Tbh I just wanna say that I'm going absolutely feral for the story, omfg. Also, re: that post u shared about Rust liking music, I was re-watching, noticed Rust had a boombox in the storage shed, and was thinking about what he would listen to. Definitely strikes me as a Leonard Cohen, Townes Van Zandt, Johnny Cash guy, but might also like Swans, Suicide, Nick Cave and Rowland S. Howard. I could also see him being a classical music fan (heavy on the Bach, Schubert, Hildegarde Von Bingen, 20th Century minimalism).

omg you're RIGHT--he does have a boombox even in his weirdo 3D murder board multimedia experience storage shed. And none of his evidence is on tape--just the video on VHS--so it's there purely because he wants it there. Perfect. We have in story justification for going wild with the playlists.

it's really refreshing that isat's cast is mainly adults when everything else I like is about high schoolers but mostly it's really relieving that siffrin in particular is in their mid-late 20s. because if I'm making bad decisions and going through it and don't have everything figured out at 18 that's fine because siffrin is also making bad decisions and going through it and doesn't have everything figured out and he's a decade older than me. it feels less pressuring when someone significantly older than me is also going through it even if he's just a fictional character lol

#like yknow that feeling when u turned 18 and an adult to everyone now and it feels like u have to Grow Up. I'm getting ratio'd by my family for my opinions, so let's see what Tumblr thinks about this:

He has to do it from standing, flat-footed. He cannot do it off of a high object or from standing in mid-air or into a Valley of Screams. He has to stick the landing. He is not allowed time to train or otherwise prepare. He's standing in the dojo and someone comes in and yells "DO A BACKFLIP!!": can he? Assume he is on-board with doing the backflip, i.e., don't pick 'no' on the assumption that he would refuse to do it.
