see the vision?

grumbo are best friends that are in love with each other but too scared to risk the beautiful friendship they already have by confessing, and they let it eat them up inside to the point it becomes detrimental to their relationship, but they'll still never admit it out of the deaf fear that the other would reject them, never dare act on their burning desires they've let fester for years, because their friendship, their bond, is so important and precious to them that they'd rather die with the knowledge of how much they love them than risk what the unknown entails

meanwhile, scarian happened fast and quick and neither of them saw it coming and when they were out on the other side, they were left reeling and living with the knowledge of how much they had fallen in love with each other, how they'd come to know each other so carnally and devotedly in such a short amount of time and yet it had felt as natural as breathing, and now they can't go back, and they don't know why, but they know they were supposed to just be friends but now they live with this knowledge forever and the knowledge that those feelings would never go away entirely, and they're trying to just be friends but they keep failing and it keeps happening but they just have to keep ignoring it no matter how much it feels like it would just be smarter not to, to just give in and let the blind adoration and desire consume them
