I see so many debates lately on my feed about how canon Stiles would not be a great pack mom and how he's insufferable and pushy and hard to interact with and he's this dudely dude and annoying. And that Derek is a bad leader and is very easily manipulated.

And as a person who's never watched the show I genuinely don't give a fuck like lol I'm not sorry. I've stumbled upon sterek fanfiction on ao3 several years ago and I can't leave this swamp.

Bamf Stiles is nice. Snarky, bitchy, like you said, he has his place in the fandom. But there is also soft Stiles, who's "the glue of the pack", who's doting and a mother-hen. Or an absolutely deranged villain, I like that Stiles, too. And it's beautiful that we can take the characters and explore them and transform them and put them under different circumstances and backgrounds and see how they change. I wish we could stop these pointless debates and bashing of other people's work and just enjoy our love for sterek and for Derek and Stiles on their own.

Personally I make friends and engage with people both through tumblr and discord! Definitely on discord you get more opportunity to speak with a bunch of people at once while on tumblr you can cultivate one-on-one relationships through reblogging, sending asks, and dming people. There are also tumblr communities which are like forums basically for more group focused communication. We've got one called Codywan Nation and you can hit up @snowywinterevenings for an invite! It's just a spot of silly fun in there- making polls, sharing wips and headcanons, and generally hyping each other up 💗 But yeah, I think tumblr and discord are both great places to bounce codywan braincells back and forth like the most deranged game of ping pong ever.

Here on tumblr you can find events to sign up for, such as gift exchanges, when they pop up just by following lots of people who share your interests and also by following @swfandomevents.

There are codywan focused discord servers like @mustachecody and @codywanweek, along with servers focused on Jedi, clones, specific characters, etc that I'm sure would also be great ways to make friends. Often people in servers will also promote events they're running/excited about. Some servers even run their own events you can participate in!

I know there are people who use dreamwidth for gift exchanges and kink memes but I haven't personally used it so I can't give any advice on that front. It's definitely worth looking into though!

Secondly, The way you write Klaus. Yeah he is such an arrogant ass even being a prisoner. But I love that idiot for these qualities 🫠 ( Stupid me🤧)

I was tearing up when he asked Vincent about his Caroline 😭 ( My babies are missing each other so bad❤️‍🩹😭)

Finally, my guilty pleasure, Caroline and Elijah reunion🤧🥹. Oh how much I missed them both.

Chapters where I objctively don't have Klaus and Caroline interacting always make me double nervous. I'm a naturally anxious, obsessive person, but this really gets to me. It doesn't happen very often, but there were a couple throughout the story and this is another one. Even when they're together in a scene, I still try to make a point of making the whole thing always about them somehow (because who are we kidding, this is the sole reason I'm writing this), but I never know how successful it will turn out until I post it. I used to have a test audience, but I don't anymore so it's always a surprise. 😂 So reactions like this really make my day and help make me more confident going forward. 🥹

And thank you for bringing up Klaus actually. 😂 I had a lot more fun writing him being a level A little shit while imprisoned than I should. I especially made that whole scene with Alistair a lot more dramatic than it was. Klaus didn't kill half the people or said half the things he did there on the show. lol He went in a completely primal derangement state there and I really liked writing that part. So I'm especially glad that you enjoyed it!

And then of course we went from that to him asking Vincent about Caroline, so. 🥲 From 100 to 0 in a second. 👌

I honestly feel so bad for Nat. She seems like such a fun and sweet girl and I would kill to be friends with her, and I'm sure there are very valid reasons as to why she doesn't post about dating Evan like crazy. The whole comparison between her and his old girlfriends is so unfair. They're not the same people, maybe Nat just doesn't feel all the romantic posts are necessary? I mean, looking at her posts before dating Evan, I don't think she's ever posted about her relationships much. It's always her partners or her friends posting photos or she has one here or there, and then maybe reposts some stories about herself or her friends. You don't have to blast something online for it to be real or a good relationship. You seriously can never win with these types of fans, genuinely, because even if she did do that like they want, they would paint her even more like a fame or gold digger. Yet, wouldn't they do the same if they were dating Evan? But of course, it's ok, because she's actually a bad person and they're not (based on no evidence of course other than their own delusion and nit picking.) And of course, as soon as she stands up for herself, she again can't win. They want her to respond, yet as soon as she does and she makes some poor or vague wording choices, now it's "They broke up" "She's doing what Fran did and pretending they're still together" "She said they're just friends" "She's insecure" "Why did she respond, she should have just blocked them!" (All real quotes I've seen on Instagram.) I mean it's baffling. The pressure is insane on this woman just trying to live her life.

Logic doesn't register to these people for real. It doesn't exist in their world.

For however long their relationship lasts, I truly hope that Nat is coping fine with all the negativity and has the support of Evan, her family and friends at all times about this. And in the same note, hopefully it will all die down eventually and she can be present online peacefully. They're slandering her and dragging her across the floor for a man, who if he knew of their behavior especially, would never even consider looking their way. And the fact that some of the worst of these people actually got to see him last month and he had no idea makes my stomach churn like crazy. Like, what is this deluded thought that saying all of this might make Evan happy or applaud you? You fan over this man and say you love and care about him, yet you drag someone he loves for what reason other than jealousy and threads? Do they seriously not realize that Evan would never approve of this and probably sees what they're doing and is enraged by it? And then to have the audacity to show your face to him and pretend you aren't doing those things behind the scenes like it's your full time job? brother EUGH. I know we like to joke and get a little silly on here, but in all seriousness, I hope Nat and her friends are aware of this blog and read it and feel at least a little comfort and hope with being in the community, because this is deranged. The fact that she had to limit her comments genuinely makes me so sad, it shouldn't get to that point, and I also seriously just personally enjoy Nat and her content. shanks is a very possessive alpha despite how warm and inviting he is as a person; when other alphas and even beta men are around mihawk he instinctively wraps his arm tighter around his mate (if they’re next to each other) or just glares at anyone who gets too close to mihawk until eventually walking over and getting between them (to which mihawk will sigh but accept his alpha’s warmth)

omegas can be possessive too but mihawk doesn’t really strike me as the type? he knows shanks is his and he’s terrifying enough to scare off anyone who tries to get close to shanks just by looking in their general direction… any instance where mihawk would get possessive over shanks would be terrifying for everyone around them probably and shanks would be EXTREMELY turned on by it

shanks’ ruts are… intense to say the least; it’s a good thing mihawk can take him so well because shanks’ ruts would be hell without mihawk, not only because mihawk can take rough and big dick and big knot and in the event that shanks’ loses himself (because again, his ruts are intense, even if he grows to be able to handle them better as he grows older) can handle and even welcomes the intensity, but also because mihawk knows how to soothe him when in that state in a way only he can.

So the premise is that Tim has a different partner in every universe so people who hop through the multiverse have started to use him as sort of a signpost to tell which universe they're currently in. Mostly a crackfic ngl xD

Feeling more bored now and willing to make stupid decisions, Bernard calls the bottle and gets the usual round of cheers.

A sound of protests and the rustling of clothes grabs his attention just as he sets the bottle into spin, and he looks up just in time to see Laura pulling some guy down next to her by his collar.

The dude nearly faceplants but manages to steady himself enough to fall into a sitting position and when he looks up, Bernard stops breathing.

There is complete silence for a second before even more cheers erupt and Laura is clapping and Tim is…there and Bernard looks down so fast he thinks he'll get whiplash to see where the bottle has stopped and-

Bernard is too dumbstruck to even notice that the bottle would have landed on Laura had she not pulled Tim down.

Robin puts his hand on the back of Kon's chair, preventing any escape attempts and leans down so they're the same level. The white lenses of his mask are practically boring into his own blue eyes.

It's at this moment Conner realises he has stopped breathing.

Still without breathing he manages to squeak out a small

The white lenses blink and linger for a bit longer before retreating.

Tim, the bastard, shrugs and walks away again and over to the coffee machine.

Kon realises he missed the beep signalling that the beverage was ready.

He sends a death glare to the other's cape covered back.

"Yea no need to respect my personal space, Wonder."

The sounds of metal against porcelain fill the space as the sugar gets added to the coffee.

"I had to check, didn't I?" Tim simply shrugs his shoulders again and takes an experimental sip. Kon silently hopes that he burns his tongue.

Unfortunately the robin looks satisfied with the taste test.

Noticing the silence and glaring from his friend he puts the cup on the counter.

"You're sulking."

It's a statement.

Conner continues the silent treatment. How Tim can be so blasé with this whole situation is beyond him.

Anyway he gets rly good at programming and tech and is basically Oracle's backup and has access to almost everything that she has access to so he frequently pops up in places. Batman also has him run missions from time to time and takes on the alias Heartbleed.

Meanwhile Jason gets to join Teen Titans with Bart, Kon and Cassie who have been on and off in several teams but just can't seem to work in a team for too long (because they're missing 1/4th of Core 4).

Anyway Tim gets a mission to bring something for Jason to the titans tower and gets in because he literally has the access codes and runs into Conner when raiding the titan's fridge for a snack.

⛷️Skii resort - Tim is benched but is trying to sneakily keep working on a case involving kryptonite smuggling and catches that the smugglers are bringing the stuff somewhere out of Gotham. Coincidentally his school's annual skiing trip is coming up and oh would you look at that it's in the same place the smuggling is being taken! Naturally he employs the help of his best friend Conner Kent who he just tells people is from a different class and fakes a file for him in the system.

Meanwhile Bernard, shocked that Tim is actually taking part in school activities, decides this is the perfect chance to confess his feelings for the Wayne... Except he can never find him after the last group activities of the day end, and when he does see him it's always with some curly haired guy with glasses.

And ever since Tim was outed as bi there's been a steadily growing competition for the Drake-Wayne boy.

'

"Well it's about the crush actually." He starts in a hushed tone as Darla groans in the background. He may or may not have sought her guidance when he realised his feelings, completely bypassing the fact Darla herself also used to have a crush on Tim.

"So you know how this trip was supposed to be the perfect chance for me to …well… you know." His voice drops to barely a whisper "ask him out. He's actually right across the room right now so I have to be discreet."

"Oh? Then why are you calling me instead of cuddling up to the heartthrob?"

Bernard bites his lip as he sneaks a glance over to Tim.

He would love nothing more than to cuddle with him right now. Unfortunately however…

"Because a new challenger has appeared."

Another boy enters the room, carrying a steaming cup of coffee and makes a beeline straight over to Tim. He plops down next to him without any hesitation, and to Bernard's dismay Tim immediately leans into him.

Bernard feels like crying again.

"Okay and? Plenty of other boys and girls are crushing on him. You know this." Laura's voice washes over him in a calming manner.

"This one's different." He responds without letting her go on, eyes still trained on the pair on the couch.

Tim somehow looks more at ease now, the previous tension having left his shoulders, and the glasses guy is wearing an amused look as he peers over Tim's shoulder to see what he's doing on his phone.

Glasses guy -no- his name is Conner. Conner nudges Tim with his shoulder, but gets no response.

Bernard wonders if Tim is going to shoo him away, as he always does when someone bothers him when he's busy.

Conner's smile only grows into a cocky (admittedly handsome) smirk and he lightly shakes the styrofoam coffee cup in his hand. Styrofoam? Did he go to a coffee shop? How is it still piping hot then?

"Tired?" He hears Conner ask.

"Mhm." Tim's response is barely audible, though anyone could guess it from the dark shadows under his eyes. Bernard wonders just what his friend is doing during the nights.

Bro in all honesty i ship shinaya in a good day. or bad day. it depends on how u feel about it to say if its a good or bad day. my shinaya headcanon is they date on and off and whether they do end up together or not depends on how i am feeling that day 💗 shinaya is kind of an awful trope but out of nostalgia and love for the characters i still ship it. shintaro and ayano post str going through the messiest breakup ever that distances them (but still see each other bc they literally have all the same friends) but when they find they way to each other again as more mature people they end up together again OR stay close friends. i like both.

but in the brand of dating shinaya regardless whether they end up together or not, they care for each other nonetheless. and my favorite thing to have fun with is their messy fresh off the daze dating bc they spent NO time healing/talking/etc and its a nightmare to everyone. literally that couple fighting and everyone being like Ok were leaving now and them being like NO!!!!
