The man standing in your kitchen, knife in hand chopping away humming low to himself while he prepares dinner. He's beautiful like an angel, slim muscular frame, blonde soft hair, the bluest sea eyes and a smile that makes everyone melt. All of that and he was yours. You got to hold his hand, to have silly talks with, to kiss each morning and night. He was yours and yours alone. But something wasn't right. He was the perfect gentleman, he was funny, charming and overall everything you could ever ask for so what's the problem. You are. Your hands clenching at your sides while you stare at this perfect man. You love him don't you. The way he makes your heart flutter, the butterflies igniting in your tummy with every touch, a smile gracing your lips every time you make eye contact. It was love, pure unfiltered love. So why? Why haven't you told him those three words. Why can't you tell him how you feel. He's told you time and time again and all you give is a smile. He knows he wont get a response, he doesn't blame you. He knows you have some trust issues, some problems with self love and expressing your feelings. He doesn't say he loves you for you to feel guilty, no he says it because he means it. You're the absolute world to him, regardless of when or if you say it back. And he wants you to know how loved and cherished you truly are. There has never been a moment when you didn't feel loved or cared for. He has done nothing but respect you, has always been there for you and supported you through everything. So why, why can't you say it. Your eyes filling with tears as you try and hold back your emotions, it's hard, why does it have to be so damn hard. Biting your lip a little too hard you close your eyes letting tears spill over your cheeks. 'This isn't fair, this isn't fair' you chant to yourself in your head over and over again. Why does this have to be difficult, 'Taz I love you' it's that simple so say it. Look him in the eyes and tell him how you feel. You bring your hand to your chest clutching at the fabric over your heart. It hurts, it feels uneasy, it's scared. Why am I like this, he deserves better right? Negative thoughts swirling your mind, over crowding the already messy place. "Babe," Your eyes snap open meeting the cool blue ones across the room. The worry instantly clear on his face. Dropping his knife and throwing the dish cloth on the counter he runs over to you in record time...

I like to imagine that Finn and Noah will exaggerate the Byler kiss soooooo much

And that's just this episode, but there's so many little moments in all of their campaigns that really read as ''I will fuck you up <3'' ''I know and I am walking into it with open eyes <3'' from both of them, never hold any punches, because they know the other one doesn't want them to, just. Inflicting emotional damage on each other for funsies is a love language I guess?

i've litchrally been going crazymode listening to Maintenence Phase, which is my current favorite podcast, and i highly highly recommend it if you like informative podcasts about debunking misinfo around the wellness/health/diet sphere. it's also just really fucking funny, Michael Hobbs and Aubrey Gordon are great hosts and i love their chemistry together. i'd say "if you're a fat person, you gotta listen to this shit" but honestly i don't even need to be that specific, i just think it's good listening in general. like actually, i think skinny people with or without fat friends would greatly benefit from hearing some of these episodes.

You mention Ibis tissue in some of the posts, and I read the old post about it - has the lore changed since then? Does it have anything to do with the bones of God at Godtomb?

I'm very flattered! I don't think of Thrones as particularly creative but I suppose that's because I know all the ingredients for them... Actually let me take this post as an excuse to go into them a bit!

I extremely enjoy taurs and human "hybrid" style creatures like sphinxes a massive amount, but there are a ton of artists who's particular styles and sensibilities have inspired me. Coming to mind off the top of my head are artists on social media like Bwusagi, Suzumori521, Deerchip, Theveryworstthing, iliothermia, and definitely more...

I tend to collect a lot of art of centaurs, sphinxes, harpies, and dragons that catches my fancy, here's some of it:

Jim Woodring is one of my inspirations for Thrones that people tend to clock, and they're correct. It's probably the colors, patterns, eyes, shapes.....

And for the second question, yes! The tissue was once on the bones, although the Ibis tissue used in the temples for the creation of dagnyds is much more equivalent to a cell culture than anything at this point. It's desire to grow and take form is the creative force that humans have harnessed to create dagnyds..... for better or worse.

I don't have any art of it i'm happy with, but here's some several year old pixel art of an Oracle Computer, which is filled with the stuff. Honestly though, I don't think "black goo" is very compelling or visually interesting considering what the stuff actually is. It needs work.

the fact that neil chose andrew out of them all is so dear to me. that andrew chose neil out of them all is so dear to me. that they chose each other is so dear to me. and at the same time it seems inevitable? like of course they chose each other, like of course no one else would be possible. they are what the other needs and that’s why they last. they are so compatible it’s scary.

and the fact that nora said if andrew didn’t have neil he never would’ve gotten happiness proves my point. I know some want to have the whole “you don’t need anyone to be happy” kind of mindset but in my book you’ll always gonna need people. It’s inevitable. and not finding the one who gets you, can make you miserable. It’s hard to find, but it’s so so sweet when you do and I’m so glad andrew got blessed with it. He got the one. and through hard work (therapy etc) he made him last. neil never became the one who got away because andrew worked hard enough to not self sabotage anymore. he learned to recognize neil as a good thing, an important thing and eventually he learns that neil feels the same and will never be the one to hurt him. he won’t be like tilda. so they make it last. and that’s everything.
